Controversial Application Used To Steal Personal Data From Indian Army Personnel Removed From Play Store
Apps being used for purposes that are less than noble is a common occurrence. However, the use of technology for peace time espionage hit a new low as Google has forcibly removed SmeshApp, from the Play Store. The app was reportedly being used by Pakistani intelligence agencies to spy upon Indian Army personnel.
As per reports coming in from various sources, the spyware was removed by Google, after it was discovered that the app was being used to collect crucial information from the devices being used by army personnel.
...data was apparantly siphoned off via this app may have been responsible for a data leak that occurred right after the Pathankot terror attack as well.
Apparently, agencies operating out of Pakistan, managed to do this via social networking, by taking help of a trick known as the honeytrap. These agencies set up a bunch of fake accounts on Facebook and started adding up soldiers in their friend list. While some may have declined the request coming from unknown women, others, flattered perhaps, accepted it. What’s more, these accounts were carefully created to appear legitimate as well as patriotic and indeed, had ex-soldiers in their contacts list. (Deep State Shenanigans ?)
The app was able to collect quite a bit of information, including that associated with troop movement in the aftermath of the cowardly attack on Pathankot, before a CNN-IBN led Investigation revealed it for a spyware. The app was available on the PlayStore until late last night.
As per a statement issued by Google, right after it removed the app,
Meanwhile, most experts are of the opinion that a central Defense system dealing with these attempts along with an increase in personal awareness and diligence on part of Defense personnel may be what’s needed to counter espionage acts — acts which have become much easier, thanks to the inclusion of technology into every aspect of our daily lives.

Two soldiers killed in rare gunfight in Gilgit-Baltistan

Two soldiers and three militants were killed in an exchange of fire during an intelligence-based raid on a militant hideout near Chillas town of Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B) on Thursday, the military’s media wing, ISPR, said.“Three wanted terrorists were killed by security forces in a successful IBO in Tarel valley in village Gayyal near Chillas in Gilgit-Baltistan today,” a statement issued by the ISPR said. The military’s media wing further claimed that the suspects killed during the raid were involved in attacks on civil transport, tourists and security forces on the Karakoram Highway (KKH). “Two security forces personnel also embraced shahadat (martyrdom) in exchange of fire,” it added.Meanwhile, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to arrest the remaining suspects. The statement did not mention which group the militants belonged to, but the Chilas district is a known stronghold of Sunni extremist outfits such as the Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.Last night, at least five terrorists were killed during an ensuing gun battle with security forces after suspects launched a raid on a military check post in Khyber Agency. “Five terrorists were killed in exchange of fire with security forces in Darmu Drab Pass, Khyber Agency. Troops valiantly responded and foiled terrorists’ attempt,” ISPR said. The incident comes two days after Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif confirmed death sentences of 13 ‘hardcore militants’, including one involved in the killing foreign tourists in Nanga Parbat.

A cruel share-out

There can be no clearer example of the way in which the PML-N government discriminates in favour of the province of Punjab in the distribution of the annual development budget that is used at the discretion of parliamentarians. Punjab is allocated a vastly disproportionate share compared to all other provinces. The amount allocated to Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) and Balochistan is less than that allocated to Islamabad, a city with a population of less than two million. More than half of the total Rs19 billion has gone to Punjab. Balochistan, by far the most under-developed of the provinces, got 2.3 per cent or Rs445 million — little more than chicken-feed in the overall picture of development funding. To the surprise of some observers, K-P fared little better getting Rs480 million or 2.5 per cent. Sindh got 4.2 per cent of the funding.

That there is something fundamentally wrong with the proportions of allocation would be obvious to a primary school student — even a primary school student in a government school. If this was a government truly committed to the development of the entire nation, then the proportions would have been a more equitable reflection of true development needs rather than the political ambitions of the PML-N, which is cementing its vote bank for the next election. The allocation speaks of wildly discriminatory behaviour, both for and against, and feeds directly into the inter-provincial rivalries that so bedevil the task of nation-building.

