Chinese textile park to further weigh on struggling Pak exports
Pakistan’s struggling textile industry is facing new threats of further losing its market share to China, which is heavily investing in textile manufacturing facilities in its province bordering the south Asian nation, a leading trade body said on Wednesday.
The anticipated glut of textile and garment from the Xinjiang textile park
Setting up of the textile park at Xinjiang will give a heavy blow to Pakistani textile exports
China’s textile-ware from Xinjiang passing through China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region
Textile exports contribute around 60 percent to the Pakistan’s total exports
Pakistani markets are already awash with hordes of low cost Chinese products....Chances are high that Pakistan would be experiencing a similar influx of goods under China’s transit trade
All hail SeePack. The blatant cheeni land grab is now bearing fruits. But, are there any low hanging ones for the pakis to reap?

Law enforcers on their toes as terrorists trying to regroup

ISLAMABAD: Apparently the brutal suicide attack in Lahore that claimed 13 precious lives was carried out by the defunct Jamaatul Ahrar (JA) group of Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP-JA) led by Umar Khalid Khurasani of Mohmand.

Investigators, however, are also digging deep if the attack was assisted by Lashkar-e-Jahangvi Al-Almi (LJA) or not. “LJA has its Punjabi base and previously both (TTP-JA and LJA) carried out joint terror attacks, this time there is likelihood that TTP-JA could have got the assistance of LJA for carrying out Lahore attack,” a senior Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) officer told this correspondent while requesting anonymity.

TTP-JA and LJA have already claimed an attack on FC in Chaman. Another blast on January 21, 2017 in Kurram Agency was also a joint venture of LJA and TTP Shahryar group of Mehsuds. LJA is also closely connected with Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) or Daesh.

However, previously the attacks like Gulshan Iqbal attack in Lahore on the eve of Easter in 2015 have been carried out by TTP-JA independently through their Lahore cell.

The investigators are also exploring whether the Lahore attack was assisted by the local Punjabi network of militants or their facilitators or it was carried out solely by the TTP-JA by their independent cell, source reveals. The latest statement and the video issued by the TTP-JA also reveal about their terror plans in the name of “Ghazi”, a titled adopted in the name of Abdur Rashid Ghazi, the deputy cleric of Lal Masjid Islamabad who was killed during the military operation against the Lal Masjid in 2007.

In the said statement of the group they have clearly hinted that they would attack the legislatures (federal and provincial parliaments and their members), civil and military law enforcement agencies, secular political parties and individuals, judiciary, elements of minorities (particularly the Qadianis) and the media persons who according to the group propagate for law enforcement agencies and the government etc.

The sources claim that following this statement the law enforcement agencies are on their toes for finding out the affiliates of the TTP-JA.

The officials dealing with counter terrorism issues at Interior Ministry and National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) are unanimous that the militant organizations have joined hands shunning away their differences and have launched a new wave of terror against the state of Pakistan.

As per the reports of the defunct militant group the chief of TTP-JA has already appealed to other militant groups to form a united front where he is ready to fight as an ordinary fighter, giving a clear hint to rejoin TTP Fazlullah group. It is pertinent to mention that the a group of Mehsud militants led by Sajna have already joined TTP Fazlullah group on Feb 2, 2017.

In November 2016, leaders of 8 militant groups had a meeting reportedly in Afghanistan’s Ghazni province, neighboring Federally Administered Tribal Areas.

The meeting was attended either by the chiefs/Amirs or their second in command. They claim that the meeting was arranged by Yousaf Mansour Khurasani, chief of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi Al-Almi (LJA).

Yousaf Mansour, who hails from thickly populated metropolitan city of Karachi, has hit the media headlines after LJA’s claim of assisting Daesh (Islamic State) in the deadly attack of October 23 in Quetta. The attack took 62 lives of young police cadets.

The people who attended this meeting included Javaid Sawati, a close aide of TTP chief Mulla Fazlullah, currently hiding in Afghanistan following the military operation in South Waziristan. Sawati was previously heading the TTP Karachi chapter and currently he is coordinator of the group.

