We need to state up front what we require from Pakistan as our foreign policy demands. Not this wishy washy "We will be friends and talk about everything" The Indian population will be baying for Pakistani blood in a few years. And if people are not careful the massacres of partition will be nothing compared to what can happen.

do not worry shiv some in the india,s so called educated class are already awake and have been for many years.I agree with your views here. What you are painting here is a very likely scenario in a few years. if a BJP govt with someone in charge who is more aggressive than Modiji your painted scenario more than likely is going to turn out to be true. someone is going to call pakistan,s bluff.

Now the Pakis are being very honest and saying:
Yeah, we DID plan and execute the 26/11/2008 attacks in Mumbai.
So what you gonna do about it, Modi?
What's the point in giving any more Dossiers? They'll just yawn. What's India going to go? :(( to the United Nations? :rotfl:
Brilliant move by the Pakis. Can India say, OK, thank u v. much, enjoy the cinders in the crater that used to be ISI HQ? Or is the 56-inch chest really just 5.6 inch, as RahulG says?

I have been a long time reader and finally took the plunge to contribute.

Gurdaspur Coverage as by 'Shahid Masood' is as follows. Do keep in mind that this guy is a foul mouthed spokesperson for ISI and thus for the 'Pakistani Establishment' stationed at GHQ, Pindi. His regular guests are 'Hamid Gul', 'Zulfiqar Mirza', 'Faisal Raza Abidi' and 'Sheik Rasheed Ahmed'.

27 July: http://youtu.be/DEwatZ3dPeo?t=60s watch till 8m (total run of 7 mins)
- Starts with his own 'June' clip wherein he warned that 'Punjab Terror' movement is picking up again. This is in line with Pak prop up of 'Punjab Terror' during Modi rallies in US and Canada as well as other actions of re-ignition.
- Uses word 'bhonda' (stupid) act to describe what he claims is an Indian Intelligence planned operation. Multiple usage of word 'nikhato' (useless) and 'bevkook' (idiot) to describe Indian Intelligence and South Block.
- According to him Bharat has lost the game in Afghanistan and thus are attacking its own population to blame Pakistan.

28 July: http://youtu.be/1_eyI6OWF00?t=45s watch till 14m:30s (total run of 13.75 mins)
- For this days episode he has further briefing and is attacking Doval outright. Calls Doval idiot and says that Doval has gone crazy due to Afghanistan talks success. Implies that Doval is ugly.
- Says that since Doval is not fit for planning he should take advice from Pakistani Peons. According to him Pakistani Peons/Cloth-washers/'Bhangi' are more intelligent and better planners then Doval.
- Reaffirms Pakistans love for Sikhs and calls them brothers. Masood is very worried that Indian Government may harm Sikhs due to this terror incident. Further he states, it is nice that the MMS is out now other-wise what would have happened to him, as MMS is Sikh too.

29 July: http://youtu.be/z74Bdi3u5UI?t=11s watch till 2m (total run of 2 mins)
- Starts with attacking Doval, calling him Idiot and duffer. Says that Masood's news is not going to derail the Afghan '2+2+1' (Afghan/Taliban+US/China+Pakistan) talk.
- Worried that Doval might call a suicide strike on himself due to loss of mental balance.

30 July: http://youtu.be/99D0HWP9U2A?t=45s watch till 3m (total run of 2.25 mins)
- Worried about Indian movie trailer which is propagating 'Kaante se Kaanta nikalenge’.
- Implicitly warning India about an upcoming war by quoting some US newspaper saying that India/Pakistan are close to a war after a long time.
- Further discussion of Afghan peace process after 3 min till 20 min, ends with a warning that if Afghan peace process is interrupted by India then US/China will not take it lying down.

31 July: Search for 'Shahid Masood 31 July'
- Talk of Jalaludin Haqqani news disclosure. Discussion on India’s profit/loss due to the same, makes it clear that India won’t gain anything.
- Shows proposed map of IS which include whole of middle-east and parts of India and China.

