I did not want to attract unwanted attention to the forum. That is why the secrecy. He is dressed as Bal Thakray. A simple google image search for the name will give his images in the same clothes.

He is dead alright. I have a question for you Cosmo_R. Do you even follow Indian politics, especially mumbai (which was Bombay)? Two Thackerays are stil active - one is the son and the other nephew (physical realization of the the concept of nepotism). Then you have this Aditya Thackeray, grandson, who got Rohintan Mistry's book "A very long journey" withdrawn from Univ. of Mumbai syllabus.

A thought occurs...
Pakistan has a lot of jihadi groups. Any abdul who wants to do jihad, fight the kafirs and munafiqs and die in the path of Allah can easily join any one of the terrorist groups. Those groups offer a better quality of life with way better perks, privilidges and sawab than joining pak fauj ever will.

One must assume therefore that the ones who joined the fauj as ordinary soldiers were all looking for a peaceful life. These guys are unlikely to be as motivated as their jihadi peers, and will have a tendency to lay down arms once the afsar corps has down hill skiied.

That is why things like 70 men surrendering to 5 jihadis happen all the time.

I.M.F. Pressure On Pakistan: Raise Taxes Or Else... ..
$6.2b bailout: IMF sets tight deadline for slapping new taxes
ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan will have to take around Rs40 billion in additional tax measures in the next two weeks, the chief of the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) mission in the country said on Friday.
Wow! Is this an ultimatum or what !
His statement came as the government contemplates increasing duties on cigarettes and luxury consumer items to meet the shortfall in revenue collection targets to secure the next $502 million tranche of the $6.2 billion loan programme.
So, understandably, there seems to some sort of reluctance to "swallow the bitter IMF medicine " ; short term dreams of being a "mini-super power" can also be put on the "back burner" for a long, long time .
“These measures have to be implemented before we go ahead with the next [IMF] board meeting,” Finger said.
The GOP can counter that with the "usual" statement that it is a nuclear power and therefore cannot be "blackmailed"!
Pakistani rupee ‘overvalued’
Finger also spoke about what IMF thought of the exchange rate for the Pakistani rupee.
“There are no scientific estimates as to what the exchange rate should be but our module shows that the rupee is overvalued by between 5% and 20%,” he said. “If the exchange rate is depreciated by that amount then it will be in line with fundamentals.”
Good diplomatic language so as to not hurt their Enchendee
To a question, Finger said that “there is absolutely no link between the IMF programme and Pakistan’s nuclear sector,” burying speculations that the United States could use the IMF to pressure Pakistan into rolling back its nuclear programme.
Enchendee now intact ! confirmation of no pressure .....
He said the IMF programme was actually helping put in place a gradual phase of fiscal adjustment, which will reduce Pakistan’s financing needs and lower the debt-to-GDP ratio. He said defense expenditures are “a matter of national preference and national decision-making”.
Carrot and stick approach at work here; first the stick and then "feeding the carrots" .
Meanwhile ...Modiji has announced a mega billion dollar development program for Indian Kashmir (without IMF funding !)

Pakistan's location key within Asia, Aziz tells meeting of Asia-Europe ministers
Joker and Joke of Weekend
LUXEMBOURG: Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz has said that Pakistan provides a vital link between South Asia and Central and West Asia, as well as to Europe.

Aziz spoke of Pakistan's significance as he led the Pakistan delegation at the 12th Foreign Ministers’ Meeting of Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) that took place in Luxembourg on November 5-6.In his address, Aziz highlighted several projects undertaken by Pakistan in cooperation with regional states. He referred to the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline, the CASA-1000 and the Torkham-Jalalabad road project. The two sides agreed that these developments will improve opportunities for trade and investment in Pakistan. The current level of trade between Pakistan and Europe has crossed $11 billion, especially after Pakistan was granted GSP+ status which has been effective since January 2014.Mogherini mentioned that a review of GSP+ in the first two years will be conducted in the beginning of 2016 and emphasised the importance of adequate implementation of the requirements for the status, especially adherence to the 27 UN Conventions on Human Rights, labour standards and climate change.Aziz also apprised Mogherini on efforts being made to pursue Pakistan's policy of a peaceful neighbourhood, improved regional connectivity and Islamabad's efforts to improve relations with India through sustained dialogue.

