Ganja Sharif Presides Over Launch Of Chinese President's Book On Governance In Urdu !

Urdu version of Chinese president's book on governance launched in Pakistan
ISLAMABAD, April 14 (Xinhua) -- The Urdu language edition of the book "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China" was launched here on Friday and the launching ceremony was attended by around 300 Pakistani and Chinese officials, ( was the Mullah Brigade invited ? Was Maulana Ghazi of Lal Masjid in attendance ? ) academicians and researchers.Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Jiang Jianguo, vice head of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, participated in the ceremony.
In his speech, Sharif said the rich content of the book is both "enlightening and inspiring" and Chinese President Xi Jinping shares his experiences and thoughts with wisdom, empathy and kindness."What has touched me most is that this book is not just about high politics, but also about moving stories of common people, their lives and inspirations about hard work and family values. In our times, the peaceful development of China has stimulated peaceful rise of the entire world," said Sharif. He added that "this book is as much about our contemporary world as it is about China. This book is as much about Chinese dream as it is about the global dream to have peaceful, harmonious and connected world." Ganja's speech drafted by "clever brother" ?
Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Sun Weidong said the English version of Xi's book launched here in 2014 was warmly welcomed in the Pakistani society and the Urdu version will facilitate more Pakistani readers to understand Xi's philosophy of governance, adding that the completion of the Urdu version becomes a new symbol of friendly cooperation between China and Pakistan in the new era. There is probably an Arabic, English, French , Spanish etc etc versions as well !

PS: One more step in the Chinification of Pakiland !

Chinese textile units interested in relocating to Pakistan
Tianjin Peoples Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries Vice President Chen Weiming has said that high cost of doing business and environmental challenges in China have made Pakistan an ideal destination for the relocation of Chinese textile industry.
Ilon blothel is saying that once Pakistan is colonized, Pakistani slave labor will be cheaper than the prison labor used in China. Also, they can set new environmental lows compared to the already pathetic environmental destruction in China.

More fundamental question is will there be enough power? I thought Pakistani textile owners were shutting shop and even attempting to relocate to Bangladesh.

RCase Ji:
Holy Gleen Mangoes, Caseman, Clapistan is in a Pickle!

First the Ilon Blothel is dismantling all their Old, Atmosphere Polluting Old Coal Fired Generating Plants and transferring them to Clapistan and now they are now they are sending "Old Textile Mills" also to Clapistan.

IOW this Environmental Pollution will eventually "flow over to India!

Regarding "Cheap Labor" : Chinese Prison Labor works without Wages and as such IMO the Chinese Textile Mills will use the Clapistani Labor for "Menial i.e. Sanitation Work" only. I feel that All Food etc. for the Chinese Labor will be of Chinese Origin. Hardly anything will be of Clapistani Origin.

Legalding Powel, Ilon Blothel is building the "Powel Plants".

Sindh update.

20-hour loadshedding shows enmity towards Sindh: CM
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Friday claimed that there was a 20-hour gas loadshedding in various areas of Sindh, which was a clear sign of enmity towards the province.
He said that he would wait for one week and if during this period gas was not provided to Sindh, then for the people of Sindh he would have no option but to snatch their rights.
Where are GM Syed types when you need one?

China delivers third maritime patrol ship to Pakistan
China officially handed a 600-ton patrol ship over to Pakistan's maritime safety authority in Guangzhou
the ship will be used to safeguard Pakistan's maritime interests
Its two predecessors have already demonstrated their reliability and excellent performance during visits and exchanges, joint drills, maritime rescue and other missions in Pakistan.
Er...didn't one of these pmsa-managed ships sink after colliding with a Yindoo-owned rickety wooden fishing boat recently? Might as well keep these boats for visits and exchanges.

Malalalala wades in where the brave fear to tread.

Malala condemns Mashal's murder
She said the Holy Prophet had never advised his followers to "be impatient and go around killing people".
She needs to read the koran and the hadiths, again. Wasn't she expected to visit her madre-watan sometime soon? Waiting for some paki to declare her as infidel and wajib ul qatl.

The police have decided to send a team to Nepal to investigate the disappearance of retired Lt Col Habib Zahir who mysteriously went missing in the country earlier this month
I am curious. Why did Nepal give permission for this "visit"? On what legal grounds?

Donald Trump Administration Increases Aid To Pakistan .

