A three year old girl adopted from India by US christian parents is missing. She was refusing to drink milk, so the adopted father made her stand outside the home around 3:00AM in an area where coyotes are known to loiter! They reported her missing after 5 hours.

No idea if the version is really true or they are covering something horrible!

3-year-old missing after being punished for not drinking milk, told to stand in coyote-prone area
...
Investigators say 3-year-old Sherin Mathews was last seen by her father around 3 a.m. in Richardson, Texas, according to KXAS.

Police say the girl’s father, 37-year-old Wesley Mathews, told detectives that he told Sherin to stand by a tree about 100 feet from the family’s home because she would not drink her milk.

...
The family called police five hours later to report her missing. Mathews also told detectives that he knew coyotes were seen in the area where he left his daughter.
...
...
Police say tell KXAS that she has "developmental issues and has limited verbal communication skills." Investigators say she was adopted two years ago from an orphanage in India.

Very interesting debate:
You can't speak here because it would cost me too much money to hold back all the terrorists who will try to kill you for expressing your opinion
In this case the university of Florida is doing exactly what the University of Florida, Alabama, Mississippi etc did back in the early 1960s when the Supreme Court insisted that they follow the Constitution and respect Freedom. They are creating a bloated terror environment and arguing that the "costs" are too high, for them to respect the Constitution.

All BRF-ites and NRIs in NW America head for the hills, relocate asap, doom and gloom is on its way!
A gigantic natural disaster is imminent. Read on and shiver and shake!

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world ... 19216.html
US Northwest could be hit by the worst natural disaster in the history of America any day
'None of the pictures is rosy,' says new report

Maya Oppenheim

It is a natural catastrophe which scientists and emergency disaster planners say is a matter of 'when' rather than 'if'

Nuclear test threat should be taken 'literally' - North Korea
A new report has looked at the different ways an earthquake of epic proportions could wreak havoc in the Northwest of America.

Citizens living in the vicinity of the Cascadia Subduction Zone have long been aware a 9.0 magnitude earthquake, which has been branded “The Really Big One”, could hit the region on any given day.

The quake, which is predicted to be the worst natural disaster in the history of the continent, would release damaging and probably deadly shaking in coastal Washington, Oregon, British Columbia and northern California. It is a natural catastrophe which scientists and emergency disaster planners say is a matter of "when" rather than "if".

The new piece of research carried out by the University of Washington has simulated the 50 different ways the earthquake could unfold. While past reports have looked at one or two scenarios, the study is the first to look at such a wide range of potential outcomes.

But the report, which was presented on 24 October, said: “None of the pictures is rosy”.

It ran simulations using different combinations for three chief factors - the epicenter of the earthquake, how far inland the earthquake will rupture and which areas of the fault will engender the strongest shaking. It found that if the quake were to strike the Cascadia Subduction Zone on Washington's Northwest tip Seattle could get off comparatively easy compared to if it was instead located far off the coast.

A small tectonic plate called Juan de Fuca has been sliding under the far larger North American plate into the Earth’s mantle for around the last 30 million years. While this tends to take place without anyone noticing at present, the pressure which has built up can potentially be released unexpectedly and disastrously and trigger a gigantic earthquake which would shake the Northwest.

This has not happened since 1700 when a magnitude-9.0 earthquake hit and wrecked the coast of what is now Oregon and Washington. An entire First Nation on Vancouver Island, the Pachena Bay people, died in flooding in the space of just one night, according to one story.

The fact this took place way before seismic instruments were around to record the event means a great deal about the exact consequences of the next rupture remains mysterious and uncertain. Geological clues reveal it jolts roughly once every 500 years and could therefore do so at any potential day.

"We know a magnitude 9.0 earthquake occurred in Cascadia in the year 1700, but we didn't have any seismometers or recording instruments at the time," said Erin Wirth, a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Washington.

She added: “There had been just a handful of detailed simulations of a magnitude-9 Cascadia earthquake, and it was hard to know if they were showing the full range.”

“With just a few simulations you didn’t know if you were seeing a best-case, a worst-case or an average scenario. This project has really allowed us to be more confident in saying that we’re seeing the full range of possibilities.”

The new piece of research found the various scenarios for the earthquake were extreme, with models showing the ground shaking for 100 seconds. This is a whole four times longer than it shook during the 2001 Nisqually quake which was magnitude 6.8 and exerted a considerable amount of damage.

