Russia says second attack before may 12th once US carrier group arrives on station..

“If chemical attack in Douma staged,it won’t take long for another provocation to happen. It may happen once the new carrier group pulls closer to Syrian shores.”

Grounds for this idea – UK’s closure of skies in the south of Cyprus until May 12.

U.S. claims to have hit chemical weapons facilities in Syria. But U.S. claims to be ready if Syria uses gas again.

Syria Amb to UN: “Everyone talking about some details but the 400 pound gorilla in the room is illegal US occupation of 1/3 of SYR. Some say they fight ISIS but it’s same US,UK,France that first aided Daesh, other terrorists.

But the 3 can’t ever be our partners.

What ever it is. It isn't a tomohawk.

The aft section from the air intake is too long in relation to the tomohawk.

SA 6 is more like it. With intakes facing the front for the ramjet with engine and fule in aft if the intake.

The Coalition Missile Strike Against Syria, April 13, 2018

Analysis by UBCN

The recent strikes revealed a very curious pattern, following the smaller strike against an airport a few months ago. Below we first list some facts that appear to be valid, then pose our analysis.
1. President Barak Obama made his “line in the sand” declaration about the use of chemical weapons, then backed out of ordering strikes against the regime of Bashar Assad at the last moment. Reports cite major disappointment among the French and British Allies.
2. Presidential Candidate Donald Trump, in his debates against candidate Hillary Clinton, declared that US policy on Syria was deeply flawed, and argued for cooperating with the Russians in countering the common enemy, the Islamist extremists known as the ISIS or Al Qaeda. He pointed out that many of the groups/constituents among the so-called Syrian Rebels and Moderate Freedom Fighters being supported by the US administration, were no better than the terrorists and some were in fact allied with Al Qaeda.
3. The first major reported chemical attack made no sense as a strategic or desperation step if conducted by the Syrian government forces; it made eminent sense as a ploy by the western-backed Opposition to trigger a western air-strike against the government. There was no clear evidence of who launched the attack, as the chemical weapon investigators confirmed. This may have weighed in President Obama’s decision to call off the planned air strikes.
4. The White Helmets, praised generously by western media, are now accepted even by western entities including retired British generals as being mostly a UK-based propaganda organization. The Russian authorities have declared that many of the videos showing injured children and children dying from poison gas attacks are bogus – staged videos. The injured, traumatized boy famously shown as a poster child for so-called Syrian government atrocities, was reported to be alive, well, and unscarred later. The Russian media ascribed the gas attack to the Saudi or Israeli covert services.
5. The UN Chemical Weapons organization declared that Syrian government chemical warfare assets had been completely removed and disposed.
6. The next major chemical attack followed the same pattern of the first. Again it occurred in a place and time where the Syrian government was clearly winning the war, and had the opposition on the run. It made absolutely no sense to mass-murder civilians, and the regime had shown no such propensity in any place that their forces had liberated thus far. The major (and very attritional to the government forces) battles of Homs, Aleppo, and Deir-ez-Zor were fought bitterly, but eventually won by the government forces. There were no reports of any reprisals, let alone use of chemical weapons. Much of the population was shown as welcoming the liberators with extreme relief, while families allied with the “rebels” were allowed to leave on the “gree buses” into rebel-held enclaves. On the other hand, in several cases, families leaving government-held areas encircled by the “Moderate Rebels” under ceasefire agreements, were massacred by bombing buses and shelling them.
7. Latest attack context: Throughout the war, several suburbs of Damascus have been in the hands of Opposition forces, dangerously close to the capital. These enclaves were heavily defended and supplied with western and Saudi weaponry. As recently as mid-2016, the map of Syria showed that the government’s hold had been reduced to just central Damascus, the garrison at Deir-ez-Zor and Latakia. Those who lived there, in particular the Shia, Alawite and Christian ethnic groups, were facing imminent genocide by the ISIS and the Moderate Opposition. However, as of early April 2018, the Moderate Opposition in the Damascus suburbs had been reduced to just 10 percent of the territory that they had held, and were completely encircled. The Russians negotiated a ceasefire, but the rebels broke the ceasefire and suddenly resumed hostilities (why?) causing the Russians to withdraw from the ceasefire zone. Suddenly, reports came out about a Chemical Attack, a barrel bomb dropped in a civilian area. The usual pictures surfaced, of White Helmets and babies frothing at the mouth.
8. French President Macron claimed that he had evidence that the Syrian government launched the chemical attack, but refused to present the evidence. The Allies, particularly the French, demanded air strikes against the Assad Regime. The US President tweeted calling Assad an “animal”. The US UN representative Gov. Nikki Haley was even more shrill.
9. US National Security Adviser General Mattis told the US Congress that he had no evidence that the Syrian government had actually launched the airstrikes that included the chemical barrel bomb.
10. Meanwhile, the area of the alleged attack, in Douma, was captured by Syrian forces. Russian military and other experts went in and took over the area. They reported no signs of chemical attacks.

