It is a required thingy (y'know, get the usual suspect, thingy) from an impassioned malsic nation which goes up in flames if anything detrimental to the malsi thought ever becomes public.

Firing is too quiet of a deal. Impeachment by a parliamentary decree followed by public humiliation and flogging should tell the world that "we mean business from both sides of our mouths".

No, that's not all there is to it. Iron brother voted against the resolution (as did Venezuela), so presumably Pakis didn't want to go against that.

In favour:
Afghanistan, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Côte d’Ivoire, Croatia, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Japan, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Qatar, Republic of Korea, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Togo, Tunisia, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, United States of America
Against:
Burundi, China, Cuba, Venezuela (Bolivarian Republic of)
Abstaining:
Angola, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ecuador, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iraq, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, South Africa

Now Syria is a clusterfsck. Russia supports Assad and my understanding is that the resolution pulls up the Syrian government, i.e Assad. Pakis may not wish to take pangas with a newly blossoming love with Russia. Turkey is against, and Pakis love for Turkey is well known. China for its own reasons voted against (maybe as a commie proxy for Russia, maybe in its own self interest that such a resolution could be used against them in the future). Iran is with the Russians; but Qatar, which has been accused of being cosy with Iran, voted for the resolultion, i.e against Russia and by extension, Iran.

The Paki rep who kept his mouth shut (or took the day off to go shopping) should have been given a reward. But Paki politicians are who they are so they are behaving rather stupidly instead of wriggling their way out of any inconvenient questions put to them.

Pakistani diplomats in New Delhi reportedly being harassed

A senior Pakistani officer was harassed when his vehicle was stopped in Chanakyapuri neighbourhood of the Indian capital and was left with no other option but to return to the high commission.

In another incident, children of Pakistan’s deputy high commissioner were stopped while going to school and their driver was harassed, said the sources, adding that two recent accidents involving vehicles of the high commission were also being considered as ‘deliberate acts’.

There were also reports of visitors and labourers being unduly stopped from going in to the high commission building.

Sources said the Pakistani diplomats, their children and families were finding it difficult to stay in New Delhi due to the intimidating behaviour of the Indian authorities.

Pakistan has officially conveyed their reservations on the matter to the Indian authorities, saying that performing their duties in New Delhi will become very difficult under the current circumstances.

According to the diplomatic sources, a total of around 500 to 600 Pakistanis including 104 officials and staffers at the high commission and their family members are currently stationed in the Indian capital.Government of India must publicize the number of staffers & officials as also the total number of poeple in the Indian High Commision in Slamabad

The news came just days after Pakistan and India agreed on the release of certain civilian prisoners – women, mentally ill and above 70 years of age — amid simmering tension between the two nuclear armed neighbours.

Frequent clashes along the Line of Control (LoC) and the Working Boundary have recently heightened tensions and even triggered fears of a larger conflict.

However, the latest development of prisoner exchange indicated that the two sides perhaps were working behind the scene to de-escalate tensions. In December, the national security advisers from the two countries met in Bangkok reportedly to find options for some level of engagement between the two countries.

Relations between Pakistan and India have been tense and continued to deteriorate for many months. The two sides accuse each other for the current impasse.

ShowBaaz Sharif Yes! But Ganja Sharif No! ( Because he is not "sharif"!)

Imam-e-Kaaba calls on CM Shehbaz, refuses to meet Nawaz Sharif: report
LAHORE – Imam-e-Kaaba Dr Saleh bin Muhammad Al-Talib, who is on a visit to Pakistan currently, has reportedly refused to meet former Premier Nawaz Sharif. The Black Stone (AKA Kaaba) Honcho is currently on a "goodwill visit" to the First Islami Nuclear Takat
According to media reports, the visiting dignitary called on Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif but expressed that he could not meet a controversial political personality, referring to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz ‘Quaid for life’ Nawaz Sharif. If, he made this remark this is "below the shalwar" attack on Ganja
The elder Sharif, who maintains strong personal links with the Saudis had invited Imam-e-Kaaba, Dr Saleh bin Muhammad Al-Talib for meeting at his Jati Umra residence and later at a local hotel, however, the latter refused to meet the former prime minister at any of the said locations, saying that his position did not allow him to meet a controversial personality, Ary News reported. Ever since Ganja has been "dethroned", many of his so -called friends, including this "Saudi Gentleman" are shunning him and treating him like a pariah dog
The Sharif family or Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz has yet to admit or refute the denial of meeting by the Imam-e-Kaaba.
Dr Saleh bin Muhammad Al-Talib lavished praise on the younger Sharif for development projects in the country. Negative remarks against the elder Sharif made by the "Dr" from Saudia may not sit well with "younger clever brother" due to the close ties between the two bros

Zardari ( AKA Dus Percenti) Condemns "Harassment" Of Paki Diplomats In New Delhi

Pakistan conveys its reservations to India over mistreatment of diplomats
Taking note of the issue, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday strongly condemned the harassment of Pakistani diplomats in India and declared it a serious violation of diplomatic norms. In a statement, Zardari said that the harassment of the children of Pakistani diplomats was an uncivilised act from the Indian side and was condemnable. He asked the government to raise the issue with the Indian government and Indian ambassador in Pakistan and assure the security of diplomats. Zardari, following his " horsetrading" in the recent Senate Elections where he successfully marginalized Ganja has now become the "new darling of the Deep State"

USA Throws A Carrot To Pakistan To Induce Behavioral Change

US does not support Baloch insurgency: State Dept
WASHINGTON: The Trump administration on Saturday asserted that it firmly supports the territorial integrity of Pakistan and does not support Baloch insurgency or any group that threatens the country.
"We firmly support Pakistan's territorial integrity. We do not support a Baloch insurgency," Alice Wells, Senior Bureau Official in South and Central Asia wing of State Department told a Washington audience, reported foreign media. Pakistan has probably latched on this one statement that was made at the US Institute of Peace and ignored the others wherein she stated that she has not seen any changes in Pakistan's behaviour therefore the military aid stands suspended
The United States, she said, has not yet seen "decisive or sustained changes" in Pakistan's behaviour and as a result, "we suspended our military assistance," she said. "But we are not walking away from Pakistan. This relationship is important to us and we're continuing our intensive dialogue through both our military and civilian channels to discuss how we can work together better," she said, adding that a day before Deputy Secretary John Sullivan and she met with Pakistan Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua.

