When practice of Mohammadden beliefs in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan cloisters away women, it is inevitable that male homosexual rape with paedophile overtones crops up. In the present reported case, a Mohammadden Cleric indulges in paedophile homosexual rape of 8 year old boy child in a Mohammadden Seminary.:

Seminary teacher arrested over rape charges in Mansehra

This deviant behaviour is no one off event in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Similar incidents of paedophile homosexual rape have been reported over the past couple of years or so. Indeed I suspect that the incidents of this nature, by standards of prevalence of deviant behaviour, are quite widespread in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan making it the Homosexual Rape Capital of South Asia:

Sept 18, 2016:

Despicable act: 13-year-old boy raped by taxi driver in Mansehra

July 30, 2016:

Seven-year-old boy raped in Abbottabad

July 22, 2016

Teen boy gang-raped in K-P bakery

May 18, 2016:

Sexual abuse: 11-year-old boy raped in Paharipura

May 13, 2016:

12-year-old boy gang raped, strangled to death in Tando Mohammad Khan

April 30, 2016:

Nine-year-old boy raped allegedly by relative in Peshawar

Feb 28, 2016:

11-year-old gang-raped in Peshawar

Jan 26, 2016:

Boy gang-raped in Mansehra

Jan 7, 2016:

7-year-old boy dies after being gang raped by 'influentials' in Bahawalnagar

Earlier dates:

Lahore: 6-year-old boy killed after rape

Sexual assault: Boy allegedly raped by three men

Crime against children: Five-year-old boy raped

Girl, boy gang raped in Hafizabad

Gruesome crime: Kindergarten boy ‘gang-raped’ by principal, others

Meanwhile the Islamic Republic of Pakistan remains in denial:

The Islamic Republic of Pakistan attempts to con foreign cricket players playing in the PSL into playing the final within the Mohammadden Terrorist infested Islamic Republic by sneaking such a clause into player contracts goes awry following Federation of International Cricketers’ Associations (FICA) reiteration about the security risks of playing in the Islamic Republic.

The attempted con by the Islamic Republic of Pakistan spearheaded by Najam Sethi:

PSL 2017 final will be held in Pakistan - Najam Sethi
"The second edition of the PSL, with five teams in the competition, will be more successful and the final will be held in Lahore," Sethi, who is also the head of the PCB executive committee, said. "International players know what we can do; most of them are ready to come to Pakistan and play. We have signed players with a condition that if their team reaches the final, they will have to go to Lahore and they have all agreed.

"It will be a fly-in, fly-out plan and the government has promised to give full security to the players. We are convinced that the final will happen in Lahore."
The takedown by Tony Irish, FICA Chief executive :

Travelling to Pakistan still risky, says FICA
"The consistent advice we have received from independent security consultants over the last few years is that playing cricket in Pakistan for foreign teams and players constitutes an unacceptably high security risk," Tony Irish, the FICA chief executive, told ESPNcricinfo. "Although we are sure that PSL and PCB would do their very best to implement security plans, the advice of our consultants is also that this risk is unmanageable in the current environment.

"FICA has a duty to relay that advice to players and, given that players are participating as individuals in PSL and they are not participating as part of a touring foreign team, it will be up to each individual player to decide whether or not to take that advice."
The Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s downhill skiing after their “strategically brilliant” plan of including playing in Lahore in player contracts was torpedoed by FICA’s position on security in the Islamic Republic:
]The PSL chairman Najam Sethi had said there was a clause in the PSL player contracts that stated they would need to travel to Lahore if their team made the final. Summarising the nature of the clause, a PSL team official said players would be offered extremely high security and cash incentives if they were willing to go. However, there would also be no repercussions if they did not.

Opinion from an old BRF member! Excellent

"Pakistan SC judges are self-certified schizophrenics"
What will you call judges of a court that hangs little boys for inadvertently tearing a piece of (supposedly holy) paper in 'Blasphemy' case, but allows dreaded terrorists roam free in the country. How would you respect a court that has ceded its authority to the Military without a murmur but proudly hangs severely mentally ill.

