Fatwa time. Baki HS&D at risk here. 70 years of suffering and eating grass and this is what the bakis will have to accept? Hain?

Pakistan not the property of any religion, sect: Defence minister
Defence Minister Khawaja Asif on Sunday said that Pakistan belongs to all Pakistanis and is not the property of any particular religion or sect
“The name of religion is used for settling personal scores,” he lamented
Asif also noted that both Allama Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah were progressive individuals.
OK, that's strike 1, 2, and 3. Fatwa time. Asifbhai better back peddle on this quickly or else he is toast.

‘Mother of all bombs’ caused damage in Kurram: residents
PARACHINAR: The powerful non-nuclear bomb dubbed mother of all bombs (MOAB) which was dropped by the US on an area in Afghanistan on Thursday also left impact on this side of the border, damaging buildings in Kurram Agency, locals said.Wide cracks appeared in several houses, a mosque and an Imambargah at Malana village in the foothills of Speen Ghar also known as White Mountain. The snow-covered White Mountain serves as a natural barrier between the Afghan province of Nangarhar and the Kurram tribal region in Pakistan.US officials claimed that MOAB targeted a base of the militant Islamic State group in Achin district which lies in the foothills of the White Mountain on the other side of the border. Parachinar is one of the venues in the on-going tussle between Shias and Sunnis in Pakiland ; just a month ago, an Imambaragh was the target of "miscreants" probably backed the Paki Deep State
He said that wide cracks had appeared in several houses and mosques in the area. It also caused slight damage to houses in the Zeran area. The US forces had carried out intense bombing in the Tora Bora area of the same Achin district after 9/11 attacks to dismantle what it claimed was a cave complex of Al Qaeda.
Mr Shinwari said that American and Afghan ground forces were slowly advancing on the mountainous area, which is blanketed with landmines, to clear the site, but there are still some pockets of resistance from insurgents.“New fighters have probably come from the other side of the border (Pakistan) to collect the dead bodies,” he added.
you do not need more proof than this about IS in Pakistan !
Can count on the Pakis to claim damage and demand compensation for damages and emotional bheekh.

Christian man tortured in Sheikhupura for 'befriending' Muslim woman
A Christian man was reportedly assaulted and burnt with hot iron rods, allegedly by the family of a Muslim woman in Sheikhupura district, for having "friendship" with her, it has been learnt.
Someone should remind the Christian that bakistani ambassador recently opened his embassy's grounds for the baki-Christians in the US to celebrate Easter and egg hunt. Isn't that enough? Now they want the pious baki wimmen, too?

Bearer Of "Bad News" From " Trump Sarkar"

US National Security Adviser in Pakistan after hints at tougher stance
AFP
ISLAMABAD: US National Security Adviser Lieutenant General H R McMaster arrived in Islamabad on Monday on an unannounced visit, a day after he hinted the US could take a tougher stance on Pakistan. It was the first visit by a top member of President Donald Trump´s administration to the militancy-hit South Asian country, and came after a stop in neighbouring Afghanistan where he suggested Washington may take a stronger line on Islamabad, for years seen as an unreliable US ally.
A statement issued by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif´s office said McMaster had "assured the Prime Minister that the new administration was committed to strengthening bilateral relations and working with Pakistan, to achieve peace and stability in Afghanistan and in the wider South Asian region."McMaster´s visits are being closely watched for clues as to the Trump aministration´s future course of action in the region.
The Pakistani statement added that McMaster´s delegation included Lisa Curtis, who US media have previously reported as his pick as senior director for South and Central Asia.Curtis, a well known conversative expert, recently co-authored a paper calling on the US to stop treating Pakistan as an ally and instead "focus on diplomatically isolating" it if it continues to support groups that have links to international terror. On Thursday the US military in Afghanistan dropped its GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast, dubbed the "Mother of All Bombs" in combat for the first time on Daesh group hideouts, killing up to 95 militants. The attack triggered global shock waves, with some condemning the use of Afghanistan as what they called a testing ground for the weapon, and against a militant group that is not considered as big a threat as the resurgent Taliban. No details issued on who he is to meet, how long the stay , what is the message being conveyed, will there be a courtesy call on Ganja, additional moolah announcements etc etc

Additional information now available !