Jandullah, another key militant organization mostly active in Balochistan and partly in Karachi, was represented by Wajid Mehsud. Likewise Maulvi Khatir of TTP Sajna group, Shahryar Mehsud who leads the TTP Shaharyar group, were also present in the meeting.

The meeting was also attended by Abdul Wali of Jamaatul Ahrar, Mufti Ghufran of Khalifa Mansour group, Mullah Daud of Qari Hussain group. The sources claim that most of these groups were based in South Waziristan but they had to flee from the area following the military operation Zarb-e-Azb which started on June 15, 2014.

Following this meeting CTD Sindh had also issued an alert sensitising different law enforcement agencies of the country. Since then the police was on its toes regarding any possible attack in different parts of the country including Lahore, the heart of Punjab.

Hafiz Saeed, 37 others seek removal from ECL
LAHORE: Jamatud Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed and 37 others affiliated with the organisation have asked the Ministry of Interior to remove their names from the Exit Control List (ECL).
he lawyer stated the JuD had never been involved in any terrorist activity in Pakistan and was never blamed for any incident of terrorism or destruction of property.
The bench had observed: “In the present case the Government is not in possession of any evidence that the petitioners are risk to the security of Pakistan and merely on the basis of the UN Resolution their liberty cannot be curtailed.”The lawyer has requested the ministry of interior to delete the names of Hafiz Saeed and others from the ECL.
This "movie" has been played before - many times

Death toll in the Demonstration of the IED Mubarak variant of the IEDology of Pakistan at the “Sufi” Mohammadden Shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar at Sehwan in the Terrorist Fomenting Islamic Republic of Pakistan, vaults from 30 to 50.

At the rate at which the death toll is climbing, it might very well overtake the number of satellites ie: 104 launched by PSLV C-37. In any event if the number of Houris aka Hoors aka Virgins aka Raisins that have been launched by the demonstration of the IED Mubarak variant of the IEDology of Pakistan are taken into reckoning, PSLV C-37’s achievements have been left benhind in the dirt:

More than 50 martyred in suicide bombing at Lal Shahbaz Qalandar shrine

‘Terrorism increasing because children are not taught Arabic’
ISLAMABAD: Members of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Cabinet Secretariat, while debating the Compulsory Education of Arabic Bill 2015, discussed whether the lack of Arabic as a subject in the curriculum was the cause of terrorism in Pakistan. The bill was moved by MNA Naeema Kishwar Khan, and debate on it began even though the mover of the bill was not in attendance.
Committee chairman Rana Mohammad Hayat Khan responded that the inclusion of Arabic would not increase job opportunities, and paraphrased Allama Iqbal, saying those who study Arabic would only get jobs selling oil.
This converted Muslim, known for his anti- Arab stance would be considered a pariah in present day Pakistan :D

As one reader has commented, that Pakistan would be better of , if English is banned and Arabic made compulsory

all supposedly sufis came with Ghauri into India. Especially the top 4 their job was to convert the defeated people of India. Indians made them sing qawalis and gave them "praying at their Dargahs" which according to the newest version of Islam is "Shirk"., and thus wajib-ul-qatal in 2017.

Chisti of Ajmer, Faridudeen shakaranj (baba sheikh farid), Jaluludeen Bukhari (Delhi), Qalandar, Nizamudeen of Delhi. <-- all came into India with Ghauri and Bollywood makes them heroes of India!

---

Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, son of Pir Syed Hasan Kabeeruddin,[2] was born in Marwand. His ancestors had migrated from Baghdad and settled in Mashhad, before moving again to Marwand.

He lived when the Ghaznavid and Ghurids ruled in South Asia.[3] A contemporary of Rumi, he travelled around the Muslim world and settled in Sehwan where he was eventually buried.[4] There is evidence[citation needed] of his presence in Sindh in 1196 when he met Pir Haji Ismail Panhwar of Paat and he is believed to have arrived in Sehwan around 1251. There he established a meeting house (khanqah), taught in the Fuqhai Islam Madarrsah and wrote his treatises Mizan-us-Surf, Kism-e-Doyum, Aqd and Zubdah. Lal Shahbaz lived a celibate life and died in the year 1300 at the age of 151[citation needed].