A three-judge bench of Pakistan’s Supreme Court, led by Chief Justice Anwer Zaheed Jamali who should be in a mental institution himself, today ruled ..

Pakistan Becoming Holiest Land

The coming drought
Pakistan is currently beset with a clear and present danger – the desertification of its agricultural heartland along with a concomitant drought that would parch the burgeoning population of one of the fastest growing populations on the planet. The looming crisis is partially of our own making and partially a result of climate change.Pakistan has 21.29 million hectares of arable land which would shrink to 14 million hectares if the water flow from the eastern rivers and their irrigation canals gets reduced even by a margin of 30 percent. Through unbridled pumping out of sub-surface waters the aquifers stand in mortal danger of depletion while the water logging threatens the fertility of soil due to unregulated and wasteful irrigation practices.Pakistan’s decrepit irrigation infrastructure results in an annual loss of 4 maf of water through evaporation and 37 maf through water seepage alone. Though Pakistan has 80 percent share of the Indus Water Basin Rivers due to the generous flow in its three allotted rivers as per the Indus Waters Treaty, the country has only utilised 25 percent of its total hydel power generation and water storage potential so far. The comparable hydel utilisation ratio in India, the US and China is 50 percent, 60 percent and 40 percent respectively.
Pakistan’s agricultural sector, which contributes 21.8 percent of its GDP and 40 percent of labour force, needs an additional arable land of 0.5 million hectares every year to produce the requisite quantity of food to feed a population that is growing at a rate of 2.1 percent per year. Based on population growth and concomitant need for more arable land by 2021, there would be a requirement of an additional national storage capacity of 17 maf. That means construction of all three mega dams – Kalabagh, Bhasha and Dassu – in the coming five years a food security compulsion. When viewed in the context of the commissioning time of big dams – 5 to 10 years – the future does not appear too promising. India has constructed 4,000 dams since independence and is now amongst the top five dam constructing countries of the world including the US, China, Japan and Spain.
The Indus Waters Treaty that was signed after a decade-long deliberation in 1960 is a guarantor of the water rights of our three allotted eastern rivers. The right of the upper riparian ie India to water use for domestic, non-consumptive, agricultural, and run of the river projects stands clearly defined in the treaty, which was essentially an agreement between engineers from both the countries – duly overseen by the World Bank.
Pakistan as a lower riparian, therefore, is disadvantaged due to the ill-intentioned Indian water storage and power generation project spree. India has displayed operational celerity in the execution of the Kishanganga Hydel Project while Pakistan’s Neelam-Jehlum project is still hanging fire! Our tardiness in the execution of the project has already cost the country dearly. If we ignore the warnings of our water Cassandras shouting hoarse about the coming drought we would be guilty of an egregious omission imperilling the security of our future generations. It is time we securitised the water issue because, more than anything else – even more than terrorism and extremism – it is the water threat that imperils our national security.

The Porkis are in denial again - incredible.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday denied the Indian claim that Pakistani forces suffered casualties in firing across the Line of Control (LoC) in the Shakargarh sector.

“Indian claim of hitting or killing any Pakistani soldier or Ranger with firing at anytime today at LoC is absolutely false,” said the statement released from the armed forces media wing.

Sunni Terrorist Fragments of Unstable Pakistan-13 June,2016

A PMemptive strike on GHQ? - Ayesha Siddiqa

Premier Nawaz Sharif is likely to want to choose a ‘friendly’ army chief given our civil-military history

There is a popular saying that a prime minister can run a complex country like Pakistan with the help of three As: America, Army and Allah. However, what does one do when all these elements change their nature? America is increasingly becoming peripheral and the Army doesn’t know which segment to engage with. As for Allah—well, divinity gets hijacked all the time.