Mc Master has met with PM Nawaz Sharif and discussed various issues. Pakistan, India relations were discussed too and McMaster offered once again to help resolve the crises between the two states.
PM Nawaz also told him about the progress of the operation against terrorists and said there was zero tolerance against them.
Mohammad Ishaq Dar Ex Finance Minister of Pakistan and Minister for Economic Affairs, The Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatimi and National Security Advisor of Pakistan Nasir Janjua and Sartaj Aziz were part of the meeting .Recently US had offered to mediate in resolving Pakistan and India conflict. Pakistan had welcomed the offer while India did not give a positive response. No meeting planned with "Fauji honchos" , who are real source of power in Pakiland

Pakistanis Accept "Propaganda Diet " Fed To Them On 1965 War Right Up To This Day !

1965: How Pakistan won the war of propaganda
The myth of ‘victory’ was created after the war had ended, in order to counter Indian claims of victory on the one hand and to shield the Ayub regime and the army from criticism on the other :D
For the past five decades, Pakistan has officially celebrated September 6 as ‘Defence Day’ in remembrance of its historic ‘victory’ against India in the 1965 War. This year we celebrated the golden jubilee of that ‘victory’. Air force planes dominated the capital’s skies for a whole week as pilots rehearsed for the Defence Day fly-past, setting off car alarms. Wartime songs ruled the airwaves. Electronic and social media was abuzz with stories of the heroic sacrifices rendered by the members of the armed forces for the defense of the country and how the Indians were taught a befitting lesson for their aggression upon the motherland. Vows were made to rekindle the ‘spirit of 1965’, as the country faces old and new internal and external threats.
Most Pakistanis haven’t even heard of the army’s failed attempt to ‘liberate’ Kashmir through ‘Operation Gibraltar’ which was launched a month before the Indians launched their attack on the Lahore front, or ‘Operation Grand Slam’ which was launched in order to relieve pressure from the Line of Control (then called the Ceasefire Line) as the Indian army captured the strategic Kargil heights and the Haji Pir Pass. This ignorance is for obvious reasons; for these events find no mention in the official narrative, even to date, despite the fact that we live in the much touted Information Age. :D
On a strategic level, Pakistan failed to achieve the objective of liberating Kashmir for which it had initiated the conflict in the first place and in turn lost crucial territory on the Lahore and Sialkot fronts (which were retrieved through the Tashkent Agreement).
The myth of ‘victory’ was created after the war had ended, in order to counter Indian claims of victory on the one hand and to shield the Ayub regime and the army from criticism on the other. Pakistan’s generals might not have won the war on the battlefield, but they managed to win it in the people’s minds. It was a propaganda victory any army would envy.
It makes sense for rival official propaganda machines on both sides to make tall claims of victory during and right after the war. However, for Pakistan’s security establishment to successfully and convincingly paddle this myth even after five decades points out towards the effectiveness of its propaganda and public relations apparatus which sustains an overall positive image of the military in the polity at any cost. This positive image is then cashed for expanding the military’s political power and shielding itself from legitimate criticism and accountability. That is why it is important to continue churning and reinforcing the official myth of victory. And that is also the reason why it is important to celebrate this myth every year. And also the myth of one Muslim soldier is equal to 10 bania soldiers, which has now been laid to rest after the creation of Bangladesh :D

In Pakistan, Isn't it illegal for Clerics to perform Islamic Namaz-e-Janaza for a dead Ahmedi ? This would be blasphemy in itself causing the Mullah to get Qadrified himself.
Qadri was hanged because he killed a RAPE Punjabi Mussalmaan. Lucky for Gazis of Mardan Univ that Mashal khan was a Non Rape Ahmedi so a fair game.