PCB Shames Paki VIPs

Please don’t ask for free PSL tickets: PCB tells VIPs
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman requested everyone on Saturday to stop asking for free tickets to the matches of Pakistan Super League (PSL) third edition in Lahore and Karachi, urging the ‘VIP’ persons to buy tickets.Najam Sethi took to Twitter and said, “Please don’t ask me for free passes. You can all afford to pay.”Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman requested everyone on Saturday to stop asking for free tickets to the matches of Pakistan Super League (PSL) third edition in Lahore and Karachi, urging the ‘VIP’ persons to buy tickets. Paki VIPs do not pay income tax . Paki VIPs fly free on PIA Planes ( Just two years ago, the media reported that Ganja Sharif requisitioned a whole Boeing plane to New York so he and his extended family could attend some marriage celebrations. No wonder the Airline is almost bankrupt !). Paki VIPs expect the Traffic Police to hold up traffic so their entourage is not caught in traffic jams . So what is the problem when they ask for "free kirket tickets" onlee

" Chopping Off The Nose" Seems To Be "The Punishment Of Choice " In Southern Pakjab !

Man 'chops off' wife's nose in Muzaffargarh after domestic spat
The Express Tribune
MULTAN:
A man reportedly chopped off his wife’s nose over a domestic dispute in Kot Addu district of Muzaffargarh on Saturday, police said.On the day of the incident the man, accompanied by his accomplices, barged into his in-laws’ house where Taj Bibi was residing. The assailants used sharp knives to attack Bibi and cut her nose.Residents in the neighbourhood rushed the woman to district headquarter hospital where her condition is now said to be stable.
According to Bibi, her husband had remained unemployed and was seen wasting his time sitting uselessly in the neighbourhood. She said that her husband’s idleness became the reason of fights between them.Police said a case has been registered at Kot Addu police station and an investigation into the matter is underway. Southern Pakjab is a hotbed of feudalism . Just a few days ago, the Paki Media reported a case of a "powerful landlord" chopping off the noise of a seven year old boy in Khanewal area , just because he did not bring sugarcane to him !

Falijee, looks like that. But, this love-hate relationship between the politicians and the military is a permanent affair. Hate them when ou are in power and love them when out of it in the fond hope that they would restore you to power. Pinky has also done this.

Zardari was dormant until recently and now has started to become relevant again. The military doesn't want PML-N back. They are also not so sure about Immy the Dummy and his latest acquisition, the Peerni. So, they may be showing interest in the known Devil.

Regarding harassment of diplomats, in the past it is the them who have harassed the Indian diplomats by following them and their family members and even intimidated them. Here they have claimed Indian 'harassment' so expect within a few days kidnapping and assault of a member/kin of the Indian high commission.

This would be a good opportunity to reduce the size of the high commission to no more then half a dozen. There are to many porkis in Delhi right now.

We can always export mullah Iyer and his family to slumabad if required.

More details on the recent anti-minority (specifically anti-qadiani) edict passed by slummabad court:

Pakistan’s unceasing bigotry
no one from religious minorities can become a part of the judiciary, attorney general’s office, advocates generals’ offices and prosecutor generals’ offices. They are already barred from becoming President or Prime Minister.
the court has directed the Parliament to ensure that all terms specifically used for Islam and Muslims are not used by non-Muslims
By ‘terms specifically used for Islam and Muslims’, the honourable judge might mean using Ahmed, Muhammad, Ali, Hasan, Hussain, Allah, or Khuda as part of ones names. If so, Ahmadis be forced to not have these Islamic terms in their names.
So, here's a partial list of (in)famous paki ahmedis. Let's play a game. Can you identify those ahmedis who, based on their names, would have been barred in bakistan from playing active roles in service for their moth-eaten nation? Also, the term "ahmedi" is therefore invalid, right?
Abdullah Saeed, Mirza Basheer-ud-Din Mahmood Ahmad (he is the guy who invited d'jinna back to India from londonistan), Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Mirza Nasir Ahmad, Mirza Tahir Ahmad, Khwaja Nazir Ahmad, Sitara Brooj Akbar, Muhammad Ali (writer), Asghar Hameed, Zafar Chaudhry, Abdul Rahim Dard (convinced d'jinna to go back to India), Naseer Ahmad Faruqui, Zulfikar Ghose, Mian Hayaud Din, Iftikhar Khan Janjua, Muhammad, Abdul Ali [/u]Malik, Akhtar Hussain Malik, Mufti Muhammad Sadiq, Mirza Muzaffar Ahmad, Abdul Rahim Nayyar, Qazi Muhammad Yousaf, Bashir Rafiq, Maulana Sadr-ud-Din Saeed Ahmad Khan, Abdul Karim Saeed Pasha, Abdus Salam, Saira Wasim

Paki Company To Built New Hotels On CPEC Route To Mainly Service "Chini- Traffic"