There were multiple such stories all over the border areas of people helping Armed forces. Baki air force bombed a
1. Cotton mill at Amritsar
2. Hospital at Ambala

also! somewhere in Haryana an baki air force pilot was captured by villagers.

It is a known thing to each sarpanch of the villagers that if there is a deployment then Armed forces will use the fields (whatever the condition of the crop is) i.e.

1. setting up artillery guns (hidden in sugarcan fields with leaves on top).
2. Intelligence equipment (same).

The upper Bari Doab Canal and the lower bari doab canal runs roughly from Jammu all the way to 100 kms south of Amritsar before merging into Satluj. I have regularly seen Army practicing bridge laying for tanks, etc and soldiers rowing against the current and so forth.

But for every TFTA SSG kammandu who surrendered, it took 8 SDRE villagers to threaten, catch and thrash them!! Thus proving once again 1 TFTA = 8 SDRE.

But serious speaking, dont underestimate the SSG. They are highly trained and motivated and are among the worlds best at storm-and-capture techniques. They have had 100% success at storming and capturing PTV headquarters in Isloo during every coup. Their reputation there is legendary!

Folks, I am wondering one thing from the perspectives of the four-fathers. Its a bit of a ramble, but bear with me.

In the next 10 years, we would have deployed S-400 Triumph, BMD/AAD/PAD etc and have a proven multi-layered Air/Missile defense system that makes any Baki attack on India very expensive. The triumph is also mobile and can go with a "cold start team" into Bakistan which makes them completely nuke nood and mijjile nood as someone mentioned.

The other development is the second strike and a semi-blue water navy, that makes it impossible for Bakistan to win anything in the near-mid future.

It brings us to an interesting juncture: and that is, we are very close technologically to where the four-fathers are and that means, any technology to beat the "cutting edge" must be the "bleeding edge".

Once our triad and air defense network is complete: the only technology that the west and the blothel can give bakis to have any semblance of equivalence is either a stealth aircraft or a nuclear sub armed with nuke missiles. Both of these actions have a high price on the west. The blowback is one. i.e. Imagine a nuke sub hijacked by a jeehardi!!!

The second one would be forcing India to find ways to neutralize anything that the four fathers provide Bakistan, which means as an unintended consequence it will propel India to make the bleeding edge. The unintended consequence of that is that the west will loose its technological edge over India.

I think the four fathers will correct course, and start attacking any kind of structure in India that they percieve would result in Indian technological machine catching up with the west. i.e. They will use local politics, spies, murder (of nuke scientists for ex), to keep us down. For that they need a pliable govt. at the center.

No wonder the Bakis and the West are going :(( :(( over yeeevil Modi. They are worried about the same things.

4 Pakistani militants held in Dhaka - PTI
Seven Islamist militants, including four Pakistani nationals, have been arrested in Bangladesh for allegedly planning violent acts in the Muslim-majority country grappling with a series of murders claimed by the Islamic State terror group.

The seven members of the banned Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) were arrested last night in the capital, bdnews quoted police as saying.

Several jihadi books, CDs, seven Pakistani and Bangladeshi passports, seven mobile phones and about Rs. 27,000 were seized from them.

“They have admitted to have met to revive the JMB and plot sabotage in Bangladesh,” Dhaka Metropolitan Police spokesperson Monirul Islam said, adding that they were involved in forging currencies and funding religious extremism.

About the Pakistani passports, Mr. Islam said they were valid. “But their frequent visits are mysterious.”

Bangladesh has in the past three months witnessed murders of an Italian aid worker, a Japanese farmer, attack on a Shia rally, killing of two policemen, and assassination of a book publisher. — PTI
LeT works closely with HuJI-Bangladesh and Jama’at-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB).

COAS to share ideas with US on Afghanistan - DAWN
Army chief Gen Raheel Sharif is expected to mainly focus on Afghanistan during his coming visit to the United States.