The authors of the report hope the newly gathered information will aid planners and emergency managers to get ready.

Putting all JFK file news here,no need for another td!.

JFK's assassination left more Qs than answers. There was always the undercurrent of a massive conspiracy that involved the Mafia,CIA,right wing Americans,Lyndon Johnson,Nixon,Castro,etc.etc. From decades of reearch and after reading innumerable books on the subject ,here are my thoughts.File releases were suddenly stopped by Pres, Trump, with some to be released 6 monthsfrom now.A last min. change, pressure from the intle establishment supposed to be the reason.

1.The shooter: Was Oswald acting alone? Repeated tests showed that Oswald could not have fired s many bullets in rapid succession using the rifle he supposedly used. The Zapruder film and other material indciated that Kennedy was shot from the front.not from the rear, from the infmaous "grassy knoll, where two men had been earlier spotted. A recent series of pics showed tow men with what appeared to be rifles in their hands.Onlookers also turned that way after the shots were fired.

2.Who was Oswald? : He defected to the USSR earlier from the mil. but returned home.Suspicion is that he as a CIA plant.A graphologist looking at his diary entries supposedly of the period said that he was being dictated to and written possibly while on a boat. His activities in Dallas and Mexico stood out so much as if he were a plant.Oswald himself said that he was just "the patsy" before he was shot.

3.Who was Jack Ruby?: Jack Ruby was a small time hoodlum actually the Mafia's man in Dallas who paid off the cops. That was well known. The killing of officer Tippit was apparently unexpected , not in the plan. Some speculate that Oswald was to have also been shot and not captured. jack Ruby was sent to silence him before he spilt the beans by the Chicago mob boss,Sam Giancana. In a book written by his brother and nephew,it is alleged that JFK was bumped off because he double-crossed the mafia (his father did it first),along with the CIA who were betrayed by JFK over the Cuban failed invasion at the Bay of Pigs. The mafia wanted Castro out becos they lost their vice biz in Cuba worth millions ,and the CIA becos he was a Commie who wouldn't play ball. JFK blamed the CIA,sacked Dulles the CIA chief,

4.Why was he hit at Dallas?: Despite being warned about anti-JFK feelings there,he was armtwisted into visiting it,riding in an open car on a dangerous route, and who was the mayor? The brother of the fired CIA chief! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earle_Cabell

5.Why did JFK choose LBJ as running mate,a man who despised him? When asked JFK made this famous statement,"I'd rather have him inside the tent p*ssing out, instead of outside p*ssing in!" LBJ also made his own famous statement when asked why he took up the offer of being Veep, considered a job with no future. He famously replied,"I'm only a heartbeat away from the presidency!"

6What happened at the hospital?" A book much later by the doc. who operated on JFK was suddenly a few days later called again to operate upon Oswald, shot by Ruby.Inside the OR,an agent was on the phone with someone and the message repeatedly told to the doc.,"get his confession!". It was LBJ on the line. The wounds that the doc. found were apparently shots fired from the front, exiting the rear. However, when the coffin carrying JFK reached Washington, the head had been doctored to make it appear that the wounds were from the rear. There is another version which alleges that there were two coffins. The one accompanying Jackie did not contain the real body, while in another aircraft, the body was doctored and a similar coffin used after it reached Washington.

7.Was Nixon also involved? There was a report in one of the books that Nixon was actually secretly in Dallas just before JFK's visit. Some names of right wing entities associated with Nixon and LBJ were mentioned as being co-conspirators.

8.CIA's role: From sev. sources,it is clear that the CIA used the mafia for hits around the world,to do its dirty work,so that the real plotters remained untraceable. On Cuba, both CIA and the Mafia's interests coincided. After being blamed and sacked thanks to the Bay pf Pigs disaster, when JFK refused to help the trapped invasion force being slaughtered by Castro's forces, the CIA chief Dulles vowed to get revenge. The establishment felt betrayed by JFK a "Commie lover",who was also going to prevent the US from entering into Vietnam in a major way. The US establishment was v.keen to go to war in Vietnam which they thought was an easy task. JFK had reservations and wanted to defuse another crisis with Soviet Russia after the Cuban Crisis, where both superpowers almost went to nuclear war becos of Sov. missiles stationed in Cuba. These were later removed in a deal where the US woudl also secretly withdraw its missiles from Turkey. This again enraged the CIA.