In Multan he met[according to whom?] Baha-ud-din Zakariya of the Suhrwardiyya, Baba Fariduddin Ganjshakar of the Chishtiyya and Syed Jalaluddin Bukhari. The friendship of these four became legendary, they were known as the Chahar Yar (In Persian "the four friends"). According to some historians[according to whom?] the four visited various parts[where?] of Sindh, Punjab (in present-day Pakistan) and southern part of India.[citation needed].

Shahbaz became a profound scholar of religions, fluent in many languages including Pashto, Persian, Turkish, Arabic, Sindhi and Sanskrit.[citation needed]

RAA Agents Paki Embassy Staffers Disrupt "Good" Haqqani Event In D.C.
POSTED IN FULL
Bullies and Buffoons: Washington Embassy’s Embarrassing Behaviour
Think tanks and academic conferences are ordinarily rather dull affairs. Analysts present their latest research and answer questions from journalists and other scholars. It is not uncommon to see someone gently nodding asleep near the back rows, so tea and coffee is often provided to help keep the audience awake. These events are typically gatherings of highly-educated people having a discussion about new research. Often there is some disagreement, but it is usually made respectfully with the point being to add to the discussion or correct some error. Last week, however, Washington Think Tank Hudson Institute held an event that was anything but ordinary moderated by Pakistan’s former Ambassador Husain Haqqani to present a new report on Pakistan-US ties.
Things take a turn for the worse, however, once Haqqani opens the discussion to members of the audience to take their questions and comments. There are those who agree and those who disagree, and then at about 58 minutes into the affair it happens. Some unseen person begins shouting from the back of the room while an elderly journalist is politely trying to ask a question. Haqqani calmly asks the shouting man to please compose himself and stop interrupting. At this point, it all comes crashing down. The man, off camera, completely loses it and begins uncontrollably screeching at the top of his lungs. Pakistaniyat in full display :D
“YOU ARE A RAW AGENT!!!”As the man is finally escorted out of the room by security agents, his tirade of senseless screaming is difficult to understand. He appears to be a crazy person who has somehow wandered in to the event from the street, and one can see the analysts and other guests laughing as they are embarrassed for him. Yes, it was embarrassing, but what is one person? Everywhere there are crazy people and certainly this man does not represent Pakistanis.
The discussion continues, but things continue down this embarrassing path. The screaming lunatic may be gone, but the commenters continue to be a steady stream of people planted by Pakistan Embassy in Washington. This is not an assumption – when they are handed the microphone, each person is asked to identify themselves. Two identify themselves, saying, “I am from Pakistan Embassy…” Others claim they are Pakistani-Americans but insisted on pronouncing Pakistan as ‘Pack-is-tan’ There is a "new Paki Boss" (Ambassador ) in D.C. Maybe, this is his first "official" action in "support" of Pakistan
Who were these people? It is normal and appropriate for the Embassy to send a representative to any event where Pakistan is discussed, but this quickly became comedic. Multiple military officers from Pakistan embassy’s military wing reportedly attended including Group Captain Ali Naeem Zahoor, air attache; Group Captain Rashid Siddiqui, Attache Defense Procurement (ADP Navy/Air) and Colonel Fawad Furrukh Butt. It has even been reported that alleged undercover ISI officer Colonel Muhammad Ishtiaq arrived with a van full of civilians recruited to harass the speakers and disrupt the event. The so-called Echendee Of Pakiland is at stake here !
However, the speakers and the rest of the audience seemed to find these agents funny, not intimidating. Col Fawad Butt caused the entire room to roar with laughter when he took the mic and announced, “Thank you very much. As the mic is with me, so now I have the control,” as if he had staged some sort of brilliant coup! His attempted coup was quickly put down, though, when Haqqani jokingly reminded him that things do not work this way as microphones can actually be turned off and then allowed him to carry on with his comment. :D
Several other Pakistanis, some possibly working under direction of Col Ishtiaq, stood and recited the same points over and over again, usually trying to change attention to India and Kashmir. After one example, Haqqani remarked: “So it comes down to the talking points that everyone was given” and once again the room burst into laughter. However this is not a laughing matter and the Embassy’s antics caused prestigious American analyst Dr Marvin Weinbaum – who had earlier stated that he was an ‘outlier’ in wanting to not reprimand Pakistan publicly – to warn that, ‘Pakistanis must take this report seriously and realise the mood of Washington’.As is so common in Pakistan, FS "jobs" in western capitals are much sought after, but are usually filled not on competency basis, but on "sifarish" factors !
Watching the entire video, it stands out that it is the former Ambassador Haqqani who allows a constant stream of critical comments while it is the current Embassy staff and its not-so-educated ‘proxies’ who appear dedicated to silencing any criticism. Ironically, one of the well-spoken Embassy officials at the event noted that “there is a need for skilled diplomacy” in Pakistan-US relations. He couldn’t have been more correct. Unfortunately, what took place at The Hudson Institute was the exact opposite of skilled diplomacy. It was bullying buffoonery, and it was a national embarrassment. It will take "decades" for a "Pakistan lobby" to surface in DC

