The Indian press and we Indians help the Pakistani establishment to propagate its world view because we simply pick up, believe and repeat what they say rather than analysing what they might want to hide. Even on BRF we simply pick up Paki reports like "Pakistan to buy Su-35" and get our chaddis in a huge twist. Once again I blame successive Indian governments for this blindness. Forget Indian people - Indian policymakers themselves view Pakistan as a normal state and that their press is truthful and does not hide anything; Pakistan is a democracy because they say so; the Pakistan army is not interested in power because they say so etc.Paki claims are shown to be false time and again

This is why I have been asking that this thread should be reserved for more serious analysis. We have joyful reports with lots of smileys when something bad is reported, followed by panic 'Ohh there will now be a terrorist attack" when something else happens. This thread is more gossip and timepass spreading of Paki rumours than analysis.

WASHINGTON: Bluntly calling Pakistan a ''prime sponsor of terrorism,'' India on Wednesday asked Islamabad to vacate the part of Kashmir it has occupied, virtually laying down a new paradigm for any resolution of the issue.

''Pakistan is not primary victim of terrorism but of its own policies. It is in fact the prime sponsor of terrorism. Pakistan's instability arises from its breeding of terrorists. Blaming neighbors is not a solution,'' Spokesman of India's Ministry of External Affairs Vikas Swarup said in a series of tweets on Wednesday.

''To de-militarize Kashmir is not the answer, to de-terrorize Pakistan is,'' Swarup blasted back.

In response to Sharif's statement that ''many generations of Kashmiris have lived their lives under occupation,'' Swarup tweeted the following retort: ''Pak PM gets foreign occupation right, occupier wrong. We urge early vacation of Pak occupied Kashmir.''

Despite this well known pattern, previous Indian governments had been reluctant to call out Pakistan and humiliate it so publicly, preferring discreet peace moves to walk it back from its widely-known sponsorship of terrorism. The BJP government appears to have decided it will call Pakistan's bluff and expose it before the world community.

The Modi government also seem to want to challenge the old Pakistani narrative about unrest only in Jammu and Kashmir, by highlighting Pakistan's occupation of a part of Kashmir, including Gilgit and Baltistan. By many accounts, people in that region have far less rights than those in India's J&K, where only a small section of malcontents in a narrow strip of Kashmir Valley backed by Pakistan want to secede. There is also a systematic pogram against non-sunni sects in the region that has not caught international attention.

India's official reply:

http://mea.gov.in/Speeches-Statements.h ... 70th_sessi
Mr. President,

It is regrettable that the delegation of Pakistan has once again chosen to misuse the High Level Segment of the UN General Assembly Session to distort reality and portray a false picture of the challenges in our region.

Pakistan claims to be the primary victim of terrorism. In truth, it is actually a victim of its own policies of breeding and sponsoring terrorists. Seeking to mask its activities as though an outcome of domestic discontent in the Indian State of Jammu & Kashmir carries no credibility with the world.

Mr. President,

It was stated that Jammu and Kashmir is under foreign occupation. It is, except that the occupier in question is Pakistan. In fact, India’s reservations about the proposed China-Pakistan Economic Corridor stem from the fact that it passes through Indian territory illegally occupied by Pakistan for many years.

Pakistan apparently regrets that the dispute over Jammu and Kashmir remains unresolved and that our dialogue has not progressed. If it is so, this is because Pakistan has chosen to disregard its commitments, whether it was under the 1972 Simla Agreement, the 2004 Joint Declaration forswearing terrorism, or more recently, the understanding between our two Prime Ministers at Ufa. On each occasion, it is India that has extended the hand of friendship. India remains open even today to engage Pakistan on outstanding issues in an atmosphere free of terrorism and violence.

Mr. President,

Reference was made to ceasefire violations and exchanges of fire along the Line of Control and the International Boundary. The world knows that the primary reason for firing is to provide cover to terrorists crossing the border. It needs no imagination to figure out which side initiates this exchange.

It is not uncommon for states, when confronted with serious challenges, to shift responsibility on others. That is the case with Pakistan and terrorism, reflecting the inability to recognize that this is a home grown problem that has begun to bite the hand that fed it. We agree that terrorism has underlying causes – in this case, poverty of wisdom and ignorance of consequences.

Mr. President,

The heart of the matter is a state that regards the use of terrorism as a legitimate instrument of statecraft. The world watches with concern as its consequences have spread beyond its immediate neighbourhood. All of us stand prepared to help, if only the creators of this monster wake up to the dangers of what they have done to themselves.