PC owners to build new hotel chain along CPEC route
The Express Tribune
LAHORE: The Hashoo Group, Pakistan’s biggest hospitality brand, is looking to launch another hotel chain called ‘Hotel Two’ across Pakistan to upgrade the group’s profile, said a high-ranking official.
The group currently owns and operates several hotel chains across Pakistan including its flagship Pearl Continental (PC).
Since the group has already covered all first-tier cities through its five-star hotel chains, the management is now focusing on second-tier cities and other far-flung areas, which have tourist attractions like the northern areas including Gilgit, Hunza and Skardu. The Company should do so, ASAP before a Chinese Company comes in, "owned" by the Communist Party and grabs "some of the action" :D
Its single-star chain, Hotel One, has almost 40 sites with most of them being in second-tier cities. However for Hotel Two, the management is looking for properties along the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) route as it believes that the route will bring significant business for them.
He said despite political uncertainty and a still less-than-ideal security situation, the company would keep on investing in existing and new ventures. Discount for "Balochi rebels" and "Pashtun Nationalists"
“We have started businesses in those places where investors were hesitant to go initially like Gwadar, Muzaffarabad, etc. However, we continue to invest and are about to open hotels in Malam Jabba, Multan, Mirpur and Hyderabad,” he said. Make sure to have your own water reservoir and your own generator on site and make sure it works !
“In some areas of the north, we will not go for typical construction and may bring in fabricated stuff from China ( cheap Chini stuff to furnish the B grade and C grade rooms  ) and pull that together which will help us in opening the property rapidly,” Malik said. /quote]
The group has raised Rs9 billion recently through Sukuk (Islamic bonds). Malik said the money raised would be used to expand the Hashoo Group’s hotel base in all categories throughout Pakistan. Bonds are bonds, whether it is "Islamic" or non - Islamic . Bottom line: usury is against Malsi !!!
Talking about challenges, he said developing human resources in the sector was the biggest challenge that they were facing.
“There is no government or other private hospitality training institute in Pakistan which can help in training the staff. What we have achieved today is due to our own efforts and training,” Malik said. :((

The Lahore High Court (LHC) today ordered Federal and Punjab government to not arrest or put Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed under house arrest until further notice.Hafiz Saeed had pleaded to the court against his possible arrest. In the plea he argued that the government is under pressure from the United States and India and wants to arrest him.Justice Amin-ud-din Khan heard the petition. Another "Self Glorification" Scheme By" Showbaaz" Sharif !

Punjab govt to distribute 110,000 cell phones to farmers
LAHORE - Punjab government will start distribution of 110,000 smart phones on Monday (tomorrow) among farmers under Kissan Package.
Punjab CM Shehbaz Sharif will inaugurate the distribution ceremony at a local hotel on the day. ( The Chief Minister was recently "rapped on the knuckles" by the Paki Supreme Court of using Govt advertising monies to glorify himself, and hence asked him to reimburse the amount back !)The spokesperson for Agriculture Department said that at initial stage 110,000 smart phones will be distributed among registered farmers. During next stage, he said, the cell phones will be distributed among all registered farmers.
The farmers will be advised through special applications installed on the phones to bring improvement in crops, weather conditions and modern technology in agriculture field. The phones will be provided on provision of Rs.500 for landless and tenants and Rs.1000 for land owners. Agriculture Department in collaboration with Telenor and Punjab Information Technology Board has developed a carefully crafted mobile apps services, keeping its unique target audience in mind, to enable technology to rapidly assist and cater to farmer needs. With this smart phones farmers will be able to apply for agriculture loans through the PITB-led app that would eliminate patwari and bank agent culture, said the spokesperson. :((

Pakistan to ban another US funded Radio Deewa for anti-state shows
ISLAMABAD – Months after banning American funded radio Mashaal for continuously airing anti state shows, the Pakistani government is now planning to mute another radio service for similar reasons
The federal government feels that since last one year Deewa radio has continuously been airing programmes which are intended to portray negative image of the country and provoking certain ethnicities against the Pakistani estate, according to media reports.
Both of these radio channels are funded by US government and are managed by Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG), whereas the head office of Deewa radio is located inside the headquarters of Voice of America (VOA) in Washington DC.Following the ban, Radio Mashaal, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty’s Pashto-language station continues to broadcast from its Prague headquarters.
Radio Mashaal has an approximate audience of 10 million people mainly in Pakistan and Afghanistan but was shut down in January, on the directions of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and the Interior Ministry due to its programmes being “in line with (a) hostile intelligence agency’s agenda”. Another pathetic attempt by the Deep State to suppress news of Pakjabi oppression against the natives in this day and age of globalization and social media . Reminds one of communist era censorship !
Last December, Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) protested throughout the tribal areas against the “partial reporting” by radio channels over the merger of FATA with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).Dozens of protesters marched from Khyber Press Club to Baba-e-Khyber and chanted slogans against Deewa and Mashaal Radios.
Following the ban on Radio Mashaal, the United States urged Pakistan to lift a ban on the radio.US Department of State spokesperson Heather Nauert said that “the ban on Radio Free Europe/ Radio Free Liberty station is concerning for the US”.

INDIAN DEPUTY HIGH COMMISSONER NOT SUMMONED THIS TIME BUT A "DEMARCHE" ISSUED !