Donald Trump ends years of declining aid to Pakistan
PRESIDENT DONALD Trump’s administration has put in place a modest enhancement of military and civilian aid to Pakistan — the first reversal of a uninterrupted five-year decline — for the 2017 financial year, requisitioning $743 million, against a post 9/11 low of $662 million in 2016, according to figures released by the authoritative Congressional Research Service on Friday.
Aid to Pakistan declined sharply since 2011, reflecting a downturn in relations, when the country received $2.463 billion in aid. In 2012, the total fell to $1.916 billion, and further to $1.195 billion in 2013, before dipping to $979 million in 2014. What is expected of Pakistan in return

Local Imam refuses to lead last rites of Mashal Khan
MARDAN: The ransacked university hostel room of slain Pakistani student Mashal Khan has posters of Karl Marx and Che Guevara still hanging on the walls, along with scribbled quotes including one that reads: “Be curious, crazy and mad.”
Mardan police chief Mohammad Alam Shinwari denied the allegation that officers did not do enough to save Khan. “When we entered the campus, he had already been killed and the mob was trying to burn his body,” he said.In Mashal’s hometown of Swabi, around 60 km south of Mardan, his father, Iqbal Shaer, said the accusations of blasphemy were unfounded. “First they killed my son and now they are adding salt to our wounds,” he said.
At Mashal’s funeral, the imam at the local mosque refused to lead the last rites, according to Swabi resident Salman Ahmed. A technician who was asked to do so in the cleric’s place was confronted by several people afterwards. Mashal has since been buried.
It will be very very difficult for any Paki Govt to put back the "Islamic jinni" back into the box!

One More Example Of "Jinn Of Islam" Out Of The Box !

Man pricks eyes, chops off 9th grader's genital organ in name of honour
LAHORE: A grade 9 student from Punjab has had his sexual organ chopped off, along with his eyes pricked in the name of honor. The 15-year-old boy was inhumanely attacked by a man who is allegedly the father of boy's girlfriend. The young boy was kidnapped by the girl’s father, who he was in a relationship with him.The girl’s father and accomplices took him to a deserted place and then had his sexual organ chopped off with a knife, also taking his vision and sight by pricking his eyes. Vigilante justice !. Is this sanctioned by the Book
According to the reports, the girl’s father is influenced by the backing of the ruling party, while the boy’s father has demanded prompt action and intervention from the Chief Justice of Pakistan. In Pakistan, one with the "bigger sifarish" will win unless there is a big hue and cry in the media!

Pakistan "Just Makes It" To The List Of The Most Dangerous Countries In The World

MAPPED: The world’s 10 most dangerous countries

[quote]It may feel as if the whole world is a dangerous place right now, after 2016 saw swathes of terror attacks right across Europe. These included mass shootings in Turkey and a lorry ploughing into a German market just before Christmas in Berlin. However, some countries are much worse than others when it comes to danger levels. The Global Peace Index (GPI), which is compiled annually by the Institute for Economics and Peace, lists the countries that are the most – and least – peaceful.Based on GPI’s findings, here are 10 of the most dangerous countries in 2017.10. Democratic People’s Republic of Korea 9. Pakistan 8. Democratic Republic of Congo7. Central African Republic 6. Sudan5. Somalia 4. Iraq 3. South Sudan2. Afghanistan1. Syria
6 out of 10 of the above are Islamic countries !

" Blasphemy Epidemic " Spreading Fast In Pakistan .

Mob plans attack on a doctors’ conference after false charges of blasphemy in Tando Muhammad Khan, Sind
TANDO MUHAMMAD KHAN – With false charges of blasphemy, some violent elements are planning to incite people in order to attack and disrupt the first National Conference of Doctors in Tando Mohammad Khan city, feared Pakistan Medical Association (PMA).The doctors of the association are concerned, especially after a recent brutal incident in Mardan where student Mashal Khan of Abdul Wali Khan University was beaten to death by a mob following unproven allegations of blasphemy.
The PMA is scheduled to hold a medical conference at DHQ Hospital in the city on April 16, 2017 and an inaugural dinner is going to be organised tonight (Saturday) at Mir Ghulam Ali Khan Talpur Park, which is being made controversial by a group. At the event, Sindh Health Minister will be the Chief Guest, while local politicians and doctors from all over the country will be attending the event.Dr Arshad, a member of the association, said that the park was only place in the small city to accommodate such a large crowd, adding that for the same reason Muslims of the city also offer Eid prayers in the public park and hence it is also called Eid Gah sometimes by locals.
He claimed a person named Papu Baluch with the support of a local organisation, Saathi Filaahi Tanzeem is planning to jeopardize the event, as Baluch is calling the inaugural dinner a dance party and a mujra, and inciting violence against a Hindu doctor Pehlaj Mal, one of the organizers, for his religion. Hard to put the "Islami Jinni" back into the bottle, once opened !
Arshad further alleged that Papu Baloch and his Saathi Filaahi Tanzeem were just bullying doctors under the false flag of blasphemy.