If anything, the allocations to Punjab should have been halved for several years in order to allow other provinces a reasonable chance of ‘catching up’ — but that would have been a step in the direction of true equity that the PML-N was never likely to make. There are any number of arguments presented as to why Punjab should get the lion’s share of any money on the table; but unless the sitting government is willing to use positive discrimination in the formula for funding allocation, then other provinces are always going to be the losers. They will never develop the capacity to effectively spend development funds and will forever be beggars. Shameful — but we expected neither less nor different.

Comment : This is the reason for not carrying out a proper "Census Survey" as the True Population figures will lessen the Proportion of Pakjab as compared to the other Provinces.

Musharraf leaves for Dubai to 'seek medical treatment'
KARACHI: Former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf left for Dubai early Friday morning,...
Before leaving, Musharraf told a DawnNews correspondent, "I am a commando... (the boasting never stops !)
Musharraf said he was going abroad to seek "medical treatment of a decade-old illness which has now developed several complications."(if he had given "less TV interviews", his situation would have been much better !)
Musharraf, who is facing a treason trial for clamping emergency in the country on Nov 3, 2007, was barred from travelling abroad after his name was placed on the ECL on Apr 5, 2013.
The former dictator is scheduled to record his statement to a special three-judge court on Mar 31 in the treason case against him.
Now, a "foreign medical certificate" will be provided seeking exemption from such a court order.

Reham Khan - Immy's Ex - In India To Attend A Conference
NEW DELHI: Pakistan TV journalist Reham Khan has gone to India to attend a Conclave organized by the India Today Group.
Reham,(ex weather reporter and gold digger!) former wife of cricketer-cum-politician Imran Khan, crossed the border at Wagah and then passed through Amritsar where she paid her respects at the Golden Temple.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistani religious scholar Dr. Tahirul Qadri is also in New Delhi to attend International Sufi Conference. (So, the Canadian based [Shopping Mall] Maulvi classes himself as a Sufi !)
While Reham’s ex-husband and chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan is also expected to fly to India to watch Pakistan-India World T20 match in Kolkata.
Qadri and Imran jointly had led the anti-government protests in mid-2014 aimed at toppling the government.

‘Lack of substance’ preventing Putin’s visit to Pakistan, says Russian ambassador
(May be Meeting can be held in Damascus)
ISLAMABAD: Moscow believes that there are still not enough reasons to justify Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Islamabad.“The problem is that usually the purpose of the visit is not participation in ceremonies. The visit should have some substance,” Russian Ambassador Alexey Dedov said at the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad (ISSI), where he was delivering a lecture on Pak-Russia relations.“As soon as the substance is ready we can discuss the visit,” he said. ( Hum Intajaar karenge Kayamat Tuk,Allah Kare Ki Kyamat Ho Owr Putin Aayye)
Mr Dedov defined the substance as “signing of documents” for cooperation, “preparation of plans” for expanding ties, and “declarations”.No Russian or even Soviet president has ever visited Pakistan. President Putin had planned a visit to Islamabad in October 2012 for attending a quadrilateral summit between Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Afghanistan, but cancelled it at the eleventh hour.Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov was then hastily dispatched to Islamabad to explain the cancellation.
Despite the perceived lack of incentive for taking the relationship to a higher plane, Moscow has, nevertheless, kept Pakistan engaged because of strategic and political compulsions, particularly the evolving situation in Afghanistan, terrorism concerns and anti-narcotics collaboration. He cited the geostrategic position of Pakistan and challenges and interests shared by the two countries as the motivation for Moscow to work for better and stronger bilateral relations. The two countries are also close to resolving a longstanding economic dispute that led to freezing of Russian assets worth $120 million in Pakistan. A draft agreement has been initialled and a final accord is likely soon. The row was a major obstacle to economic cooperation between the two countries.“Pre-requisites have been met.… the foundation has been laid and there are chances of success,” Mr Dedov observed.“Technical issues related to delivery of helicopters are being discussed now, which may require time,” Mr Dedov said about the helicopters’ sale describing it as a “pilot deal”. He hoped that the cooperation (military hardware export) would develop. Russia is also supporting Pakistan’s entry into Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO).The diplomat said that Moscow was also focusing on creating a positive atmosphere in South Asia (in a reference to India-Pakistan ties) and believes that the SCO could provide the platform for fostering confidence and cooperation between Delhi and Islamabad.Mr Dedov said that the upcoming SCO meeting in Tashkent would provide a good opportunity for a meeting between President Putin and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. The two leaders last met on the sidelines of the SCO summit in Ufa in July 2015.