Pakistan warns India over harassment of diplomats in New Delhi
ISLAMABAD - A demarche was made to the Indian High Commission in Islamabad and external affairs ministry in Delhi over the harassment of Pakistani diplomatic staff in New Delhi, a diplomatic source revealed.“It is becoming difficult for the Pakistani diplomats posted in India to keep their families with them due to increase in harassment incidents,” the source said. Wonder when the "tipping point" is going to be reached in this and in other areas
It has become difficult for Pakistan embassy staff to keep their families there, reads a demarche made to Indian high commission. Harassment of families would not be tolerated at all, he maintained. :((
He pointed to the incidents over the past three days in which the children of Pakistan’s deputy high commissioner were stopped and harassed on their way to school. In another incident a senior diplomat was harassed while moving in Delhi. The source said diplomatic vehicles were being stopped on different pretexts and searched. Members of diplomatic staff are also abused in public and a number of accidents of vehicles have happened. Pakistan seems to have forgotten that two can play at this game
Indian employees of the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi, he said, were also being stopped from coming to work.Relations between Pakistan and India have historically been tense, and the tensions aggravated under the BJP government.
Frequent ceasefire violations have been reported on the Line of Control and Working Boundary by India; in fact the highest number of breaches took place last year since the 2003 ceasefire accord took effect leaving 87 people dead. Should have also mentioned US-India- China cooperation to grey list Pakistan under FATF and the joint Afghanistan - India conspiracy to inject RAA agents ( AKA TTP ) into Pakistan to "wreck havoc"

Hillary Pillories Pakistan !

Who ordered raid on Osama Bin Laden compound in Abbottabad, reveals Hillary Clinton
NEW DELHI - Pakistan is not helping enough with resolving issues related to cross-border terrorism and the problems faced by its neighbour Afghanistan, said former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at the *India Today * <link>Conclave 2018. :D
The former first lady of United States said that Afghanistan is presently facing the continuance of Taliban regime and more worrisome presence of the Islamic State.
While talking about Pakistan, Hillary recollected her time during the operation to eliminate dreaded terrorist Osama Bin Laden, the founder of al Qaeda in May 2011.The former US secretary of state said that she was present in the situation room advising then president Barack Obama on the raid against Laden. She said that it was a tough decision because the intelligence was 40-60 per cent.Hillary said that the US was aware of the fact that the move would cause a lot of negativity in Pakistan. She added that despite the odds, they had to make the move nonetheless. She said that she had recommended the president to launch the raid while others had a different opinion. The President however eventually green signaled the raid.
Further talking about Pakistan’s role, Hillary said that the US never actually got much from the country in terms of cooperation to help or support. So even Hillary is not "sympathetic" to Pakistan's claim that because of US War On Terror , they have suffered at least $ 300 billion in damage to their country
Hillary, when posed with a question on Pakistan’s cooperation said that it was never a negative story, and that Pakistan had assisted US in identifying terrorists, arresting them and taking action against them. She said, however, that Pakistan’s cooperation not relevant in terms of resolving the issue in the long run. So, she does not "buy" the Pakistan argument that no peace in Afghanistan is possible without Pakistan's "cooperation"

News Of Deployment Of "Advance Fighter Jets At Western Borders" Comes Via Moscow.

In a first, Pakistan deploys advance fighter jets at Western borders
MOSCOW - The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has fielded a squadron of new Pakistan Aeronautical Complex JF-17 “Thunder” combat aircraft, according to a recent report by the Associated Press of Pakistan. The multi-role fighter jets are stationed at Pakistan’s Samungli Base near Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan, Sputnik has reported.
"State Secrets" broadcasted by Moscow Media, and picked up by Paki Media
Speaking at the February 28 inauguration ceremony of the planes, which form the Number 28 Multirole Squadron, Sohail Aman, chief of staff for the PAF , said "We totally understand the kind of conspiracies the enemies of Pakistan continue to hatch, but our resolve is very firm and response very clear," according to a PAF news release. The multirole aircraft taking off from the Samungli Base is capable of reconnaissance, ground attack and aerial interception missions. Was he inferring to Iran, Afghanistan, India or USA or is it a joint conspiracy of all this time
The squadron is tasked with the "responsibility of providing day and night aerial defence of the country, especially along the western borders of Pakistan," the defense official noted.
Earlier this year, Islamabad accused US forces of conducting unmanned aerial vehicle attacks on refugee camps in Pakistan's western Kurram region, Sputnik reported. The US Embassy in Pakistan called the charge false. Is he referring to the drone attacks ?
Pakistan is a "peace-loving nation, but we do not want anybody to interfere into our airspace and territory," the air chief said. We have done whatever is humanly possible on fighting the menace of terrorism," Aman said, adding, "Allah has rewarded our efforts by restoring peace in the country. Last December, Aman "ordered PAF to shoot down drones, including those of the US, if they enter our airspace, violating the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity." It appears Islamabad is giving the policy some teeth. But will Pakistan "bite the US" when the time comes
The JF-17 has been developed by the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex and Chengdu Aircraft Corporation of China. The Chinese version is known by the moniker Xiaolong or "Fierce Dragon," but the export version used by Pakistan has been dubbed the "Thunder."While Islamabad is the primary operator of JF-17 jets, Nigeria has incrementally inducted JF-17s to support "counter-air, counter-surface, air ops for strategic effect and air support operations," according to the country's budget documents for 2018. This farticle sounds more like a Press Release for the Marketing Campaign for the so-called "Thunder"