British police arrest man for swearing at air hostess
a British man of Pakistani origin for allegedly misbehaving with an air hostess during a PIA flight
the cabin crew found three men from the group allegedly smoking in the toilet
When an air hostess forbade them from smoking, they misbehaved with her
It is hard enough for one person to use the airplane toilet in the economy section. How did three pakjabis crowd in at the same time, and no one noticed them going in at the same time?

Minister Baffled By "Sialkoti Statistics"

No record of remittances worth Rs103bn: Nisar
ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said on Saturday there is no record available of remittances worth Rs103 billion in the country.“There is no record of senders and receivers of this remittance,” the interior minister told a press conference here. He went on to say that the past government and some others were on the same on this issue. The interior minister said that banks were also involved in money laundering. The aid giving organizations like IMF and World Bank should take note of this statement by the Pakistan Interior Minister . I.O.W. the Minister has expressed doubts about the credibility of the figures generated by the Pakistani Banking and Economic Report System
We have received complaints of misuse of Pakistani passports
He said that visa’s were granted like candies in the past. Now we are working on the Online Visa System in the country. Several measures had been taken over the past three-and-a-half-year to improve visa system in the country, the interior minister added.“Now I can say for sure that no one can enter Pakistan without proper travel documents,” Nisar claimed. This of course does not include fake passports and visas issued to Afghan Taliban leaders by the "Deep State"

"Paki Ayesha" Arrested For "Terrorism"

Female terrorist arrested from Lahore
A militant was killed while three, including a female ‘terrorist’, were arrested from Lahore. No mention whether she was an "active member" of the team , ( or she was just there to provide "comfort" to male members ) or whether garbed in western or native attire

Mystery Solved :

Paki Ayesha Is A ISIS Trained Terrorist

Noreen Jabar Leghari: ISIS trained medical student arrested from Lahore
LAHORE: Mystery surrounding the missing Pakistani medical student Noreen Jabar Leghari seems to be resolved after an operation in Lahore.
Noreen Jabar Leghari went missing two months ago and was reported to be in Syria. Hope she did not provide "comfort" to ISIS fighters there
It turned out that the women who was arrested in security forces operation near Punjab Housing Society Lahore, has been identified as Noreen Jabbar Laghari – the second year student of MBBS in Liaquat University of Medical Science (LUMS), Jamshoro.
It has been reported that Noreen spent two months in Syria and returned to Lahore almost six days back. Will she be "tortured" by the ISI to show the Americans that they are "serious" about ISIS and collect some additional moolah in the process

JADHAV VICTIM OF PAK-CHINA BALOCH ROMANCE

JADHAV VICTIM OF PAK-CHINA BALOCH ROMANCE
Saturday, 15 April 2017 | Jumma Marri | in Oped

It is a well-known fact that Pakistan always looked for blame games and excuses to carry on with her illegal occupation of Balochistan and genocidal military operation against the Baloch people.

The aim is to defeat the Baloch fight for freedom and force them to surrender to the Punjabi elite who could then loot Baloch resources without any resistance.

China, Pakistan’s close friend, joined the Punjabi looting class closely in 2001 in its efforts to kill and plunder Baloch resources unabashedly. It has now increased the stakes by announcing the so-called China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) that has raised Pakistan’s strategical importance many times in the region and beyond.

There are no doubts about the importance of CPEC for China and Pakistan (read Punjab). China has even declared it as the flagship project under the “One Belt, One Road” (OBOR) initiative. However, CPEC is an existential threat to not only the Baloch people but also to other ethnic minorities who are gradually coming to terms with the adverse impact of it on their lives. The Baloch people are particularly incensed about the growing military action that has followed the announcement of the project.

