The white helmets tried to get Roger Waters of Pink Floyd to spread their propaganda, but their attempts backfired when instead of parroting their lies he condemned them as a fake organisation whose work spreads the message of jihadists and is designed to encourage western governments to drop bombs on Syria.

Атака русских самолетов на американский эсминец: фельетон-инсайд

Russian warplanes flew at least four times over the American destroyer USS Donald Cook in the Mediterranean Sea.
…………………… ..

The morning was clear. Destroyer Donald Cook drifted 50 miles from the Syrian city of Tartus, where the Russian naval base was located.

American sailors, leaning on the bulwark, lazily sipped freshly squeezed orange juice and gazed at the horizon. Someone was talking on the cell phone with his native Oklahoma:

“Jane, yesterday we sunk three Russian nuclear submarine cruisers.” Of these, I personally sunk two, by God I swear! Jane, will you marry me?

Suddenly, a noise was heard in the sky, a second later it grew into an unbearable roar. Something flew over the destroyer, almost hitting the antenna post of the radar installation.
In the galley, the combi steamer was switched off immediately and the microwave oven went out.

– Oh my God, again! – howled the cook, the only member of the crew who went to the Black Sea a few years ago and after that passed three rehabilitation courses.

He really wanted to smoke, but the electric lighter did not work either.

Somewhere on the bridge the destroyer commander fiercely beat his fist on the extinguished screens of the Aegis system. Along with her, all the weapon systems and radar lights of the targets were disconnected, without which the ship could fire either from its three Browning machine guns or from the captain’s colt.

A minute later the engines stopped talking. On the destroyer there was a ringing silence, broken only by the hollow screams of some unfortunate person, locked up by an electronic lock in the gown on the lower deck.

The crew crowded on the deck. On the horizon, there appeared dark dots, rapidly increasing in size. At the Donald Cook came four Su-34.

“Let me out of here, for all saints!” Came a scream of someone’s ears.

Several people grabbed life jackets and resolutely rushed overboard.

Floundering in the water, Lieutenant Commander Jack Warren heard shouting:
“The boat, Jack!” A boat!
Turning, he really saw a Russian submarine, which moved swiftly straight at him. The lieutenant-commander thought that she opened her toothy mouth, and he immediately broke all the records of Michael Phelps, even without drugs from attention deficit disorder.
Su-34 flew over the destroyer so low that the officers on the bridge could see the Russian pilot. He smiled warmly and showed the officers a thumbs-up, they said, “You are a fine fellow, you are on the right road, comrades!”
For understandable reasons, the officers of the long-suffering destroyer did not share the optimism of the pilot.
A boat sailed from the French frigate “Provansal”. The Frenchmen in broken English asked which side of the Champs-Elysees the commander of the destroyer waved his hand gloomily towards Iraq. The Frenchmen thanked and pushed themselves against the oars.
Evening came. The sailors lit bonfires on the deck and warmed themselves, watching the stars begin to light up in the sky.
The US appealed to Russia because of reports of the rapprochement of the Su-24 with a destroyer
A Russian helicopter flew in and put a large pan of hot buckwheat on the deck. They sent a basket of Crimean fruit from the submarine.
“You keep him there for a while,” Shoigu asked. “And how would they not sink their own ship with some kind of” secret Russian missile, “Moryachok,” in order to provoke them.
– There is! Replied the commander of the submarine and hung up.
Soon the whole destroyer slept, lulled by buckwheat and a silent splash of waves.
Before the decision of Trump about the beginning of the attack against Syria it was necessary to wait just for some 40 hours.

As expected by many, the full liberation of East Ghouta would create the necessary momentum for reconciliation and deals with many remaining pockets and front lines in Syria, the fact is that the liberation of East Ghouta is an equivalent to a total loss for the terrorists and their main supporters (NATO, Israel, GCC) capital, which sent a ripple effect to other terrorists in Syria of defeat, pointing to the end of a larger possible conflict.

In other words, the terrorists low morale and the knowledge their terrorist cause is either lost or will at most likely get less funds by its long standing western/GCC/Israel backers, are driving them to look for alternatives vs their current status quo.

Le Frigate d'Republique may also have suffered some sort of SNAFU like what the story said.
I am still enraged by Jeffrey Sachs' calm exposition, basically confirming everything that we had figured out for ourselves. The thing he did not say is that ISIS was also armed by the same entities. It is amazing that this is coming, not from the leftists (though Sachs is People's Republic of Columbia) but from the Other Extreme. Basically telling Trump to get back to basics and trust his instincts.

If even 10% of what Sachs said is provable, several senior US officials should be hanged for treason and genocidal war crimes, and several midlevel officers should be court-martialed for not exposing this disgrace.

If Pentagon is going to extreme length to clarify Russian AD did not worked at all it means it did worked ....hence the annoyance

Russian air defense systems in Syria "absolutely ineffective," argues the Pentagon
The United States believes that Russia's air defense systems (ADS) were completely ineffective as the United States and its allies fired missiles at sites in Syria last week.