The Chinese are the only ones who will beat the Evil Forces of the Pieceful Religion in General and the Denizens of the Land of the Pure and Home of the Terrorists in Particular.

Please keep in mind that the 95% Muslim Population of Xinjiang - when the Chinese took over in 1949 has now been reduced to 40% - 45% and the continuous Hannization of Xingiang will reduce it to an even more manageable level.

Nawaz surrenders to Gen Musharraf

ISLAMABAD: Nawaz Sharif Thursday surrendered to General Musharraf but in the process made a mockery of the Constitution and rule of law.

The government’s decision to give a safe exit to the dictator has served as a cruel joke, and badly exposed the hollowness of the system which has proved yet again that it protects the powerful and mighty but punishes the weak and vulnerable.

Irony is that the Supreme Court on Wednesday cleared the judiciary’s hurdles for Musharraf’s exit from Pakistan and threw the ball in the Nawaz Sharif government’s court to decide the matter. On Thursday, Nawaz regime allowed Musharraf to leave Pakistan, arguing that it has been done in the light of the apex court order.

The SC had, though upheld SHC verdict of removing former military ruler’s name from ECL, clearly said that this order would not preclude the federal government from passing any legal order for regulating Musharraf’s custody or restricting his movement.

“Why don’t you take an independent decision by regulating the movement of the accused,” the chief justice was quoted by the The News to have asked the attorney general. The CJP added that if the Federation thinks that the respondent (Musharraf) should not leave the country then it should decide the matter independently.

A day later on Thursday, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, while announcing government’s decision to allow Musharraf to leave Pakistan, argued that the government has permitted Pervez Musharraf to travel abroad in the light of Supreme Court orders. He said that the Supreme Court’s decision should be acceptable to all.

All the hurdles and impediments are clear now for General Musharraf to fly abroad. It’s a case of the utter failure of the system, which has proved that it has no strength to try even a former dictator. The fragility of system is such that an accused of the most serious crime of hi-treason, the person wanted by different courts and who’s arrest warrants have even been issued, is allowed to fly out of Pakistan for treatment.

Such a luxury of treatment abroad for an influential accused of hi-treason, murder etc. can only be possible in a poor country like Pakistan where a petty thief is put behind jail for years without even a court verdict and does hardly have any health facility.

Interestingly, Musharraf through his counsel has assured both the judiciary and the executive that he would come back as soon as he gets recovered. But there is no one around, including even Musharraf’s counsel, who guarantees that he will return and face the trial. In case he does not come back, and one believes he will not, who will be held accountable? No one.

So, the situation is that Musharraf has succeeded to escape from his trial. He has proved that he belongs to the class that is always considered above the law. Our judiciary and the executive had the opportunity to uphold the principle of rule of law, and this has been the most suitable case to focus on. Unfortunately, it has not been done.

Despite his tall claims in the past, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif might have now surrendered to Musharraf with a view that it would strengthen his government and please the military establishment. In reality, he has furthered weakened himself and left the door wide open for future military interventions.

Karachi-Gwadar Ferry Service To Start In March
The Ministry of Shipping and Ports is all set for the inauguration and start of Pakistan’s first Ferry Service. This venture includes facilitation of cargo, passengers and special trips for tourists. In a bid to revive Baluchistan’s tourism, this step seems extremely handy for several reasons.
The trip from Karachi to Gwadar will be inaugurated next month by Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif. After the increase of security in and around the Gwadar Port, it seems the government is now ready to slot CPEC in order. Gwadar Port, which is seen as the future of Pakistan, will now facilitate at least 400 passengers from Karachi, in addition to the large cargo vessel.
It will be interesting to see how the Baloch Nationalists will react to this- which will obviously result in "further colonization" of their territory !
The unconventional ferry, first of its kind in Pakistan, will take around 13 hours to reach Gwadar from Karachi. The ferry offers one of its kind healthcare services, a high-profiled cafeteria and other basic facilities ( ie armed guards on duty - 24/7 ?) to make the trip worthwhile. The ferry will run between the two ports for 3 days a week, as well as on weekends.