Setting aside the external and ephemeral forces, domestically the most critical institution remains the military. Therefore, it is important for any prime minister to vie for an army chief best suited for the survival of civilian governments. The horror of the 1990s would still be fresh in Mian Nawaz Sharif’s mind as it was he who was turned out twice from government due to the role played by the COAS. Indeed, Benazir Bhutto’s two governments were similarly sacked. After 1988, each government served two terms for an average period of two years until finally the military walked back into the corridors of power in October 1999.

The decade of the 1990s was a lesson for both the PPP and the PML-N after which they seem to have drawn a similar conclusion—strengthen the political system through prolongation of rule and thwart any stab at a military takeover. How far prolongation of rule strengthened democracy is a moot point, but this appears to be one of the aims of the political government, an objective that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif wants to achieve by appointing a friendly army chief. It must be explained that a ‘friendly chief’ does not mean someone who will compromise on core interests of the armed forces, but he will be someone who will at least not have a trigger-happy attitude towards a political dispensation. There is a huge divide between the army and civilian perception of politics and governance—not that a gentle army chief will deviate from core policies but at least he will be less eager to punish every blunder or mistake made by a civilian government. This is why premier Sharif is afraid of extending General Raheel Sharif’s tenure. Although the current PML-N government appointed the COAS, it did not probably realize that a coterie of hawkish generals would maneuver the army chief towards a more aggressive stance.

The present government clearly does not intend to give an extension to General Raheel Sharif, especially after he gave it a run for its money. Blatant publicity elevated the army chief higher than the prime minister and made the government unstable. Similarly, Nawaz Sharif is not keen on people such as Lt Gen. Zubair Hayat, who comes from a strong military background. With two of his other brothers also serving as generals, one a two-star and another three-star, he sounds too over-confident and aggressive to become the choice for any prime minister. The other officer in the run is Lt Gen. Ishfaq Nadeem, who is viewed favorably by the military. According to hearsay, both these generals are favored by the incumbent, which is just another reason for Prime Minister Sharif to be double-minded about these names.

Allegedly, his choices are Lt Gen. Javed Iqbal Ramday and/or Lt Gen. Qamar Bajwa. It is also believed that Gen. Bajwa has replaced Gen. Ramday as Nawaz Sharif’s first choice. Both are considered relatively lenient vis-à-vis civilian dispensations. To get an idea of the Ramday/Qamar type, consider them of the same ilk as the current National Security Council advisor, Lt Gen. (retd) Naseer Janjua, who is currently onboard with Nawaz Sharif in pursuing peace with India. This runs contrary to the institutional memory of the armed forces. This is not to argue that if selected Ramday or Bajwa would overturn the army’s traditional policy regarding our neighbour. However, these generals could show a bit more patience than the others.

It is important to note that Nawaz Sharif probably hopes to have an army chief of his choice so he can give confidence to some other generals who he might have won over by drawing them away from the ultra-hawks in the institution. This is one factor that tends to make the military nervous about Nawaz Sharif—his ability to create a rift among generals, weakening their cohesion. Let’s not forget that in 1999 not all corps commanders had initially rebelled against the appointment of Gen. Ziauddin Butt as army chief. Even from the military’s perspective, the decision of who will head the organization is critical for sustaining the military’s political clout in the long-term. A politically hawkish general helps play a long innings even though the military has consciously shifted from government to governance.

This sounds complex, which it is since it is a matter of long-term stakes for both the civil set-up and the military. The shift from government to governance makes things murkier mainly due to the fact that most civilians are used to the military taking over direct control and the absence of this is considered weakness. It is not that they think that democracy has strengthened; the reality is that no one is interested in beefing up democratic rule, they just want to have enough breathing space to remain alive and negotiate with the generals. Negotiation, in turn, means that some generals can be engaged in a conversation, some bought over, and some ignored.