Hi shiva I am not quoting Indian media but paki defence minister while giving interview on News Eye told to Maher that Pakis are having 400% proof and will provide in UN. Also in one of the Paki channel Aziz told host that ganja is going to provide proof 800% in UN general assembly while he will address.

^^Those statements are what I am saying were for internal consumption. Pakis have to feel that Indians are guilty and UN ( a third party) will get proof. The fact that this is a lie is well known to all of us. Later UN can be blamed for not supporting Pakistan despite proof - another lie that Pakis will be told. If UN says something, Pakis will say that is a victory and present it to their people as a great international victory of Paki policy.

It is so predictable

Al Bakistan Not Al islam anymore but China's Whore

Abandoning Pan-Islamic diplomacy
But what case for Pan-Islamic diplomacy does one present in 2015, when jihadism and Pan-Islamism both have gorily backfired on Pakistan?Where does Pan-Islamism factor into Islamabad’s diplomacy when the two bordering Muslim neighbours call out Pakistan for facilitating Islamist terrorism?/b]In April last year Iran’s parliament actually passed a bill to enhance security cooperation with Pakistan, while calling out for Islamabad’s accountability in cross-border attacks by al-Qaeda linked militant organizations like Jaishul Adl.And so, when the “brotherly” neighbours and the states’ enemies are all Muslims, what sense does it make for Islamabad to cling on to Islam as the core component of its security and foreign policy? While 1970s Pakistan looked to Arab magnates for strength, the 2010s Pakistan is looking towards ‘atheist’ China as its godfather. The same China that implements blatant ‘anti-Islam’ policies in its largest province Xinjiang, to counter Muslim separatism. Xinjiang is the Chinese Kashmir, to put things into perspective. When Pakistan can sign the ‘lifeline’ China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) with a state wholeheartedly antagonistic to Pan-Islamist ideology, why does Islamabad still need to continue selling the outdated diplomatic rhetoric?
Pakistan’s historical venture to mould itself as the ‘anti-India’ has gradually evolved into masochism, especially on the diplomacy front. It is because of Pakistan’s masochistic foreign policy, that bilateral trade with India is conducted via UAE, ensuring that Islamabad does not reap the benefits of a marketplace of over 1 billion consumers. It is the same self-defeatist paranoia that forces Islamabad to cling onto eastward looking jihadist proxies like Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), also known as Jamat-ud-Dawa (JuD), aggravating the internal security situation. Not to mention that it’s precisely this obsession with negating India that has damaged Pak-Afghan ties over the decades, culminating in Ghani’s epoch-defining outburst this week.Granted India isn’t exactly lying in the wait with arms wide open, but how long before common sense, logic, geography and mathematics prevail and Pakistan realises that it has more to gain from smooth Indo-Pak ties than the other way around?Pakistan’s historic interests have been in shaking the Indo-Pak status quo, in Kashmir and elsewhere – hence, the initiation of bilateral wars from our side of the border. Indian interests lie in maintaining that status quo, which is precisely what they’ve been doing through sheer size of its territory, economy and diplomatic clout. As Pakistan abandons Pan-Islamism on the Chinese front, it should look to do the same with India. Geographic proximity with the two biggest markets in the world is a virtual goldmine for Pakistan’s economy. The Two-Nation Theory was always going to devour itself and be replaced with ideological pluralism. Now is as good a time as any to pull down the curtain.

COASSfor cordial relations with India but not at cost of honour
Honorable Asseople Tale
LONDON: Chief of Army Staff And head of Qabila General Raheel Sharif has stressed that Pakistan wants cordial relations with India but ruled out any bargain which puts at stake its respect and honour.Addressing a gathering of Pakistanis at a program here, General Sharif said Pakistan has also made all out efforts to build and maintain friendly ties with its another neighbour Afghanistan.
The statement from the Army Chief followed the speech of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) meeting in which the latter presented four-point peace initiative with India. The Premier said the two countries should address and resolve the causes of tension and take all possible measures to avert further escalation.Four-point initiative proposed by PM Nawaz at UNGA:
Addressing the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) meeting he said: “One, we propose that Pakistan and India formalise and respect the 2003 understanding for a complete ceasefire on the Line of Control in Kashmir. For this purpose, we call for UNMOGIP's expansion to monitor the observance of the ceasefire.“Two, we propose, that Pakistan and India reaffirm that they will not resort to the use or the threat of use of force under any circumstances. This is a central element of the UN Charter.
“Three, steps be taken to demilitarise Kashmir." “Four, agree to an unconditional mutual withdrawal from Siachen Glacier, the world's highest battleground.”

