The RSS-CPM conflict is a long-standing one. So many murders have taken place there. There has been a lull in the last few years but it seems to be re-starting now. I don't know anything specific about this case, but, the top ideology of the Communists is to eliminate anyone speaking for the majority religion in any country that they want to grab.

Bombs hurled at RSS-run seva kendra in Kerala - The Hindu
Country-made bombs were hurled at a seva kendra run by the RSS and at the residence of a BJP worker at Thalassery in the district [Kannur] in the wee hours of Wednesday. The incident comes a day after a RSS worker was hacked to death in the poll-bound state. Police said the bombs were hurled at around 1.45 a.m.

“Only a window pane was damaged. None were injured”, police sources said about the attack at the Jaganatha Mandiram Seva Kendra run by the RSS at Temple Gate in Thalassery in the district.

BJP worker’s house attacked

A bomb was also hurled at the house of Subramaniam, a BJP worker, damaging the compound wall, the sources said.

The incident comes after violence erupted in poll-bound Kerala as 27-year-old RSS worker, Sujit, was hacked to death in front of his aged parents in the district on Monday night.

While BJP had slammed CPI(M) for murder of Sujit, the Marxist party has denied it, saying it was the fallout of a local incident relating to insulting a girl. Police said the accused behind the murder have been identified and the arrests would be made soon.
The Kerala Police seem to be belittling the bombing for obvious reasons.

Is this true that JNU traitors organised a Indo-Pak Mushaira in the middle of Kargil and beat up 3 Army personnel inside the campus? If yes, all these leftist ******** should be killed as brutally as possible.
Correct. But that is not the only one -

Here is a list.
1. Geelani invited for a talk. All student organisation including NSUI defend him. ABVP alone protests.
2. Radicals form `JNU forum for war against People`. They post posters with worst anti India propaganda and conduct events.
3. The same forum organises a meet to `celebrate` murder of 75 police personnel in Dantewada. FIR filed. No police action.
4. JNU administration bans this forum. Left faculties & organisation pressure administration to withdraw the ban. Ban withdrawn.
5. Democratic Students Union, a leftist organistaion in JNU, defends beheading of a police personnel by naxalites.
6. AISA, which has two posts out of four in this years JNUSU and can be called a popular organisation in JNU reportedly supports and generates anti state propaganda pamphlets and leaflets.
7. Yakub Memon and Afzal Guru are declared martyrs. Afzal gurus martyrdom day is celebrated every year.

Partly on account of the RSS/BJP's potential largest vote bank being the CPM's primary current vote bank. It may sound odd, but that's how it is. Them voting for CPM has nothing to do with supporting atheist communist ideology.

These are two anti India statements by various organisations and individuals.

AISA and DSU are signatories to both.
AISA had won all the 4 seats in JNUSU elections last year. This year they have two out of four.

DSU is the organisation that oganised february 9 programme. Now everyone is trying to declare it a fringe group with only 10-15 members. While the rest of JNU of course is nationalist.

People with a conscience have been silenced in JNU mostly through discriminatoy promotions, false sexual harassment complaints etc. So no one wants to take these guys on.

Amitabh Kundu was the bigshot professor in CSRD in SSS in JNU. He filed a complaint against anti national pamphleteering by left organisations. Three years later, after his retirement, he was implicated in a false sexual harassment complaint and humiliated.

The current dean in SIS is Anuradha Chenoy, a leftist. She has become dean after K. Warikoo the previous dean and a non left person was implicated in another sexual harassment case.

The list is long. The anti national left is too entrenched in JNU.

Four SIMI fugitives nabbed in Odisha - The Hindu
SIMI activists escaped from Madhya Pradesh jail in 2013 - The Hindu
The four Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) fugitives were nabbed in Rourkela on Tuesday night after a three-hour-long operation conducted jointly by the tactical unit of Odisha’s Special Operation Group (SOG) and Telangana Police, a senior Home Ministry official said.

The exact role of the mother of one of the SIMI operatives, arrested along with them, and her antecedents were being ascertained, he said.