>>11. Reports on Twitter that US, UK, French and Israeli contractors/agents had been captured inside Douma. (US admitted on April 15 that there are 5500 contractors working inside Syria) <<

12. A UK-based amateur individual who had not been heard from before, but claimed to have been independently evaluating evidence from Syria, was cited in the media. He claimed that pictures presented by the White Helmets of buildings in the alleged attack area, matched pictures published by Russian authorities as Russians went into the area. He then showed a picture of a yellow gas cylinder lying on a bed, as evidence of an aerially-dropped weapon.
13. There were conflicting claims from the White Helmets, citing chlorine gas as well as Sarin gas.
14. On April 15, a Switzerland-based cardiologist, claiming to be a neutral entity, pointed out that in his opinion, most claims of the White Helmets, the UK-based organization, had turned out to be false. He also pointed out that some of the pictures showing children with cardiogram electrodes being used by medical personnel, had to be fake because all 4 electrodes where placed in front of the heart, violating the practice of placing some further away in order to be able to get proper readings. He cited this as near-certain proof that the “evidence” presented was bogus.
15. Given the history of bogus atrocity claims being used to “justify” military attacks, the Russian government issued formal warnings to the Coalition, and to the French specifically, that any casualties or damage to Russian assets would trigger a military response not only against any incoming weapons but to the facilities from which they were launched. This was seen as an ominous warning that escalation could rapidly spiral out of control and lead to WW3.
16. Inspector visit scheduled: The Syrian government invited the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons to visit Douma. The Russians facilitiated the visit. The visit was set to start April 15.
17. News that Syrian Air Force had relocated their aircraft (and presumably other assets) to Russian bases.
18. Decision to strike: After meeting for a long time with his advisors on Dec. 12 without a decision, the US President claimed that missile attacks (he specified missiles) would come, sooner or later.
19. During the night of April 13, after the stock market had closed, it was announced that the President had authorized missile strikes against Syria.
20. Pictures appeared on Twitter and on ABCNews site, showing flashes in the night sky over a city with lots of fast highway traffic, presumably Damascus, missile traces, and nearer explosions.
21. US Pentagon/White House announce attack.
22. Twitter news that RuAF planes had taken off from Hyenim and were flying "southbound", suggesting imminent combat.
23. After 3 waves, US declares strike over for now.
24. Syria/Russia claim that most of the 103 missiles launched, were shot down; however one site which they claimed was largely unused, was hit with several missiles (23 out of 30, with 7 shot down).
25. POTUS Trump issues chest-thumping tweet.
26. US UN-Amb. Nikki Haley echoes with gushing praise for POTUS and declares that US is "locked and ready" if Syria uses chemical weapons again. Claims that "the remaining 8 percent of Syrian chemical weapons" (after the rest was removed by UN weapons inspectors last year) had been destroyed.
27. Wild celebrations in Damascus of Victory over US aggression.

Strange Facts
1. Following blunt Russian threats, France and Russia reported to establish a deconflicting operation with regular phone contacts.
2. US tanker plane crews reported to be chatting on civilian frequencies, allowing air traffic monitors to track their whereabouts easily.
3. US Pentagon claims that Russian air defense radar in Syria was not deployed at all.
4. US says no Russian missiles were fired.
5. US releases "evidence": claims that if the "chemical attacks" were a hoax, then they must have been very sophisticated, fooling several (western) media. Ignores the fact that other media (Russian, Chinese, middle eastern) were not fooled. Asked why attack when the OPCW visit was scheduled, Pentagon lies that Assad did not allow OPCW.
6. Russia says they have evidence that the chemical attack was coordinated by a UK agency.
7. Russia says no French aircraft or ships participated in the attack, only US and UK.
8. Pentagon says 105 missiles were launched: general agreement in number with that cited by Russia
9. Pentagon says 3 facilities were hit: (a) A "chemical weapons research facility" with 76 missiles used, (b) a "chemical weapon storage facility" and (c) an airfield.
10. A US-released photo on CNN/ABC on April 15 shows uniformed Syrian Army personnel climbing over rubble at a destroyed site (the chemical weapon research facility)– without any CBN gear! In fact, not even helmets.
11. Neither side has reported any casualties!

