PEMRA Working Overtime

PEMRA Orders 79 Illegal Urdu Channels to be Blocked
A circular issued by Pakistan Electronic Media Authority (PEMRA) reveals that they have been receiving complaints against channels that are not even registered under their databases – unlicensed and illegal channels – which are airing to local viewers through local cable operators. These channels have usual “Urdu content” in Urdu language and TV service operators, either intentionally or by error, air these channels on their relative distribution networks. The channels have relevant Urdu language and local content which is why operators consider them relevant in their network and decide to air them. The channels occupy slots in distribution networks – the same slots reserved for PEMRA’s licensed TV channels. Moreover, these channels are not covered by PEMRA’s regulatory check and are not under the regulatory authority’s control – they are free to air vulgar, indecent and superstitious content that can be undesirable, unsettling and even misleading for many people.
Long winded preamble to justify closing these channels in the name of UnIslamic content, promotion of Yindoo philosophy, anti-fauj ramblings by these stations . Many Paki observers have recently noted that the nation is essentially under de-facto martial law, and no one knows "which civilian person" is in charge
A total of 79 channels ( that's a lot of channels . Musharaf should be credited for opening the "floodgates" for Paki Media, but now PEMRA is left to clean the mess up ! ) are being aired without any official permission from PEMRA. Most of these channels pointed out by PEMRA are listed below:
The authority has ordered all TV service operators including cable operators to immediately remove the 79 channels termed illegal by PEMRA.Regulation-21 of PEMRA (Distrubution Service Operations) Regulations-2011 states that distribution service licensee shall distribute only those TV channels having valid license from PEMRA. Lists of the licensed TV channels & Landing Rights Permission holders are available for download at PEMRA’s website.

Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Lists Major CPEC Outcomes
Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Lists Major CPEC Outcomes

The outgoing Chinese ambassador to Pakistan, Sun Weidong, has enlisted major outcomes of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). He said that Pakistan will have surplus electricity after November 2017 and the country’s annual growth rate was 3.6% which has gone up to 5.3% with CPEC underway. This is aside from creating 60,000 job opportunities. Statistics "imported" from Sialkot
The Ambassador stated this while briefing the Parliamentary Committee on CPEC, which honoured the outgoing ambassador of China with a presentation of a special plaque in recognition of his services to CPEC and strengthening Pakistan-China ‘all weather friendship’. Pre -Bric or post Bric "storm"
The parliamentary committee on CPEC met with Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed. ( the "suave and smooth" all weather Lawhori politico of Pakiland !) The Chinese ambassador was specially invited. The ambassador gave in-camera briefing to the committee ( why the camera, terrorism concerns ? ) on the progress review of the project.
Ambassador referred to the 19 Early Harvest Projects, ( Orwell's 1984  ) particularly those in the energy sector which had contributed to 1820 MW of electricity and after November 2017, surplus power would be produced. However, Pakistan’s electricity demand is also at its lowest during November and the rest of the winter season.
So one result of CPEC is already evident, in that it has helped resolve Pakistan’s chronic energy crisis. He said that plans were afoot for the convening of the 7th Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC), which is the apex decision making body on CPEC.
Another result of CPEC mentioned by Sun Weidong was that prior to CPEC, Pakistan’s annual growth rate was 3.6% but now with CPEC, it has gone up to 5.3%. 60,000 job opportunities were also created by Chinese companies for Pakistanis. Amb adept in Gobbelsian lie ? constant repeatition .....
Sun Weidong said, that Pakistan-China people to people exchanges are already being broadened and 200,000 visitors from both countries ( are there not stringent visa requirements for the Aam Abduls wanting to flee The Land Of The Pure ? ) visited each other in 2016. Moreover, 22000 Pakistani students are studying in China including 5,000 on official scholarships.
The meeting was attended by Rana Muhammad Afzal, MNA, Isphanyar Bhandara, MNA, Ghous Bux Mahar, MNA, Mehmood Khan Achakzai, MNA, Senator Lt. Gen. (R) Salahuddin Tirmizi, Senator Shibli Faraz, Senator Talha Mehmood and Senator Mir Kabeer Ahmed, besides senior officials from the ministries of Railway, Energy, Communications and Planning, Development and Reforms. :((
PS: Classic definition of an Ambassador from 1625 ( Sir Henry Wotton ) : An honest man sent abroad to lie for the good of his country . Sun Weidong fits the bill :D :

Pakis "Talk Tough" In Advance Of Tillerson's Visit !