9.The Mafia's role:In the book "Double Cross" written by the Giancana's,the Chicago mob boss once told them that only 3 people knew the entire details of the conspiracy. Apart from him a second was supposed to be Santos Trafficante the Flordia mob boss.He was a v.close chum of Giancana and reputed to be " the most powerful organized crime figure in Florida throughout much of the 20th century." Reported by an FBI informer Aleman, when he told Trafficante that President John F. Kennedy would likely be re-elected, Trafficante replied, "No, Jose, he is going to be hit."Aleman claimed to have reported Trafficante's comments to his FBI contacts, who "dismissed the Kennedy warnings as gangland braggadocio."

JFK's father Joe K.,had been rescued by Giancana removing a hit on him, when he without their permission bootlegged liquor from Canada through mob territory. In exchange he promised the full support of JFK when he became pres.,which he did with Giancana's help rigging the crucial vote in Chicago/Illinois.After becoming pres. JFK and RFK went on a witch hunt against organised crime (the mafia) which they first thought was to coneal the relationship. When they knew that they had been double-crossed,they tried to implicate RFK ,who was having a torrid affair with Marilyn Monroe (JFK ha done earlier).Monroe who had also had a fling with Giancana was being too open-mouthed about sev. issues connecting the mob and the White House. She was bumped off by Giancana using hitman "Needles Gianola",who gave her a suppository up her bung hole! She had earlier been given a sedative by a doc. after a big row with RFK ,she threatening to tell everyone about her relationships with both brothers. Hoover and the FBI had wired her bungalow and after she was hit, sent in teams to clean up everything removing diaries and evidence linking her with RFK,etc.
The Murder Of Marilyn Monroe And Ties to the Assassinations of JFK ...

Then at 10:45 pm two of Giancana's Chicago Mob men, Leonard "Needles" Gianola and James "Mugsy" Tororiello, administered the deadly overdose of ..
10:FBI and Hoover: Hoover was being helped by the mafia to rig races where he and his boyfriend agent Clyde Tolson ,would place small bets.GIancana would say he went to some much trouble to rig those races where Hoover placed only small bets.Hoover hated the Kennedys and thus did not reveal what he knew/suspected about the assassination.By saving RFK's bacon and JFK's too from being involved in the Monroe hit, which wouold've destroyed both of them,Hoover had the upper hand with both of them who couldn't ever remove him. His secret files on US politicos saw him remain FBI chief until his death, after which his files were never found.

More later.First media reports.

JFK files: Lee Harvey Oswald's links with Russia, fears over missile attack and the CIA plots to kill Fidel Castro

Russia feared an 'irresponsible' US general could launch a revenge missile strike in the wake of John F Kennedy's assassination, while Dallas police knew about the threat to kill Lee Harvey Oswald, it has emerged.

Thousands of previously classified files relating to the assassination of the US President were released on Thursday shedding new details on the case, although Donald Trump bowed to pressure from the CIA and FBI by blocking the release of hundreds of more sensitive records.

The US president said he had made the decision because of national security concerns, but allowed the release of 2,800 other files.

....

"I have no choice," the US president said in a memo, citing "potentially irreversible harm" to national security if he were to allow all records out now. He was placing those files under a six-month review.

Historians warned that the files were unlikely to contain any bombshell revelations or put to rest the rampant conspiracy theories about the 1963 assassination.

• Four unanswered questions from the JFK conspiracy

The documents approved for release show federal agents madly chasing after tips, however thin, in the days after the November 22, 1963, assassination and juggling rumours and leads worldwide.

Some documents were withheld at the last minute and some reports indicate that several hundred documents in the release were expected to cover the investigation into Oswald's visit to Mexico City

Files that drew scrutiny concerned the gunman Lee Harvey Oswald's links with the Russians, while the materials also cast a wide net over varied activities of the Kennedy administration, such as its covert efforts to upend Fidel Castro's government in Cuba.

In a 1975 “summary of facts gathered by the Executive Director of the CIA Commission concerning possible involvement in plans to assassinate foreign leaders,” it is stated that the CIA explored working with “mafia resources” as a means of killing the Cuban leader.