This statement was made on Thursday by the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the country, Dana White, to which TASS refers , during a regular briefing for journalists.

"Of the land-based missiles launched by the regime [the Syrian president] Bashar Assad, almost all were launched after the last of our missiles struck the target. The missile defense systems manufactured by Russia were absolutely ineffective, "she asserted. In addition, according to White, the United States is convinced that all missiles launched at facilities in Syria hit targets, while Russia's statement about the opposite is allegedly false. "Russia falsely claimed that the Syrian missile defense system shot down a large number of missiles, whereas in reality we hit all our targets," she claimed. In his turn, the representative of the Committee of the Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces, General Kenneth Mackenzie, said that during the bombing of Russian air defense forces deployed in Syria, including the S-400 system, were not involved.

"As for the attack last night on Friday, Russian systems were not put into action ... they [Russia] preferred not to use them. I can not judge why they were or were not applied, "he said. "However, I can say that the Syrian air defense systems, which are fully produced in Russia, are developed in Russia and are supported by Russia, were actively used, but were effective," McKenzie added.

On April 14, the United States, Britain and France, without the sanction of the UN Security Council, dealt a massive blow to Syria. According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the research center in Damascus, the headquarters of the Republican Guard, the air defense base, several military airfields, army depots were attacked. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, of 103 cruise missiles launched on the night of April 14 in Syria, the air defense of this country managed to bring down 71. Washington, London and Paris stated that the attacks are a response to the alleged use of chemical weapons in the Syrian Duma.

For those who don't know, Publius Tacitus is a high ranking US military intelligence person whose identity is known to Colonel Patrick Lang. So, when Publius talks people better listen, since it is a high level real professional speaking. I give here the link to the original by Publius at SST but I would make some comments here too.

EXCLUSIVE: Putin, Trump Will Never Allow US-Russia Armed Conflict, Lavrov Says

https://sputniknews.com/russia/20180420 ... -conflict/
"This was said very clearly and unambiguously," Lavrov said. "Afterwards there were contacts at the level of military leaderships and generals, between our representatives and the US coalition command. They were notified of our ‘red lines,’ including geographical ‘red lines’ on the ground. And, as a result, these ‘red lines’ were not crossed."

Sergey Lavrov also said that Russian military will soon provide evidence that Syrian anti-missile systems intercepted missiles launched by the United States, the United Kingdom and France.

"Our General Staff has a very clear picture, we have been monitoring [the attacks] live, and statistics, which our military provided. We are ready to take responsibility for that. If someone argues that all 105 missiles reached their targets, then show your statistics. Our evidence, our claims, calculations are at least not groundless and will be soon provided by our military," Lavrov said.

Napoli says "NYET"!

[quote] Naples mayor tells US Navy submarine to keep out
By: Victoria Leoni
Virginia-class submarine John Warner conducts sea trials off the Virginia coast. The mayor of Naples, Italy, does not want the nuclear-powered submarine coming near his "city of peace." (Chris Oxley/Huntingon Ingalls Industries via AP)
The fast-attack Virginia-class submarine John Warner fired six Tomahawk cruise missiles in Friday’s allied airstrikes against Syria.
On Saturday morning, Pentagon officials gave details on airstrikes on Syrian chemical weapons sites launched Friday by the United States, United Kingdom and France.

By: Aaron Mehta, Tara Copp
Now the mayor of Naples, Italy, is demanding the submarine stay far away from his self-designated “nuclear-free” city, according to several Italian media reports.

Mayor Luigi de Magistris penned a letter last week to Rear Adm.Arturo Faraone, head of the Naples port authority, expressing his displeasure with the John Warner’s presence near his city. The nuclear-powered Warner passed through the Bay of Naples in late March after the NATO Dynamic Manta exercise. Less than three weeks later, the sub was firing missiles into Syria from its position in the eastern Mediterranean.

“The fact that it is the same submarine [involved in the Syria attack] further reinforces the rightness of the order,” de Magistris told Italian news service Agenzia Nazionale Stampa Associata. “Ships of nuclear propulsion or carrying nuclear weapons are not welcome in the port of Naples and, therefore, they are not allowed to transit or stay.”

Submarine launches Tomahawk missile during Syria strikes
USS John Warner (SSN 785) launches Tomahawk missiles from the Mediterranean Sea on April 14, 2018, as part of a multi-national strike operation against Syria.
In his letter, de Magistris referenced a resolution he passed in 2015 which declared the Port of Naples a “nuclear-free area.” He called Naples a “City of Peace” that respects “the fundamental rights of everyone, convinced of disarmament and international cooperation,” according to the Italian newspaper La Repubblica.

Faraone responded that although he shares the mayor’s concerns, the arrival and transit of foreign military units falls under the jurisdiction of the Italian Ministry of Defense. He also noted that the John Warner never actually entered the Naples port in March, but remained three and a half miles from shore due to its radioactive propulsion, Rai News reported.