Shoe Attacks Gaining Momentum In Pakiland

Imran Khan condemns show ( sic ) attack at Nawaz Sharif
LAHORE:Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has condemned the shoe attack at Nawaz Sharif at a Lahore seminary. Speaking to media on Sunday, Khan said he was glad no worker of his party was involved in such acts.
"Throwing shoes is not acceptable. It shouldn't happen," said Khan as informed media about his party's decision to support a candidate for Senate chairman from Balochistan.Nawaz Sharif became target of the show attack as he was about to address a ceremony at Lahore's Jamia Naeemia. APP/AFP
An attempt to hit Imran Khan with shoe thwarted in Faisalabad
FAISALABAD - An attempt to attack Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan with show was thwarted on Sunday here in Faisalabad. The accused has been identified as Ramzan and handed over to police. Civil Line Police station has shifted Ramzan to an unidentified location for further investigation.
Commenting on the unpleasant incident, PTI’s leader Farrukh Habib termed the incident as an attempt of revenge for incident at Jamia Naeemia where Nawaz Sharif was attacked with a shoe.Nawaz Sharif had gone to the religious seminary to participate in a ceremony. While he reached rostrum to address the gathering, a middle-aged bearded man threw shoe at him and raised slogan.
Shoe hurling attempt at Imran Khan, Arrested man makes startling revelations
*FAISALABAD: The man who was arrested by police for allegedly attempting to hurl shoe at PTI Chairman Khan in Faisalabad* has turned out to be the agent of Punjab Law Minister Punjab Rana Sanaullah. The arrested man has confirmed that he was sent by son in law of Rana Sanaullah, Rana Shaharyar. Rana Sanaullah is Pakjab Law Minister ! So say "goodbye" to Justice :D
The accused was collared by PTI workers and handed over to police after he came close to Imran Khan’s vehicle and attempted to hurl shoe at him during PTI rally in Faisalabad, according to our correspondent. The man, identified as Mirza Ramzan, was caught and thrashed by the mob. He told media persons that he attempted to do so in reaction to today’s shoe attack on Nawaz Sharif in Lahore.
Earlier today, a man threw shoe at former prime minister Nawaz Sharif at Jamia Naeemia in Lahore during a ceremony. The two incidents came a day after ink was thrown on Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif in Sialkot. So, inspite of Imran's denial, it seems that a "shoe war", to win the "heart and minds " of Paki Abduls has started between the PTI party and the PML Nawaz Party . What is next in this third round is anybody's guess

Pakistan Gets Bad P.R. At UN :D

"Don't Need Lessons On Rights From Failed State": India Slams Pak At UN
UNITED NATIONS : India has pummelled "failed state Pakistan for trying to drag in the Kashmir issue at the United Nations for a second day in a row. On Thursday, Pakistan had argued about a plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir, and a day later again tried to raise the issue.
Demolishing Pakistan's arguments, India gave a long list of transgressions that Pakistan has refused to admit, from Osama Bin Laden found hiding on its soil to terrorists accused in the Mumbai attacks roaming freely
"The world does not need lessons on democracy and human rights from a country whose own situation is charitably described as a failed state," Mini Devi Kumam, Second Secretary at India's UN Mission in Geneva, ( delivered by a female junior level foreign office employee!) said. "Even as terrorists thrive in Pakistan and roam its streets with impunity, we have heard it lecture about the protection of human rights in India," she said.
"Don't Need Lessons On Rights From Failed State": India Slams Pak At UN.Demolishing Pakistan's arguments, India gave a long list of Pakistan's transgressions, from Osama Bin Laden found hiding on its soil to terrorists accused in the Mumbai attacks roaming freely.
Ms Kumam was responding to Tahir Andrabi, Pakistan's UN Deputy Permanent Representative ( Senior Paki, vs Junior India !) in Geneva, who on Friday alluded to former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru to make his case for a plebiscite in Kashmir.
The Pakistani diplomat said that at the heart of the Kashmir problem is the right to self-determination, which he claimed was mentioned by "the first Prime Minister of India, one of the founding fathers of India" and by the UN Security Council.Pakistan has often referred to UN Security Council resolutions on Jammu and Kashmir to push its agenda. The UN resolutions had pre-conditions mentioned. Which Pakistan has not implemented to date.
In February, Hafiz Saeed had openly dared the Pakistani government to arrest him. "If the Pakistani government wants to arrest me... come and go for it but I will not stop dedicating 2018 for Kashmiris," the terrorist said at a rally in Lahore.

Imran Khan Should Know That "There Is No Private Life ( "With The Peerni"!), When You Are A Public Figure.