Pakistan may stop dialogue if US upholds its old mantra to ‘do more’: sources
LAHORE – Amid their likely visit to Pakistan this month, top US officials will hold dialogue with Islamabad in an offer to remove Pakistan’s reservations on Trump’s new approach for the war-torn Afghanistan. 360* spin on Trump's threat and warning to Pakistan to "stop sending terrorists to Afghanistan" ?
However, a well-informed source disclosed that the dialogue will be held on the ‘basis of equality’ and that Pakistan may stop the dialogue if the US authorities proceeded with their old mantra to ‘do more,’ the Daily Express reported here on Monday. The all important "Echendee" factor :D
He said amid Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s current visit to New York, he held meetings with both the US President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence on the sidelines of UNGA session. In these meetings, Washington guaranteed Islamabad that it will expel its reservations on the new Afghan approach through ‘dialogue.’ The US authorities additionally approved talks with Pakistan on all issues. Nothing about the future US plans to naming and shaming high level ISI and other Pakis and placing restrictions on their travel etc etc - as recently reported and also the recent outburst by Asif against US policies on Massa soil (!) against all norms of diplomatic rules and courtesy

Typical paki. Now that he is not in the team anymore..."its not me, its you syndrome"
Usman Khawaja opens up about racism and sports in Australia
Usman Khawaja, one of the first few Asian origin players to compete at national level for Australia, in his latest blog opens up about racism and sports in Australia, saying that he does not support Australia like other immigrant children because he felt the country did not believe in him.
He remembers being called a 'curry muncher' which, he says, was particularly hurtful. But, he says, it also helped him.
Being racially vilified actually made me stronger in many respects
Like other immigrant children, Usman too did not support the Australian cricket team when he was young because they were not like him; rather, looked like those who had vilified him.
"I was brought up to believe if I didn’t drink alcohol growing up I was un-Australian. So then why should I support a country that doesn’t believe in me?"
I was brought up to be respectful, humble and polite.
He admits being embarrassed to call himself a Pakistani and used to say he was from Saudi Arabia
Years later, he was to become "the only Asian player at first class level in the whole country.
There is no doubt racism and politics played a large roll in selections in the past. I’ve heard a few stories from past Anglo-Saxon players where this seems to be the case.
Even his "typical subcontinent Mum" wanted him to stop playing and focus on studies when he was just 10

Five dead in attack targeting Shiites in Pakistan's southwest
AFP
09 October 2017 - 11H00
QUETTA (PAKISTAN) (AFP) -

Gunmen Monday killed five people including three Shiite Muslims in Pakistan's restive Balochistan province in the latest sectarian attack on the religious minority, police said. Two men on a motorbike attacked a vehicle carrying four Shiite vegetable sellers as it left the provincial capital Quetta."The local police escort the Shiite vegetable sellers daily... one of the vehicles today fell victim to sniper fire after it got separated from the rest of the escort," senior local police official Abdul Razzaq Cheema told AFP.
He said the gunmen killed three Shiites from the Hazara ethnic minority as well as the van driver and a passer-by. One Shiite vegetable seller suffered several bullet wounds but survived. Another senior local police official, Naseeb Ullah, confirmed the incident and casualties. Both officials described the incident as a sectarian attack on Shiite Hazaras. There was no immediate claim of responsibility but Taliban militants have targeted Shiite Hazaras in the past.Shiites make up roughly 20 percent of Pakistan's 200 million people.
Attacks by Sunni hardliners against them, along with other sectarian violence, have claimed thousands of lives in the country over the past decade.