The choice should have been made by now. The fact that it is delayed indicates that the battle continues and a consensus has not been reached. Politically, for the civilian government this means tough or even tougher days ahead. Imran Khan has already announced his intention to lock down Islamabad. Apparently, the plan is to block the capital city at nine points. The threat appears dangerous and nasty and is a reminder of the days when Khan was allegedly supported by Lt Gen. (retd) Zaheer-ul Islam. But even then, the former-cricketer-turned-politician had not talked about blocking the city. It was the government which spoke about closing roads to deny the PTI demonstrators access to D-chowk. On the other hand we have the young Bilawal Zardari whose rhetoric sounds very conservative and of the nature that will make GHQ Rawalpindi happy and interested in him. His key men in Punjab, who also have the support of the army, have a personal interest in resurrecting the PPP by hook or by crook in the largest province or else their game is over.

It could possibly be that the dharna-cum-lockdown will come to nothing. However, what is for sure is that there are tough days ahead for Nawaz Sharif and his government. His weakest link in all of this may be his own party that is showing signs of light fracture. The divide between Maryam versus Hamza could prove costly.

I have several issues with this video
1. It is a very high resolution video and good colour - so it can't be a cheap drone. If it is Taliban at all it was supplied by Paki army
2. There is a good highway and much greenery about and flat terrain along with what appear to be multiple plots of private farms - is that really Afghanistan?
3. The video is obviously "dramatized". Assuming the drone was just 1 km away from the explosion - the sound of the explosion must take at least 3 seconds to reach the drone's microphone, if any. No ambient sounds heard like wind/drone engine. So the sound has been added for drama.

Here is some more "doubts" on authenticity

- No other traffic on highway.
- No human seen anywhere
- No security to stop entry into an army camp

My thoughts - this is not only not Afghanistan but a highly edited video of VBIED trials fro Syria. Afghan Taliban have not graduated to VBIEDs and UAV cams as much as Syrian rebels.

If anyone can find traces of editing just prior to explosion - that will be the final proof.

The Helmand river keeps this area quite fertile, and there are lots of canals here too. I'm guessing what got blown up is around this area:

Yes, there is movement there and one can't be sure if it is human or not. Tried scaling with the vehicle but still not sure.

A Brand Called Bakistan

Brand management by Irfan "harbinger of bad news" Hussain
our military and civilian rulers have never really understood the importance of soft power
Our image is tarnished, our soft power nonexistent
we have already succeeded in making brand Pakistan toxic in foreign eyes - when was it ever non-toxic?
Pakistan has been seen as the epicentre of the global jihad, with foreign Muslim radicals coming to our shores for training and brainwashing
The foreign secretary explained that whenever our diplomats raised the Kashmir issue abroad, they had to listen to lectures about harbouring and supporting terrorists
Hafiz Saeed openly address public rallies despite the widely held perception that they are responsible for many acts of terrorism
we also have an unsavoury image for intolerance towards those with different beliefs and lifestyles
Pakistan is now widely seen as a major problem, and not part of the solution
“an international migraine”
...they neglect the fact that our overseas missions are no match for India’s soft power
Indian music, movies, food and fashions are now an integral part of many Western cities. Restaurants owned by Pakistanis are often labelled ‘Indian’
Hussain still doesn't get it. Pakis need to understand that "Pakiness or pakinsanityiat" is a negative brand value cast over decades. To build marketable brand value for a nation, it takes generations. It is not an "on-off" switch. Just like one doesn't become a democratic nation overnight just because one semi-successfully held a round of semi-flawed general elections. Matching (or trying to match) India for its music, movies, food and fashion is just not it. It goes deeper than that superfluous check list. It goes down to the cultural DNA and the very basis of your society. A wandering minstrel is a wanderer first and minstrel second ("na ghar ka, na ghat ka" reputation).

To complain that "foreign Muslim radicals come to our shores for training and brainwashing" is trying to pin the blame on the foreign muslims. The part that Hussain conveniently ignores is that foreign muslims come to pakistan for training because that's where institutionalized procedures and experienced trainers happen to be. Brainwashing...that's a cultural DNA issue and another topic for another time.

Must watch - bakistan was a mistake!! Al Britainistan created bakistan as a buffer between India and Russia with ready support by the congress. Muslim league repeatedly declared their loyalty (wafaadari) for englishtan in their various resolutions (1906 - 1919).