1 Aug: Search for 'Shahid Masood 1 August'
- Again talk of IS map and stress of India's inclusion in it.
- Discuss of USA Today article of proposed IS attack on India.
- Talks of Raman's article on Yakub.
- Chota Shakeel's warning clip is shown.
- Says that India is now all in trouble due to Kashmir Terror, Punjab supposed terror, IS terror and D-Comany.

3 Aug: Search for 'Shahid Masood 3 August' – late in episode
- Picks up an Indian paper which quoted him calling Doval names. Says he is sorry for hurting the sentiments of Cloth-washers/Peon’s for comparing with Doval.

PS: Kindly note that 'Najam Sethi' has not mentioned 'Gurdaspur Terrorist Strike' at all in his program 'Aapas ki Baat' which was aired on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

So about the trucking thing.
Those trucks supply both Pakistan and afghanistan.
The pakistanis don't want to allow Indian trucks to travel to Afghanistan. They want their trucks to do this amd make jazia.
Guess who all benefit from this?
People like Harami Gul, who has his own trucking business. He and the other jihadis raised a lot of ruckus to prevent MFN, transit rights to afg, so that they could benefit.

There is a 400% likelihood of haramigiri by them, as witnessed with their gameplaying with the americans. So the parallel access via Iran.

Pakistan doesn't produce much as it is, what will they export to Afghanistan hainji?

TSP does not allow indian trucks passage into afghanistan. but maybe indian trucks take it upto lahore and then TSP trucking cos take it all over.

I would not want our vulnerable truckers to be slaughtered in that land for no fault of their own.
NOPE! Indian trucks are not allowed to go across the border. Afghani trucks are parked on the other side of the border and porters wearing Red are Pakistanis while porters wearing blue are Indian. Between 10 AM - 4 PM daily (not sure about weekends) One Blue Indian porter take a bag (on his back) goes up to the no-man's land where over both Indian BSF and Paki rangers log the bag and porter and allow them across then they must go back and so forth.

I think now both sides have agreed to have a "Truck" Terminal where trucks (checked by BSF) will be allowed.

It is totally manual load/unload stuff.

I do have seen others (like one group somewhere from Europe) traveling in their car allowed to go through.

Yes Singha! That's what everybody who is Indian citizen (or even foreigner with a valid visa to Pakis) does.

Samjhauta Express https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samjhauta_Express
and the Sada-e-Sarhad http://forums.bharat-rakshak.com/viewto ... &start=920

are the only two modes of land travel that go from Delhi to Lahore and back for Indian citizens across Wagah.

India seeks US help in tracing NVD recovered from Gurdaspur attack

New Delhi: India has approached the US to help identify the Night Vision Device (NVD) used by the three terrorists who carried out the Gurdaspur attack even as investigators did not rule out the possibility of a reconnaissance of target areas being carried out.

Besides the NVD, a request has also been routed through Union Home Ministry seeking details of Global Positioning System (GPS), used by terrorists in reaching the police station at Dina Nagar where they were engaged by Punjab Police. The manufacturer of the device is based in the US, official sources said today.

The NVD bearing a marking that it belongs to the US government was recovered from the terrorists, the sources said, adding it was used as a telescope with the assault rifle to help them in identifying the target in dead of the night.

Informally, the FBI has assured Indian investigators that all assistance will be provided in this regard and even indicated that the NVD could have been snatched from allied troops fighting war in Afghanistan, the sources said.

For a closer cooperation on terror-related matters, India and the US have appointed personnel from their respective security agencies as part of the diplomatic staff at each other's Embassies. :rotfl:

The Indian investigators also sought details about the coordinates of GPS that was seized from the terrorists. It could help the probe agency to find out where the GPS was used initially or the country to where it was exported.

The GPS is generally used by travellers on trekking or army personnel in unfamiliar terrain. It connects a customer to a satellite and helps the traveller know the way to the destination.