Paki Students Lapping Up Jewish Propaganda ? Where Is The Mullah Brigade And/ Or Paki Deep State

Israeli university’s online course to be ‘attended’ by Pakistani, Afghani students
Students from Muslim-majority nations such as Pakistan and Afghanistan are among those signing up for an innovative online program offered by Israel’s Bar Ilan University.
When Bar Ilan University launches its first Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) at the start of the academic year on October 25, it will have students from a few places that one wouldn’t normally imagine would study with an Israeli institution of higher learning: Students from Pakistan and Afghanistan are among those who have registered for “The Bible in Light of the Ancient Near East,” a course produced by Bar Ilan’s Zalman Shamir Department of Bible Studies.
Will become Wajib-ul- cutlut after completion of course
Lecturer Dr. Nili Samet said online courses are a way to break down geographical and cultural barriers between students from around the world. “For me this is the best way to make an academic course available,” Samet said. “I believe around 100 students will register for the course.”The nine-week course is one of ten MOOCs being launched by Israeli universities on IsraelX, a national consortium of higher education institutions in Israel, using the edX platform developed by Harvard and MIT. Among the courses available are Haifa University’s Digital Culture/Clutter: Life and Death on the Net; Tel Aviv University’s Arab-Islamic History: From Tribes to Empires and the Weizmann Institute of Science’s Liberating Programming: System Development for Everyone. If they "fail" to become wajib-ul-cutlet, they can "opt" for being a Mossad and/or RAA agent .
. Acacia Landfield, Project Manager at the Office of Digital Learning at MIT, told Tazpit Press Service that Israel is advanced in the field of MOOCs. “Israel is one of the only countries that is financially involved in the development of MOOCs and put together a budget to allow all Israeli Universities to create MOOC Courses, which is very expensive,” Landfield said. Will they also be taught the ABC of espoinage
UK government report finds that Pakistani women are “shockingly badly integrated” into UK life
PAKISTANI women living in the UK are “shockingly badly integrated” into UK society, a new government report has revealed.
UK’s first disparity audit to be published in full on Tuesday
the data has thrown up a particularly “shocking” situation for Pakistani women
Other communities have integrated very well, but the audit shows that Pakistani women who don’t speak English or go out to work are living in an entirely different society and are shockingly badly integrated.

See- Pee - E - See (CPEC) Sialkoti Statistics

CPEC toll income to be thrice the budget of Pakistan: BoI
LAHORE: Only the toll income generated by the route of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), after the completion of the project by 2030, will be three times of the national budget of Pakistan, an official said on Wednesday. “It is on top of the business, economic, and employment creating activities of special economic zones (SEZs), and other industries,” Zulfiqar Ali, director Board of Investment (BoI) said while briefing Lahore Economic Journalist Association (LEJA) a local venue. " Statistics" manufactured in Sialkot, "Logic" supplied by La-Whore"
“The national investment agency is targeting to increase the foreign direct investment (FDI) to $250 billion for infrastructure development and other industrial activities by 2025, including joint industrial cooperation between Pakistan and China.” Ali said that Pakistan had already started development of seven SEZs with Chinese cooperation out of which three each were being established in Sindh and Punjab and one in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). In nowadays Pakistan, it is all about CPEC,CPEC and only CPEC, the "magic elixir" to solving Paki problem ! :D
“Furthermore, nine more Priority SEZs have also ben approved for Rashakai KP, Dhabeji Thatta, Boston Economic Zones Balochistan, Allama Iqbal SEZ, Faisalabad, Maqpoondas Northern Are3as, Islamabad Capital Territory Model SEZ, Federal Government Industrial Park on Pakistan Steel land at Port Qasim, Mirpur Industrial Zone and Mohmand Marble City, Federally Administered Tribal Areas,” he said. :(( Sounds got on paper onlee !)
The BoI chief said CPEC is the second chance for the industrial and economic development of Pakistan after 1960s industrialisation drive. “The CPEC is as important for China as it is for Pakistan,” he saoid.
He told the journalists that as an outcome of government’s negotiation with the Chinese, early harvesting projects of energy sector ( that "buzz word" again ! Whatever TF it means  ) had already started adding into the national grid. “It is expected that there will be no power outages in 2018 and by 2020 maximum energy will be added into the national grid by 2020,” Ali said.
Replying to a question, the BOI director dispelled the impression that the government was favouring Chinese investors by giving them special concessions. “For the BoI and the government of Pakistan, every foreign investor is equal. Besides, same level of returns on investment is available to the local ones,” he added. While the BOI Director is acting here as a "poster boy" for CPEC , the Isloo traders are expressing their own serious concern- in a separate report - about the FTA with the "Chini fliend", which is likely to throw them out of business !