“The commission has determined that agents of the CIA were involved in planning in this country with certain citizens and others to seek to assassinate Premier [Fidel] Castro. The commission has also determined that the CIA was involved in shipping arms from this country to persons in the Dominican Republic, who sought to assassinate Generalissimo Trujillo.”

In a Sept. 14, 1962, meeting disclosed in the files, for example, a group of Kennedy's senior aides, including brother Robert, the attorney general, discussed a range of options against Castro's communist government.

The meeting was told the CIA would look into the possibility of sabotaging airplane parts that were to be shipped to Cuba from Canada. McGeorge Bundy, JFK's national security adviser, cautioned that sensitive ideas like sabotage would have to be considered in more detail on a case-by-case basis.

What else did we learn from the files:
Hoover’s reaction in aftermath of assassination

In the chaotic aftermath of the assassination, followed two days later by the murder of the shooter, Lee Harvey Oswald while in police custody, FBI Director J, Edgar Hoover vented his frustration in a formerly secret report found in the files. It opened: "There is nothing further on the Oswald case except that he is dead."

But, reflecting on Oswald less than an hour after he died, Hoover already sensed theories would form about a conspiracy broader than the lone assassin.

"The thing I am concerned about, and so is (deputy attorney general) Mr. Katzenbach, is having something issued so we can convince the public that Oswald is the real assassin," he said.

He also reported: "Last night we received a call from our Dallas office from a man talking in a calm voice and saying he was a member of a committee organised to kill Oswald."

Hoover said he relayed that warning to Dallas police and was assured Oswald would be sufficiently protected. Oswald was shot dead the next day by Jack Ruby.

Was Oswald a CIA agent?

A document from 1975 contains a partial deposition by Richard Helms, a deputy CIA director under Kennedy who later became CIA chief, to the Rockefeller Commission, which was studying unauthorised CIA activities in domestic affairs. Commission lawyers appeared to be probing for information on what foreign leaders might have been the subject of assassination attempts by or on behalf of the CIA.

A lawyer asks Helms: "Is there any information involved with the assassination of President Kennedy which in any way shows that Lee Harvey Oswald was in some way a CIA agent or agent" - here the document ends, short of his answer.

Threats to Kennedy and Johnson

Among the files is a more than 400-page document that appeared to describe people being monitored as potential threats to Kennedy and his successor, Lyndon B. Johnson.

Officials described one such person this way: "Subject participated in pickets against JFK in 1961. Allegedly trained in guerrilla tactics & sabotage. Considered very dangerous by those who know him. Has visited USA & Cuba. Considered armed and dangerous."

Some suspicions missed the mark badly.

One document describes a person who sent a letter to Johnson in December 1963 stating "you're doomed." The document says: "Interviewed 1/23/64; friendly. Said letter was a joke. Not dangerous. Attending 5th grade."

Anti-Castro plots

The collection also discloses a Sept. 14, 1962, meeting of a group of Kennedy's senior aides, including brother Robert, the attorney general, as they discussed a range of options against Castro's communist government.

Oswald's meeting with Soviet assassination agent

One of the titbits from the files that caused some excitement was the fact Harvey Oswald met Valeriy Vladimirovich Kostikov, a KGB agent who worked for the KGB's 13th department, which was responsible for assassinations, about two months before Kennedy's killing.

The document, dated November 23 1963, states: "According to an intercepted phone call in Mexico City, Lee Oswald was at the Soviet Embassy there on 28 September 1963 and spoke with the consul, Valeriy Vladimirovich Kostikov. This was learned when Oswald called the Soviet Embassy on 1 October, identifying himself by name and speaking broken Russian, stating the above and asking the guard who answered the phone whether there was 'anything new concerning the telegram to Washington'. The guard checked and then told Oswald that a request had been sent, but nothing had as yet been received."

The FBI believed the meeting related to a visa or passport application of Oswald.

Concerns that Oswald was KGB agent

One of the most intriguing parts of the tragic episode was the role of Yuri Nosenko.

The Russian was, on the surface at least, a senior KGB defector. Nosenko had told Warren Commission that Oswald, who lived in the Soviet Union in the late 1950s and early 1960s before traveling to Mexico City and then to Dallas, had acted on his own and was never an agent of the KGB.