Esteemed B-Rfites,

Turkey is not a subject of this Thread. However, if the Word “Turkey” is substituted with “Pakistan & Bangladesh” then this Article will become Relevant to the Dangers to which the Nation of India will suffer if it ever agrees to Visa Free Travel between India and Cwapistan – Cwapadesh :

Cameron warned Turkey EU membership will be 'catastrophic' for Britain

DAVID Cameron has come under huge pressure to use the British veto to block attempts to make Turkey a member of the EU.

On the eve of the Prime Minister attending a crucial European Council summit in Brussels, he has been sent a letter from former shadow Home Secretary David Davis, warning that Britain is “walking blindly" into accepting Turkey as an EU member.

And the former Europe minister has claimed the “irreversible" consequences will be “catastrophic" for Britain.

Mr Davis says that the “proposals pose a major threat to national security" adding that “it is troubling that accession talks have been accelerated despite Turkey's “decline into a state of crisis".

The issue of Turkey has already been described as “the game changer" in the EU referendum with the threat of mass migration to the UK greater than anything that has happened before.

Mr Davis, who is the Conservative lead on Grassroots Out (GO), also wants Mr Cameron to try to persuade the Schengen free travel zone countries not to give Turkey visa free access.

He has also demanded that the Prime Minister ends Britain's support for Turkey to join the EU raising fears that it will damage the UK's security.

The letter, which has received high level backing – including from Ukip leader Nigel Farage – comes a week after EU government heads struck a deal with Turkey to give it free access to Schengen countries and accelerate its membership of the EU.

Following the summit Downing Street admitted Turkey could be a member of the EU by the end of the decade which would lead to its 77 million citizens being allowed into the UK unrestricted. The real Figures of Cwapistani and Cwapadeshi Populations is about 225 -250 Million & 200 Million respectively

Mr. Davis points out that “democracy, human rights and the rule of law have diminished" since Recep Erdagon's regime took power which has led to police, public officials and journalists all having been arrested for criticising the government.

He also warns that Turkey is “moving in a dangerous direction embracing Islam and moving in a direction inconsistent with Western values."

He also points out that even giving Turkey access to the Schengen area increases the chances of Isis terrorists coming to the UK.

He said: “While the proposals will not give Turks visa-free travel to the UK, it will allow them the opportunity to come within 25 miles of our borders at a time of unprecedented attempts to cross the Channel illegally."

Mr Davis points out that Turkey is “an under-developed economy" which means membership is likely to trigger mass migration to the UK.

And he tells Mr Cameron: “I urge you to withdraw your support for Turkey's accession."

Backing the letter, Ukip leader Nigel Farage said: “Granting visa-free Schengen travel to Turkish citizens is a huge threat to the UK.

“Every day there are attempts by immigrants to enter Britain illegally and this will make this situation much worse.

“The Prime Minister wants Turkey to join the EU which is the opposite of what the British public want.

He added: “Mr Cameron must make it clear, does he want to open our borders to 77 million Turks or not."

Four injured as groups clash over mosque ‘ownership’ in Karachi's DHA
KARACHI:
At least four people were injured after a clash erupted following a dispute between two religious groups claiming possession of a mosque in Phase VII of Karachi’s DHA late Thursday night.
“The clash between two groups occurred when one party forcibly infiltrated Umer Bin Abdul Aziz Masjid in DHA Phase VII, claiming to have taken over the mosque’s administration,” officials of the Gizri police told The Express Tribune on Friday.
The mosque, which was earlier managed by the Ahle Hadis sect, was cordoned by the police with neither party being allowed to take control of it.
Islamism in Pakiland, is nothing to do with "religion" per se; it is all about seizing economic advantage and how to use Malsi to make a living !

Wonder what is wrong with
* VISA arrangement and how is it against human rights issues as it is.
* Migration from Turkey will prolly have more effect in EU than current migration/refugee crisis anyway.
* Eventually if refugees who want to go back to Syria, what about rest of immigrants who just paid someone to ride a boat across the Mediterranean without any genuine reason.