During his stay in the US, from Nov 15 to 20, the COAS will meet senior officials at the Pentagon and the State Department, according to officials making preparation for the visit.

This will be the army chief’s second visit to Washington in a year. And it comes close on the heels of a visit to Washington by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif last month when he discussed almost everything with President Barack Obama.

But given the extent of the military’s influence in the country’s foreign affairs and security matters, people here believe that more substantive discussions would take place during the army chief’s US trip.

One must also not lose sight of the fact that Gen Sharif himself requested for this visit. To put it in the words of a Washington-based source, it is not ‘a counterpart visit’.

The request had been made before the prime minister toured Washington.

But that does not mean that the yearning for a meeting is one-sided. American officials too are keen to meet a general who has successfully fought militancy at home and has looked willing to improve relations with Afghanistan.

They see him as a “very candid, clear and upright interlocutor”.

“Many of the times he says things that would otherwise look quite undiplomatic, but he conveys the reality,” said a source who sat in some of Gen Sharif’s meetings with US officials.

He was last year awarded the US Legion of Merit for his contribution to “peace and security”. {It is this American tendency to bypass the elected democratic government and talk to the Army Chief directly on what are basically political matters that undermines democracy in Pakistan, destabilizes the region and increases jihadi terrorism}

Gen Sharif, according to a well-placed source, would be discussing a wide range of security issues with the US officials, but the focus would be largely on Afghanistan, where the peace process between the Taliban and the Ghani government, which started in July, remains suspended.

Moreover, he would discuss the stalemate in Pak-Afghan bilateral relations, which started after the breakdown of reconciliation talks following the disclosure about Mullah Omar’s death and has been preventing the two countries from working together for a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Afghanistan.

The general could share his proposal about how the impasse in reconciliation process could be overcome.

Both President Obama and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had after their White House meeting on Oct 22 called on the Taliban to enter direct talks with the Afghan government and work for a sustainable settlement.

During his recent engagements with foreign leaders, the army chief had been underscoring the importance of a political settlement in Afghanistan, besides calling on “all stakeholders” to revive the reconciliation process.

Speaking at the US Centcom’s Asia Security Conference in Germany, Gen Sharif had stressed that “perpetual instability in Afghanistan had telling effects on the region”.

The Haqqani network would not be a major sticking point in the dialogue, said a source familiar with the thinking in Washington.

The US had at least three months ago threatened to hold about $300 million in Coalition Support disbursements because it was not convinced that Pakistan was doing enough to disrupt the terrorist network.

But, lately much has changed.

Top US commander in Afghanistan Gen John Campbell in his testimony before the Senate Armed Services Committee last month sounded more appreciative of Pakistani efforts even though he still pressed on Pakistan Army to do more against the Haqqani network.

A source disclosed that the urgency about action against the Haqqani network was no longer there because the American side now had a “better understanding” of what Pakistan was doing and it also received “credible assurances” from Pakistan military.

But, still the issue would be taken up by the American side, albeit with lesser emphasis, the source added.

Gen Sharif would brief his American hosts about the progress made in the Zarb-i-Azb Operation since it was launched in North Waziristan in June last year.

Pakistani security officials say the operation is in its last phase and 89 per cent {wow, what an accuracy} of North Waziristan had been cleared of militants with the exception of a few pockets along the border with Afghanistan.

Pakistani troops had commenced ground offensive in North Waziristan’s treacherous Shawal valley in August. According to military, the operation in Shawal was progressing well and most of the heights had been captured. But, the army does not give the timeframe for completion of the action.

The army is, nevertheless, concerned about emergence of terrorist sanctuaries in the Afghan territory bordering North Waziristan. According to a senior military official, at least 16 TTP sanctuaries are developing along the border on the Afghan side. The sanctuaries can pose threat if not addressed, he warned.

Gen Sharif in his meetings in the US would emphasise on stronger border management.

American side would be interested in knowing how US could further assist in Pakistan Army’s counter-terrorism operations.{In essence, more arms supply}

The US has already indicated its willingness to sell eight F-16 fighter jets. About 14 combat aircraft, 59 military trainer jets and 374 armoured personnel carriers were earlier this year given by the US to Pakistan from its excess defense equipment inventories.