Barkha Dutt Weighs In On "Indian Spy Episode" :D

Pakistan’s move to execute alleged Indian ‘spy’ may be a ploy to sabotage the prime minister - Washington Post.
By Barkha Dutt
Are India and Pakistan an execution away from possibly the worst crisis in South Asia since the Mumbai terrorist attacks of 2008? India has warned of “consequences” for “premeditated murder” if Pakistan hangs Kulbhushan Jadhav, a former naval officer, who was sentenced to death on charges of espionage by a secret military court. From Washington, what may seem to be a routine spat between two quarreling neighbors is a reminder that democracy in Pakistan remains a cosmetic mask camouflaging the real power center — the country’s military and intelligence agencies.
In this case, India has rubbished the claim that Jadhav is a spy, instead arguing that he was kidnapped by Pakistan’s intelligence agencies from Iran and mysteriously produced inside Pakistan’s troubled Balochistan area. India says that his videotaped ‘confession’ (released last year) was coerced and that no spy would travel on a covert mission carrying an Indian passport. India says that 14 different requests for consular access have been denied, in breach of international protocol
In any case, whether Jadhav is a spy is moot. What is beyond dispute is that the Pakistan Army’s declaration of a death sentence for him via a clandestine court-martial breaks with all standard practice; it is almost an open invitation to escalation from India.
Shockingly, the announcement of Jadhav’s death sentence this past week was made by the Pakistan Army and not the government’s foreign office. The sentencing seemed to take the Nawaz Sharif-led civilian government entirely by surprise, even as Indians were convulsed with rage. Pakistan’s foreign minister Sartaj Aziz said last year that there was no “conclusive evidence” against Jadhav. ( Good point !)
So the sudden announcement appears to be as much about Nawaz vs. the Pakistani Army as it is about India vs. Pakistan. With Pakistan’s military stripping away the veneer of authority from its civilian prime minister, the aim could be to further weaken him and ensure that he is unable to steer the wheel in the direction of a dialogue with India. Ganja Sharif is not interested in the nitty-gritty of governance . As long as he is on the throne, ( even in name only !)and his Echendee is not "disturbed" ( as was the mischief done by Raheel) - it is OK with him !
If Nawaz is allowed to finish his term next year, it will be only the second time in Pakistan’s history that an elected civilian government would have completed its five-year tenure. But while that may make Pakistan appear that it is in a post-coup era, the country remains a military democracy, where there is more power in the barracks than the ballot. ( the facade of "democracy" shown to the world !)
Last year, banners surfaced asking for the powerful army chief Gen. Raheel Sharif to take over government; Imran Khan, the cricketer turned opposition leader, echoed the slogan. When Raheel Sharif finally retired (he now heads the Saudi Arabia-led Muslim alliance against terrorism) he was the first military chief in 20 years to not seek an extension. IMO, it was Ganja Sharif who must have put in a "few good words" on his behalf to the Head Of The Two Holy Mosques in Saudi
Thus, the surprise secret trial of Jadhav and the shock announcement look like another opportunity for the Pakistan Army to upend a prime minister who is already vulnerable, as Nawaz Sharif is facing an impending court verdict against his family members in the Panama papers scandal. On a recent trip to Pakistan, I was told that he was trying to resuscitate the gasping India-Pakistan dialogue and that a back channel had opened up between the national security advisers of the two countries. The Jadhav death sentence ends all of that; India has scrapped scheduled maritime talks with Pakistan as tensions spiral. And as the prime minister’s authority stands diminished, that could be precisely what the Pakistan military wanted.
“The timing and manner of announcement of the Jadhav decision indicates that it is either a bargaining chip to exchange someone in India’s custody or is meant to deter the country’s civilian prime minister from any new initiatives to mend fences with India,” Hussain Haqqani, Pakistan’s former ambassador to the United States, told me. Haqqani was the diplomat who brokered the release of CIA contractor Raymond Davis, who was convicted of double murder in Pakistan. Like all seasoned practitioners of statecraft, he knows that Pakistan is unlikely to take things to a dangerous precipice with India over the arrest of a spy; the motive lies elsewhere. India has not publicly gloated about the mysterious disappearance of Zahir
Another explanation: Pakistan wants to use Jadhav as leverage to counter the aggressive global push by Delhi to isolate Islamabad as the perpetrator of state-sponsored terrorism. But the Narendra Modi government has never gone by the conventional playbook on Pakistan. From dropping in to visit Nawaz Sharif on his birthday to surgical strikes across the line of control, the Indian prime minister has followed his own script of shock and awe on Pakistan, in both friendship and hostility. Pakistan’s move on the tactical chessboard may prove to be a gambit gone wrong if India decides to play back in kind. :D