This post might belong to the Indian interests thread, but this level of cynical glee at something that to me is the last strand of Bharat existing under Pakistani occupation being blown up is not something I find joy in. I understand the hesitations in accepting the position of Sufi in the Indic religious space, but it is my opinion that Sufism was digesting Islam into Hinduism than vice versa, and it was external machinations starting from British policy of census down to partition continuing to this day in propping up of Pakistan etc that might make it seem like Sufis always existed with a goal in mind that thousand years from now Hindus will be turned into anti Hindus. But I really doubt that interpretation.

These people are being blasted also for being pseudo Muslims and Hindus in practice to be honest. If you look at videos and documentaries from these shrines many don't look different from our Sadhus. We need to develop a calibrated approach in which we need to feel for an attack on Sufis by ISIS types as an attack on Dharmics. If Sufis attack Hindus in India that's a different story, but there needs to be a caste system in terms of who is closer and who is further. Just writing them off as green on green seems insensitive to our own selves. I'd hope an Indian would stick up for a Pakistani getting beaten up by an Arab employer in Dubai, even if Pakistani might not do the same for an Indian.

Indians in Arapland should give some pain balm to the Arap in case he hurt his arm during the beating.
Apropos the bombing, Shia and the Ahmedia were involved in supporting the partition. Why the grief for their suffering now?

So only possible worthwhile propaganda is show them how islam is destroying their life and try to free them from it by assimilating them into our practices. Rahi Shitisthan ki baat...its a written off state. Whether arab beats them or they beat arab - good for us onlee
I understand the pragmatism, I'm just saying let's not get to the point of cloaking cynicism under the pragmatism though. Bharat is ultimately a civilization, and it has outlived and will continue to outlive all nations or states that prop up on it. How is a Pakistan today any different from any other mlechchha ruler like a Bactrian dynasty that managed to lord over northwestern plains of subcontinent? Over centuries and millennia, borders always changed. The stable boundary is at the Himalaya between civilized Bharat and barbarian Eurasia. Sometimes we over extend and bring peace and upliftment to the borderlands, like Hindu Shahis or when central Asia was Buddhist. Sometimes they over extend and bring their chaos on our turf. Think of bloodthirsty clusterfks of Baloch, Afghan, Turkish, Mongolian, Uzbek, etc nomads baying for Hindu blood in same area six hundred years ago, while also picking each other off. Heck go back, all the Kushans, Scythians, Huns, Tocharians, Greeks etc, same people as how today you have ISIS, Taliban, Al Qaeda, Lashkar, Jaish etc.

In the temporary, sure I make peace with two nation theory, but accepting it internally is something self defeating. It only means the turf war is totally given up and it gets even closer to home. Now chaos is happening in south India also, place where Muslim communalism was considered non existent compared to north.