But not everyone was convinced. According to the New York Times, Richard Helms, then head of the C.I.A.'s espionage operations, and later director of the entire agency, testified to the House Committee on Assassinations that he found Nosenko's claim "strained credulity. . . . I have not been able to swallow it.

Another sceptic was Tennent H. Bagley, who was one of Mr. Nosenko’s main handlers as chief of counterintelligence for the C.I.A.’s Soviet division.

One of the released files is a letter from Bagley to the Committee on Assassinations. "If Nosenko is a KGB plant, as I am convinced he is, there can be no doubt that Nosenko's recited story about Oswald in the USSR is a message from the KGB. That message says, in exaggerated and implausible form, that Oswald had nothing whatever to do with the KGB, not questioned for his military intelligence, not even screened as a possible CIA plant ... By sending out such a message, the KGB exposes the fact that it has something to hide ... That something may be the fact that Oswald was an agent of the KGB.”

Oswald was a ‘maniac’ and the Soviets’ reaction

In another file, Mr Hoover outlines what the agency knew of the Soviets' reaction to the assassination. The document appears to support Nosenko's claim that Oswald was viewed as mentally unstable.

"According to our source, Soviet officials claimed that Lee Harvey Oswald had no connection whatsoever with the Soviet Union. They described him as a neurotic maniac who was disloyal to his own country and everything else. They noted that Oswald never belonged to any organisation in the Soviet Union and was never given Soviet citizenship.”

The Soviets were also said to believe it was a coup. "According to our source, officials of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union believed there was some well-organised conspiracy on the part of the 'ultraright' in the United States to effect a 'coup.' They seem convinced that the assassination was not the deed of one man, but that it arose out of a carefully planned campaign in which several people played a part.”

Soviet feared a war in the aftermath of Kennedy’s death, according to the memo: “Our source further stated that Soviet officials were fearful that without leadership, some irresponsible general in the United States might launch a missile at the Soviet Union.”

The KBG also suspected President Johnson was 'responsible' for Kennedy's assassination. "Our source added that in the instructions from Moscow, it was indicated that 'now' the KGB was in possession of data purporting to indicate President Johnson was responsible for the assassination of the late President John F. Kennedy. KGB headquarters indicated that in view of this information, it was necessary for the Soviet Government to know the existing personal relationship between President Johnson and the Kennedy family, particularly that between President Johnson and Robert and 'Ted' Kennedy."

Oswald was on FBI radar before assassination

The FBI had discussed Oswald about a month before the shooting, according to a document marked 10/25/63.

An agent said in the FBI memo, which came from the bureau’s New Orleans office, said: “Will maintain contact with Cuban sources for any indication of additional activity on the part of subject organisation which appears to have become inactive since the departure from New Orleans of Lee Harvey Oswald.”

The organisation referred to was the Pro-Castro "Fair Play for Cuba Committee”.

It continues: “If Oswald has relocated in the Dallas territory it is possible he may inaugurate a FPCC branch in that area.”

Cuban envoy showed ‘happy delight’ at assassination

Cuba has insisted it had nothing to do with the assassination, but one of its diplomats didn’t do a good job at hiding his reaction. According to a CIA memo shortly after the shooting, the “initial reaction of Cuban ambassador Cruz and his staff” was “one of happy delight”.

“Ambassador Cruz received cable, which ordered ambassador and his staff to govern their actions by official attitude of govt to which they accredited. Cruz thereupon issued instructions to his staff and to Cuban consulates and trade office Toronto and Montreal to ‘cease looking happy in public’.”

Just chanced upon this video on YouTube. Funny, as well as tragic.
Gun ownership can be debated till time's end, but it was actually alarming to see such idiots having access to guns. It started off as a funny video but as it progressed, I realized it was anything but that. People shooting off guns in homes, nearly killing themselves, heck, a policeman lets off a round inside a classroom full of school kids.
Seriously!

Added Later: I understand not all the people this video are from the US, but most of them are.

And Moore
The story has produced a wave of concern among anxious GOP officials in Washington but little more than a collective shrug from many Republicans in Alabama, which holds a special election on Dec. 12 to fill the seat previously held by Attorney General Jeff Sessions. "Humphrey Bogart started dating Lauren Bacall when she was a teenager," said state Auditor Jim Ziegler, referring to the then-19-year-old actress. "I'll always vote for him," said 28-year-old Erica Richard, of Altoona, Alabama, adding that she wouldn't change her mind even if the allegations of sexual misconduct are proven true. "He's a good man. I love him and his family, and they are all good people." Paul Reynolds, Alabama's Republican National Committeeman, called it "a firestorm designed to shipwreck a campaign in Alabama. I think it's sinister."

