Karanji, this incident goes far deeper than evident from news reports. There was clearly an agreement between WHOTUS, POTUS, Pentagon, Russia and Syria and France and UK. Both sides acknowledge Red Lines were laid out and observed. Each side had immense compulsions.

Key point is that no one has claimed a single casualty. The attackers did not claim any kills, the defenders any losses. No flag-draped coffins in procession to the accompaniment of AoA! and Death 2 America!
Both sides acknowledge that number of missiles fired was 103 to 105.

AFAIK, there was no effort to hit Syrian AD first. No HARMS. No power blackouts.

The Frogistanis mysteriously or otherwise failed to fire any missiles. Or fired 2 or 3 from behind radar cover of British planes.

I have never seen anything like this. This is like a PowerPoint version of WW2, with ppl firing off weapons and pounding desks in the UNSC, but they might as well be fa*ting as far as any target damage is concerned. Even Taliban/Pakistan weddings have more deaths from bullets falling back down.

The COTUSppl who attended Classified Briefing came away with very long faces: read what the Kentucky Rep said about "no evidence, looks bad either way".

So there must be careful lines drawn on the chest-thumping. Amazingly mature display.

Theresa May appears to have been the prime target. She looks more and more like an idiot. Must be kicking her dog every day.

I dont see any chance of Russians launching any attacks. Neither do I see a reason as Russia itself has not been attacked. whom will russia attack ? USA or UK or Greeece ? Thats NATO. Unlike west , Russia or china do not maintain a demonized list of little countries like iraq or noko or iran or libya with war drums beating incessantly and missiles ready to fly at small opportunity.

Some could be accused of taking part in skripal murder ring anf smuggling in nerve agent

Let them post these news , if the burden of proof falls on Russia to show it intercepted these missile then let them revel that proof at the time of their choosing.

Let them show one missile shot that would prove it’s not 100 % strike , this is an intel trap for now as more strikes are expected when cbg reaches meditarriane sea , pentagon will work around its weakness in next strike.

Better for now for Syrian ad to work around its own weakness and be prepared for next strike.

Obviously I'm no fan of the US\UK\France but I tend to believe their military reporting more than the Russians in this instance, because they have a vested interest the perception of an enemy "threat". The powerful military industrial complexes of the US, UK and to a lesser extent France, have a vested interest in hyping potential threats. They're always eager to hype up the "enemy" to justify ever more ridiculous military spending by their govts. The US is the biggest offender in this regard, but UK & France media do it, too. So if the Syrians really had shot down a bunch of cruise missiles, the western military talking heads would using it as an opportunity to wail about how they need more money for their already bloated budgets.

This is a longtime pattern. Look how US armchair strategists have been hyping China so much, using their supposed great military threat to justify higher spending. They've been doing this since after WW2 which is why the US mil. budget is as big as the rest of the world combined. It's all a huge con pulled off by the (mainly) US war industry and it's worked beautifully for 70 years.

Kanan, It has to do more with opsec than any thing else , let’s say if Russian release data and US says that is not true and we need to see more data and MSm says the same what would Russian do then release more data ?

Unless the risk of strike has ended there is no need to release any data except 1 or 2 pics for h n d

Intel studies these data and will figure out a way to avoid or beat sam it in next strike how will that help the Russians or Syrian in an ongoing war ?

The best course for Russia and Syria now is to figure out

1 > how those 35 missile still went through AD , what failed , what failed when intercept was not full success for SA-3 SA-6 and SA-8 , how to fix that ?
2 > Why did SA-5 failed miserably with 0 hits ,
3 >did Intel from allied nation did real time Elint while strike was ongoing did SAM radar give war time frequencies and if so what changes needs to be done on ECM ECCM of Sam radar
4 > do operational deployment of SAM have to be changed
5> what short comings in training was observed and how to eliminate in shortest time
6> what if the next strike is 500 cruise missile and 3 dozen aircraft backed by jammers ? How to deal with that n minimise casualty and increase sams capability

There are similar and more serious question for Syrian and Russian AD to answer then give proof for claimed intercept , chest thumping will win the current round will it help them win and minimise casualty in next strike ?

