>>She needs to get a life. I personally do not know of one Sikh friend who does not consume alcohol in copious quantities.

I think she was probably upset by an outsider referring to this jokingly in a gurudwara... No matter what and how much people drink, eat or whatever else outside, this may not be the subject for a joke in a gurudwara, temple or church...

In any event, the matter seems to be settled.

A Number of Confirmed Fatalities’ After Alleged Explosion at Ariana Grande Concert
Police in Manchester, England, have confirmed emergency services responded to “reports of an explosion” at Manchester Arena where Ariana Grande was performing on Monday night.
BBC News correspondent Daniel Sandford reports the situation is being treated “as a possible terrorist incident.”
The “Side to Side” singer had just finished her performance when two “loud bangs” were reportedly heard between 10:40 p.m. and 10:45 p.m., according to the Manchester Evening News. “We saw young girls with blood on them, everyone was screaming and people were running,” one concertgoer said.

BBC reports 19 dead and 50 injured. Second device destroyed by bomb squad.
21000 fans attended the music concert hall. Device went of in foyer as fans were exiting.

Quite malicious demented minds.

Such concerts being obvious targets in UK and France, how did the terrorist(s) manage to get the devices in? or even close to the arena. Total security failure

It's not a terrorist attack, it's a suspected terrorist "incident".

Death toll of 19 being reported.

While there is no claim for responsibility and nothing is known as yet about the perpetrator, the reported fact that a suicide bomber was involved and that it took place in the UK at Manchester would suggest to me that this attack is an act of Mohammadden Terrorism likely perpetrated by an individual with origins in the Mohammadden Terrorism Fomenting Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

In sum, suggestive of a another attack by a “Bak Pak”, BRF shorthand for Back pack wearing Pakistani attack like the London Underground bombing attack, perhaps disgruntled by US President Donald Trump ignoring the Mohammadden Terrorism Fomenting Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s efforts in quelling Mohammadden Terrorism she had created in an attempt to intimidate neighbours like India.

Wait and watch:

At Least 19 Killed in Terror Attack Outside Ariana Grande Concert : 50 more injured as suspected suicide bomber targets concertgoers
On Monday night, Ariana Grande's concert at the Manchester Arena ended with an emergency evacuation after reports of explosions were heard. ………………..

The Greater Manchester Police Department reported 19 people were killed and about 50 more people were injured by an explosion as they were exiting the venue……………

Police believe the attack was perpetrated by a suicide bomber wearing a backpack …………………

Awful news.Huge casualties.Deepest sympathies to victims' and their families.Simply diabolic and definitely home-grown Islamic terrorism.
News channels bemoan the fact there are so many hundreds/thousands of suspects and not enough police/intl forces enough to investigate them.
This attack is bound to harden public opinion and will definitely affect the UK elections, where parties who want a stronger anti-immigration policy will benefit.May give UKIP a new lease of life as it is in a perilous condition.

Teens, children, and parents feared victims of Manchester blast
Nineteen people have been killed and at least 59 people left injured following a suspected terrorist bombing during an Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena.

Children and teenagers are feared among the dead and injured because of the very young demographic of the pop star's fans, with desperate parents and relatives waiting through the night for news of loved ones.

If confirmed as terrorism it would be the worst attack in the UK since 56 people were killed in the 7 July London bombings in 2005

Footage showed thousands of people fleeing the arena in a panic after an explosion ripped through the foyer as people milled out of the arena at 10.33pm.

An injured woman is helped by emergency services in Manchester (London News Pictures)
Eyewitnesses said the explosion was heard outside the auditorium after the artist had finished her show and left the stage.

There was initial confusion on social media as to whether the loud bang could have been gun shots, or even a speaker exploding, but police confirmed the incident was being treated as suspected terrorism as the grim death toll was announced.

Reuters reported that US intelligence sources believe the attack may have been the work of a suicide bomber, although this is unconfirmed.

Casualties were taken to five hospitals throughout the city, with unconfirmed reports from medical staff of '"shrapnel like injuries" being treated and of nuts and bolts found on the ground outside the arena.

Concert goer, Josh Elliot, told the BBC there was pandemonium and confusion as people tried to flee the scene, some reportedly covered in blood and many in tears.

He said: "She finished her last song .. and we heard like a really basey bang, and all I can remember is just everyone ... was just running out... people were covered in blood, some people were having a fight, it was quite scary."

Ariana Grande said she had 'no words' to express her feelings (AP)
One fan leaving the concert described how the bangs ripped through the arena, which has a capacity of 21,000. It is not known how many people were attending the concert, but the majority of the American pop star's fans are young females in their teens and twenties.

"The lights came on after the gig and people were starting to leave. As I turned to the left there was an explosion. It was about 40ft behind us near one of the exits. We just thought it was people messing about then it happened again. Another explosion sounded.

“Then we saw the smoke. Everyone just fled. Some people were injured. We saw blood on people when we got outside. People were just running all over the place.

“People have said it was a speaker or balloons but it wasn’t. It was explosions.”

Majid Khan, 22, said: "I and my sister, along with a lot of others were seeing Ariana Grande perform at Manchester Arena, and we were all exiting the venue when around 10.40-10,45pm-ish, a huge bomb-like bang went off that hugely panicked everyone and we were all trying to flee the arena.

"It was one bang and essentially everyone from the other side of the arena where the bang was heard from suddenly came running towards us as they were trying to exit Trinity Way and that was blocked so everyone was just running to any exit they could find as quickly as they could.