This has touched their nerves and made them more determined to fight for their inalienable rights of Independence which was snatched away from them through illegal annexation of their country by Pakistan in 1948.

CPEC is a direct threat to the USA too even if some of the American analysts have deluded themselves into believing that it would bring prosperity and stability to the terror-manufacturing country.

They ignore the debilitating impact of China-Pakistan strategic nexus on the regional conflict dynamics in general and the human rights situation in Balochistan in particular.

Pakistan is keeping its doors open for China to enhance its strategic existence in the Arabian Sea through its presence in Gwadar and boost its economy by bringing prosperity to western Chinese region of Xinjiang. At a time when China is facing economic downturn, investing its vast idle reserves in a corridor like this makes eminent sense, especially when it has a partner like Pakistan, and it is willing to trust Pakistani military with its ability as well as commitment to provide security for its investments.

This should particularly worry realists in America, when China is strategically competing with and displacing the US from region after region in the developing regions of Asia, Africa and Latin America.

It has inflated aspirations of replacing the US as the most powerful country in the world. It is full of scorn for the values and norms that the US upholds as fundamental to human development. There is a conscious effort by China to provide the developing world with an alternative vision of economic growth founded on values which are inherently anti-democratic and anti-human rights.

Ideologically, the Punjabi elite of Pakistan is its close cousin even if it maintains a façade of democracy. In such a setting, the US should stop alignment of such regressive forces rather than seeking to cohabit the strategic space of Southern Asia with both of them.

CPEC is also a direct threat to the oil rich West Asian countries. If China sets up its military bases right at the neck of Strait of Hormuz in Persian Gulf in this way, it will definitely flex its muscle in the region sooner than expected and browbeat the region into submission.

Having an alternative route for Chinese imports and exports away from South China Sea where the waters are increasingly getting hot due to Chinese ambitions to control entire south sea is also an attractive proposition for China. It will save on its expenses on security and trade-transit through CPEC.

CPEC is being projected as a matter of life and death by the ruling elite of Pakistan. Perceived Indian opposition to it is acting as an unexpected incentive for both China and Pakistan to overinvest on it for its successful implementation. They know for sure that the main hurdle on their way is the Baloch movement for freedom. They want to delegitimise the movement by inventing a link with India.

It is no secret that since 2000, the Pakistan Army is running its brutal military operations against the innocent Baloch people, who have been waging their fifth-generation struggle against the Pakistani policies.

Starting with military dictator Musharraf, Pakistani rulers have openly blamed everybody around the world from CIA, RAW, Mossad, Russian FSB, Afghans, Arabs and Iranian intelligence agencies for the ongoing Baloch resistance movement.

The Kulbhushan Jadhav episode only proves this point further. The Baloch people have known Pakistani designs since 2003 when Pakistani authorities offered them US $ 35,000 for every Indian they would be able to kidnap from Afghanistan and US$ 20,000 every Indian kidnapped from Iran. They have offered millions to Afghan Taliban for capturing Indians working in Afghanistan.

The story emerging from the ground suggests that Kulbhushan Jadhav was kidnapped from western Balochistan near Chabahar port in Iran by three Afghans who later sold him to some Baloch who were working for the ISI.

Jadhav was there on a business trip to inspect some possibilities to export Indian garments to Turkmenistan and other central Asian states.

He was blind-flooded and brought inside Pakistani occupied Balochistan and sold for US$ 35,000 that was trophy for ISI. He was then shown as a RAW agent captured in Balochistan, who was there to train and help Baloch and create instability in Pakistan.

It was all just a grand make-believe show to brainwash Pakistani public and international community to hide their crimes in Balochistan.

Another fact that has gone unnoticed is that the Chinese have resisted the temptation to invest heavily in Balochistan so far. The proposed Gadani power plants have been kept in abeyance. The move to build infrastructure around Gwadar has been pushed by Pakistan to sustain Chinese interests.

The only good this is that Pakistani ploy to project Baloch resistance as merely a function of mischief caused by Indian RAW has not convinced the Chinese about the nature of Baloch movement, which is likely to intensify further.

If the sentence against Kulbushan is carried out, it will be a travesty of justice. He has not been given due assistance under international law to plead his case. The Pakistani version of the story has been upheld by the military court and death sentence has been pronounced without even granting Indian High Commission access to its citizen alleged to be a spy.