Finally success. There was resistance to this by some other groups but won end of the day. This should have a positive impact.

dsreedharji: That post please belongs in the Out of India dhaga. Positive news is for stuff like this:
92-year-old President Bush accused of grabbing musharrafs

Time to start a running tally, since much of CNN front page is about who grabbed/groped whom. Wonder if we should send these to Professeur Doktor "All Indian Men are *apists" in Austria? Maybe in Austria and Germany men don't make passes at wimmins like Frau Gretchen Gross.
Seven women have come forward accusing former President George H.W. Bush of touching them inappropriately.
The first accusation was made in late October, and multiple other accusers have shared their stories since. The allegations concern reported incidents from as early as 1992, when Bush was in the midst of a failed re-election bid, to as recently as 2016.
The most recent allegation was published Thursday by CNN, in which a woman who was hosting a fundraiser for his re-election campaign said he gave her buttocks “a gentle squeeze.” CNN says the woman — who asked that her name not be published to avoid unwanted media attention — was “attending a fundraiser for Bush’s re-election campaign in Dearborn, Michigan.”
Capitol Hill reacts to the Al Franken allegations
Reaction from both parties continues to pour in after a female radio host claimed that Al Franken, now Minnesota’s junior Democratic senator, made a lewd gesture while she was sleeping aboard a military plane on her way home from a USO tour several years ago. The host, Leeann Tweeden also claimed he forcibly kissed her when they were performing together for troops overseas. Franken has since apologized for the incident, writing in a statement Thursday, “While I don't remember the rehearsal for the skit as Leeann does, I understand why we need to listen to and believe women’s experiences.”
Ray Moore continues to deny allegations
as more women continue to come forward.
"They're not only untrue, but they have no evidence to support them," (70-year-old) Moore said in Birmingham, Alabama.
The Washington Post published a report last week based on interviews with more than 30 people, saying Moore pursued relationships with teenagers while he was in his 30s. (IOW, 40 years ago!!) One woman said she was 14 years old when Moore initiated sexual contact with her.
"The Washington Post is certainly not evidence," Moore said Thursday.
Since the Post's report, more people have come forward with accusations against the candidate. A woman on Monday accused Moore of sexually assaulting her when she was 16.
on Wednesday, a Moore attorney attempted to challenge the accuser's account. The same day, AL.com published an account of another accuser, who said Moore grabbed her buttocks in 1991.
Nelson said on Monday that Moore wrote an inscription in her yearbook one day in December 1977 that said, "To a sweeter more beautiful girl, I could not say, 'Merry Christmas.'" She said he signed it "Roy Moore, D.A."
Now THAT sounds criminal!