I doubt anywhere near 100 missiles were fired ? Seems more like a dozen or two at most. There was nothing worth destroyed that required 450 kgs of explosives. One or two building destroyed in damascus and rest of missiles did what exactly ?? A few fell harmlessly over Shayrat airbase. And 2 failed to explode and landed intact, which were handed over to Russians. http://tass.com/world/1000645

maybe the whole missile attack was simulated and just happened on monitor screens. And Trump pumped his hands and banged his fist in USA and Lavrov just sipped vodka and said FU in Russia, action was mostly in media. In wartime no party gives out the true story, it's propaganda 99.99% unless people have eyewitness accounts of having seen or being there. Nothing is fair in war. 100 missile carcasses would be way too many to conceal.

Please to take note that the mayor of Napoli, Sgr di Magistrati, had a go at the harbor-master and said US nuclear subs are no longer welcome in his fair city after the attack on Syria. He’s also appealing to Rome to ban them from nuclear-free zone Naples.

Stephen Lendman – True Targets of US-Led Aggression in Syria

http://globalintelhub.com/true-targets- ... ion-syria/

http://stephenlendman.org/

With rare exceptions, virtually everything reported by major Western media about Syria follows the falsified official narrative – concealing US-led aggression on a sovereign independent state threatening no one.

Yet it was attacked and invaded (by US-supported terrorists and Pentagon forces) as maliciously and illegally as Hitler’s aggression during WW II. The same goes for all US wars since the early 1950s.

The strikes were only for PR.They were never meant to hurt becos of two facts.

1.Trump knew that the accusations about Syrian chem attacks were false, even a Brit. general disputed it and was swiftly cut off the TV channel, but were orchestrated by the "white helmets" acting on behalf of the badly bruised so- called " Syrian oppn.", the Blackwater/ Sunni Arab farce who were in a shambolic retreat. They knew that they were on the verge of losing the war and had to resort to desperate means to stay relevant and for Assad to be attacked by the West.If it later emerged that severe strikes with heavy loss of civilian Syrian life was due to a faked incident, US and Western intel after the Iraq fiasco would suffer irreperable damage .

2.Secondly, Trump well knew that his naval forces and other Western assets in the region , would come under intense Ru attack if they severely punished Assad. The Russians threatened to take out the launch platforms.Ru subs , both N and conv. boats were tracking UK and US subs and warships.Yakhont anti-ship missiles were also allegedly on standby along with Ru supersonic anti-ship/carrier missiles launched from its 3 strat. bombers protected bu SU-35s.The Israelis have not fielded their F-35s so far due to teething problems as they were very recently inducted.Any loss of this much- touted bird on order by US allies would be catastrophic.
US F-18s, F-15s and other western aircraft would've been outclassed by the Flankers.
There would be heavy casualties and loss of life as a consequence. His mil. advisers told him so and that the loss of any US asset would be regarded as a defeat.
Trump is no fool and his presidency under severe home attack would be seized upon by his detractors if the US suffered serious mil. losses. with demands for his resignation or impeachment.

Thus the charade of a great mil strike against Assad's ( non-existant) chem labs! The accompanying fact that the missile strikes were also badly wounded by so many being shot down by legacy Sov. era SAMs , missed their targets, failed to fire ( France), has come as a great embarrassment.

We will now wait and watch for the next feku " atrocity" from the Russians and Syrians which the UK, leader of the feku pack of braying hounds, fox hunting style, go after imagined Ru atrocities so as to sabotage the soccer
World Cup where England may not even make it to the second round!