Gen Sharif and his interlocutors would also exchange views on the nuclear programme, particularly with regard to the continuing discussions about integrating Pakistan into nuclear mainstream and unabated tensions with India.

As Gen Sharif prepares for Washington, President Obama’s adviser on South Asia Peter Lavoy is reaching Islamabad. It’s not clear if his visit was linked to the army chief’s trip, but he would definitely be discussing most of the issues that Gen Sharif had planned for Washington.

intense hunger will probably do that to you. My memory of the best meal that I ever had was in a unknown hotel in the foot hills of Tirupati, when I was a kid and on my way to the temple. The bus was delayed for some reason and we were very late in getting to the hotel for dinner. It was piping hot rice, sambar and the usual south Indian meal accompaniments. It was a meal that I have never forgotten. I remember this meal often for some strange reason and it's memory seems to have strengthened with age and it has now taken on epic proportions. I hunt for that hotel every time I go to tirupati but have not found it so far.

A really piping hot comfort food meal is always so fundamentally satisfying on so many levels.

US statement on Taliban insignificant: Afghan official On Visit To Pakistan
PESHAWAR: Afghan Deputy Chief Executive Muhammad Khan has said that a statement of the US government terming the Taliban ‘important partners’ did not carry significance.
So now the Afghans are not "buying" the US and Pak mantra about Taliban
“We should not believe in such statements. Just a few days ago the US government had announced extension of stay of its forces in Afghanistan,” he told Dawn when asked about the recent statement of United States defence department.
The Pentagon spokesman had stated that the US viewed Taliban as important partners in a peaceful Afghan-led reconciliation process.
Engineer Muhammad Khan, along with a 45-member official delegation of the Afghan government, was in Peshawar on Saturday to offer condolences on the death of veteran politician Afzal Khan Lala.
Awami National Party President Asfandyar Wali Khan received the delegation at the residence of party’s senior leader Ghulam Ahmad Bilour. Members of late Khan Lala’s family and leaders of the ANP were present on the occasion.
So, Immy's party, which rules KP province, were now where to be seen
The high-level delegation representing all Afghan ethnic groups, including Pakhtuns, Uzbeks, Tajiks and Hazaras, federal ministers, parliamentarians, advisers to President Ashraf Ghani, and representative of former president Hamid Karzai and members of the country’s Peace Council and civil society arrived at Bacha Khan International Airport on a chartered plane. Afghan Ambassador Janan Mosazai was also present.
Due to security reasons, the delegation was not allowed to visit the home of Khan Lala in Swat to offer condolence to his family.
Which probably means that the Deep State did not give its "blessings" to this condolence meet and discourage revival of any Pakhtun nationalism, specially when the PA is killing thier citizens in KP, left and right, under the guise of fighting "terrorism", and also collecting Moolah from US.
There was no protocol for the delegation and no representatives of the federal and provincial governments were present at the airport or the condolence event.
Engineer Khan was sceptical about talks between Taliban and the Afghan government in the near future.
When asked about an offer made by Pakistan to facilitate the talks, he said peace would never return to the region if the two countries did not adopt a joint line of action and build trust with each other.
“I had cautioned a few years back that if the Afghanistan imbroglio was not resolved, the day was not far when there would be blasts in every corner of Pakistan,” he said.

Diplomatically cautioning Pak , not to meddle in Afghanistan's internal affairs, and not to make use of "proxy actors".
Speaking on the occasion, Asfandyar Wali urged Pakistan and Afghanistan to begin negotiations and build trust to eliminate terrorism. He said both countries could not make progress without peace and mutual trust was essential for peace in the entire region.
He said expectations for restoration of peace had been very high after a meeting between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and President Ghani, but some quarters had created hurdles to spoil this opportunity.
President Ghani said Khan Lala was not only a champion of peace in the region but also a symbol of unity of Pakhtuns. “Certainly, Afzal Khan was a great and sagacious leader,” the statement quoted him as saying.
Nightmare for Pakistan - revival of Pakhtun nationalism, as a result of the army action in KP province and /or FATA

