Indiangenous cryo. 3rd time its being used.
This is the third time the indigenously developed Cryogenic Upper Stage (CUS) is being carried on-board during a GSLV flight. GSLV-D6 flight is significant since it intends to continue the testing of CUS. GSLV is designed to inject 2 ton class of communication satellites into Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO).

Director says January 2014 was no fluke.

All systems performed normally.

This is an 'onam' gift.

Capable of carrying 2-2.5T payload.

Naughty boy has been transformed to most adored boy of ISRO - made possible by Team ISRO.

Hopefully someday we will have better ground and onboard cameras to capture the flight. I know its lowest priority but some day:)

Love Dr Tapan Misra.

Pakka SDRE incharge of SAC. His team built the satellite and in particular the 6m unfurl-able antenna for the first time in India.Applause.

Solar panel deployed and power being generated.

Some poetry being recited
Door hoti ja rahi hai kalpana
Paas aati ja rahi hai zindagi

NaMo congratulates ISRO

Injection parameters 170km x 35945km, 19.96 deg inclination as against planned 170km x 35975km, 19.95 deg a fantastic accuracy which should help prolong satellite life beyond what was planned.