Over a quarter of a million Pakistani workers deported since 2013
ISLAMABAD:
Over a quarter of a million Pakistanis have been deported from 125 countries since 2013 when the PML-N government swept to power, the National Assembly was told on Thursday.
So, it is not just a few countries, but almost the full United Nations, who are united against the Pakis "special" reputation
Some 140,393 or more than half of all the Pakistanis deported during this period were from Saudi Arabia. The United Arab Emirates accounted for 23,330 explusions — the second highest number of Pakistani deportations. (Pakis are reserved for special treatment by their "Ummah Blothers" ; the Kuwaitis are avoiding their breathen like the plague by declining them visas !)
Other countries that deported a significant number of Pakistanis include South Africa, Thailand, Turkey, Russian Federation, Germany and Bahrain.
MNA Sajida Begum asked Marriyum Aurangzeb if the Pakistani deportees were sent back without any logical reason. The parliamentary secretary replied that among the several reasons for deportation was illegal documentation, overstay, passport and other issues. “Nobody is deported without any reason,” she said.
There is a "booming" consultancy market in Pakiland whose sole purpose is facilitating the "export" of Paki bodies to foreign shores by taking advantage of "foreign visa loopholes" (eg. country X - student visa convertible to resident visa ; country Y; Pakis dont need a visa to enter country ) ; unfortunately, due to their expertise in the other IT  , such loopholes have now disappeared !

Paki Journo Lambastes Mullah Brigade
Holy fathers…the search for relevance
Islamabad diary
The assorted alliance of holy fathers – various religious outfits subscribing to their own brands of irrelevance – have held out a threat to the Punjab government to withdraw or suitably amend the women’s protection law recently passed by the Punjab Assembly or face the consequences.
So, the said legislation only applies to Pakjab province, where there is an epidemic of honour killings, sexual abuse, tomcatting rights and other "assorted liberties" against the fair sex !
Some clerics, more imaginative than their colleagues, smell a conspiracy to turn Pakistan into a secular republic. If only this were true this would be something to celebrate. But said clerics are allowing their imaginations to run wild. No such conspiracy is likely to arise for the next hundred years.
The late Maulana Kausar Niazi ( who was himself "fond" of the haram liquid ) had it about right when he said that this was a nation of sinful Musalmans, staunchly faithful to the outward tenets of the faith, and brooking not the slightest deviation from them, but carrying on with their lives in a practical manner. :P
This precisely is the problem of the holy fathers and their religious parties. The pulpit is theirs as is the loudspeaker, once spoken of as an invention of the devil, now an indispensable part of their spiritual apparatus. But try as they will – and their nuisance power is not to be underestimated – their voting power remains laughably limited. So to discover relevance for themselves they are reduced to championing not just lost causes but causes that no one in his right mind can take seriously.
If, the mullah brigade ever comes to power in Pakiland, this zaminder/journo/ex -Fauji will be the first to feel the heat in his native town of Chakwal
The Islamic firmament’s only nuclear power has its nukes in safe custody. But it lacks control over the loudspeaker and it has absolutely no control over the plastic menace threatening to overrun its rivers, its water courses, its open fields and its valleys. From the Himalayan glaciers to the sea there is no place, no hidden corner, safe from the loudspeaker’s assault on the senses and the plastic shopper’s destructive invasion of the environment.
There is a national command authority for our nukes and missiles. More useful would be a national command authority to deal with the sound and plastic menaces.
So, he has narrowed down Pakiland problems to two causes, plastic pollution and noise (loudspeaker) pollution !
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif woke up to the shame of so-called ‘honour killings’ after watching Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy’s documentary which went on to win an Oscar award. Maybe if Ms Obaid-Chinoy gets to make a film on the shopper someone in a position to make a difference will wake up to the plastic threat that Pakistan faces.
Abbaji also listened to his daughter, who is the unofficial spokesman spokesperson for the fair sex in Pakistan !
Operation Zarb-e-Azb, the military’s all-out assault on religion-fuelled militancy, is the defining event of Pakistan today, not that the armchair samurai who are democracy’s stoutest defenders would readily admit this. If it hadn’t happened Pakistan was on its way to becoming another Iraq or Syria. If we recall how Pakistan stood in trembling fear of the Taliban just two years ago, this seems not too fanciful a conclusion.
True to form, this ex Captain of the Paki Fauj is cheering his past employer, without regard to the civilian damage and/or internal displacement/ alienation caused because of this operation/ bombardment
All that is over. The army is fighting its own jihad, one in which the ‘jihadis’ of the Afghan ‘jihad’ are now its enemies. And the PPP no longer counts. Once upon a time in the ISI’s hall of fame it was considered a national security threat. Hence anything done against the PPP was considered akin to a religious duty. History and the passage of time have taken care of those considerations.
So the holy fathers despite their numbers and their powerful loudspeakers suddenly find themselves unemployed, so to speak. The great themes around which they coalesced – ‘jihad’ and the supposed danger of the PPP – have disappeared. Instead of being courted and made much of they are reduced to manufacturing relevance for themselves.
This they are doing by such events as the hanging of Mumtaz Qadri, the pie-in-the-sky declarations that Pakistan is being turned into a secular state and by such non-events as the women’s protection law which desperate clerics are trying to paint as an attack on Islam.
Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman is humoured by the PML-N leadership because the Maulana leaves no one in any doubt that his overriding desire is to be humoured.
The "revered maulana" -who has always been a publicity seeker - has considerable clout in his home province of KP, but alas no political power thanks to Immy ! so he is now "dabbling" in Pakjabi provincial politics and helping the other "holy fathers" in their quest to keep that province "Islamic" by overturning the Women Protection Act
One distinction amongst the religious parties has to be made. Professor Hafiz Muhammad Saeed is different from the rest of them. His concerns are not those of the other holy fathers. His calling is different…of which perhaps some other time.
Hafiz- Suar - a different sort of animal "holy father" !