Pakistan presents danger to entire world: NYT editorial
Urging world powers to persuade Pakistan to rein in its nuclear weapons programme, The New York Times editorial board wrote on Sunday that the country presents a danger to the entire world.(like a broken record, this mantra is repeated off and on, on all news items on Pakisatan :(( )
“The fact that Pakistan is also home to a slew of extremist groups, some of which are backed by a paranoid security establishment obsessed with India, only adds to the dangers it presents for South Asia and, indeed, the entire world,” the editorial read.
“Persuading Pakistan to rein in its nuclear weapons program should be an international priority. The major world powers spent two years negotiating an agreement to restrain the nuclear ambitions of Iran, which doesn’t have a single nuclear weapon. Yet, there has been no comparable investment of effort in Pakistan, which, along with India, has so far refused to consider any limits at all,” it added.
Forgetting that it was the US Govt, which turned a blind eye when the Pak Govt was "one screw driver away"-( Zia's words) from developing the first Islamic Bomb, as it wanted Pak's help in defeating the Soviets; and in the process also created monsters like Taliban, LET, Al -Qaeda etc etc; the whole world is now living with the short sighted policies of US Govt.
Regarding US striking a nuclear deal with Pakistan, the editorial board said, “What’s new about the administration’s approach is that instead of treating the situation as essentially hopeless, it is now casting about for the elements of a possible deal in which each side would get something it wants.”
“For the West, that means restraint by Pakistan and greater compliance with international rules for halting the spread of nuclear technology. For Pakistan, that means some acceptance in the family of nuclear powers and access to technology.

So, then, it can do its == claim and preserve its so-called Enchendee; what is the assurance that the "technology" will not be shared with the Chini Blothers.
Further, the board advised that Pakistan’s competition with India, which is also adding its own nuclear arsenal, is “a losing game” and the country’s allies such as China “should be pushing Pakistan to accept that.”
Tall order ; US should also bring Ummah patron (S.A.) into the picture; but then the Saudis also want the "of the shelf" nuclear option to counter its Shia rival Iran
“Meanwhile, Narendra Modi, India’s prime minister, has done nothing to engage Islamabad on security issues, and he also bears responsibility for current tensions. The nuclear arms race in South Asia, which is growing more intense, demands far greater international attention,” the editorial concluded.

So, the NYT also does an == and advise GOI to "engage" Pakistan under the shadow of nuclear blackmail :)

Immy Divorce - More Dirty Linen Now Coming Out From Closet
Imran divorced Reham over text amid furious rows: report
Even after its end, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan’s marriage is surrounded with as much controversy as it began with.
The cricketer-turned-politician announced his divorce to TV journalist Reham Khan last week in a move as unexpected as his marriage was and now speculations are rife as to why they both agreed to divorce just 10 months into the relationship.
According to British newspaper, Daily Mail, the marriage disintegrated “amid furious rows over everything from his friends to her attempts to ban his dogs from the bedroom.” (So, the Kaptaan was not aware that according to the "Book", these "unclean creatures " are not to be kept as pets  and the Mrs as a " good Islamic housewife" was merely implementing Islamic tenets .
Although both Imran and Reham insist they parted amicably and with mutual consent, a source told the Daily Mail that the marriage finally ended when Imran texted ‘talaq’ three times to Reham. The text is said to have been followed by a brief email.
As keeping with the times, use of modern technology and yet compliant to Islamic rules as per the Book
Reham, who received the message as she stepped off a plane that had taken her from Pakistan to Birmingham, is believed to have also received a confirmation call from Imran’s chief of staff.
So, it was a well planned process, like a political campaign, but not keeping with Immy's promise of "openness"
The source said, Imran’s decision to divorce Reham in such a manner was an attempt to counter any fightback from her. “I don’t think she would have leftut the house if she had any inkling that it was on the cards,” the source added.
Imran the politician showing his "true" colors.
Imran and Reham married in a low-key ceremony at his Bani Gala residence in January this year. However, insiders, say the divorced mother of three immediately set about taking over Imran’s hilltop house, telling friends it had been an “unruly and ill-disciplined household”.