This (wo)mans article is wrong in so many places, it is amazing.

He starts off by doing an equal equal between India and Pakistan, for the benefit of the west public
(Pakis are getting a hard on, while the west walas are now interested and will want to read on - afterall she got the basic premise right from their POV)

She then goes on to doing another == by making herself (and her west readership) as independent bystanders examining the counter claims of the two parties. So the fact that Jadhav was kidnapped by the talibs from Chahbahar and then sold to the ISI is == to the fiction that the ISI/ISPR is spinning, that of a spy, who is now the reason for all that ails balochistan. According to the Pakistanis, Kulbhushan Jadhav has connections with everyone from the Israeli PM, to Trump to RAA to NDS to Asif Ali Zardari and his right hand man Uzair Baloch and all the way to Evil Moodi and Ajit Doval.
At this point the Al-Bakis are about to have a premature mijjile phyrr...

Then this journalist changes tactics to blame India for kidnapping a Paki retired karnail for possibly shaming El-Bakistan - Oh the horror!!!
She forgets, there is no official confirmation that the guy is in indian custody or what all ragas he has been singing in, if at all he has spilled all the beans or not. Ms Butt, seems to be beseeching her western audience to step in, put pressure on bad india and release the goatnapped karnail. She is desperate for more more information on the karnail, one can see. Hmm, it seems that the ISI is too - what a co-incidence onlee!

The rest of her article and analysis is run of the mill. Casting aspersions on Nawaz Sharif's survival etc, may be music to her BFF half-is-suar and his ISI handlers, but is hardly the truth. Badmash is firmly ensconced in the seat of power, as he lords over the Pakistani punjab, has an Ahmedi COAS and a possibly shia ISI chief. He can easily do a 'Insulted the prophet" gambit on either one of those two when he chooses to, besides both are new to power, and must be still grateful to badmash - a little bit.

She is still pimping for the pakis. India has not said a word about the ISI officer and will not say anything. She is just helping pakis claim that India has him. Personally instead of exchange or any talks I prefer if we go for the kill by eliminating a lot of serving ISI officers and families inside pakistan to send a message.

Top Trump aide in Pakistan says terrorism must be fought 'in all forms': US
McMaster - a US Army general who served in the American-led international force in Afghanistan - indicated frustration with Pakistan in an interview with an Afghan news channel on Sunday."As all of us have hoped for many, many years, we have hoped that Pakistani leaders will understand that it is in their interest to go after these groups less selectively than they have in the past," he told TOLO News in Kabul."And the best way to pursue their interest in Afghanistan and elsewhere is through diplomacy not through the use of proxies that engage in violence."In Pakistan, McMaster's gave no interviews and the official statement on his visit was more diplomatically couched."General McMaster expressed appreciation for Pakistan's democratic and economic development, and stressed the need to confront terrorism in all its forms," the US Embassy said in a statement.McMaster met Prime Minister Sharif and Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa as well as top foreign policy and national security officials."The prime minister conveyed Pakistan's readiness to work with the international community to explore ways in which the Afghan crisis can be resolved," Sharif's office said in a statement. It also said Sharif would welcome US mediation in Pakistan's disputes with India.

Retirement, Promotion or Job change ?