Swamy’s succinct speech on India, Pakistan and the way forward

Pakistan lacks an identity and needs to rein in its terror elements or risk splitting into several parts
In a wide ranging speech of close to an hour, Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dr. Subramanian Swamy spoke on India and Pakistan – Nature and Prospects and started from the time of getting independence to the current situation and into the future.
Nature/ Background The Parliament in United Kingdom enacted the Indian Independence Act, 1947. This was enacted on 18th July 1947, with both India and Pakistan to be formed on August 15, 1947. But before this, on April 11, 1947, the British objective was to create a Muslim governed state, viz. Pakistan and a Hindu governed state, the continuing state of India. The two countries were to come to existence by June 1948. B R Ambedkar, the chief architect of India’s Constitution proposed a population exchange in an orderly fashion.
But Mountbatten, fresh from South East War theater, advanced it to August 15, 1947. Thus there was no time to even consider a transfer of population. Why?
On Dec 26, 1946, Nehru informed Clement Attlee that Soviet Union had Subhas Chandra Bose in their custody. At around the same time, The Congress Party was to elect their President who would have become the presumptive Prime Minister. Gandhi conducted a poll of the PCC Presidents and found that they favored Patel as the Prime Minister by a majority of 15-1. But Gandhi prevailed over Patel because Nehru told him that he could not work under anyone. The British were conducting trials of Bose’s Indian National Army (INA) soldiers. Armed forces were in rebellion in various places in India and the British decided to leave India by June 1948.
Mountbatten feared that if Bose were to return to India, the British would lose all influence over India. Hence he advanced the date to August 15, 1947
Relations between India and Pakistan is convoluted and hence the cause of much strife is because our national identities have become fudged.A Hindu India has lived in peace with Parsis, Jews, Jains and Buddhists for thousands of years.
While Nehru declared India a secular country, the Constitution in force since 1950, did not say so. Mrs. Indira Gandhi added the word secular in the Constitution during the Emergency period, in 1976.Therefore, is the conflict between India and Pakistan a religion vs religion or secularism vs religion?
The terrorists attacking India are all Muslims and they invoke the Koran. Their supporters in India are too and say that they will fight a Hindu India, not a Secular India.Dr. Swamy added that from his personal experience, a large number of India’s Muslims want to be in India and not Pakistan.
The ISIS, Al Qaeda and Taliban refer to India as an unfinished chapter of Islam.
Wherever the Muslims are in majority in India, the Hindus are in trouble. Is this Darul Islam?
Hence, a growing Hindu consolidated polity is good because it destroys caste affinity. Seculars want Hindus divided and Muslims united.
Prospects of Relations India’s confusion in dealing with Pakistan is: Does Pakistan want even now slices of Indian territory by war, or Does Pakistan want to set India on fire to radicalize Muslims to accept the Caliphate concept? India will never concede any territory. India is ready for war. India split Pakistan into two after four wars. India will split Pakistan into four the next time. If war, then India needs to devote its attention to social engineering so as to create inter-faith unity over the national integrity. For the above to be achieved, all of India must consider itself as one, belonging to Hindustan. The final question – Is War inevitable with Pakistan or can the problems be settled by dialogue?
Answer
War is inevitable if Pakistan does not contain its home trained terrorists. India is ready for them.
Dialogue to settle terror questions is not possible since Pakistan’s Civil society at present is impotent.