Trump meanwhile has worked out a secret deal with NoKo who have grandly announced a halt to mizzile and N-testing during the forthcoming summit (only!).He's hailing this as a great diplomatic victory. His meeting with young Un Kim, is a master stroke of the cornered bandicoot. It helps him turn the spotlight away from Syria for the moment leaving his Brit. mischiefmakers floundering! Brit.intel and the CIA are conniving to bring down Putin by any means.Just imagine for academic purposes that they do or he retires. How would they like handling Zhirinovsky instead? :rotfl:

3200 E Qalamoun rebels will be deportated to Idlib and Jarabulus.
Terrorists start leaving al-Rheibeh, Jairoud and al-Nasseriyeh

Qalamoun
Some rebels will leave to Jarabulus and Idlib, rest will form new pro Assad NDF units here
Tiger Forces captured many vehicles, tanks amd other military equipment (exclusive photos from battlefield)
Between 2015 and 2017 the Syrian Air Force Intelligence was able to recruitment most of Jaysh al-Islam leadership in Eastern Qalamoun, the area was basically under the full control of the Syrian Intelligence, this successful operation has ended hours ago only
Jaysh al-Islam handed over all of its weapons including dozens of tanks and long rang rockets, now these fighter will form a new branch of the NDF

East Ghouta, Dumeir, East Qalamoun—these three rebel enclaves were always closely connected, and they now fall like dominoes. Dumeir caved a few days ago, and according to media on both sides, Qalamoun has also just capitulated. https://www.enabbaladi.net/archives/222608

Ah, and yes the “Syrian resistance” just happened to be an indigenous uprising of anti “Regime” dissidents who seek a democratic transition from the “oppressive Assad dictatorship”. :rotfl: They just happened to collectively make a lot of money from overtime wages and miraculously vigorous economy in said dictatorship to shop at the local Dollar General stores to stock up on the munitions clearance sales. They and the Kurds are the top cash back customers where credit lines come with no credit checks. Even with the OT they seems to have plenty of time for the favorite local pass time…tunneling and burrowing. And what self respecting Kurd and FSA family will find themselves with out that high horse powered Caterpillar luxury model dirt mover with their initials in the plates? “This is a simple indigenous uprising that’s all”. Matter of fact is I’m heading over to the local Dollar General right now to stock up on my barrel bombs as soon as I find my keyfob for my customized Caterpillar…mine’s got rims and subwoofers so you can hear me coming like a mile away and look on in awe…cuz I got it like that…just like the Rat Packs in Syria.

So after all that phone call from makroni about splitting turkey and Russia , erdgon still says west harms turkey

Threat to Turkey comes from ‘strategic partners’ – Erdogan

https://www.rt.com/news/424795-erdogan- ... -partners/
Turkish President Recep Erdogan has sharply criticized the US and other NATO allies for their support of and reliance on Kurdish militias to keep a foothold in Syria, reiterating that Ankara views them as a threat to its security.

We cannot buy weapons from the US with our money, but unfortunately, the US and coalition forces give these weapons, this ammunition, to terrorist organizations for free,” President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, in an interview on Turkish channel

“So where does the threat come from? It comes primarily from strategic partners,” he stated, emphasizing that Washington continues to funnel truck- and planeloads of weapons into Northern Syria.

“The US sent 5,000 trucks loaded with weapons to northern Syria,” the Turkish leader said, reiterating concerns he repeatedly voiced before, especially following the launch of military operations in northern Syria.

The recovery of so many tanks and Chinese manpads only reinforces what we all knew. That this was a CIA led and supplied operation.

It is simply impossible for an Islamist group to amass such high grade weaponry in substantial quantities without the involvement of a major Intelligence agency.

By the would US take responsibility if one of their supplied manpads was used to down a civilian airliner. For a country which preaches 24×7 gibberish about peace and sanctity of human life, this only exposes their extreme hypocrisy.

Did anyone out here predict this that as soon as the battle in Ghouta got over, the foreign embassies would return to Damascus in large numbers

Syrian President Assad accepts, today, the credentials from Rachid Kamal, the Pakistani ambassador to Syria.

The more Embassies in Damascus, the less impact the US/UK/France MSM fake news will have around the world, the Embassies will have real info from locals and from their connection to the Syrian Gov’t. This can clearly set a new stage for the recovery of all Syria, any foreign occupation will be largely that, an illegal foreign occupation.
Very important development for Syria.