Taliban's former spokesman surrenders: Pak Army
Ehsanullah Ehsan, former spokesman of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and a senior leader of a splinter Taliban terror group has surrendered to the security agencies, Pakistan Army announced today.

Ehsan, a top leader of the Jamaat-ul-Ahrar terror group, had turned himself in to Pakistan's security agencies, Military spokesman Major General Asif Ghafoor told reporters.

A known face of violence in Pakistan as former spokesman of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Ehsan joined Islamic State linked Jamaat-ul-Ahrar outfit after 2014 military operation 'Zarb-e-Azb'.

Major General Ghafoor said that it was big achievement for Pakistan that "our biggest enemies" were surrendering. :rotfl:

"I want to take this opportunity to announce that Ehsanullah Ehsan, the former spokesperson of the TTP and a leader of the Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, has turned himself into our security agencies," he told reporters.

He did not share more details about the surrender.

In 2014, after a split in the TTP, Ehsan had become a spokesperson for the Jamaat-ul-Ahrar — what was then a newly- formed splinter group of the Taliban.

Ehsan had said at the time that 70 to 80 per cent of the TTP commanders and fighters had also joined the splinter group.

Jamaat-ul-Ahrar was behind the horrific attack on Lahore's Mall Road earlier this year, which sent shock waves through the country. Thirteen people were killed and over 100 injured in the attack, which targetted top police officials.

On March 31, Jamaat-ul-Ahraar claimed responsibility of an attack in Parachinar that killed 24 and injured 68 people.

Major General Ghafoor said operation 'Radd-ul Fassad' launched in February against militants was going on successfully and no militant groups would be spared.

He said 15 major operation were carried out as part of it and 108 militants were killed and 4,510 suspects arrested.

"The people, the state and the institutions of Pakistan have made considerable progress in the betterment of the country's security situation. We will completely destroy militancy, " he said.

He also said the military courts had decided 274 cases and awarded death sentence to 161 militants.

He said border with Afghanistan was being fenced to stop infiltration of militants from across the border.

Pakis may drink as much propaganda Kool-aid as they want, but the truth slips out sometime

...On Friday afternoon, the 3rd of December, 1971, I took an Islamabad-bound flight that made a transit stop. Whilst checking in at Hotel Intercontinental I was surprised to find all Islamabad-bound passengers being brought into the hotel lobby. India had attacked West Pakistan. All PIA planes had to fly out to safety. An emergency was declared and all PIA personnel were required to report back to their bases. But how were they to do so? There were no flights and the trains were attacked by the Indian Air force at will! Unlike the 1965 war, Indian aircraft now virtually controlled our skies. The sirens would keep screaming the whole night, whilst frightened and sleepy guests would be rushed to the basement of the hotel.

On the evening of the 4th of December I ventured out to the Lahore Railway Station hoping to catch a train to Karachi. The platform was filled with dead and injured brought by a train that had been attacked in the Sialkot sector. In spite of this, I proceeded with this frightful journey that took me 41 hours to reach Karachi. Every time there was the fear of an air strike, all passengers were asked to disembark from the train and run in all directions for cover.

Finally when we reached Karachi, the city was covered under a blanket of thick black smoke coming from an oil depot that had been hit by the Indian air strikes. We never felt so helpless…

. . . So the sudden announcement appears to be as much about Nawaz vs. the Pakistani Army as it is about India vs. Pakistan.
When Ayub ascended the throne, there was dancing in the streets and everybody welcomed it. Soon thereafter, he became a villain.

Yahya was supported by Army officers to dethrone Ayub and soon Yahya had to go, branded as a drunkard, a womanizer and the guy who lost more than half of Pakistan to secession.

Zia was welcomed too to provide stability, just like Ayub before, but is today conveniently painted as the villain who created all the problems of Pakistan today.

When Musharraf usurped power, he was variously described as a 'no-nonsense, ramrod straight General' etc, there was again dancing in the streets; but, soon enough, all sections of the society got vexed with him. Everybody knows about his enormous duplicity. He is being talked of along the lines of Zia.