ANALYSIS
105 missiles were launched. But all were against unoccupied facilities in the dead of the night (very considerate of the Pentagon to avoid casualties, but very strange considering that this was against evil child-murdering WMD wielders.

A "chemical weapon R&D facility" was targeted with 76 missiles! Consider that the chemicals alleged to be used were either (a) chlorine and/or (b) Sarin. Sarin was used in WW1. Chlorine was discovered in the 18th century. Both were supposedly delivered by "barrel bombs" from "helicopters". What does a "Research Facility" have to do with such a capability? If they have already developed the weapons and stored them, then what is the point of hitting the R&D facility? If they haven't developed the weapons, how did they use them?

Why does one need 76 missiles to destroy an R&D facility? OK, let's discount the RT.com images showing smiling undergraduate (obviously too young to be grad) students sitting in classrooms, there could have been underground hardened labs for the chemical weapons (none seen in the post-strike images). But 76 cruise missiles, each costing about $1M, to destroy this?

The alternative is that most of the first two waves of missiles either crashed or were shot down. But the Pentagon says that none of the US or UK missiles was hit.

Pictures shown on the web of what looks like a British Shadow missile, crashed.

Why did the Russians not activate their air defense radar?

Why did the Russians take off and fly on missions when there were hostile weapons in the air, unless they were just going about their usual work of attacking ISIS targets?

There was a report of ISIS attacks during/immediately after the missile attacks. But the attacks do not appear to have made any great progress.

Conclusion
The missile attack was coordinated with even more sophistication than the original chemical attack. It was even more bogus than the earlier attack against a Syrian airfield that "destroyed" 3 ancient planes or wreckage of planes.

Our guess is that the missile strike threat (orchestrated like the "chemical attacks") were triggered by the implications of the total collapse of the terrorist forces in Douma. The captured US/UK/French contractors/agents from Douma were handed over to their home countries, in return for a promise to limit the strike to unoccupied and unused facilities.

POTUS Trump's Faithful are happy.

Democrats in COTUS are silent for once.

US Navy able to replace 105 old and dangerous Cold-War era SLCMs.

Everyone happy.

But Syrian Moderate Freedom Fighters are shattered. Morale-ly and physically because the Russian bombers were thrashing their positions much worse than the 76 missiles streaming in to hit one school building and a trash dump.

If that is true then IAF does not need any SAM squadron

AD is very effective and provides cost effective assymetric option to deal with AD threats , fighters , missile , BM you name it , The destruction even a single missile can cause will justify AD/SAM , Reason why IAF increased SAM squadron to more than 45 is to compensate for the low squadron of IAF fighters.
Then allow me to simplify for you: air defense is not a shield. It can inflict some attrition on attacking aircraft, knocking down a plane here and there, but at least with current technology, there's no AD system that can reliably protect against missiles or groups of determined aircraft. And this is without even factoring in SEAD and EW.

When attacked by multi million dollar aircraft and their precious pilots, downing even one of them is a victory. When you have 30 inbound cruise missiles and you bring down a few of them, there's little to celebrate.

In this new era of robotic standoff weapons, air defense is looking increasingly dubious. As always, the only real defense is a good offense. Russia says they'll sell S300's to Syria now, but it should have been Iskanders, Klubs and Brahmos. AD systems won't deter anyone with standoff weapons.

some sources have it that most cruise missiles were bought down not by SAMs but by electronic jamming countermeasures by unnamed forces. If Syria fired 40 missiles at CMs then rest of 34 are accounted for non-SAM intervention.

And if you see here u c y Trump settled on such an attack:even US Conservatives are quite well aware of what we can see: there is no evidence that Syrian govt used chemical weapons, while it is pretty clear that it had to be a false-flag attack.
describing the move as a betrayal of his campaign promises to avoid entangling the US in more foreign conflicts as president. A number of them are skeptical of reports that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s regime used chemical weapons against civilians — which is what prompted Trump to carry out airstrikes on his chemical weapons program in the first place — and some appear believe that the the attacks are “false flag” operations designed to lure the president into war.