The operatives of the banned outfit had escaped from a jail in Madhya Pradesh’s Khandwa district in 2013 and police teams of multiple States had been looking for them since them.

A total of seven SIMI cadre had escaped from the jail. While one had surrendered the very next day, another was caught from Madhya Pradesh the same year and the other five had been at large since then.

While four were arrested on Tuesday, the fifth one, Aslam, was killed in an encounter with the Telangana Police on April 5, 2015 .

These men, led by Faisal, who was arrested after two months{The one mentioned above was killed when he tried to attack a policeman who wanted to do a routine check, IIRC. So, one killed, five arrested and one is still on the run. A good show by the Telengana ATS}, had escaped after scaling a 14-foot wall.

The SIMI activists, who hail from Madhya Pradesh, had been staying at the Rourkela house for the past three years by using a false identity. They were involved in SIMI activities in several States, including Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

They were staying in Rourkela to collect money through dacoity and other similar activities. Five guns and some ammunition were seized from the hideout.

The Afzal Guru link in recent terror attacks - Vijaita Singh, The Hindu
As investigations into the Pathankot airbase attack gathers pace, investigators say that the 2001 Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru has emerged as the common link in at least three attacks on police and Army camps along the Jammu-Pathankot highway in the past one year.

Afzal Guru was hanged in Tihar jail in 2013.

Investigators have found at least one more letter, written in Urdu, on the body of one of the four terrorists killed in Pathankot. It said the attacks were to avenge Afzal Guru. As reported earlier, an Urdu statement, written in English, was found in the vehicle belonging to SP Salwinder Singh the terrorists had used to reach the airbase on the night of December 31.

Similar letters were found on the bodies of the intruders gunned down during an attack on a police post at Rajbagh in Kathua, Jammu, on March 20, 2015 and those who attacked an Army camp in nearby Samba on March 21, 2015. All these places are located within 15-20 km of the Pakistan border and along National Highway 1A.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has found that Chawinda in Pakistan is directly connected to Bamiyal in Punjab, from where the terrorists are believed to have infiltrated into India.

India has said that Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), a Pakistan-based terrorist outfit, was behind the Pathankot attack. In the case of the other two incidents, no conclusions have been reached so far.

“Both the pieces of paper seized during the Pathankot operation had the same content,” said a senior NIA official. “The Urdu letter in English had Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) written on top of the page and it was signed by A.G.S (Afzal Guru Squad). This letter dated December 25, 2015, said the group had planned the attacks to avenge Afzal Guru. The other paper found tucked inside the jacket of one of the four terrorists said much the same thing. Only, this was written in Urdu.”

The NIA has been closely studying the similarities between the Pathankot and the Samba-Kathua attacks since it took over the investigations. An official said even the rifles used by the terrorists were similar in nature. An identical AK-47 rifle with an Under Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL) attached was seized by the J&K police during the Samba and Kathua attacks.

“Through these pieces of paper, they are trying to send out a message that the attacks were to seek revenge for Afzal Guru’s hanging. Similar pieces of paper have been found after all the three attacks. It cannot be a coincidence. There is a larger conspiracy behind it,” said an official.
And, here we have anti-nationals in JNU & Jadavpur Universities rasing pro-Afzal Guru slogans and media is unwilling to call them anti-national? What a pathetic situation.

IIRC, one of the attacks in Afghanistan on an Indian consulate around the time of Pathankot attack also had a reference to Afzal Guru with terrorists scribbling on the walls in the building they were holed up.

JNU event row: Absconding Umar Khalid’s call records suggest possible Kashmir link

http://www.indiatvnews.com/news/india/j ... 57739.html
Call records of two mobile numbers belonging to former JNU student leader Umar Khalid, believed to be the main organiser of the February 9 event at the varsity’s campus where alleged anti-India slogans were raised, have revealed that over 800 calls were made from his numbers between February 3 and 9, including some to Jammu and Kashmir.

Sources told India TV that of these 800-odd calls made during the period, 38 calls were made to Jammu & Kashmir. A total of 65 calls were received on Khalid’s numbers from J&K as well.