When Kayani became the COAS, he was proclaimed as a "General's General" but now he is being widely criticized.

Raheel Sharif was similarly acclaimed when he took command but all that acclamation evaporated too. He now leads a Sunni NATO force against Shias.

Now, it is the turn of Bajwa who was similarly welcomed as a manna from the Heaven but already he has shown his true colours.

The same is true of all ISI DGs.

One can understand Pakistan or the US of A celebrating these Generals when they assume power. But, even many Indians fall for the glowing descriptions only to find sooner than later that they are all the same, if not worse than their predecessors.

There will always be a class of Indians praising paki generals ...starting with khushwant Singh who disparaging ly compared India khadi politicians with the tip top ayub khan.

Are you sure they fall for it? I would say they aim to make others fall for this rhetoric much like a PR agency and in turn are suitably compensated.

Could it be that this Zahir guy of Paki ISI was conveniently made to disappear by ISI and then blame Raa for it.
Now thru back channels, you demand a guy who is not in the custody of Raa and then go back to assassinate Jadhav and via paid media proclaim that India never was interested in swap of spies even though Bakis were large hearted to offer this deal to India.
Only Good thiing is that we know that unlike earlier Govts, Thappad to Bakistan will come from MAD and Bakis will not know what hit them. This is the only certainty of this play.

...and then present Zahir to international media with a story that he escaped from the clutches of RAW thus showing Indian agencies in poor light. Plausible but I think India got Zahir. I think the reason why India has not gone public is to make an offer of exchange to Pak army via back channel protecting their H&D. If they release Jadhav then Zahir will mysteriously turn up in Dubai after his failed job interview in Lumbini and then land in Isloo in a PIA plane. The big question is how will Modi Govt respond if Jadhav is executed.

Bigger question is , what makes us think that Pakis will release Jadhav. After having raised the stakes, The only other outcome could be life sentence for KJ. That would hardly be a reason to release Paki dumbass. Why should Paki Colonel be so much Important to ISI.

My fear is that Pakis will kill KJ some way or the other to push this envelope more and throw a gauntlet to MAD. Any escalation suits them better because Pakis still think that India will never attack them due Nukes + Cheen and CPEC will bring them enough money to stand upto USA. A minor army action here or there is not going to hurt GHQ in any ways.

In all scenarios, unless India can get KJ escape from the jail by SF action, This is going to hang around for sometime and then we will wake upto one morning with the news of Killing of KJ. To be fair, NM govt has very little option otherwise Pakis would not have raised the stakes like this. This can't be to get India to talk to them because India can walk away from talks anytime.

1. India can abrogate IWT
2. Can stop travel of people to India
3. Can block Karachi port
4. Heat up LOC

what else are the options ?

China says CPEC has 'no direct link' with Kashmir issue

BEIJING: China on Tuesday defended the strategic China-Pakistan Economic Corridor passing through PoK over which India has lodged strong protests, saying the project has "no direct link" with the Kashmir issue as it was an "economic" venture.

Seeking to allay India's concerns, China also said New Delhi was welcome to actively participate in the 'One Belt One Road' (OBOR) project, a pet initiative of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

"First, I want to say that we welcome India's participation in the building of the One Belt One Road project," Chinese Foreign Minister Wank Yi said addressing a media briefing on the OBOR summit to be held here from May 14 -15. Why is China "begging" India to join CPEC & OBOR? Surely it must be to ENTRAP India!" I have a Blain Wave : India should deny Clapistan to join - tlavelse the India - Bangladesh - Myanmar - China Ploject!

OBOR is the official name for the multi-billion dollars Silk Road project initiated by Xi to expand China's connectivity and strategic influence in the neighbourhood and around the world.