Taliban delegation in Pakistan for talks
ISLAMABAD: A three-member delegation from the Taliban’s Qatar office is currently in Pakistan to meet authorities — the first such contact following the breakdown of Islamabad-brokered talks between Kabul and the Taliban in May.The visit comes days after Taliban leaders reportedly held informal meetings with Afghan and US officials in Qatar.“The delegates — Maulvi Shahabuddin Dilawar, Maulvi Salam Hanafi and Jan Muhammad — have been in Pakistan for the past two days,” a government official confirmed.
Two of the men served as ministers in Afghanistan’s Taliban-led government, while the third one is a former Taliban ambassador to Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.Pakistan has hosted several rounds of international talks over the last year to jumpstart peace negotiations between the two sides, but dialogue ground to a halt earlier this year when former Taliban leader Mullah Akhtar Mansour was killed in a drone strike in Balochistan.Reuters quoted Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid as saying: “The delegation was sent to discuss some major issues with Pakistani leadership including the arrests of Afghan refugees and their repatriation to Afghanistan.”
A Taliban functionary said the delegates also raised the issue of some Taliban leaders who were recently arrested in Pakistan.A few days ago, security forces raided a seminary in Quetta and arrested a Taliban commander, Mullah Abdul Samad Sani, Reuters quoted a Taliban member as saying.“We don’t know what’s going on but this is the second time during the past two months that Pakistani authorities raided a madressah in Quetta to arrest a senior Taliban member,” the Quetta-based Taliban told the news agency.Afghanistan’s Ambassador to Pakistan Hazrat Omar Zakhilwal said he was aware of the developments, but refused to divulge any details.Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakria was not available for comment, despite repeated attempts.
Sartaj Aziz, who advises the prime minister on foreign affairs, told Dawn that while he was not aware of the details, Pakistan welcomed all efforts for peace in Afghanistan.
A day earlier, Mr Aziz had said there had been no positive response from the Afghan Taliban on peace talks, despite Islamabad’s best efforts.
Has this anything to do with the "peace treaty" signed by the Butcher Of Kabul ( Pak Proxy Hekmatyar ) and his return to Afghanistan ?

US warns Pakistan, says 'we will act alone on terror'

WASHINGTON: In a blunt message, the US has warned Pakistan that it will not hesitate to act alone, when necessary, to disrupt and destroy terror networks as the country's powerful spy agency ISI was not acting against all terror groups operating on its soil.

"The problem is that there are forces within the Pakistani government — specifically in Pakistan's Inter- Services Intelligence or ISI — that refuse to take similar steps against all the terrorist groups active in Pakistan, tolerating some groups -- or even worse," Adam Szubin, Acting Under Secretary on Countering the Financing of Terrorism, told a Washington audience.

"We continue to urge our partners in Pakistan to go after all terrorist networks operating in their country We stand ready to help them. But there should be no doubt that while we remain committed to working with Pakistan to confront ongoing terrorist financing and operations, the US will not hesitate to act alone, when necessary, to disrupt and destroy these networks," Szubin warned.

In his remarks at the Paul H Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, Szubin said at the same time, Pakistan has been — and remains — a critical counter-terrorism partner in many respects.

"Of course, Pakistanis are themselves often the victims of brutal terrorist attacks on schools , markets, and mosques, and the list unfortunately goes on. And in the face of such violence, Pakistan has in some ways pushed back," Szubin said.

"Pakistan has achieved success in its ongoing operations against traditional terrorist safe havens in northwest Pakistan. It has officially designated ISIL as a terrorist organization. And it has gone after the funding and operational capabilities of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan, or TTP," he said.

But the ISI problem of supporting terrorist groups continues, he said.

"This is a distinction we cannot stand for," Szubin asserted.

The US has been saying that Pakistan has not yet placed adequate pressure on the Haqqani Network of militants to prevent them from plotting deadly cross-border attacks in war- torn Afghanistan.

Afghan authorities allege leaders of the Haqqani group, which is fighting alongside the Taliban, are directing high- profile attacks, particularly in the capital, Kabul, from their sanctuaries on Pakistani soil, with the covert support of the country's intelligence operatives.

There is not adequate pressure being put on the Haqqanis" by the Pakistan government, The commander of US and NATO forces in Afghanistan, General John Nicholson had said last month.

"The Haqqanis operationally have been able to continue to conduct operations inside Afghanistan. They constitute the primary threat to Americans, to coalition members and to Afghans, especially in and around Kabul," he said.