Your right to know: What are public figures in private life
Umer Cheema .
March 11, 2018
ISLAMABAD: A story in this newspaper late Monday about Imran Khan’s third marriage generated intense debate, mostly on the social media. It was about contradictory claims on the date his nikah was performed.
The News broke the story on January 6 that the PTI chairman had secretly tied the knot with the mother-of-five and his spiritual guide, on January 1. Imran not only issued a belated denial (48 hours after the publication), a complaint was also lodged against this correspondent, author of the story, with Pemra and the Press Council of Pakistan for this “malicious and baseless” report.
In addition, he performed another ceremony on February 18 and the pictures were subsequently released to give an impression as if nikah occurred on that date and not on January 1. The News assembled enough evidence to establish the second ceremony was just an eye-wash and that the marriage had already taken place as claimed by this newspaper. This formed the basis of the second story carried late Monday, still not denied. He did a similar stunt before in his second marriage !
We thought a political figure of Imran’s stature aspiring to become prime minister would be held answerable for false claims. And defamation suit will be filed against this newspaper in case our story of late Monday was wrong. Instead, a smear campaign was launched to condemn intrusion into the private life of a public figure. Lesser explained the better about the dirty tricks used by the PTI’s social media to hide lies. Imran, Oxford educated, should know from North American and Europe politics, that when you are in the public limelight, there is no "private life", you are always under the microscope, the same way , when you "court" media people to make your "point of view" available to the Aam Abduls . !
The party’s social media brigade was encouraged further when the story came under criticism of noted anchors and analysts. Interestingly, none of them contested the information and rather attacked intention, questioned intrusion into privacy of a public figure and alleged me of an attempt to scandalise a woman only because she entered into marriage with a celebrity. For God's sake do not bring the Peerni into the picture please.
The daily Dawn also editorialised this. Where the editorial condemned smear campaign against this correspondent from PTI’s social media, it also brought under question merit of the story that, it said, was “less news and more scandal-mongering and which should not have seen the light of day.” Journalists must abide by the ethics of their profession, the editorial argued, that is what distinguishes real journalism from that of the jaundiced kind. This criticism merits answers. One newspaper against the other !
First of all, the basic duty of a journalist is to dig out facts. Uncovering lies is not a crime; hiding them is. The fake news and false claims are unfortunately becoming a global norm posing a challenge for the media. Fact-checking sections are being formed by different media houses; mostly in the Europe and the North America. Innuendo against the Kaaptaan
Several non-profit organisations have been set up with the sole purpose of fact-checking. The PolitiFact, a Pulitzer-prize winning organisation in Washington DC that awarded US President Donald Trump “Lies of The Year” title in 2017 is one of them. Right now, there are around 150 such organisations; none in Pakistan where media is still practising “he said, she said” journalism.
And IMO, it is not going to change, at least in the near future :D
Second, most-oft question one faces after a scandalous story is, say, that why you reported against Imran Khan, not against any other political figure. Whether the information is accurate or not should have been the question instead; hardly any critic talked about it. We appear to believe on the quota system as if one is duty-bound to collect similar details of other politicians, true or false, before reporting what is available. I did the story. The PTI should have taken me to the court. Onus of proving it is on me. I will do that. Challenge thrown to the future PM of Pakiland and his PTI Party !
Coming back to the story under question, the PTI chairman’s complaint against me is already pending with Pemra. Don’t have I right to prove that I was right? Depriving me through an argument that it was “less news and more scandal-mongering” is unfair. I can say with full certainty that no reporter, (I mean reporter, not anchors and analysts who are just into commentary business), would have dropped the story had he had as much authentic information which was available with me.
There is continuing enmity between this newspaper, its owner, its sister TV station and the Kaptaan and his party !
Nikah Khawan Mufti Saeed’s disclosure that he has been requested not to divulge real date of marriage before media may not be a news for Dawn, however, Imran Khan understands its implications who has recently been declared “Sadiq and Ameen” ( the Islami standard bearer ! )by the highest court of Pakistan.
Third, criticism of certain quarters is also grounded in the argument that a woman (the bride) has unnecessarily been scandalised. I have since been thinking how one could tell about the marriage without mentioning Imran’s wife. Getting married with him is her decision. Reporting about it is our right and more so because she carries enormous influence over Imran’s political decision-making as well. That Imran Khan told Jehangir Tareen that he did marriage with her in order to win elections is indicative of her impact on future prime minister’s decisions. Our challenge is to prove the authenticity of this account that we will happily do. He has "complete trust" in his Peerni and her "predictions" ( PM post !) for his political future.
Fourth and last: that one must not intrude into the privacy of a public figure is another point of critics they focus the most when they run short of other arguments. The answer is simple. Public figures use the media for relaying their message for building their image and furthering their agenda in order to shape opinion. They happily share private details which may establish their benign image. However, they hate the publication of any detail denting their image while taking refuge behind the “privacy” argument. Very true, all over the world !
We tend to forget the role of media. It is not only an instrument of broadcasting their message but it also has a role of a watchdog. Public at large doesn’t have means and ways to know about their role models beyond what they come to know through media. How far media can intrude into privacy is a contested point and limits have been set by different newspapers depending on their policy and the nature of public figures.
Tabloids are mainly celebrity-specific. Serious newspapers take decisions on the basis of celebrity the information is about. Donald Trump was caught in sex scandals during the US presidential elections. Numerous stories have been broken by The New York Times (considered bible by its readers), Washington Post (an equally prestigious paper) and the CNN. All three of them are referred to as the standard-bearers in journalism schools and the media industry but declared as “fake news” by Trump. Should they stop exposing him because certain sections consider that they have an “agenda” against Trump? Teflon Trump. Up till now, nobody has been able to stick something on Trump ! This may change !
Another example is golfer Tiger Woods who was not a political figure but a revered sportsman presented as an ideal role model. This image turned out to be sham when stories into his private life revealed he was unfaithful to his wife and found involved into multiple affairs. People came to know this through media reporting into his turbulent private life. Letting public know it was important because he was treated as an icon, a status he used to generate money. In case of Imran Khan, he is vying for the top office like Trump and was an accomplished player-cum-role model like Tiger Woods. Immy may meet the same fate, if the Peerni fails to deliver on her promises. He may start looking for # 4