America becomes more like Pakistan
Child marriage -- which often is legalized child rape -- is happening at an alarming rate across the United States today. Clerks and judges openly give marriage licenses to adult men who are marrying young girls, granting the men a "get out of jail free" card that in many cases allows what would otherwise be against the law.
While most states set 18 as the marriage age, legal loopholes -- such as judicial approval -- in all 50 states allow marriage before 18. Laws in 25 states do not specify any minimum age for marriage.
Ironically, though Alabama's child marriage laws are on their face abysmal, as they permit marriage before 18, they are relatively "strong" compared with other states across the nation: At least Alabama specifies that no child under 16 may marry. ..In 2015, Unchained At Last -- a nonprofit I founded in 2011 to fight forced marriage -- collected marriage license data in the United States from 2000 to 2010, the time period for which the highest number of states had marriage age data available.
In just the 38 US states that track marriage ages, according to the available data, more than 167,000 children, some as young as 10, were married between 2000 and 2010. In all 50 states, Unchained At Last estimated that 248,000 children -- or those under age 18 -- were married in America in that decade. (Twelve states and Washington, DC, could not provide sufficient data on child marriage. For them, Unchained used a statistical model to estimate the number of children wed, based on the strong correlation Unchained identified between population and child marriage.)
Almost all the children married were girls wed to adult men, according to the data. In many cases, because of the age of the child or the spousal age difference, sex between the two would constitute statutory rape under that state's laws.
This is happening in state after state, not only in Alabama. Since 1995, judges in my home state of New Jersey, for example, have handed marriage licenses to more than 105 men who instead should have been investigated for statutory rape under state law: The men were four or more years older than their child bride, who was between the ages of 13 and 15.
Horrifyingly, statutory rape within marriage is not considered a crime in many states. New Jersey is not one of those states. Thus, while those 105+ marriages are legal, every time those couples have sex, the husband could theoretically be charged with sexual assault.
Child marriage is an outrage not only when it legalizes or ignores statutory rape. Child marriage also is often forced marriage -- imposed on minors who have little recourse. Before children become adults, which typically happens at age 18, they cannot easily leave home, enter a domestic violence shelter, retain an attorney or bring a legal action. They are nearly powerless to protect themselves if their parents or others try to force them into marriage.
I see the horrors of forced child marriage regularly through Unchained At Last. It means rape for the child on the wedding night and thereafter. It usually means the child is pulled out of middle school or high school, with all her or his hopes for the future destroyed. It means lifelong trauma.
Further, whether it is forced or not, child marriage devastates girls' health, education and economic opportunities and significantly increases their risk of being beaten by their spouse. The US State Department considers marriage before 18 a "human rights abuse."
Solving America's child marriage problem should be simple. Every state can start by passing commonsense legislation I have helped to write to eliminate the archaic loopholes that permit marriage before 18, or before the age of adulthood, whichever is higher. Strong legislation to this effect is pending in Florida, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.
But the same legislation has failed recently in other states. Gov. Chris Christie conditionally vetoed the bill that passed with overwhelming, bipartisan support in New Jersey. New Hampshire legislators voted no, and Maryland legislators let the bill die, twice. Legislators in New York, Virginia, Texas and Connecticut passed weaker bills that still allow marriage before 18.
Sure, let's be outraged about Moore's alleged actions to prey on five teenage girls.
But let's not forget the ongoing outrage of child marriage, happening legally right now in courthouses and clerks' offices across America.

Rev. Jamie Johnson resigned Thursday as the head of faith-based and neighborhood partnerships at the Department of Homeland Security after a CNN KFile report revealed inflammatory past comments he made about the black community and Islam.
In past radio appearances, Johnson had said the black community was responsible for turning major US cities into "slums" and argued that Islam's only contribution to society was "oil and dead bodies."
DHS Press secretary Tyler Houlton confirmed the resignation, which was first reported by The Hill, to CNN in a statement.

Freedom of SpeechGuns
The presentation was to be a part of a series on world religions the school was planning, the superintendent's executive assistant told CNN. The school also canceled a future presentation about Judaism that was a part of the series.
The Council on American Islamic Relations said in its online statement that "canceling speakers outright emboldens individuals and organizations in Bristol who are Islamophobic and anti-Semitic."
The school's superintendent said the event was canceled primarily over safety concerns, although she added that the majority of the feedback was expressing disappointment in the cancellation.
"It is my hope that the opinions of a few Bristol residents are not seen as the opinion of the Bristol community," Moreau said in a statement sent to CNN.
They don't mention what happened to the presentation on Yindooism. Maybe there wasn't one scheduled at all since it is a "cult".

These 40 year old allegations are somewhat unbelievable and there are some bases for them. I think this fellow is a hardcore nature EJ fellow. Still is you are making allegations which are that old then there shall be something more than allegations.

FOX news Laura Ingram show has interviewed one black female who made allegations that members of congress misbehaved with her few years as she was some intern or something like that there and there is more than one fellow like that. Also, reports say that there is a secret slush fund created from US tax funds for congress members to pay off when such allegations are made. This Slush Fund news and the US congress scumbags conduct shall be far bigger one than these allegations on EJ fellow of Alabama.

Navy officials were faced with an unusual controversy after residents of Okanogan County, Washington noticed a sky drawing many said looked like a mijjile on Thursday.
That just shows the dirty minds of these Okanoganistanis, hain? All I c is a flat Figure of 8 and a hairpin loop with a very sharp pull-up and pull-out, done with amazing symmetry. I think the Navy commander who "admitted" this is wimp.