“I just feel like I just had my best girlfriend break up with me,” Alex Jones, the host of Infowars and a prominent right-wing conspiracy theorist, said on Friday during a live stream after the strikes were announced. “The left will make jokes but this ain’t funny, man.” In the run-up to Trump’s decision to carry out the strikes, Jones argued that the chemical attacks that happened earlier in April were staged by Syrian rebels to bait the US to intervene. He also claims that Trump consults with him over the phone from time to time — but felt that the Syria strike crossed a line. “If you ever call me again I’m going to tell you I’m ashamed of you,” Jones said.

Other conservatives who oppose interventions largely agreed with the sentiment. Mike Savage, a prominent radio show host, saw Trump’s attack as an undeniable sign that he had given into the establishment. “We lost. War machine bombs Syria. No evidence Assad did it. Sad warmongers hijacking our nation,” he tweeted Friday.

Michael Cernovich, an alt-right media personality and Trump booster, has demanded more evidence of the chemical attacks. “Magic gas that only kills women and children. And also disables all cell networks so that no one is able to post any videos from the ground,” he tweeted Saturday.

UB nice analysis. Consider that back in 1998 Bill Clinton leveled a sudanese pharmaceutical factory, that US claimed was making CW for AQ, with 15 TCM. This time it was 76 on a research facility that was above ground. Those were the days when Saddam and Milosovic were subjected to round the clock bombing and cruise missile campaigns. Assad should be grateful for small mercies

Or it could simply be they doubled or tripled up on the # of cruise missiles allotted to each target, expecting that Russian or Syrian AD would take down many of them. And probably some of them were brought down, just not nearly enough to save any of the targets. Indeed I would hope the Syrians and/or Russians got some of those missiles; it would be really embarrassing if they didn't, as this was the perfect air defense scenario. No SEAD strikes, advance warning given and target locations known in advance. If you can't even make a dent in a wave of subsonic missiles with all that going for you, your air defense sucks. Let's be honest.

Kananji, one cruise missile on target was all that was needed to bring down a building and "send a message". "Precision Strike" remember? They certainly had aerial/Space reconnaissance and damage assessment. So the 76 was because the first 70 did not hit. I tend to believe the Russian assessment on this, and the Russians are now :rotfl: that "April 14, 2018 will be remembered as the night that the tiny country of Syria "won" over the mighty COW". Maybe the mijjiles were sabotaged by the senders themselves to crash in the desert. Remember, last time some 26 were reported launched and only 3 were actually seen at the target, with no reports of ground fire. This is all Stealth Warfare: no one can see the war even. All done by PhotoShop and NH3 (Nikki Haley) gas. I loved the "Conservative" s*ithead's language on
"Magic gas that kills only wimmens and childrens and knocks out cellphone video transmission so that no images can be sent from the ground".
They DO sometimes tell the truth when they are really postal, don't they? THAT was the big revelation to me: that those bozos actually realize the same things that we realized long ago about this Syrian "Civil War".

UNSC vote on US aggression against Syria is interesting.
Yes: Russian, China and Bolivia. (how did they grow balls?)
No: U.S., U.K., France, Netherlands, Sweden, Kuwait, Poland and Ivory Coast.
Abstained: Ethiopia, Kazakhstan, Equatorial Guinea and Peru.

It's coming round... I think the COW is going to achieve Regime Change: in UK and France.

The one BIG defeat is that DT has now got himself into the same Saudi-Deepstate narrative as HiC and BO. I was hoping that he would investigate, and launch a case against HiC et al for being traitors and Giving Aid and Comfort To The Enemy. Could have upended all the Russia and zippergate troubles in one sweep.

All he had to do was to come out of the NSC War Room and tweet:
No evidence against Assad, lots against Crooked Hilary.
The Anticipatory Bail and Turn State's Evidence applications would have been flying faster than ALCMs.
(sigh!) So many lawyers, so few brains.

There is one more strange fact: The Pentagon claimed that Syrian missiles were fired only after the last wave of US missiles was over. The gist was that the debris found had to be from Syrian missiles falling, not US missiles shot down. The pic of a Syrian soldier standing next to an SA-2 (see posts above) fits that somewhat.

Which raises the same question that was raised last time, when 26 were fired and only 3 showed up at the target: what happened to 90+ % of the missiles?