Fresh From His Munich Furlough, Bajwa Talks Frankly To Paki Journo Imtiaz Gul

Twitterati react to Gen Bajwa’s press talk
Apropos Strategic Affairs Editor Daily Times Imtiaz Gul’s story on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa’s press talk, journalists and analysts have took to Twitter to have their say on the chief’s remarks.
According to Imtiaz Gul’s story, the COAS voiced his opinion on various issues concerning the country. Gen Bajwa remarked that Pakistan would have to eliminate extremist elements from the country if it is to be recognised by the international community as a normal state. This is the second time ( the first was in Quetta a few months ago !) thatCOASBajwa has raised the specter of "Pakistan not being a normal country"! Wonder if his nine "crore commanders" agree with this assessment. Wonder if someone told him this at his Munich Conference appearance .
The army chief further said that the ongoing socio-political and economic crisis (also) stems from willful deviation from law by civilian and military elites, which he remarked, should stop if we want to see Pakistan survive and prosper as a self-respecting nation. Is he not stepping outside his mandate as COAS
He added that subversion of the Supreme Court’s (SC) decisions will not be allowed and that ‘the country will descend into chaos if we let the Supreme Court be humiliated by those who don’t like its decisions.’ A dig and a warning to Ganja and his party
Gen Bajwa also stressed that he is a supporter of democracy, adding that “I saved democracy in this country, I am the biggest supporter of democracy.”COAS also expressed his views on several topics including the 18th amendment of the constitution, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Altaf Hussain and National Action Plan among others. Looks like he is willing to "be a savior of Pakistan" in the footsteps of Mush and Zia
Analysts, journalists and users on Twitter have voiced their opinions over COAS’ latest remarks – most of whom have been critical of Gen Bajwa’s stance over several issues mentioned in Gul’s story.Al Jazeera Web Correspondent Asad Hashim, in response to Gen Bajwa’s statement that he ‘saved democracy’, questioned that ‘who did the army chief save democracy from?’

India, Pakistan in diplomatic spat after ISI raids Indian complex

NEW DELHI: India and Pakistan are in the middle of a major diplomatic spat with both sides accusing each other of harassing, even intimidating, diplomats. While Pakistan has now issued a demarche to India saying it was becoming difficult for its diplomats to function in Delhi, sources here said the present round of hostility was initiated by an ISI raid on a residential complex under construction for Indian diplomats in Islamabad.

A group of 7-8 men raided the residential complex last month and disconnected the electricity and water supply to the property which is owned by India. Indian high commissioner Ajay Bisaria met the Pakistan foreign secretary on February 16 to strongly protest such "multiple acts of hooliganism" against Indian staff and property. Despite the protest by Bisaria, the power supply wasn’t restored for over two weeks. Bisaria himself had his car intercepted recently in the middle of the road as he was prevented from attending an event, sources here said.

Official sources here didn’t confirm a report in Pakistani media that Islamabad had threatened to pull out family members of their diplomats but said India will investigate the allegations. They said that Indian diplomats and their family members were regularly harassed in the recent past by Pakistani authorities. Indian diplomats have repeatedly complained about having to deal with unauthorised entry into their premises and also random interception of their cars. In one case, unidentified men are said to have broken into an Indian official’s home and stole his laptop.

The government, as a source said, has also not taken kindly to the fact that Islamabad Club has sought to deny membership, which is open to all diplomats, to Indian high commissioner Ajay Bisaria and other Indian diplomats. Pakistan’s interior ministry is yet to issue the no-objection certificate required for the membership given to Indian diplomats.

"Harassment is the new normal for Indian high commission personnel in Islamabad," said a source here.

In its demarche, according to a Pakistani media report, Islamabad said the children of its deputy high commissioner were harassed by Indian authorities while they were on their way to school. Another diplomat is said to have had his car intercepted and searched while on his way home.

Late last year, India pulled out two junior officials from its high commission after the ISI honeytrapped them and later tried to blackmail them. These developments threaten to undermine an attempt by both governments to move on by first addressing humanitarian issues like release of prisoners who have served their jail terms. The two countries, only last week, agreed to the release and repatriation of prisoners over 70 years of age and also women prisoners.

Sources said that in view of such an atmosphere of intimidation, most families of Indian officials had returned to India and children had been withdrawn from schools. "Aggressive surveillance, violation of physical space and tailing of officers in close and dangerous proximity is a perennial issue. Agency personnel keep shooting videos of the officers thrusting phones on their faces. Obscene phone calls and messages are constantly received on phones," said a source.

On the issue of India’s residential project in Islamabad, sources said Pakistan had denied visas to Indian companies involved in the construction. The main contractor, who is responsible for maintenance of the chancery, is said to have been threatened by Pakistani officials. He was told to leave the complex and also warned of action against him if he continued to do business with the Indian mission. India believes that Pakistan diplomats here are operating in a much better environment than their Indian counterparts in Islamabad.

“The truth is that even the chancery can’t go about its normal business as the security guards have been threatened by Pakistani officials and asked not to allow any local to the chancery building," a source here said.

Paki Journo "Sympathetic To The "Minority" ( read Ahmedi !) Cause And Who Was Recently Beaten Up In La-Whore Now Spreads His " Hate" For The Paki Establishment From His Exile In Canada