The details have emerged from the ongoing investigation being carried out by the Delhi police as they intensified their search for the former leader of the Democratic Students’ Union (DSU).

India TV has learnt that most of the calls made to J&K from Khalid's numbers were to three particular numbers, while 4-5 calls were made to another number. While one number has been traced to an individual at the Central University of Kashmir located in Ganderbal, three other numbers belong to different persons.

A scan of the call records also shows that many calls have been made to numbers outside Delhi, spanning across different cities. Calls have also been made and received from Gulf countries and even Bangladesh, call records revealed.

Call details of Khalid’s numbers for the past two months further point that the frequency of calls to these numbers suddenly increased since the last week of December, which is when the police suspect the preparations for the February 9 event to have actually begun.

Khalid allegedly went absconding after the arrest of JNUSU President Kanhaiya Kumar on charges of sedition. His mobile phone has also been switched off since Kumar’s arrest.

Names of both Kumar and Khalid feature in the FIR registered in the case. According to sources, the search for Khalid, a Phd student from the School of Social Sciences, has now intensified with the police extending its operations beyond Delhi to other states as well.

Call records of Khalid, a native of Bihar, reveal that the two numbers were on roaming 17 times in the past one month, with locations spanning across various cities. Investigators suspect that during such periods, Khalid was meeting people at other universities in order to mobilise support.

However, there are no records of Khalid’s numbers being on roaming in J&K, indicating that he did not visit the state during the past two months.

Meanwhile, the search for Khalid is now gathering pace, with the police having conducted raids at 80 locations in ten states based on inputs from the Intelligence Bureau. Besides Delhi (17 locations), West Bengal (six), Bihar (12), Kerala (10), J&K (eight), Maharashtra (seven), UP (12), Chhattisgarh (three), Karnataka (five) and Odisha (three) are the states where the search operations are being carried out so far.

A total of 13 teams of the Delhi police are involved in the search for Khalid. While eight teams were formed initially, five more teams have been tasked with the search operations in the past two days. As more raids continue in connection with the search, police forces from other states have also been roped in to assist the search operations.

A total of 24 people including family members, friends and relatives of Khalid, have been questioned by the police in the case so far. Khalid’s name has been added to the list of absconders. Airports have been alerted and his photographs have also been shared with forces that are keeping a sharp eye on bus stands and railway stations as well.

Investigators have also recovered Khalid’s laptop and are scanning the emails and other content for leads. The police are also said to be ascertaining in their probe whether Khalid received funding from anti-national elements through Kashmiri separatists. The investigators believe that more details could come to light as the probe progresses.

NSA MK Narayanan Knew that Ishrat was a LeT operative
Headley’s deposition also provided some verisimilitude to rumours circulating at the time that the LeT was planning another attack post-26/11. Again, in reply to a leading question from the prosecutor, Headley also identified Ishrat Jahan as a terrorist belonging to the LeT (since her death in a police encounter in Gujarat in 2004, there had been many attempts to portray her as an innocent victim). Intelligence agencies, however, were aware that she was an LeT operative, and a key figure in a carefully planned LeT operation. The operational trail went from Pakistan to Dubai, Kochi, Kashmir and finally Ahmedabad. Headley provided neither names nor any details regarding this operation. His sole reason for identifying Ishrat as an LeT operative, it would seem, was to give a propaganda advantage to the LeT. The most glaring omission in Headley’s deposition was his unwillingness to identify Sayed Zabiuddin Ansari alias Abu Jundal, currently languishing in an Indian prison.

Any half decent human with an iota of professional ethics would have simply put in papers to retire with head held high in front of thousands of men and women he served with. The witch hunt occurred during his tenure as the NSA.

IF MKN knew about Rahul Bhatt as a DCH mole, what did he do to unearth others? Its was solely when he was NSA that the fiction that DCH operated without nay local help was created and he now whines about DCH not revealing his helpers.
Add to his having remained passive oversight during the witch hunt of his IB juniors by political operatives.