.
On the contrary, the allegations are more believable because they are that old. At the time one is a teenager one doesn't have the confidence to go out in public and accuse a person who is in a position of authority (as district attorney of the county).

However when one is an adult and sees the abuser in a position of ascending to greater power (possibly winning election as Senator of a state), one could very conceivably feel motivated to speak up, particularly in a climate when lots of other women are also speaking up against their former abusers without fear of retaliation.

What is interesting is that Al Franken, Democrat of Minnesota has also been accused. This guy is a scumbag in his own right... in one of his books he gratuitously attacks Deepak Chopra (for no reason other than personal egotism) as a "hyper-competitive jerk". He also signed on to a letter from various members of US Senate and Congress, criticizing India for "human rights/religious freedom violations" at the instigation of USCIRF.

Good that people on all sides are going up in flames. I would like to see how the great self-styled Chanakya Steve Bannon gets out of this one... he backed Roy Moore against Luther Strange in the primaries, and now anything that Roy Moore is tainted with is also going to stick to Bannon

I think Moore will win in Alabama unless the noisemakers get him to withdraw. Note that so far the only "evidence" presented is an autograph in a high school yearbook saying the autograph-seeker was a "beautiful girl", and signed it very officially as Roy Moore, DA. That is not rape, I hope. What did they expect him to write?
To the ugliest creature I have seen, with a face like a pig's ass struck by lightning. Roy Moore, DA.
If they had any better evidence why try bringing nonsense like that? Alabama republicans, mostly wimmens, will see these as Crooked Hillary tactics and get angry enough to come out and vote against the dems.

On the other hand, Franken(stein) has confessed. He's cooked.

Wonder about the depopulation of MI-6. I mean, the number of wimmens who can come out and allege sexual harassment against 007, 008, M, Q and all the rest...
This is the Bishop's Revenge. The statute of limitations for child sex abuse was removed to allow prosecution of priests. Now the lawmakers who did that are "hung by their own mijjiles" so 2 speak.

It is perfectly clear that none of the attacks on Moore will stand up in any court, let alone Alabama courts. Accusers make unsubstantiated allegations from FORTY YEARS ago? And in the interim they grew up as well-balanced Democrats, never complaining of any trauma?

So why are the allegations being tomtommed? Sheer character assasination to defeat him in the election. Question is, has anyone lost an election by underestimating the intelligence of the Alabama voter?

To speculate about whether "evidence" for Roy Moore's serial pedophiliac sexual assaults will stand up in court is to miss the side of the barn the point entirely.

Of course it won't. It is never going before any court (of law). The statute of limitations on these allegations expired along with the accusers' photogenicity (i.e. long ago).

The point is only to publicize the claim that Roy Moore is in fact a Bible-thumping child molester, in a way that denies him electoral success and thwarts his political ambitions to whatever extent possible. Just as was done to Bill Clinton once (Paula Jones, Juanita Broaddrick et al never had a shred of evidence, but were merely seeking justice in the court of public opinion, where in fact "reasonable doubt" works in exactly the opposite direction to its invocation by defence attorneys in a court of law).

If this is 'character assassination', then it must count among the so-called 'assassinations' most eminently justifiable and worthy of celebration throughout history, somewhere in between Marat-Sade and Shivaji-Afzal Khan.

The inevitable endgame of this business, however, is that Moore's electoral fortunes won't be the end of it... the chessboard is so positioned that, whatever the outcome, the Republicans (and Trump) are $crewed.

If Moore wins, the schism among Republicans becomes irreparable. The McConnell faction of DC elites will attempt to unseat Moore... who is now forever tainted with the #pedophile tag... for fear of their own survival in 2018. The Moore-loving base of Trumpian Republicans will retaliate against them... at the very least by refusing to turn out for elections in 2018.

If Moore loses, then all of the above, plus the Republican majority in the Senate becomes thinner.

Net net, Bannon and Breitfart, who wanted to burn down the "system" by backing characters like Moore, will have ended up ruining the Republican party far more thoroughly and permanenty than even Hillary Clinton managed to damage the Democratic party. Which is really saying something.

must be a highly accomplished molester, unusual dexterity and coordination may be required for bible-thumping and molesting the child at the same time.

But such molesters often have decades of (choir??) practice, as is being brought out in the news almost on a daily basis.