Pakistan’s unceasing bigotry
Rana Tanveer/ Rana Tanver
Based on divisiveness, the judgment of Justice Shaukat Siddiqui of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) passed on Friday, which have not disappointed many — as the honorable judge could have gone to an extent beyond one’s imagination in ‘service’ to Islam, will undoubtedly cause more vigilante attacks against religious minorities. This "My Laard" is on witch hunt against the Ahmedis of Pakiland !!!
The added insecurity this judgment will cause for minorities will not only make them more vulnerable to threats of murder, but also will reinforce their exclusion from political participation, basic services, education and employment. Karma bites back ! Ahmedis were in the forefront of demanding Pakistan - A separate homeland for the Muslims of Undivided India. Not knowing at that time, that there days as being considered "Muslims" in this artificial entity were about to end
By making it mandatory for every ‘constitutional’ Muslim to guard and protect the finality of Prophethood, this judgement has left it to the people to interpret how such edicts are to be applied. This will only lead to more victimisation of this country’s already vulnerable religious minorities. It will provide extremist groups with justification to continue twisting religion to justify widespread killing and the destruction of sacred places and public property of Ahmadis. This "edict" only is for Ahmedis posing as "Muslims" and would not affect others such as Hindus, Sikhs, Christian, Parsis etc as they do not considered themselves to be "Muslim" in the first place ! So unless, he is an Ahmedi, Rana Tanver/ Rana Tanveer should not be concerned
Incidents of mob justice like those that transpired at Joseph Colony, Shanti Nagar, Kala Gujran, Jandu Sahi and Gujranwala wherein Christians and Ahmadis were targeted for their religious beliefs, will now happen with more frequency. Moreover, the perpetrators under umbrella of this judgement would have justification for their unbridled acts. Any violence they commit will be to ‘guard and protect the finality of Prophethood’. The finality of PBUH cannot be questioned. ! This is the message that the Hon Judge of the Pakistan Supreme Court is saying ! And the Muslims of Pakistan do not have any objection to it !
The judgement has also been passed without the fulfilment of legal prerequisites. A very famous and well known principal of law is that no one can be condemned unheard. That is exactly what happened in this matter. Ahmadis, who are the major affectees of this judgement, were neither made party in the petition nor were issued notice to give their point of view. Unless Rana is an Ahmedi, why should he be concerned, specially now that he is "enjoying" the safe and sound environment of the peaceful nation of Canada :D
The court has also issued a translation of this order in Urdu, which will make it easy for anti-Ahmadi zealots, many of who cannot read English, to understand and ‘implement’ it in their way. Urdu is the national language of Pakistan. Just a few years ago, Nawaz Sharif Ex PM had send a directive stating that all Central Govt communication should be in Urdu and not English. ! So, what is the problem here !!!
The judgement has chosen very strong language, which will be all the more effective at inciting violence — particularly against Ahmadis. This shows clearly how impartial our judges are.
Ahmadis are already completely removed from the democratic process. Due to discriminatory steps taken by the state to exclude them, they cannot contest elections, cast votes or even campaign while sticking to their religious beliefs. I would go further and say that their condition will be worse than the Jews of Germany, once Shaukat completes his "process".
This judgment will not only alienate the Ahmedia community further, it will also facilitate the world in alienating itself from Pakistan, the brunt of which will be felt by every citizen regardless of religion. Issuance of such a judgements, particularly at a time when the US State Department has already re-designated the country as a ‘country of particular concern’ under the International Religious Freedom Act for having engaged in or tolerated egregious violations of religious freedom, is quite capable of having us ( as a person living and "enjoying " Canada, his loyalties should not be to Pakiland now, unless he is only bidding his time here and looking forward to a Canadian Passport as "insurance" :D ) declared as a terror sponsoring state.
It is the time to struggle for inclusion, acceptance, and peaceful coexistence. In such a situation, it is the prime and foremost duty of the federal government to behave sanely and challenge this decision before the SC and get it struck down right away. :((
The writer is a journalist currently based in Canada. (Chased out of Pakiland for fear of his life, but now wants to be back !) He can be reached at rana.tanver@gmail.com and @RanaTanver

Another PIA official arrested for smuggling drugs in Paris

French authorities interrogated the whole crew of PIA’s flight PK-749 to investigate the drug smuggling case and arrested one more official.

According to Express News, French Customs officers launched an inquiry into the drug smuggling case, after they detected narcotics in the airport screening.

French officials raided a hotel in Paris, where the flight crew sojourning at a hotel in Paris was searched. Sources reveal that a flight attendant was arrested from the hotel.

The cabin crew of Flight PK-749 will return to Pakistan today, Sunday 11th February and the arrested steward’s name has been taken off that list of returning PIA officials.

One day ago, flight official Tanweer Gulzar on flight PK-749 traveling from Islamabad to Paris, was arrested in Paris, after he was found in possession of illegal drugs. Tanweer was found carrying 400 kilogrammes of heroin.

According to the PIA spokesperson, the French police while conducting the routine inspection reportedly found illegal drugs in Gulzar’s possession.

Earlier this year, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) seized 673 kilogrammes (kg) narcotics valuing Rs658.66 million in the international market, arrested 30 people, including two women, involved in drug smuggling, and impounded eight vehicles in 22 counter-narcotics strikes across the country.

In a report the authority shared last year, the authority said to have conducted simultaneous operations in Rawalpindi, Lahore and Karachi to bust the drug cartel, unearthing four major cases of drug trafficking in PIA planes.

Peregrine- ji:
Your post clears the air quite a lot . So, the so called "harassment" of Paki Diplomats in New Delhi has a context ! True to form, the Paki Media has not been made aware, or has not reported the ISI raid , on directives of PEMRA and Deep State. IMO, all of this has to be connected to the domestic pitai that they are getting at the LOC, and the foreign pitai at FATF and other locales such as Geneva. In their "thinking" , India is responsible for both .

On the issue of harassment of Indian diplomats in Terroristan
An Indian source describing the condition that Indian diplomats in Pakistan are facing, said, “Aggressive surveillance, violation of physical space and tailing of officers in close and dangerous proximity is a perennial issue. Agency personnel keep shooting videos of the officers thrusting phones on their faces. Obscene phone calls and messages are constantly received on phones. In view of such an atmosphere of intimidation, most families have returned to India and children have been withdrawn from schools.”

The Indian High Commission in Pakistan has been made a ‘non-family’ posting.

I recently read that the paki embassy in dilli has over 600 staff.

If this is true, WTF have we permitted this to happen??

what business do these 600 staff do in dilli, especially when India pak has virtually nil trade and other business??