Musharraf won’t come back till the situation improves
The former general’s eagerness to get rid of the ordeal he is facing in Pakistan, also because of his health problems, was immensely clear from the fact that he instantly packed his bags to fly abroad a few hours after the apex court order.
So, his "bombastic" statement that he is a commando, etc etc were the "usual hot air"

Member of the Nehru-Gandhi family led Congress Party, Shashi Tharoor ,on holding “uninterrupted and uninterruptible” talks with the Mohammadden Terrorist fomenting Islamic Republic of Pakistan:

"We can't have uninterrupted talks with Pakistan as Mani Shankar Aiyar suggests. If the military and ISI unleash Lashkar-e-Taiba in Mumbai and other cities, we should interrupt talks. We can't talk to people who cannot control their nationals," …………………. "Its surrendering our self-respect by saying we will talk to you even if your people are coming and killing us,"

X Posted from the “Oppression of Minorities In Pakistan” thread.

Notwithstanding claims by Mohammaddens that there is no forced conversion in their religion as the text of the Koran which is deemed holy by them apparently says “"There is no compulsion in religion", a ghastly reminder of the horrors of being a Non-Mohammadden “Dhimmi” “Kaafir” minority in Mohammadden majority countries such as the Islamic Republic of Pakistan:

X Posted from the Balwaristan thread.

Meanwhile, in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, books on ‘Azadi’ continue to be banned : Sixteen books were banned last month by the government of PoK. The situation is the same in Gilgit-Baltistan, where any talk of azadi means charges of sedition. :

This circus of civilians collapsing to not antagonize coup loving jihadi army is not new. It is not a normal country. Whoever is selling dreams of 'pakis as a normal country' needs to be asked this again and again.

arun Ji :
Being a typical Congressi Shashi Tharoor has also said in the above article :
Suggesting a solution to the tangle, Tharoor said that both countries should increase people to people contact. "We should try to change the stakes in Pakistan by dramatically opening up people-to-people contact. Let us be generous with visas for writers, diplomats, and businessmen," he said.
All we BR-Fites do is highlight the danger on this Forum of being flooded with Terrorists in the Garb of students, sick patients seeking free medical treatment, writers, diplomats, and businessmen etc. etc & etc. - and very rightly so.

IMO it would help immensely if a reasonable amount of our members write to such Leaders-Writers- Opinion Makers of the above dangers by writing to such leaders - in this case at :

office@tharoor.in and shashi.tharoor@nic.in.

I trust a number of us will write to Sashi Tharror.