Three terrorists, believed to be of Lashker-e-Toiba terror group, had sneaked in from Ravi river at the Punjab border on intervening night of July 26 and 27 and attacked a police station in Dina Nagar. Seven people including a Superintendent of Police were killed by the terrorists before they were neutralised by Punjab Police.

In the meantime, security agencies were looking into a possibility that the terrorists had been briefed in advance about the targets and someone could have possibly infiltrated and carried out a reconnaissance, the sources said.

The 'way points' marked in the GPS also showed Gurdaspur Civil Lines area as one of the targets of terrorists as it is a posh area with many senior officials staying there besides housing an office unit of the Army.

This could be possible only because of pre-fed information from someone who may have been tasked to do so, the sources said and did not rule out the possibility of the flourishing drug mafia being involved in the process.

Hope they don't hand over the recovered evidence as US has habit of destroying them in tests.

I guess that's why this request is being released in the media.
What if the GPS didn't completely erase all data like computers do? It maybe possible to use a data recovery software and extract everything in there, even the supposedly deleted data.

India must put a lot of trust in the FBI to give them a device like this

shiv wrote:Unfortunately the Pakistan terror problem is inextricably linked with the biggest problem word used to flog and punish Hindus - that is "secularism"

Secularism says that anything that is done in the name of religion is fine. Secular people cannot object. So when Pakistanis kill non Muslims or non Sunnis in Pakistan no one can object. It is fine because it is done in the name of religion and Pakistan is an Islamic state.

A problem arises when Pakistanis attack Indians in India for being Hindu or non Muslim. Unfortunately Indians have taken the attitude that if a religion demands a particular type of behaviour then we must accept it or else we will be tearing the secular fabric of our nation. In other words Indians - especially a series of governments and babus have not had the balls to stand up and say that discrimination and attacks against Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, and other minority groups cannot be tolerated even if it is allowed as per Islam. That would be "Hindu right wing".

When Pakistani terrorists openly scream "Allah ho Akbar" and target unarmed Indians we have to call a spade a spade and point out that Pakistan is a nation of Islamic extremists out to attack anything they deem to be unislamic. An attack on India and Indians is an attack on India and Indians even if the attack is conducted in the name of Islam. Our secular fabric has never protected people from dying with bomb injuries and bullet wounds. Secularism is not bullet proof but represents proof of bullshit when we shy away from telling Pakistan that their Islamic endeavours against India need to stop.

Our secularism extends so deep that we seem to want validation from the west, not understanding that the west, mainly Christian in its ethos does not give a shit for our views of secularism and thinks that we are Hindu extremists and that Pakistan is right.

The so called "rise of the Hindu right wing" is simply a manifestation of the increasing realization in India of these things. Given time, Indians will be baying for Pakistani blood. Anyone is allowed to worry that it is the Hindu right wing that is baying for Pakistani Muslim blood, but let me point out right now that our leaders have hidden behind secularism when Islam has been used by Pakistan and its apologists to hunt and hound non Muslims.

The sooner we are honest about what we see wrong in Pakistani behaviour, the more honest we are being with ourselves and the world and the less likely we are to waste time in useless pursuits like Aman ki Asha.

We need to state up front what we require from Pakistan as our foreign policy demands. Not this wishy washy "We will be friends and talk about everything" The Indian population will be baying for Pakistani blood in a few years. And if people are not careful the massacres of partition will be nothing compared to what can happen.

Pakistan as a nation must be destroyed. It,s army must be destroyed.it,s nuclear arsenal must be captured or destroyed at the earliest. All means should be used to achieve this including Shri Doval style chanakyaniti. But IMO all this can never be achieved without war.India as a nation can not move forward without this in my opinion.Pakistan will always act as a speed breaker and India will not be able to achieve it,s full potential without the destruction of pakistan. They will always try to bring us down to their level and they have been doing this since independence. By destruction of Pakistan I mean destruction of the state of pakistan and it,s army not it,s people.

