4+2 in Rampur sector
2 in Tral
2 BAT

If we were to add 3 more unconfirmed BAT, whose bodies were reportedly dragged back to the other side, it goes up to 13.

No one should care what surname or religion he or she was because their guns and grenades don't either.

We should not allow this jokers to have 6*3 feet of out land wasted on them. They should be feed to our fish in Indian ocean leaving only their names on this earth to glorify about by their ilk..
Cheers to the boys!
One simple thing will take away his right to hoors -- some pork in his mouth, could be any part of the pig's body but most preferably the pig's p*nis.
If that cannot be done, then cremate him with whatever means are available in a "humane" manner -- two grenades or so might already have been part of the operation.
Put bodies in wood chipper. Feed slurry to pigs. Handover pig shit to those interested in mortal remains.

How a stray dog helped CRPF foil Fidayeen attack on camp
An adopted stray dog in the CRPF’s Sumbal camp helped in thwarting a major suicide strike by four foreign terrorists early on Monday in Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

Constable K. Dinesh Raja, 25, who was manning a picket at the gates of the the 45 Battalion camp that houses hundreds of personnel, toldThe Hindu that the dog started barking around 3 a.m. at the bushes after seeing some movement there. The four terrorists hiding there were killed later.

Hour-long encounter

“We heard the dog bark and suddenly a burst of fire came from across the road. It seems the terrorists panicked. Two persons were hiding in the bushes and I fired at them. My colleague Prafulla Kumar, who was manning the watchtower also fired from above. Two terrorists were injured in the first round of fire but since they had come to be killed, they charged on,” said Mr. Raja, who has been posted at the camp since December last.

CRPF commandant Iqbal Ahmad said the encounter lasted for more than an hour. The forces also had to face a power outage during the incident. “There were two more terrorists who had taken position nearby. They provided covering fire to the other two to help them storm the camp. Our Quick Reaction Team was mobilised and in the middle of the encounter, there was an electricity outage. We fired illuminating smokes so as not to lose track of the terrorists as they would have escaped taking advantage of the dark,” said Mr. Ahmad.

Mr. Kumar (25) of Munger in Bihar, who has been posted at the camp for four-and-a-half years, said since he was at a height, he could see the terrorists were barely 40-50 metres away from the camp. “The injured terrorists continued to charge towards the camp, I kept firing till they were killed,” he said.

Wagah border exchange of guards and the terrorist rites tamasha has to end soon. If we kill 4-5 terrorists a day at the end of each summer a lot of time and effort is wasted in the pig body handling. We should soon start buringn them all in a pit. Would be good to see who protests? :D from both the indian paki and the paki paki camps

Rashtriya Rifles in a spot, Finance Ministry objects to permanent mandate -Oct 12 2009

An old article from 2009 according to which UPA even thought of shutting down Rashtriya Rifles, I think Rashtriya Rifles don't have a permanent mandate even today

had a chance to talk to a RR officer on leave at a family function... quick points..a) he does not think militancy situation is militarily grave..he was of the opinion that local kashmiri/hizb for all their bravado/ FB pics/ gear are not well trained for firefights...prefer to hide and do more photo shoots than actual shooting. b) the paki boys are the ones who attack camps etc. better trained and motivated. c) the stone throwing incidents are kind of distracting but once cornered there is no escaping for militants. the stone throwing vids on media tend to present situation as being more grave then in real. d) he said the same boy who is throwing stones if taken into police will throw stones with equal gusto at his past comrades in arms or shoot back. e) still getting lots of info from locals.

Thanks for the details. That's reassuring to hear it from horses mouth.

(Going slight off topic here)

Though militarily it is not as grave, politically, this stone pelters and their propaganda is not good. Whats shown on media(social or elsewhere) over a period of time, do influence normal populi. The same happened in the Telangana which eventually lead to state seperation. Many times earlier, some politician always tried to stroke it, to stay relevant, and failed. But last time it was different, Initially there is not much support for the movement and in many districts there is not even a hint of it.But as the days past, after repeated telecast of visuals on television and social media, support suddenly swelled. Not that many people understand the need for a seperate state. But just that they get influenced by what they repeatedly hear and see.

Another example is the recent Jallikattu agitation.

Never under estimate the power of whats circulating in SM.

SM content has a long tail in terms of becoming outdated and the tail is not under control. This is in contrast with conventional broadcast content which has a quicker decay and full control on the decay curve. Depending on the genre of content, some of it become memes.