Dus Percenti's H & D Running On "High Octane" :D

Zardari says 'Nawaz stabbed in my back'
KARACHI: Former president and PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari strongly criticised the ruling PML-N government and accused former prime minister Nawaz Sharif of stabbing him in the back but maintained that the government should be allowed to complete its term. In an interview, the former president on Monday said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif wants to "stir a fight between Islamabad (Govt ) and Rawalpindi" (Army ) .
While sharing his views on Nawaz's re-appointment as party chief after he was disqualified from holding any public office by apex court in panama papers case, the former president said a disqualified individual cannot become a party's president in a democratic system. ( Although he is a high school dropout I will have to agree with Zardari on this one  )
He said that following his statement, Sharif, who was then the sitting prime minister, did not hold a meeting with him.The PPP co-chairman had gone abroad in June 2015 and stayed in Dubai and London for nearly 18 months, following his controversial statement allegedly against the military. The "wrath" of Raheel- the "Bad Sherif "!
However, reports had suggested that Nawaz had declined to meet the former president. There had been no official word on the matter from either side. adding that "Nawaz stabbed in my back"."I do not care about Nawaz Sharif's luncheon; I do not eat 'Paaye'," he said, adding, "I took my own meal along whenever I had a lunch with him." This is "hitting below Ganja's shalwar". Also spurning, Nawaz's famous mehman-nawazi
The PPP co-chairman revealed that he has received "ten messages from Nawaz Sharif since the time he started taking heat, but did not have a word with him." Ganja has been sending feelers to AAZ through "Fellow Badmash and Fraudster," Malik Riaz , but Dus - Percenti is "not interested" !
He maintained that sending a politician to prison does not weaken him, however, headded, "Let's see, which jail Nawaz is sent to; in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan or Sindh."To a question he said that there is a huge difference between playing cricket, running a country, adding that "God forbid Imran should be destined in Pakistan's fate to govern".Rejecting the Musharraf allegations, he said that those who washed out the site, where Benazir was martyred, were promoted by Punjab government. So, he is killing two birds ( Nawaz and Immy ) with one stone in this interview. Sorry , to see this old "war house" come out of semi-retirement- and bat for PPP again - as Junior Zardari has not lived up to his expectations in "this family business"

Immy "Gheraoed" By Protesting KP Teachers

KP teachers protest outside Imran’s residence in Bani Gala
ISLAMABAD: More than 600 teachers from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa staged protest demonstration outside Imran Khan’s residence in Bani Gala and chanted slogans against provincial government of KP. Protesters blocked all the routes leading to PTI Chief residence. They also stopped KPK Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak and PTI leader Shireen Mazari ( the famous "Tractor - Trolley" with two wheels :D ) from reaching his place.
Disgruntled teachers are adamant to continue their protest outside Imran’s residence house until their demands are met. Speaking to media, KP Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak expressed him displeasure over getting stopped by protestors, saying he would remember it. ( IOW he would "take revenge" later  ) Meanwhile, Firdous Ashiq Awan promised to convey their demands to Imran Khan and hence she was allowed to go inside. ( Hope that she has a "female companion" with her as "witness" and is not alone with "The Khan" !)