As per international norms, this is the very minimum requirement for a fair trial. All this shows how desperate Pakistanis are to undermine Baloch struggle at one level and sell their antipathy towards India as legitimate point to the international community on the other.

Ironically, the Baloch people, with their secular outlook and reflexive empathy for India, have not received due attention and help from India in their struggle for their existence.

With India being a regional heavyweight with its record of upholding human rights in the case of Bangladesh, the Baloch have huge expectations from New Delhi, but it has gone unmet over the years. Despite steady attempt by various Baloch leaders in exile to reach out to Indian diplomats abroad in quest for moral and material help, there is no manifest desire to imperil India’s relationship with Pakistan by siding with Balochistan.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has raised Baloch expectations but as the Indian coyness about the Kulbhushan case shows, India is still not prepared to openly advocate the Baloch cause and raise the case of gross human rights violations at the international level.

Alas! The ground reality is so very different from what the Pakistanis portray it to be!

This new dossier is to be based on the early testimonial as well as statements given in front of the court by Jadhav.Pakistan has collected fresh evidences on Indian involvement inside Pakistan to spread anarchy and militancy, sources stated. The attested report of Court Martial General will also be included in the dossier. The timeline of Jadhav’s militant activities, as well as the court proceedings timeline, will also be part of this document.Furthermore, arrests and raids done by Pakistan security agencies on Jadhav’s tip-offs are also shared in it with detail When is the next new edition due :D
The dossier will be handed over to different ambassadors in Islamabad. The Pakistani envoys across the world will also present it to their host states, sources added. The document will also be sent to United Nations and other global organisations. A few months ago, prominent supporters of Ganja were rewarded by him doling out free trips to them for "explaining the Kashmir cause" . All of them had a good time shopping, dining and "trying" to arrange meetings in London, NY, Rio and other "good" destinations . Is anything along those lines in the works
Jadhav had told judges last year that he was a naval officer who had started doing work for Indian intelligence following a 2001 attack on parliament that India blamed on militants backed by Pakistan.

Islamabad Airport: FIA officials torture female passengers
ISLAMABAD: Two female passengers were traveling from Islamabad airport to Copenhagen via PK-771 when FIA officials allegedly tortured them after a minor dispute. The injured women were admitted to a nearby hospital later on.The officials of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to ensure security at the airport had a minor dispute with passengers Haseena Begum and Fauzia Umar who were traveling through a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane.
Both women were taken to a room where FIA officials allegedly tortured them. The women received injuries and were taken to a hospital as their condition became critical.
On the other hand, airport management claimed that the female passengers abused their staff after which the situation became worse. So, it has become a case of "he said, she said" The female Ayeshas should follow the example of the Chinese- American Doctor who has filed a lawsuit against United Airlines for physically abusing him

The high decibel bragging by the Mohammadden Terrorism fomenting Islamic Republic of Pakistan about the “game changing” economic benefits that would accrue to the Islamic Republic has not changed the fact on the ground that the China Pakistan Economic Corridor aka CPEC is closed for a third of the year :

What can guarantee CPEC’s success

The Paki stupidity never fails to amaze me. Why would India send stuff to China using CPEC? If we want land access to China we will use Mynamar or with some effort through Tibet. :rotfl:

But I agree India needs to solve the Kashmir problem to be part of CPEC. As soon as India gets back POK, India will automatically be part of CPEC.

China hikes investment in CPEC to $62bn from $55bn - Shailaja Neelakantan, ToI

It is increasingly becoming clear that as Chinese economy faces more headwinds and as India-China relationship slides even further, China wants to grab Pakistan as a piece of real-estate even more rapidly. We have been discussing as to how to manage Pakistan as a 'failed/failing state', but China has taken over that responsibility, it seems.

I doubt if Pakistan has any say at all in Chinese investments! The Chinese are just doing whatever they want to do; they are toying with Pakistan. And, the money never comes into Pakistan for capital goods purchases!

North Korea, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Seychelles, Djibouti, Pakistan . . .

Why are the Chinese making such bad investments? How long before a mullah in pak turns on the Chinese when the time comes. Will we see another SU-Afghan, US-Afghan like situation.

So they are colonising Pak to act as source of resources and market for manufactured goods.

Some Pakis were right. It is the new East "Pakistan" Company.

It also looks like the Xinjiang problem is much worse than what is been told. Pak is the soft belly with potential of PA's holy warriors joining in the holy war in Xinjiang.