Meantime - World T20 News :

PAK 118/5 (18.0 Ovs), IND 119/4 (15.5 Ovs) - India won by 6 wkts (Reduced to 18 overs due to rain)

Bharat Mata Ki Jai.

Multan: Cockroach found in drip being administered to 1 year old

MULTAN (Dunya News) – A cockroach was found in a drip that was being administered to 1 year old Aqsa in Multan’s Nishtar hospital. Despite the blatant negligence, the hospitals administration was seen engaged in covering up the incident.
According to the details, Aqsa, a resident of Muzzaffarabad, was brought to Nishtar hospital on account of an infection she was suffering.
The hospital staff administered her drip which had a cockroach inside it. Aqsa’s family upon realization of the grave negligence notified the staff upon which the nurses on duty removed the drip however Aqsa’s condition deteriorated.
The young child’s family demanded action against the culprits, however the administration of the hospital turned a blind eye to the incident and was seen busy in covering up their serious negligence.

Mushy Fakes Illness - starts political activities in Dubai !
Medical check-up cancelled; former dictator appeared relaxed in flight; used stairs instead of Ambo Lift to get on plane; enjoyed music in flight
Maybe, TV interviews were also given
DUBAI: Former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf has reached Dubai after he left Pakistan on early Friday morning. He flew from the Karachi airport on Emirates flight EK-611 and restarted his political activities in Dubai, Geo News and other TV channels have reported.
The medical check-ups in the UAE have been called off for the time being (Shameless commando ! now his "poor lawyers", who stuck their neck out for him, will be facing the wrath from the Paki establishment) .Musharraf was brought to the Karachi airport amidst tight security. Back pain might have restricted the retired general from making court appearances but when his convoy pulled up next to the aircraft on the tarmac, he was said to have been well enough to use the stairs instead of an Ambo Lifter. “He was the last person to embark on the plane and then the gate was closed,” an airport source said, adding the retired general appeared ‘relaxed’ as he enjoyed music during the flight.
...as General (retd) Pervez Musharraf climbed up  (what happened to the back "problem" !) the service stairs on the jet-bridge to board the plane
When the flight landed in Dubai, about two dozen APML supporters had gathered there to receive their leader. Their wait was fruitless as another VVIP convoy pulled up next to the aircraft on the tarmac to receive and take away Pervez Musharraf.
Soon after his arrival in the UAE, Pervez Musharraf started his political activities as an All Pakistan Muslim League (APML), UAE chapter, meeting had already been summoned. Musharraf is expected to preside over the meeting at his residence.
“I am going abroad for treatment but will return to face the cases against me,” a party spokesman quoted him as saying. “I am a commando. I love my motherland.” Dr Amjad Malik, a spokesman for Musharraf’s All Pakistan Muslim League party, said in Dubai that six to eight weeks were required for the treatment and then Musharraf would go back home.
Other juicy details to follow !

Sunny P,

Shocking that the BJP led Government of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has seen fit to grant a visa to an individual like Shaikh Rasheed Ahmad who has an established record of aiding and abetting terrorism targeting India  .

Falijee,

Meanwhile Deutsche Welle seems to have woken up to the fact that the Uniformed Jihadi’s of the Punjabi dominated Military of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan are above the law.

Musharraf's departure proves Pakistani military is above the law : The fact that former ruler Pervez Musharraf could leave Pakistan despite serious cases against him proves the army considers itself above the law, experts say. An opportunity to assert civilian supremacy has been lost.:

I couldn't see the match, but read in newspapers this morning that there was a felicitation before the match in which the jihadi Imran Khan participated. There was a great spectacle of this felicitation apparently. Does every T20 match have this kind of felicitation or was this done only for the India-Pakistan match? It is already disappointing that a person who wants India to be dismembered was allowed to speak on Indian soil (though this is not the first time) but it would be appalling if the 'feliciatation ceremony' was uniquely reserved for our 'guests' from the jihadi terrosit state of Pakistan.

Added later: Just read the post above of Sheikh Rasheed's visa. I am seething.

No surprises there. Elections are due in West Bengal April-May. Any bhai-bhai stuff can't hurt TMC.

Would agree fully with that except for the fact that BCCI and MEA are under the control of union government.