How the U.S.-led Airstrikes in Syria Hit Their Targets Before Assad's Missile Defenses Even Fired
In fact, most of the Syrian countermeasures, including air-defense missiles, were fired after U.S. and allied missiles had already hit their targets, McKenzie told reporters on Saturday. According to the Pentagon, 19 new Lockheed Martin “Extended-Range” stealthy Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Attack Munitions (JASSAM) were launched by two B-1B bombers based out of Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar. The bombers were accompanied by a single EA-6B Prowler for electronic warfare suppression, potentially against Russian air defenses, as well as tanker support, according to a Joint Staff spokesman. Defense News added, "inclusion of the EA-6B is notable, as that aircraft was officially retired by the Navy in 2015 in favor of the more advanced EA-18G Growler."Six Tomahawk cruise missiles were also launched from the Virginia-class USS John Warner submarine according to the Pentagon. The U.S. guided-missile destroyer USS Winston Churchill and another U.S. destroyer, the USS Donald Cook were deployed to the Mediterranean Sea as an apparent decoy to draw Russian and Syrian attention away from the three U.S. battleships which fired the other 60 Tomahawk missiles from the Red Sea and North Arabian Gulf as an apparent decoy to draw Russian and Syrian attention away from the three U.S. battleships which fired the other 60 Tomahawk missiles from the Red Sea and North Arabian Gulf. .

Did one not say ghat the Syrian " oppsition" was nothing but a bunch of mercenaries? If there are 5500 Blackwater jokers, it's pretty clear that if there was indeed a chem attack, the likelihood of them being involved in the false flag op is much stronger than anyone else.

The French politico who was told 2 years ago by the Brits that they were planning something in Syria is evidence that regime changd has aleays been on the cards, the goal that Putin and Russia with Syro/Iranian grunts put paid to.

These missile strikes lost their sting as the Russians announced beforehand that a false flag chem attack was being planned. The West had to go through with it to save face despite the serious doubts from even hard core anti- Assad commentators as it didn't make sense with him and his supporters rolling up the map of Syria deleting ISIS from it.The only entities left are the " contract killers" of Blackwater and their ilk, paid huge sums to do their dirty work by the Soothis and Gulfie oilygarchs.

Game has shifted a bit from manned ac in range of manpads or srsam releasing ccip or lgb on hard targets to rekeasing large nos of gliding or powered weapons from 20 to 50km out. 1 target is now 10

So good jammers, radar and eo guided aa guns and cheap swarms of iron dome type rockets is the most cost effective point defence , coupled with manned fighters and lrsam to chase off the enemy bombers and ucavs and hypersonic weapons to bring down enemy tankers and awacs if you want to disrupt all links in chain

There is no one silver bullet

Look at dumbass ABCNews showing the videoof senior Syrian aphsars strolling through the ruins of the "Chemical Weapon R&D lab", not even wearing gloves or masks, hours after the devastating strikes by the "76" $M mijjiles.

One could not ask for better proof that there were no chemical anything there. :rotfl:

Have to have deterrence as in ability to trade a mijjile for a mijjile, hit the platforms and their launch bases. Hard when it is across an ocean, so have to hit nearest targets.

I think Tal Afar enclave is due for the high jump. How is a different question: hopefully not a frontal attack by SAA. Maybe their water will get cut off. One Saudi airbase/refinery may be in for a roasting, plus a few more Involuntary Submarines of the Saudi Navy. A Spetznatz raid on some Blackwaters might also happen. Or the Russians will just continue to stay focused and trash the Moderate Child-Beheaders ASAP.

Trump has only the generals for protection since the deep state is out for him via media hit jobs and intrigues in congress and his inner circle. So Trump has to placate the generals every once in a while to repay their support by launching some strikes somewhere as it keeps the generals happy and MIC in good humour. If Trump doesn't do anything in Syria or elsehwere, then his life or presidency would be cut short very quickly. Russia is the only impediment that stands between USA and genocide of civilians in Syria.

India Implicitly Criticises US for Attacking Syria Without Legal Sanction

In a statement issued late Saturday evening, ministry of external affairs (MEA) spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said that India was “closely following” the situation in Syria after the recent strike.

“The alleged use of chemical weapons, if true, is deplorable. We call for an impartial and objective investigation by the OPCW to establish the facts,” he said.

Even as the OPCW probe was being conducted, “we urge all parties to show restraint and to avoid any further escalation in the situation”, added Kumar.

The MEA spokesperson noted that the current impasse “should be resolved through dialogue and negotiations, and on the basis of the principles of the UN Charter and in accordance with international law”.