Sunni Terrorist Fragments of Unstable Pakistan - March 17, 2017

Post by Peregrine »

Further to my Post of 15 Apr 2017 01:49 on Page 19 of this Thread we have this Gem on Clapistani Population Explosion :

Who’s enemy number one?

ASK people around you to identify the three greatest threats facing Pakistan. Ordinary people, chatterbox anchors, mullahs, generals and politicians will name everything from corruption, bad governance and religious terrorism, to Indian and American conspiracies, and general moral decay. But few, if any, waste sleep worrying about the country’s exploding population. Some educated people do have misgivings, but they show concern only when prodded.

Fortunately, the ultra-religious sorts — which this land is abundantly blessed with — are free from useless doubt. For them more is better. Every newborn, say the ultras, comes with a guaranteed rizq (provision) stamped on its forehead. Now let’s assume, ignoring the visible contrary evidence, that this is correct. Yet there shall remain an impossibly difficult problem even if food and water were to drop miraculously from the skies. Fact: Pakistan will eventually run out of physical space. This is what the law of exponential growth says.

An old Persian story helps understand the mathematical concept of exponentials.

Once upon a time, a clever courtier presented an elaborate ivory chess set to his king. In return he asked for only one grain of rice for the first square, two for the second, four for the third, etc. Now, kings in those times did not have degrees in math, and this one was no exception. He foolishly agreed and ordered the rice be brought out from the storage. Working on the agreed upon terms, the 10th square had 512 grains, the 14th weighed around 1kg, and the 20th around 128kg. Long before reaching the last square (64th) the kingdom’s entire rice stock was exhausted.

The moral: if something doubles, and doubles again and again, then even the sky is not high enough.

Let’s return to Pakistan. In 1947 it had 27 million people and now has over 200m. This gives a doubling time of roughly 25 years. Now assume for a moment that the ultras have their way and the doubling time stays unchanged. Then 25 years later there will be 400m Pakistani CNIC holders. Wait for another 100 years and that number will comfortably exceed the world’s current population of 7.2 billion.

The effects will be much more dramatic after yet another 25 years — ie 150 years from today. Imagine that all 800,000 square kilometres of Pakistani territory is somehow levelled. Even so, there will be only room for standing shoulder to shoulder. In such circumstances it is hard to imagine how further reproduction will be physically possible. Be that as it may, the Clapistanis will find a way to procreate to DESTRUCTION! Generals who receive retirement gifts of 93 acres (approximately 37 hectares) of land today will be lucky if they get 93 square feet.

The good news is that this is not actually going to happen. Every demographer is shouting from the rooftop that birth rates are declining and doubling times are increasing. Indeed, according to the CIA World Factbook, birthrates in Pakistan have fallen from 32.11 in 2000 to 23.19 in 2014.

The bad news is that even this decline isn’t good enough. Short of nuclear war or a miracle, nothing can now prevent Pakistan from reaching 400m people in 35-40 years. Hence the demand for living space will vastly accelerate. Even now, green areas are vanishing as villages become towns, and one city spills over into the next. Karachi and Hyderabad are approaching their eventual merger, just as Islamabad and Rawalpindi have become practically one city, and Islamabad is furiously racing towards Taxila.

Doubling Pakistan’s population means that there will only be half as much fresh water as today, the air will become yet filthier, pollutants will poison the land and sea, and road traffic will become nearly impossible. As poverty skyrockets, hordes of beggars will roam the streets, madressahs will swell in size and number, and the unemployed and unemployable will chafe in anger and frustration. They will be easily persuaded that their predicament comes from some international conspiracy.

Although this holocaust is only some years away, curiously it is the suicide terrorist — whose ball-bearing filled jacket can kill only dozens — that draws our attention. Why? The story of two frogs loitering near the kitchen stove is instructive.

One frog fell into a pot of hot water and was so jolted that he jumped out instantly. He was saved. The other one fell into a pot wherein the water was only slowly warming up. He swam around and around but did not summon the energy to make a sudden jump. Ultimately he was boiled to death. The obvious moral: instant shocks are better survived than long-term threats.

How to avoid a similar doom? As a first step we must declassify our best kept national secret — knowing how babies are made. Only then can contraception be discussed in the public media, and in schools and colleges. Phenomenal ignorance on these matters has led to extremely low rates of contraceptive usage by Pakistani women. This also reflects their disempowerment in deciding the number of children. Hence birth and fertility rates in Pakistan exceed those in Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka and the rest of South Asia.