Speaking about dossiers...

One can't even make this things up...

Nawaz says: :rotfl:
Dossier on Indian hand in terrorism in Pakistan ready, says PM

Dossier on Indian hand in terrorism in Pakistan ready, says PM

NEW YORK: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the dossier pertaining to Indian interference in Pakistan’s affairs and fomenting terrorism on Pakistan’s soil by India was ready, and if he had a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi here at the UN Headquarters, he would have handed it over to him.

Now the dossier would be submitted to the UN Secretary General in a couple of days.

Addressing a news conference immediately after his address to the United Nations here at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, where he is staying, he said that Pakistan is keen to have peaceful neighbourly relations with India but New Delhi hasn’t responded with the same sentiments. “It is the time that India should act by coming forward and desist from violating the ceasefire on LoC/ Working Boundary.”

The prime minister expressed satisfaction about his meetings here at the UN headquarters and said that these would help in improving the image of the country. Nawaz Sharif has left for London on his way to Pakistan after five days in New York.

Earlier, a meeting was held in the camp office of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in which it was decided that Pakistan will hand over dossiers pertaining to Indian involvement in terrorist activities on Pakistan’s soil to the United Nations early next week.

Various aspects of the matter were discussed and it was decided that the dossiers would be handed over to the UN secretary general by Adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz.

This is true for every corner of the globe. The Indian media is a bunch of useless jokers.
The problem with Pakistan reporting is that the jokers are obsessed with pakistan but wouldnt move their tight asses to find the truth. They would simply push the narrative of Hajam Sethi and other closet rapette jihadis. Utterly useless people.

Netanyahu canceled his dinner reservation at Serafina (upscale restaurant in NYC) after learning Pakistan’s leader would be there. Netanyahu has the best security in the world. But one can assume that it wouldn’t make sense for him to be at a restaurant at the same time as Sharif.

Here , fixed it as it should have been.

Next time Indian Delegation visits Pakistan they should fix open appointment with leaders of POK+GB+KP. In fact this demand should be sent in advance to Pakis to arrange the meeting. NaMo is due in Pakistan in 2016 for SAARC meeting. India should ask to shift the venue as well if Pakistan is unable to accede to the request.

Great reply by MEA there. Pakis must be squirming in their seats. Got to watch it.

Baki-Yehudi Bye Bye
Netanyahu refused to be in same restaurant as Pakistani leader
Israel avoided a potentially uncomfortable New York confrontation with Pakistan during UN General Assembly week by canceling a dinner reservation for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after learning Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would be eating at the same spot.

The billionaire Pakistani leader ate at Serafina Always on Tuesday night.

Netanyahu’s team had booked tables there, too, “but decided not to proceed after learning the Pakistani pol would be there,” a source told us, adding the decision to cancel was made “for security reasons.”

Sharif, speaking in 2014 about the Gaza conflict, said, “[The] world must stop Israel from this naked and brutal aggression.”

Netanyahu is scheduled to address the UN General Assembly on Thursday and is expected to talk about Islamic extremism and the Iran nuclear deal.

A witness at Serafina said Sharif dined for three hours on the second floor with his wife, who “looked beautiful” dressed in gold, and 10 others in his entourage, while his security detail occupied two separate tables.

His party was adamant that there could be no alcohol or meat, and they ate pizzas and drank sodas. For dessert they ate apple pie, cheesecake and chocolate soufflé.

But they declined the tiramisu because it contains a splash of amaretto.

When they left the place at 10:30 p.m., we’re told Sharif and his wife spoke in Italian to the staff, saying, “Grazie.”

Response to Sharif's 4 point plan..by Sushma Swaraj ..
Yesterday the Prime Minister of Pakistan proposed what he termed as a four-point new
peace initiative. I would like to respond. We do not need four points, we
need just one
{it sounded even more powerful when it was delivered in Hindi} - give up terrorism and let us sit down and talk. This was
precisely what was discussed and decided by the two Prime Ministers at Ufa
this July. Let us hold talks at the level of NSAs on all issues connected to
terrorism and an early meeting of our Directors General of Military
Operations to address the situation on the border. If the response is serious
and credible, India is prepared to address all outstanding issues through a
bilateral dialogue.