As NSA he did nothing to stop it.

I think in the end he enabled the creation of red-herring of 'saffron terror' which diverted the focus from Pakistani terrorists and thus helped 26/11 attack.

If not appointees of the political parties who won the mandate, who else is supposed to foist such a candidate? If the bureaucracy is neutral then I don't why it matters if NSA is a political appointee or not. In fact, SSMenon was a bigger disaster than MKN in the NSA's post, AFAICT.

MKN did a lot for the country during his stint as director of IB and NSA. There were MANY times he capitulated to the family but he was still much better than that buffoon Shiv Shankar Menon. This idiot was so oblivious to national security affairs that Hambantota port was constructed by the Chinese right under his nose and even had the gall to play down water security at a major conference. Had anyone else been a stooge during MKN's golden years as IB director and NSA, we would've suffered a lot more. I do think he should be investigated but in the murky world of politics and intelligence its possible that he may have gone along with it to remain in place and safeguard the larger national interest. Chidu hated this man and made sure that he was booted out for this reason so that he could take the reins of the security and intelligence apparatus. Remember it MKN who cautioned MMS against joint statement at Sharm al- Sheikh and later shielded him (cant find the tv interview now), provisions in the nuclear deal, and suggested that Gujarat have its own anti-terror law.

MKN seems to believe in Management by Intimidation.
And what did it get?
He got us 26/11 on his watch.
Earlier Rajiv Gandhi was killed while he was IB director.

P Chidambaram is a white collar criminal, nothing less. That he actually was MHA and tried to politicize the NIA to screw non congress states and foist "hindu terrorism" activity is one of his lesser crimes, compared to the financial fraud he has indulged in over the decades. Somehow >30% of all Indian FDI came flowing in through Mauritius when he got anointed finance minister, every time.

The Ishrat File - Openthemagazine

I am truly shocked  .
There was an air of urgency about Kapil Sibal, Union minister for Law and Justice and IT. Ahmed Patel, Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s right-hand man, was there too. The fourth person in the room was former CBI special director Saleem Ali. They were all waiting for Ranjit Sinha, then CBI director, known for his scheming ways. Sinha arrived late, knowing well that political winds had already signalled a power shift in Delhi. Ali was ready to play ball with the trio, and one of them suggested that Kumar had to be ‘tackled’ to incriminate Shah in the Ishrat Jehan case. By the time Sinha arrived, he had to confront four equally zealous people plotting a political conspiracy—Kumar was the top target. But their aims were higher, designed to eliminate potential political threats. Sinha, however, refused to yield to a minister’s goading: arrest Kumar and beat him up. The minister was persistent and Sinha equally defiant.
..........
The CBI chargesheet against Kumar, however, was destined to keep the issue alive. Before he appeared before the agency, a senior IB officer had told him “to keep shut” in case he wanted to retire with all the perks typically enjoyed by retired IB officers. Kumar doesn’t elaborate on this, but only suggests that the senior officer may have meant that he shouldn’t talk about other murky deals he was aware of.

For an officer who has been recommended for various medals and rated as an excellent professional by former Home Minister and Congress leader P Chidambaram himself, Kumar was shocked by such treatment.

Hi Bhurishrava,

what is the difference, as far as JNU is concerned, between DSU and All India Students Federation? Are they really different or its just for the convenience (like 'but the DSU did it and AISF has nothing to do with it')? Do they work in tandem at some issues?
Also, what were the activities of AISF/Kanhaiya in the past couple of years in general?

AISA and DSU are Naxal outfits while AISF/SFI are CPI/CPIM. Over the last few years JNUSU has shifted towards the Naxals from the regular Communists. Intelligence agencies may have been keeping a watch and decided to act now.

Time to gather enough evidence to implicate Ahmed Patel with evidence and make deal with him. Looks like even Rajiv Gandhi used to be afraid. Won't be surprised if he plotted with $ONIA on the assassination

I wouldn't say last few years alone. Ask any administrative work chap. They have been very active over a decade. For them CPI is a liberal party.