This has been a mystery to me. Most of the violent killers, rapists, serial killers, torturers and gang members locked up in the California prisons receive sacks of mail from extraordinarily beautiful and accomplished women. If you go to the visiting room you will see beautiful women who have established relationships with monsters, who may never be released. This was also true with the minors that are incarcerated. Some thing in the genes that attract women to violent men, I guess.

Only the uniformed jihadis have the right to call for jihad

Yawn Link - Giving up jihad
Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal has rightly denounced elements that have threatened to declare jihad inside the country in recent days and emphatically asserted that only the state has the right to issue a call to arms.

The interior minister’s comments echoed what has been asserted by Gen Qamar Bajwa recently, the army chief having publicly stated that the state must have a monopoly over violence and is the sole authority to declare jihad.

Yes, the fauj with a motto of 'jihad fi sibillah' does have the monopoly over violence and jihad. Non-state actors are the faujis in mufti.

When you would have faced a hail of bullets fired from his gun on a crowd you would then be sure that he is indeed a terrorist. What an idiotic statement to make on the social media.

Maybe that's what she means when she says 'Stationary' instead of 'Stationery'! :rotfl:

^^^^ The Indian Army has a lot to answer for. They shouted out their orders for him to come out with his hands up in English and he was trying to translate when they callously, maliciously and brutally shot him dead. Anyone can can see that he wasn't even wearing his glasses and was struggling to read! Only if the army had given him a chance. Shame..........

Incorrect. He was learning basic spoken English so that he could be a better call center associate.

Fauj Directs ISI To Conduct "Audit Of Pakistan Steel Mills" To Consider Feasibility Of "Taking Over" This Prize Civilian Asset

14 member delegation of ISI to inspect Pakistan Steel Mills tomorrow
KARACHI – As many as fourteen high-level officers of country’s premier intelligence agency, Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) are scheduled to visit Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM) tomorrow (Wednesday) for a detailed briefing on technical aspects of the entity.
According to a director of ISI, officers of the Directorate ‘desired to visit strategic installations at Karachi to equip them with the requisite knowledge and practical understanding of intricacies involved in the management of strategic installations’ and their security’. "Buzz words" again before fauji take over of this "so-called strategic asset"
Apart from inspecting different section of the headless entity, the officials of the spy agency will also review the security arrangements in place after being given a rousing welcome by senior officials of PSM. Fauj- the saviour of last resort of Paki Eidology in this money loosing enterprise. Senior management will surely be replaced by current or ex faujis, so "rousing welcome" might be a little bit premature, IMO
Rumours swirled following the announcement of the rare visit that the PSM might be handed over to any organisation operating under the ambit of Pak Army with FWO and Fauji Foundation being the most favourite. The perception (wrong !) that the fauj is "best entity" in Pakiland for "everything" is highly misplaced , as can be seen from the sad history of Pakistan !
According to well-placed sources, the non-operational entity is without any formal Chief Executive and two General Managers occupy positions of Acting Principal Executive Officers (APEOs) against seven PEOs and 24 General Manager’s offices. The fauj sees a "good source of revenue and assorted shenanigans" and they grab it ASAP
PSM was facing a severe financial crunch from 2008-09, as a result of which the entity is only paying net cash salaries to its employees after intervals with the approval of the ECC.It was unable to pay the provident fund dues after May 2015 and gratuity dues after 2013 to the retired employees. Since then retiring employees have received neither provident fund nor gratuity dues leading to serious social and financial issues, Business Recorder reported.
The delegation’s visit which was initially scheduled for September 27th would likely be deciding the future course of actions for the financially-strapped installation. Hope that the low and middle level employees are not shafted in the takeover, and their rights are protected !