With discussion suppressed in the name of Mashriqi sharm-o-haya, all kinds of nonsensical belief are going unchallenged today. Should we be surprised that countless workers administering polio shots — which are falsely alleged to decrease fertility — have been shot and killed?

The government’s supreme cowardice makes one shudder. Fearing the wrath of violent ultras, Pakistan abolished the ministry for population planning many years ago. Upon googling, I came across the website of the Population Welfare Department. This ridiculous name suggests that PWD will seek, and succeed, in delivering welfare to Pakistanis irrespective of their number. I could not find an Urdu version of the website. Apart from giving advertisements in newspapers, where it matters little, I am unaware if the PWD does anything else.

Averting catastrophe because of overbreeding does not need rocket science but it does need common sense. It also needs courage, which our pusillanimous leaders — both civil and military — have so far failed to muster. Much more than Zarb-i-Azb, we need Zarb-i-Tauleed. Unless we learn from the second frog’s fate, Pakistan doesn’t have much of a future.

MOAB: Collateral Damage In FATA ( Khurram )

‘Mother of all bombs’ caused damage in Kurram: residents
PARACHINAR: The powerful non-nuclear bomb dubbed mother of all bombs (MOAB) which was dropped by the US on an area in Afghanistan on Thursday also left impact on this side of the border, damaging buildings in Kurram Agency, locals said.Wide cracks appeared in several houses, a mosque and an Imambargah at Malana village in the foothills of Speen Ghar also known as White Mountain. The snow-covered White Mountain serves as a natural barrier between the Afghan province of Nangarhar and the Kurram tribal region in Pakistan.US officials claimed that MOAB targeted a base of the militant Islamic State group in Achin district which lies in the foothills of the White Mountain on the other side of the border. Parachinar is one of the venues in the on-going tussle between Shias and Sunnis in Pakiland ; just a month ago, an Imambaragh was the target of "miscreants" probably backed the Paki Deep State
He said that wide cracks had appeared in several houses and mosques in the area. It also caused slight damage to houses in the Zeran area. The US forces had carried out intense bombing in the Tora Bora area of the same Achin district after 9/11 attacks to dismantle what it claimed was a cave complex of Al Qaeda.
Mr Shinwari said that American and Afghan ground forces were slowly advancing on the mountainous area, which is blanketed with landmines, to clear the site, but there are still some pockets of resistance from insurgents.“New fighters have probably come from the other side of the border (Pakistan) to collect the dead bodies,” he added.
you do not need more proof than this about IS in Pakistan !

News On "Arrested Daesh Girl "

‘Daesh girl’ from Hyderabad arrested in Lahore raid
LAHORE: A girl, who went missing from Hyderabad and was believed to have joined Daesh, has been arrested from Lahore during a raid on a militant hideout on Friday, her family has confirmed.Noreen Jabbar Laghari, a student of Liaquat University of Medical Science (LUMS), Jamshoro, went missing on February 10, 2017. Hyderabad Police had informed the media that the young girl was inspired by the ideology of Daesh and went to join them on her own. So, it is not just the Aam Abduls and Ayeshas who are drawn into this ideology, but the middle class segment as well - sad !
The ISPR on Saturday said it had thwarted a plot to launch a major terror attack in Lahore on Easter Sunday, after an army raid in the city that killed a suspected militant.Security forces also arrested a woman and seized suicide jackets and explosives, the statement added. The terrorist killed was identified as Ali Tariq.
It has now been revealed that the girl is Noreen Leghari who has joined the militant outfit. She had shared her radical religious views on social media as well. Her brother told media that the family has been informed by the security forces about his sister. The sources confided that she came into contact with Ali Tariq on Facebook and tied the knot.A video obtained by the police, showed the girl left for Lahore alone on the day she had gone missing and then contacted her family through social media that she had reached the land of Khilafat.
Noreen Laghari is the daughter of Dr Abdul Jabbar Leghari, Professor at Dr M A Kazi Institute of Chemistry, University of Sindh. Professor Jabbar Laghari had said that his daughter left home for university on February 10 and attended morning classes; afterward, she was seen nowhere. She is under investigation for her role in the Easter attack foiled by the forces and it is still unknown what was her relation with the terrorist killed in the encounter. It would be come as no surprise if the whole family has been radicalized !