Pakistani authorities routinely deny the presence of any sanctuaries and insist counter-terrorism military operations have targeted and uprooted all militant infrastructures on their side of the border.

Singer from the Mohammadden Terrorist fomenting Islamic Republic of Pakistan by name of Shafqat Amanat Ali and son of one Ustad Amanat Ali Khan, writes Amaan Ki Asha type article in the Indian Express.
Can Pakistan give up Lata or India Nusrat Ali because of a line on the atlas, asks Pakistani singer

Politicians and forces have always found reasons to fight, but the common man does not want bloodshed and hatred; he is far too busy making a living.

Written by Shafqat Amanat Ali | Updated: October 23, 2016 11:22 am ………………

And can anyone in India say that he will give up on Baba Farid, Bulleh Shah, Shah Hussain, Waris Shah, Sultan Bahu or Faiz Ahmed Faiz, Ahmed Faraz and Intizar Hussain? Will the music created by the likes of Barkat Ali Khan, Amanat Ali Khan, Abida Parveen, Iqbal Bano, Farida Khanum, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and numerous other artistes be any less intoxicating just because they live across that line? …………………
Author seems to share the majority view of citizens of the Mohammadden Terrorist fomenting Islamic Republic of Pakistan that India is limited to a slice that covers Punjab and the Ganga-Jumna belt which is assumed to be culturally Mohammaddenised and thus believes that Indian’s are cognizant about Punjabi and Urdu speaking Poets, Writers ,Musician’s and Mohammadden Clerics.

I am neither a Punjabi or Urdu speaker and indeed come from a State in India that has a local language not spoken in the Islamic Republic and further my home State is surrounded by other States of India who likewise have local languages not spoken in the Islamic Republic. Not being knowledgeable in the first place of the works of the names listed due to language barrier and very much more inclined to devote scarce time to learning the multiple languages of the States surrounding my home State to more fully appreciate India’s diversity, I have no problem in saying that I will give up on Baba Farid et al.

Another point that struck me is that there is not one single Non-Mohammadden in the list of names posted above. In the Islamic Republic, Non Mohammaddens seem to have been purged from the national consciousness as historical icons and are also so marginalised in the current dispensation that they are simply not enough of them around to become icons.

PeregrineJi, it begs the question as to why US has not done so to date, after all, TSP has taken out many of its (US) soldiers in AfPak. Also, one doesn't expect US to fight India's war, but I do see an opening US has left for TSP by its omission of India-specific pigLeTs. So just as TSP maneuvered and went after the "mighty" Al Quaida (picking up a bunch of yahoos from tribal areas) and saved its arse from US wrath, I could very well foresee that TSP giving up Haqqanis when the price is just right: Lots of F-solas, some form of strategic depth restored in Afghanistan, tacit support for India-specific pigLeTs, bogus "neutrality" on Kashmir etc. Add Chincom steadfast support, and Ruskies flirting with them, not a bad position.

All the above are invoked only to score brownie points in an argument with Indians. If anyone of them were alive in today's p**kistan, they would be wajib-ul... for denigrating islam.

Many of their works are a part of sikh religion. This is how they are kept alive ( not because of paki love for their poetry ). In fact, their shrines are regularly destroyed( you know how ).. http://www.weeklystandard.com/attacks-o ... cle/515262

For a counter punch to the above article....

1) How many places of importance in their country are named after any of the above?

2) Is it ok to rename allama iqbal airport to Bulleh Shah airport or gadaffi stadium to baba farid stadium? ( Hint: No, it is even tougher for them compared to naming that roundabout after bhagat singh. No paki would have the mojo to even think about it )

CRamS Ji :

Well the USA is now "thinking" of "some action". I for one would rather let the Great USA "stew in its own created Sh*t". IMO they have to take action and so let us wait patiently. At least now they have issued a warning - for whatever little it is worth.

I just had an epiphany after our strikes. Pakistan cannot be isolated unless India breaks itself from Pakistan. No point asking every other nation on earth to break free as long as we hold Shitland in a tight lip-lock.