House cleaning, staff sacking, gossip mongering etc etc to announce her "arrival" as the "New Bhabi" of the Household
Her first major change, it is alleged, was to throw Imran’s beloved pet dogs from his bedroom. “They were no longer allowed to sleep in their master’s inner sanctum or even be there during the daytime,” another source told the British newspaper. “Imran was upset when she had them shifted to a room outside the house and refused to budge despite his pleas,” the source added.
But as a "good Islamic wife", she was just enforcing Sharia Compliant edict in the house; what is wrong with that !
Further, the source continued, “Then the house was re-arranged to suit the needs of Reham’s youngest daughter who lived there, as well as the elder daughter and son, who often visited. Members of Reham’s family pretty much came and went as they pleased. On the other hand, Imran Khan’s nephews and nieces were made to feel unwelcome.”
So, in spite of living so many years in Londonistan, she did not imbibe the "western concept of fairness" and remained a Paki in her behaviour and habits
The paper quoted a family insider as saying, “Their home became a battleground because Reham was determined to control every aspect of Imran’s life.”
“She made his life a living hell. The wonder is that things dragged on for as long as they did. They argued over his habit of sharing his bedroom with his dogs, and her jealousy over his continued close relationship with Jemima Goldsmith, his ex-wife and the mother of his two sons,” the family source added.
Same Ditto Comments as above !
Further, Imran’s sisters who opposed his marriage to the TV journalist from the start refused to visit for as long as she was there.
Reham also divided opinion on the public stage and upset party members with her ambition for a leading role in party politics.
Not to mention that the Deep State- Ex Head also played a part in this sordid affair.
On Saturday, Reham formally announced that divorce papers have been signed by her with her former husband. Contradicting the Daily Mail’s report, Reham said, “With a heavy heart we both decided before I left for England that it was best to part ways so our work commitments were not affected by our personal problems.”
During the announcement, Reham ruled out rumours of any agreement of a financial settlement as false. “It is unfortunate and condemnable how media has been indulging in unbecoming behavior and language,” she said.
My opinion: there appears to be some "secret arrangement" between Immy and his new Ex", so as to make the problem, she may cause in future to his political ambitions go away

Further, months after their marriage, it was found that Reham had not attended the Lincolnshire college as she had claimed on her personal website. She said she studied journalism at ‘North Lindsay College’ in Scunthorpe.
The PTI chairman and TV journalist confirmed their split on Twitter.
So, with this last chapter now closed, the Kaptaan has now hopefully salvaged his "good reputation", and again be in the "good books" of his first Ex and his two sons.

PS:If press reports are to be believed, The Aam Abduls of Pakiland still "adore" his first Ex (Jemima) inspite of her "not belonging to the Book"

They argued over his habit of sharing his bedroom with his dogs...
Hadith on dogs:
http://www.searchtruth.com/searchHadith ... =1&start=0

e.g.,
(17) Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "Whoever keeps a Dog, one Qirat of the reward of his good deeds is deducted daily, unless the Dog is used for guarding a farm or cattle."
Narrated Abu Talha: I heard Allah's Apostle saying; "Angels (of Mercy) do not enter a house wherein there is a Dog or a picture of a living creature (a human being or an animal)."
I'm a bit puzzled why the "family source" would be talking about the dispute about dogs. Like Jinnah's whiskey and ham sandwiches, wouldn't these be kept outside the public eye?

Guys, I am back after a month-long voluntary sabbatical respecting RamanaGaru's advice :-). Question I have for the gurus, with the unfortunate loss in Bihar, and with domestic opposition and their western masters piling it on ModiJi for being "communal" and even blaming ModiJi for what ails TSP as the above NYT editorial pukes, I am worried if ModiJi will change tack on TSP and resume "piss" talks and kirket etc? No doubt pressure is on ModiJi to take these decisions, but I hope he hangs tight and does not yield. Or at least drive a hard bargain with TSP's 3.5 that unless TSP delivers on terror, India, under his govt, will not budge. Any thoughts/opinions on this?