Naples has been a support base site for the Navy since the early 1950s. It is home to U.S. Naval Forces Europe and the U.S. Sixth Fleet.

Italy did not participate in the joint American-British-French airstrikes against Syrian chemical weapons sites, although it did provide logistical support from the NATO air base in Aviano. Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni backed the strikes, but didn’t want any attacks launched from Italian soil.

There are growing rumours that Russia is delivering S300s (that were ordered and paid for by Syria in 2011) that were under UNSC sanctions list. Russia believes that the last US/UK/France attack to Syria based on fake news and false flags created a situation that Russia “is no longer bound by a moral duty not to supply Damascus with S-300 air defense missile systems after the last week’s attack”, according to words from Lavrov.

Several large cargo planes are seen arriving into Syria daily in the past few days and also a ship arrived in Tartous carrying weapons and the Russians used smoke screen to cover the area for hours in order to block any satellite to spot what was being unloaded.

Expect news about it soon, Syria’s air defense will be seriously beefed up.

Another interesting news around is that, in exchange of Iranian no retaliation against T4 Israhelli attack (killed 7 Iranians) and NATO criminal bombing last week, Russia seems to have agreed to Iran to a possible shipment of more S300 and even talks around S400, there are also possible talks of use of Hamadan airbase.

The above fits all together with the recent re-opening of the C(4+1) grouping in Baghdad, which is now coordinating all attacks in the Syrian-Iraqi border and against ISIS combing ops in Iraqis desert. The re-opening should be understood under the wider prospect of the next major step which is to push the US out of the Mesopotamia region.

May 12th will be Iraqi parliamentary elections, another key milestone on the next big step for Iraq-Syria-Russia-Iran C4+1 (+1 is for Hezbollah).

The Resistance response to the US/UK/France criminal aggression into Syria was supposed to be asymmetrical, and the above is all about it, next phase of the ME is soon about to start.

Still, the burden of proof falls on Russia/Syria. They're the ones that must prove these extraordinary claims of shooting down so many cruise missiles. So far, all we have by way of proof is a bunch of destroyed buildings. No footage of interceptions. If so many cruise missiles we're brought down, there would have been a lot of cruise missile parts strewn all over the countryside, maybe even some of them intact.

This debate misses the point, though, as clearly the US destroys whatever it wants, even if a percentage of it's missiles aren't making it to the target. What the US wants to destroy, gets destroyed. End of story. This US aggression is going unchecked and is not going to be stopped by Russian posturing about how great their defenses are.

Nuclear Carrier Truman Enters Mediterranean 6 Days After Strike on Syria
Another false flag coming soon, followed by more missiles, most of which will be brought down by Russian air defense. Of course, all the targets will still be destroyed, but not before 373% of the inbound missiles are shot down first.

This girl is from Yemen, attacked by Saudi white phosphorus. Do not hold your breath to see Tomahawks fly into the palaces of Riyadh.

Russian/Iranian/Syrian media are completely ineffective if they can't propagate these things beyond Twitter and RT.com. They need to figure out at least how to penetrate Indian media. The present state of Indian media is beyond pathetic, as evident in recent "Business India" stories, TOIlet, etc. Even Chindu is parroting DeepState-Saudi - Israeli line. That's right: Saudi is now ==Israel==Deepstate==US-France-US MSM.

Meanwhile one observes a curious fact. As of April 20, 2018, Iraq and Iran are on the same side as Syria, and Yemen is on the same side as Iran, and Turkey is on the same side as all the above.

Egypt flat-out refused to join the USISISISrael gang. Pakis are thinking about it.

Do u get the feeling that KSA+GelfSheikhs+Jordan are sitting pretty inside a tightening circle? Nukes to Greece is a particularly bad idea: that invites Russian nukes into Turkey.

Jordan is a weak unwilling pawn due to geography perhaps.
Like the omanis , they usually are not in GcC adventures

Qatar and ksa in gcc are the big toothy dogs. Rest line up for fear of the teeth

Russian air defense systems in Syria "absolutely ineffective," argues the Pentagon

Lavrov stayed today that Russian mod will present the proof of intercept in few day.

I would rather prefer they just sit tight and watch the show of pentagon and Jane’s claiming 100% successful strike.

Let few months go by and present proof gradually , if they present it too soon intel will be gleaned from it.

Pentagon knows it’s strike is not 100% but prefer to say that with straight face , Russia knows that pentagon knows it is lying but knows it’s AD worked and intercepted , so let them prefer to sit tight and prepare for another strike and don’t give any data may be 1 photo should be fine.

After couple of months they can release all data slowly , right now pentagon is enticing Russia to show its card let them do that and not fall in trap , meanwhile many independent analyst will come with its own version

Pentagon shrill assertions remind me of Egypt claiming victory in 6-Day War and Pakis claiming victory in Kargil War.

Russia has nothing to lose by providing evidence of strikes having failed. That it is not providing evidence shows it probably doesn't have it. An airstrike took out hundreds of their mercs and they did nothing.