Sorry for long rant. Just the other day I was listening to a qawwali from this Sehwan sharif. I like the tabla, I like the videos where they're showing masses of people with diyas doing aarti, the cooking of langar, the holy men looking exactly like sadhu babas. This blast seems to hit home for me. I'm not cynical enough to write this off as green on green, to me it seems an awful lot like green on saffron. Also what is two nation theory in thirty years when TSP as we know it doesn't exist?

Btw just saying I'm nowhere doing ronadhona about Pakistan being victim of terror. I see Pakistan as an occupier over Indian lands and people. So the people with Pak passports are victims, even if they root for this entity.

Bharotshontan, this thread is for baki bashing. dead are dead, no need to call Sufis as like Sadhu's. The glee is not about the loss of life, but the utter glee is about another layer off of a fake and failing entity called bakistan which is disguising itself as a "nashun" - a land from which Hindus, Sikhs, and Christians have been ethnically cleansed. So whoever remains there and have been silent are paying for their silence. ... Errr what's the latest score?

If you step on a snake, it rears up to bite. Only few people will forgive unconditionally every time. Remember the story of the Sadhu and the scorpion floating on the river? But Rajneeti does not work that way. Grief is reserved for our dead and our women who were raped and sold into sexual slavery.

Indians in Arapland should give some pain balm to the Arap in case he hurt his arm during the beating.
Apropos the bombing, Shia and the Ahmedia were involved in supporting the partition. Why the grief for their suffering now?

People and communities make different decisions based on their current outlook and knowledge of what they see. The other day I came across an article that showed that Kashmiri Pandits lobbied and authored article 370 to maintain privy positions in admin from Punjabis. Today they have that to thank for turning into a destitute Hindu minority in their home state. So many people appear to commit self goals in hindsight. Bengali Hindus began the grand five day festival we know as Durga Puja today to celebrate Clive's victory at Plassey, only to be by next generation to start losing entire crop of young men to taking on British empire. Even to this day, I wish I got to read a good analysis for where this Yadav+Muslim vote bank came about. Like what is going through the Yadav heads? What are their village mukhiyas and panchayats reading as their ground situation that makes them line up with communal anti Hindu forces?

Anyway, my belief is the goal of having a united Indian nation was to try and align the interests of all these various groups as much as possible on an external level in an increasingly globalizing world. It's best to forgive and forget that Shias or Sufis or Ahmediyas once got duped into being anti Hindu. Things can and are already realigning. We saw Ajmer Sharif Diwan making positive gestures towards Modi. That's because Bhartiya Islam is currently under existential threat from easy access to the real Islam (ISIS). These people will increasingly find refuge under the Hindu umbrella more and more.

Please let us not become Paki while bashing Pakis. The worshipers at Sehwan which has come under attack were Kaffirs for the pure greens. And Sehwan sharif’s worshipers are kaffirs because they ring bells and drums in that shrine, dance to songs, and distribute Theertha after prayer ceremony is over. Let us not glee at the death of people who are practically our own but on the wrong side of the right border.

37 terrorists killed in security crackdown after Sehwan bombing
https://www.thenews.com.pk/latest/18696 ... an-bombing#
KARACHI: Pakistan launched a nationwide security crackdown Friday, officials said, after a bomb ripped through a crowded Sufi shrine, killing 75 people including 20 children and wounding hundreds.

AT least 37 terrorists were killed in encounter with the law enforcement agencies. A statement from the Sindh Rangers said at least 18 terrorists had been killed in operations in Karachi overnight, while in separate security operations, six were killed in Orakzai; four in Bannu’s Bakka Khel; two killed in a police encounter in DI Khan; three shot dead in Peshawar during search operation and two were killed in Sargodha.

"Both the federal and provincial law enforcement authorities and police started a crackdown across the country before dawn, and scores of suspects have been arrested from different cities," a government official speaking on condition of anonymity told AFP.
He said the sweeping operation will continue for the coming days.