The OBOR summit has posed a dilemma for India as the USD 46 billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), a flagship project of the initiative which passes through the Pakistan- occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Commenting for the first time on India's objections over the CPEC, Wank said, "You also mentioned CPEC, I want to reiterate that economic corridor is economic." Mistel Wank lie with stlaight face!

It is for the purpose of serving economic cooperation and development, Wank said, replying to a question about what specific steps China was willing to take to address India's concerns to enable it take part in the OBOR summit. Mr. Wank should undelstand that India's conceln is "NOT TO HAVE CPEC transgressing India's Tellitoly of Clapistani Occupied Kashmil"

"It (CPEC) has no direct link with (the) political and boundary dispute. Certain sections of the CPEC have raised concern on the Indian side. But these disputes are not the result of the economic corridor and economic activities," Wank said, defending the project over which India has protested to China in the past.

Economic activities in these regions are not the direct result of the CPEC. China has been providing support to Pakistan in these areas for many years, Wank said.

"This is a contribution China is making for the development of neighbouring countries, it is a constructive contribution China is making," he said.

"As for the dispute of Kashmir, China's position remained unchanged. Also, CPEC has no relationship with the dispute in certain regions...if India wants to take part in the OBOR, there are many channels and ways," he said.

Wang also said China has taken positive note of India's participation in another project -- the Bangladesh, China, India, Myanmar (BCIM) corridor.

"India is taking part in the project in its own way. For example, we have this BCIM which is one of the major economic corridors China is planning with the neighbouring countries," he said.

"We have taken note of India's positive attitude on this. In addition to the BCIM economic corridor, we can also have further discussion of cooperation on the OBOR," Wang said.

He said 28 heads of state and government will participate.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Sri Lankan Premier Ranil Wickremesinghe and Myanmar State Councillor Aung San Suu Kyi are among the leaders that have confirmed their participation.

"Although, an Indian leader will not be here but India will have a representative," Wank said, without specifying who would be representing India.

"We welcome Indian representative, members of the Indian business community and financial community to take part in the discussions at the summit," Wank said.

Representatives of 110 countries besides UN Secretary General, heads of World Bank and IMF will also be taking part in the event, Wank said.

The summit will have 1,200 participants, Wank said.

The only way CPEC becomes financially viable is if there is trade with India.

CPEC MAY BE THE FUTURE ELIXIR TO ALL PAKI PROBLEMS BUT MEANWHILE THIS IS THE REALITY !

Massive outages make Lahore ‘a living hell’
LAHORE - Almost 90 per cent of Lahore plunged into darkness at 10pm owing to huge gap between electricity demand and supply in Lesco system, pushing the power distributor to conduct forced loadshedding in the metropolitan for hours
“We are living in hell. We have never seen such blackouts in the start of summer,” said Muhammad Ehsan, a resident of Ali Town, Raiwind Road.
Moreover, more than 100 grid stations of Lesco, Gepco, and Fesco were repotedly closed over forced loadshedding, plunging half of the country into darkness Pakjabis can draw consolation that Aam Abduls from other provinces are also included in their misery

Pakis are not only hypocrites but also devoid of any common sense.
Just few weeks back, CJ of IHC & SHC were thundering and threatening to shut down SM in Pakistan if Blasphemous content wasn't removed from SM and the Interior Minister of Pakistan joined the party.
Now that Paki Mangoes have taken a step further and started removing Blasphemy spreading people from earth, Why so much hulla-gulla in Pakistan. After all if someone is accused of blasphemy , the only recourse is death. Did not uber Pakis Like Jinnah and 1ball called the killer of Rajpal & Sons publisher as a Gazi and the finest Musalmaan.
On Thursday, the IHC ordered the government to open an investigation into online "blasphemy", threatening to ban social media networks if they failed to censor content deemed insulting to Islam.
"We will go to any extent [including] permanently blocking all such social media websites if they refuse to cooperate," the minister said in a statement.
No country can allow religious sentiments to be hurt or top state functionaries to be subjected to ridicule under what the minister described as "the pretext of freedom of expression."
In his remarks, Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui directed the officials to expedite the investigation and also warned them to "handle the case carefully".
"Anyone who committed blasphemy will not be able to dodge the law. We will pass an order such that no one will dare to do so in the future," he said.
"Some philosophers in media believe that their consent should be sought before any step is taken," he said, while commenting on the criticism this case has received.
What if the team that IHC formed found blasphemous content being spread by Mashal Khan and leaked his name to Univ students, Do they expect Pakis to goto Police and file FIR if somebody is accused of derogatory language against Mohammad.

