Happy Holi to everyone. Though back in Lucknow, Holi has already been celebrated on 23rd. Don't know why, anyone?

This holi is not operational holi. Since time immemorial, it is being tested and retested. Tests of water, balloons, color, mud, and even dry pigments have been repeated endlessly. After thousands of years since the festival was granted, why has the country not produced a single operational holi-day.

In some tests, a fire is lit the night before. In other places, only water is used the next day. Therebis no operational consistency. Neither are baloons synchronized nor are water pistols sight equipped. Worse, the festival is not night water ops capable. On the other hand the fire ops are self defeating to enemy infrared systems.

Countermeasures are another area where no attention has been paid. Often, the used clothes are simply discolored, torn or simply thrown away. No water resistance has been developed and rain coats have not even been tendered despite shortcomings and lack of numbers discovered every year.

For a billion strong nation, facing block 70 festivals at its eastern and western borders this is a very weak holi. It is no world beater. It is no braveheart. It is a 3rd generation 2 7/8 legged holi whose time was past when sanction was accorded. The USA is making n offer to make in india, block 71 holi, if certain agreements are signed. This woukd be far superior to the block 70 holi. In fact, then India could service the block 70 holi for its western neighbor too. Lifecycle cost analysis shows that sweets expenses would be particularly low with the imported holi. In fact, there would be hardly any sweets since they would all be exported to the USA under previously mentioned agreements. This would also reflect in health cost savings reducing diabetes prevelence by upto 67%. A study by Karlo Knopp, the famous analyst notes that the days of domestic holi are numbered, it is too late and obsolete, and its only a matter of time when an import is negotiated to beef up falling numbers.

Huh! all this analysis is one sided only. Who will talk of the imported bhang from bear land which extends range of Block 71 Holi indefinitely.

Btw, Happy Holi Rakshaks.