"Everyone was in a huge state of panic, calling each other as some had gone to the toilet whilst this had gone off, so it was just extremely disturbing for everyone there."
He said there were "a good 20 to 30 people lying injured" close to the box office just outside the main arena.
"Whoever's done it has done it on a kids' concert," he said.
Another eyewitness said he was thrown "30 feet in the air" by the force of the explosion which was reported to have shaken the entire building.

Another witness, Karen who was at the concert with her husband and children described the pandemonium as thousands tried to escape the venue after the explosion sound was heard.

"It was just chaos... nobody was organising anybody to do anything."

She added that she saw a woman in a wheelchair being pushed over as people desperately tried to get out after someone shouted there had been a bomb.

Ariana Grande said on Twitter she was "broken" by the devastating attack.
Latest statement on incident at Manchester Arena
5:40 AM - 23 May 2017

Police confirmed a bomb disposal squad carried out a controlled explosion of a suspect device around 1am, although this turned out to be benign.

Prime Minister Theresa May, who will chair an emergency Cobra meeting at 9am tomorrow morning, said in a statement: "We are working to establish the full details of what is being treated by the police as an appalling terrorist attack.

"All our thoughts are with the victims and the families of those who have been affected."

Other politicians including Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, Manchester Metro Mayor Andy Burnham and MP Lucy Powell expressed their shock and offered condolences on Twitter.

Manchester City football club tweeted: "It's with great sadness we hear of the terrible events at the Arena. Our hearts go out to all affected and to our city's emergency services.''

Offers of help and shelter for people stranded in the city began flooding in on social media.

We are currently treating this as a terrorist incident until we have further information …
This is clearly a very concerning time for everyone. We are doing all that we can.
Greater Manchester Chief Constable Ian Hopkins said at a press conference in the early hours of Tuesday morning that the force is working with other officials to investigate the circumstances of the explosion.

He urged people to avoid the area while the investigation continues.

He said: "We are currently treating this as a terrorist incident until we know otherwise. We are working closely with the national counter-terrorism policing network and UK intelligence partners.

"This is clearly a concerning time for people but we are doing all we can, working with local and national agencies to support those affected and gather information about what happened last night."

A police hotline to assist those concerned about loved ones who may have been caught up in the explosion should call 0161 856 9400.[/quote]

Trump later, UK is a thick pal of Saudi before US.
Unfortunately same order will follow
>Outrage & anger
>who did it is a dead man walking
> World must come together (while Trump & May make visit to Saudi)
> Stop the hate/love must rise
>terror has no religion
> 'Spirit of Manchester' (replace with Mumbai/NY etc as per incident)

bummers have learned to make bums from chemistry sets and hair dressing supplies, just like the irish bummers learned to make them from fertiliser and weed killer - its not mil grade explosives... (lets see what the forensics come back with); and if you are doing soosai then no need for clever mercury tilt switches (which the irish liked to use)

one of the key things cops search for these dins with 'mujahids' is web history of downloading 'recipe books'

UK as a leader of the free world has to uphold the rule of law.It is immoral to stereotype muslims and the UK Govt has to protect the right of muslims to worship and follow their way of life .Britain has had a long and fruitful relationship with wahabbis . Muslims should enjoy the same freedom of speech and association in UK as their fellow subjects of the Queen and these rights have to be defended at all costs. One hopes the muslim minority is not intimidated by the state and they continue to continue to enjoy unhindered equal rights guaranteed by the European charter. This is a testing time for liberals and we in BRF hope Britain does not become an intolerant, hate filled bigoted society but one that is inclusive and in continuous uninterrupted cultural dialogue with the muslims ,many millions of whom are victims of oppressive western policies for more than a century.UK has a moral responsibility as a champion of human rights and globalism to accept atleast a million refugees from the ME every year.

It is quite possible that the perpetrator of this incident was inspired by the freedom movements in palestine, yemen, bahrain or syria. The UK has to go into these root causes and remove the grievances and festering wounds created by british imperialism. These mishaps are nothing more than symptoms of a deeper disease.

Top hypocrites . Within minutes of attack it was labeled as terrorist attack. What if was revenge attack by some teenager whose GF went to concert with someone else? What if it was IRA is starting new attacks. Or it could be an attack by IS militant. In Mumbai when scums were on killing spree they were militants as per BBC. But where ever it is on UK soil it is terrorist attack. People died and I condemned the attack but UK has to understand that an terrorist is terrorist, be it in Africa,India or UK.

See Enn Enn says that a 23-year-old has been arrested, so maybe not all soosai.
Location choice is strange but unsurprising. What next? Next CNN-HiC-AlQaeda-ISIS concert seems a not-too-safe place to visit anymore.
Gossip website TMZ obtained video of singer Ariana Grande, accompanied by one of her backup dancers, rudely licking donuts on a display while the worker is in the back preparing a fresh batch. After being caught when the worker brings out more donuts, Grande launches into a very unpatriotic tirade. “What the f–k is that?” she said. “I hate Americans. I hate America.” Grande, a noted liberal, has come out in support of {deleted - guess..} ahead of the 2016 election.)
Oh, BTW, are we selling :I AM A MAN-CHestURIAN buttons? Must be tons of desis rushing to buy those...
Sorry. Very insensitive I know, all those kids killed and hurt, all those families grieving. But... did the Pakis' jollies in Mumbai, Srinagar, Srinagar, Mumbai, Srinagar, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Iraq, Syria, convince these fine people that there MAY be a slight problem, that they need to start worrying about? Then again, if the music was good and I could get tickets I might have gone there too.