1000 Paki Students Face Expulsion From Kuwait In Wake Of New Rules About Non- Arab Schools :D

Pakistani school students facing risk of suspension of studies
KUWAIT CITY, April 15: About 1,000 students of Pakistan Excel English School in Khaitan are facing the risk of suspension of their studies in the school following the announcement made by the school owner concerning an intention to transform the school into an Arab school in the academic year 2018/2019. This announcement has resulted confusion and chaos among the guardians of the students.
The school administration affirmed that it has informed the guardians of all students last week that the current academic year (2017/2018) will be the last for studies under foreign system in the school. It highlighted that the owner was long given green signal by the General Department for Private Education to transform the school into an Arabic school despite a ministerial decision that bans transfer of license from foreign to Arabic system. In an interview with Al-Seyassah daily, a number of guardians expressed their disappointment over the school decision. Is it possible that Paki students are targeted because of their country's "special reputation"
The General Department for Private Education has informed the owner of the school to coordinate with nearby schools concerning the transfer of the students there after obtaining approval from their guardians.

Let’s accept what we have done to ourselves
school textbooks in Pakistan...imbibe the half-truths and supremacist ideas and universities seem unable to do much on that front
It has been widely believed that radicalisation among youth is linked to poverty and deprivation. But studies have shown that poverty or lack of economic opportunities for social mobility are just facilitators. There is something deeper at work.
youth in universities have increasingly embraced an identity rooted in religion
Dr Ayesha Siddiqa conducted a survey at leading private and public sector universities of Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. The survey found that the majority opposed a secular state in Pakistan. Eighty-eight percent of students declared Islam to be their identity and for 57 percent, Islam held an important place in their personal lives. Sixty-two percent supported declaring Ahmadis as non-Muslims, while 51 percent supported the prohibition of liquor. Thirty-three percent believed in gender segregation in the country. Surprisingly, the majority of students expressed aversion to taking part in political activity, with 67 percent ruling out joining any political party.
This has also increased prevalence of hyper-nationalism among the youth as the textbooks have already taught them that only a national security state can handle the conspiracies hatched by outsiders
a British Council survey of youth in 2009 revealed that only 33 percent of young men and women believed in democracy as a system of governance. Another 33 percent supported the imposition of Sharia law in Pakistan, while 7 percent preferred dictatorship.
Solution: more malsi.

Another "lets keep Jahdav alive" article. Something is brewing and its not just the paki HS&D.

Why Jadhav must be kept alive
or - lets take the moral high road (for now).
it is important for Pakistan to be seen as a peaceful and principled party in the equation where India clearly is appearing as an aggressor with a chip on shoulder and, post Jadhav's arrest, carrying the stigma of sponsoring terror.
Then why was Jadhav tried under the Official Secrets Act, which has nothing to do with activities like setting off bombs? Why is he being charged only for espionage and not terrorism under the Anti-Terrorism Act? Besides, the trial timeline is also a bit problematic. Jadhav was made to confess through a video released on March 25, 2016. This means he might have been arrested any number of days before the release of the confessional video. The date of initial FIR given by Mr. Aziz was April 8, 2016 - two weeks after the confession. Is this in accordance with the law of land in Pakistan? If not, why was the law flouted?
on December 8, 2016, Mr. Aziz said to the media, "What the dossier contained on Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadav were mere statements. It did not have any conclusive evidence."
The best course for Pakistan now is to keep Jadhav alive and release substantive evidence, event by event, in coming months or, may be, years.
Indian government is exploring its legal options (including a high level prisoners swap) to save their spy.
I bet this dame reads BR regularly. Note the dates - March 25, 2016; April 8, 2016 and December 8, 2016.

Promoting Religious Tourism In Pakiland  - Caveat Emptor
In of themselves, such visits from the citizens of the two countries also provide tremendous economic potential. The benefits of religious tourism are certainly something that Pakistan can profit from. Being home to some of the holiest for both, Sikhs and Hindus, ( an endangered species in Pakiland !) Pakistan can devise a strategy to boost religious tourism in line with how Saudi Arabia ( always the model for the Pakis !) has done through the millions of pilgrims ( razing religious sites and making Mecca- for Muslims onlee- a "shopping mall) visiting its territory every year.