If he hasn't killed anyone, he'll end up cooling his musharraf in high security prison in Jammu/Udhampur.
After interrogation of course.

I'm not so sure about exactly how much additional information he will be able to give, apart from what our intel already knows, but atleast he'll be able to point out his infiltration route, any additional terrorists who managed to get in and their targets.

Otherwise, intel usually has a very good idea about launching pads, training camps, the people at those training camps - both LET and Pak Army walas etc.

Yet another terror attack, suspected to be originating from Pakistan, left two BSF constables dead on the crucial Jammu-Srinagar highway on Wednesday, but one of the two Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) terrorists involved was captured alive like Ajmal Kasab in the 2008 Mumbai terror strike.

(See video: One terrorist caught alive after attack on BSF convoy)

Mohammed Naved, a resident of the Ghulam Mustafabad area in Faislabad town of Pakistan, along with another terrorist, Noman alias Momin, fired at a BSF convoy on the highway at Simroli around 8am. BSF jawans retaliated, killing Noman, while Naved managed to escape towards a village in the nearby hills, where he took three villagers hostage.

The villagers managed to capture him and call the police, who took him into custody, giving the Indian security establishment a prized catch, which points to Pakistan’s involvement in the attack.

Read: Hostages braved a hail of bullets to nab Pak terrorist

Today's attack came a week after the terror strike in Gurdaspur by three Pakistanis, in which they and seven Indians were killed.

During sustained interrogation, Naved, in his early 20s, changed his name several times. First, he said he was Kasim Khan but then changed it to Usman, before stating that he was actually Mohammed Naved, whose family includes two brothers and a sister.

Naved said he, along with four other terrorists, had entered Kupwara district in the Kashmir Valley a month ago on a similar terror mission, but had crossed back into the Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir because they could not make a headway.

'It's fun doing this'

The captured terrorist presented a strange picture before television cameras, smiling a few times and answering questions calmly and telling reporters, “it's fun doing this”. Had he been killed it would have been “the Allah's doing”, he said.

(See video: Came into India 12 days ago: Pakistani Terrorist Usman)

Giving details of the incident, Inspector General of Police (Jammu) Danish Rana said the militants hurled grenades and opened indiscriminate fire on the convoy, when it reached the Nassu belt on its way from Jammu to Srinagar.

As many as 11 BSF personnel were injured in the attack. They were shifted to hospitals in Jammu and the army hospital in nearby Udhampur, which is the headquarters of Northern Command.

No link between attack and Amarnath Yatra: Rajnath

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said there was no link between the attack and Amarnath pilgrims passing the area.

A convoy carrying Amarnath pilgrims had already crossed the area on the highway when the militants attacked the BSF convoy.

Singh offered condolences to the families of the jawans, identified as constables Rocky and Shubhendu Roy, who died in the attack even as he spoke to BSF Chief DK Pathak about the incident.

BSF officials at the forces' headquarters in Delhi said constable Rocky, who was killed in the encounter, displayed exemplary courage and shot dead the militant who had attacked the convoy.

While he hailed from Haryana, Roy, the other BSF constable killed, was from West Bengal.

‘Pak hand in terror attacks’

Today's attack drew sharp reaction from the opposition Congress and National Conference, who said India should give a strong warning to Pakistan. Former state Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah said Pakistan is definitely involved in the terror attacks.

“They (the Indian leadership) must give a strong warning to our neighbours that we cannot tolerate this any longer, and this is enough. On the one hand, we talk about dialogue and on the other hand terror activities continue.

“Till when will this go on? Do we just have to die, as the dialogue is not reaching any conclusion? I would like to tell the Indian government that they must convey with immediacy to our neighbours that enough is enough. We do want peace with you, but we will not tolerate terrorism any longer.

“They must appeal to the neighbouring government (and say), otherwise be prepared to face consequences," Farooq said.