Another 5 worms crushed. The pakis are trying to show us that they control the terrorism tap and they can control the flow as they please. This is a direct challenge to the new offensive strategy employed in Kashmir. Good show by our boys until now. Wish them good luck and pray for their safety.

SRINAGAR: Over a dozen security men were injured in five separate terror attacks across Kashmir Valley on Tuesday evening. The terrorists also snatched four service rifles from cops on guard at the ancestral house of a former high court judge in Anantnag in south Kashmir.

Yahoos probably have lost the courage to fight..They are now just throwing granades/ firing from long distance and running away..

Lashkar commander Junaid Mattoo reported killed in ongoing gunfight

Another one bites the dust.

"Mattoo was involved in a day light attack on a police van in which three policemen including an officer was killed last year. His involvement is also suspected in the killing of a policeman in Kulgam on Thursday afternoon.
::
::
Chatter from the terror group suggested that besides Mattoo, the Lashkar militants are believed to be one Azad Malik and a Pakistani national."

Local kashmiri terrorists never had the will to fight unlike the imported ones. The locals terrorists were happy extorting money, killing unarmed civilians and just lob a few grenades, fire and scoot kind of things. They are just like a common bully with a gun but with islamist agenda of hatred against the kafir.

Now that number of foreign rterrorists has come down, this is what we can expect. Big strikes like attacking army camps will always be done by drugged up pakis

Its never a good development when our own Men get killed, period! Your sentiments could have been put in a very different way - that terrorists only start targeting local Police when they start losing local support or their own intel from the elements in the local police. It only means their support is dwindling. RIP those brave who laid their lives for the nation today. The way things are going these days I have full faith those involved would be dispatched to hell soon. There is a saying "Police never forgets!".

What he means is that a insurgency can only be defeated if it gets no support from the public. And there was such a time in the valley but various screw ups by our polity lead to us frittering away some hard won gains. Now if local policemen are being killed hopefully the public will turn against them. This will support CI Ops. Also JKP. And more people will join JKP...as long as they know the terrorists are not winning. If they think we will win and they have a grudge against terrorists they will join the war to eliminate them.

i said its good from counter insurgency pov..same thing happened in Punjab...i am also sad at loss of life of JKP men...the Mehbooba govt should be dismissed ASAP....the CM cant find time to visit their funeral or recognise their sacrifice and advocates talks !! ( i dont know with whom). In punjab once the police was given hand to go after terrorists..they eliminated their families ...they went and killed terrorists who ran away with families to far corners of India... once families were targeted , the insurgency died down.

(Replying to Akshay's post)

I wish this were true, but am not sure.

For example, how many J&K policemen are in favor of Pandit resettlement? Are the Kashmiri Muslims more loyal to their local policemen or to the cause of the Ummah?

These might be uncomfortable questions, but we need to ask them.

Added later: Khalistani terror was different. A significant proportion of Sikhs identified with India & Hinduism, even during the peak of insurgency. The insurgency itself was more political than a deep ideologial rift between Sikhism & Hinduism. With J&K, its different.

@prem kumar..true... but it does give a leg up to the forces. The problem is security forces have not been given free hand to handle the situation ( both JKP and IA). the indian danda should be visible and present. the situation is not as grave..if properly handled can be easily managed. it requires action on many fronts. LOC, hurriyats, their funding, the trade, the hawala and gunning for the terrorists. Why are politicians of JK scared of attending the funeral ? everyone is petrified of the Pakis hired guns in the valley. Looks to me no government is really serious about solving the problem.

few points, unlike the time the terrorists killed 5 policemen while robbing a bank where they tried to deflect the blame on the Army, this time they are openly admitting to the killings

they also are shooting in the face as they seem to think that hitting any other body parts, the security forces may only be injured costing them the perception battle

J&K police is a sieve as far as information leaks are concerned and is a known fact, so its not monolithic and hence expecting a unified position on KPs is not useful

Infiltration, best countered Pakistani militants are fervently trying to gain access through Uri. This is a warning bell to step up counter-terror ops, intelligence — and outreach to Kashmiris
Uri offers multiple choices for targeting. The distance, of 46 km to Baramulla, has several army camps, labour sites, the National Hydro Power Corporation campus and frequent army convoys — all these offer lucrative targets. In December 2014, a terror attack on an artillery gun position at Mohora, on the Jhelum road, led to large-scale casualties. Infiltrated groups can travel further inwards, along routes which are difficult to monitor, and reach Rafiabad, where they become part of the Sopore and Baramulla terror grids.
They should make these as 'honeypot' sites and ambush them