Pakistan says captured Islamic State bomber before planned Easter attack  :

IMO, I would characterize this as a "publicity stunt" - ( the way it is being headlined here !) maybe, to extract "more moolahs" from the gullible firangis to show "how the Paki military and the Paki govt is serious in combating terrorism and protecting Christian and Other Minorities from the "Radical Islamists". In the meantime, what is forgotten is that the constant drumbeat of Islam, Islam and more Islam (during at least the last 50 + years) has produced this pathetic situation and no one dare challenge the mullahs or the military of encouraging this "Islamic genie" out of the bottle in order to "protect the Islamic Ideology of Pakistan"- so called ! Look what happened last week ; a normal Muslim student was beaten to death in the name of blasphemy in an University !!

Many years ago we used to have a paki towel thread where articles on pakis throwing in their towels (when comparing themselves to the Indian economic growth) were cited. I miss that thread. But here's an opinion by a paki TV journalist that just brings back great memories. Key phrases tied to towels are cited for your reading pleasure.

Arrested development
But decades of lopsided development – often forced in fits and starts – have resulted in glaring omissions and neglect. That is where we are not even trying.
What is wrong with us?
Have you ever wondered why our exports keep declining constantly and sharply?
But there is a limit to which you can blame the government for societal failure.
Where is our resourcefulness as a people?
Whose responsibility is this?
And to top it all, there are accusations of plagiarism
And finally, tolerance...We thought we could wing it.
it’s like banging your head against a brick wall.
we are already toast.
There you have it, al bakistan in a nut shell (pun intended).

http://nation.com.pk/columns/18-Apr-201 ... immelfahrt

Kulsbhushan’s Himmelfahrt
The Kulbhushan enterprise was directly responsible for 1345 killings of innocent Pakistanis and injury to 7500, the financial cost to Pakistan has been approximately 3 billion USDs mainly in lost business and bad perception affecting tourism, sports (cricket), exports and imports; indirect cost may not be ever known. What about the kith and kin of Pakistanis, who perished due to the Kulbhushan Enterprise and the trauma suffered by loved ones? ‘Spy’ is a benign name and Kulbhushan was a mass murderer with the blood of 1345 Pakistanis dripping through his fingers; the Pakistani ‘liberrati’ and champions of human rights may comment on the plight of families whose bread earners perished in the heinous enterprise called Kulbhushan Yadav.Indian frustration is also apparent as they find Indian-held Kashmir slipping away at a very fast pace, in order to hide their anxiety, the frenzied media, fed by RAW’s omnipresent hand is almost ‘barking at a high pitch’. Kashmir could also spell disaster for India as the adjoining state of Khalistan may be the next to demand autonomy and independence, Sikh diaspora is already gearing up for a global referendum called Khalistan 2020. India has her hands full and would do better to look inwards rather than blaming Pakistan and her intelligence agencies for every pot broken in the potter’s house.Indian response by possible abduction of a retired Pak army officer from Nepal is boomeranging on India’s face; the concocted story prepared by RAW’s propaganda machine and being churned by Indian hostile media besides, it raises some important questions in the conduct of state craft. Is India initiating a new game by abducting Pakistani nationals from foreign lands; especially in the Indian periphery, and, where do we go from here? India must realise that she has more assets in the neighbourhood including Afghanistan and the dangerous precedent of abducting nationals from SAARC countries could trigger a strategic response by other states, where RAW surrogates and spies will be forced to either quit their missions or hide like jackals.