NC leader and former CM of J&K, Omar Abdullah said Kashmir's condition was already in a bad shape, and now this new militancy has started.

“Educated youth are getting drawn towards militancy. Today, you saw an attack in Jammu, that too in an area from where we had wiped militancy clean. This is another evidence of the incapability and failure of this government. Militancy is not shifting, it is merely resurging in areas from where we had managed to clear it,” Omar said. — PTI

Kidnapper becomes hostage himself!

The daring act of two hostages in overpowering their captor — a suspected Pakistani terrorist — after a tough struggle amid a hail of bullets helped in netting a terror catch that could give valuable leads.

A resident of Ghulam Mustafabad (Faisalabad) in Pakistan, Mohammed Naved, believed to be in his early 20s, who along with another militant attacked a BSF convoy, was caught alive after he was pinned down by two of the five people he had taken hostage at a school.

“He was caught by those whom he took hostage. Two of them, besides some VDC members, also helped in his arrest during the operation,” Deputy Commissioner (DC), Udhampur, Shahid Iqbal Choudhary told PTI.

Two BSF soldiers were killed and 11 personnel injured in the attack on a convoy of the paramilitary force on Jammu-Srinagar national highway in Udhampur.

Another terrorist involved in the strike was shot dead in retaliatory fire. Naved identified him as Noman alias Momin, who hailed from Bhawalpur in Pakistan.

Naved, after the attack in the Nassu-Samroli area, escaped and took five people hostage in a school building in a nearby hamlet.

“As I came out of my house after hearing a gunshot, this militant came and asked me to come with him. He had already taken three-four people along,” Rakesh Kumar, a youth who was taken hostage, said.

Army and police then cordoned off the area surrounding the school to rescue the hostages.

“We were taken at gunpoint to the school. He asked us to show us the route to escape from the area,” another hostage, Vikramjeet said.

The militant threatened them that if they didn't show him the route, he would kill their family, he said, adding that they also offered him some food.

While the other three, Desraj, Subash Sharma and Jeevan, managed to escape, Vikramjeet and Rakesh fought with the militant and caught him after a tough struggle.

“I caught his neck and he (Rakesh) caught hold of the gun. He (the militant) fired a few rounds but we escaped narrowly and caught him,” Vikramjeet said.

Fortunately, there were no students in the school in view of the strike for demand for an AIIMS in Jammu, the DC said, adding that large quantity of arms and ammunition have been recovered from the captured militant. — PTI

"Go ahead and do whatever you can, attack Pakistan and be done with it if it's so much trouble for you…either settle the Kashmir dispute or attack Pakistan as it is creating problems for you," said Gul.

I think India should send a dozen drones very openly targeting the leadership of the ISI and mullahs. Name each drone after a BSF or Army or police jawan killed.

Start with Hamid Gul and Mohammed Khan (?) the big chief of the Pakistan Army of Islam. Plus the nominal residence of the HUM bugger-in-chief and that of Hafeez Saeed.

If TSP shoots them down, it still makes the leadership wonder what will happen next. If they don't shoot the drones down in time, well, kill the leadership. Time to quit worrying about what the Duniya will say etc.

You never know. Might trigger a coup, plus a host of biz-jets flights to KSA and New Jersey.

That tells a lot about the training of these Piglets. Getting captured by unarmed hostages.

Those villagers must have really bashed him up good.
He is really lucky to be alive. He didn't die from the beating or a possible lynching!

But I love the way the police, the BSF and the citizens are taking on Pakistani Terrorists.
No one is terrorized at all !!! :D

But two soldiers are dead, guys. Way too expensive a way to capture one useless piece of garbage. There has to be payback that hurts the Pakis badly.

No need. More cost effective is funding the under 16s via obliging Maulvis to carry out Allah's directives to kill the infidels in Clifton and the Defence colonies. Kaluchak x 10

Further deniability is to do it via the Afghan KHAD.

No infiltration, no drones, no connections. Only jiujitsu.

Just sayin'