He hoped that the “long drawn suffering of the people of Syria would come to an end soon”.

India’s statement was implicitly in line with the Russian response that the air strikes were committed “without a mandate from the UN Security Council and in violation of the UN Charter and norms and principles of international law”. Russian president Vladimir Putin had also pointed out that the air strikes were conducted without waiting for the results of the OPCW’s investigation.

Not surprisingly, the Russian embassy in India also posted a link to the Indian statement on its twitter account and Facebook page.

India’s consistent position has been that “there can be no military solution to this conflict and any external military intervention in Syria’s affairs should be excluded”.

If a US president did something like that, he would be dead or neutralized in short order.

The Coalition Missile Strike Against Syria, April 13, 2018

Analysis by UBCN

Saudi paid money to western coalition to attack
.basically a goonda job..but goonda though wants the money is equally scared that the Russian gorilla in that cage might become "unpredictable.so the "west" makes deal with gorilla.. you sit tight in a corner while we put on a fireworks show for the sheikh :rotfl: .. so now where do we sent the odd 100 plus mijjiles..gorilla didn't give us much space for the fireworks ..damn..well let's put it all into some warehouse or stg and let gorilla know.. so now all happy...??,,maybe not the sheikh ..he s called for a Arab meeting

Trump Wanted to Target Russian, Iranian Objects in Syrian Strike - Reports

A dozen Russian dead with Smart and Sneaky missile as Trump called it would have forced Putins hand to do some thing

From Moon Of Alabama’s Comment Section:

In follow-on to my earlier post at 22
Jim Stone has some info on why the attack stopped (recall that they had 300 missiles available for this):
“I am going to stick with my assessment that something big was going to happen that caused the U.S. to stop the attack. All the cruise missiles could report their status to the launch site, and the U.S. was sitting there watching them vanish before they reached their targets. “reporting back” was early 90’s tech, that the cruise missiles had even then. So it would have been ominous to watch them vanish, And then suddenly, Russian planes were in the air, preparing to attack. That did happen, regardless of whatever any claims are. And within 20 minutes (before they reached their targets) it was suddenly announced that the attack which was supposed to last for days was suddenly over, after only about an hour. Something big happened, and no one is saying what. My guess is that Russia made the right threat.”

So the russians came to know that bigger scale attacks were in plan and put their assets on standby to react mode and somewhere deep down oceans a SLBM hatch was heard being fiddled with.. russian su-35 fighters patrolling the sky took a turn and headed towards US warships and it scared USA enough from proceeding any further.

It needs to be reminded that – 2013, Obama was in charge and on the verge of attacking Syria when there was a U-turn. There were reports from Lebanese media sources at the time that US cruise missiles actually were fired by the US but shot down by the Russians who then warned the Americans that ‘an attack on Damascus was an attack on Moscow’.

these cruise missiles like thawk and storm shadow carry huge 450kg warheads. enough to down a large office building. but surprising no real fireworks though western syria is well populated and something like day1 of OIF should have been seen.
I have a feeling many of the missiles were somehow EMP blasted , or deliberately programmed to flow slow and high(for SAMs to hit) or packed with concrete inert warheads to minimize damage.

this could be a statement of intent with a CVBG enroute now to follow up if needed, or a weak caving in to russian pressure...pick your choice

A video emerged on Sunday showing Syrian President Bashar al-Assad meeting with Russian lawmakers in Damascus to discuss the current situation in the country. The recent US-led airstrikes in the city were reportedly on the agenda

Key subject on the table was oil & gas exploration, President Assad said Russia has the support from Syria’s Gov’t to start drilling oil and gas from the coast of Syria, this is fundamental for the economic recovery of Syria and will ensure complete Russian Navy control of that part of the Med Sea.

Inland oil and gas exploration will also happen with Russia, worth noting that Iraq has sold wrights to many US/EU companies to explore its oil and gas, few though with Russia (mostly in the NE Iraq-kurdistan province), that will be a major difference between Syria and Iraq a decade from now, the major western oil companies in Iraq vs Russia’s in Syria.

On Saturday night, a flight of several Russian warplanes conducted strikes against newly established positions of the Jaysh al-Islam militant group in southern Idlib province.

Jaysh al-Islam fighters have only been present in southern Idlib province for about one week

NEW MAP: Syrian Government Forces have secured the entire East- #Ghouta area near the capital #Damascus. This probably marks the most decisive victory in this war, which made the redeployment of sev. 10K troops possible. #Syria
