Commenting on that article one abdul says:
Every project contains many drawbacks... Your food contains more silt (because of which you use washroom) than the rivers under consideration, so why should not you stop eating? Have you ever heard/wrote about the coal consumption of major economies - I wonder if this climate friendly maga project is more worst than coal consumption of America, India and China. This article is not more than a filthy propaganda against Pakistani government.
Has taller than Himalayas friend China replaced Israel in the three nation group out to destroy Pakistan? Is it no longer a YYY conspiracy but a CIA cons...whoa!

CJP, Saquib Pushing "Transgender Envelope" A Bit Too Close For Comfort

Chief Justice announces to employ transgender in SC
ARY News
Sept 12, 2018
ISLAMABAD: In a commendable initiative to mainstream the transgender community, Chief Justice of Pakistan announced Wednesday that two transgender persons will be given employment in the Supreme Court.
During the hearing of a case pertaining to the rights of transgender community, Chief Justice Saqib Nisar said that the judiciary wants to incorporate transgender people into the nation as an accepted and ordinary person.
“It is our first priority to give transgender community their due rights,” the top judge stated lamenting that transgender are ridiculed in our society.
Am pretty sure that his "lovely daughters" have convinced Abbaji to "do something" for these "poor creatures" of Pakiland . But to be realistic, that for the sake of his health ( and wealth !), he should reconsider this extempore decision (made in the heat of the movement ) lest he become another Wajib ul- cutlet like the late Salman Taseer
A day earlier, Lahore High Court also wrote to Punjab government and Secretary Health to construct separate wards for transgender in hospitals. The high court observed that this move would cater the privacy of transgender.
Peeping Tom Abdul syndrome
Previously, the apex court had granted transgender people the right to vote and the Chief Justice has vowed that more social rights will be given to them.
The transgender community should line up the CJP for an award !
In the light of SC’s decision, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) issued transgenders computerized national identity cards (CNIC) and the oppressed community cast their votes for the first time in July 25 elections. The Free and Fair Election Network (Fafen), an independent think-tank, also appointed around 25 transgender persons to work for the organization as election observers.According to the organization, the transgender persons, as election observers, observed and noted down violations of rights or act of discrimination against the vulnerable sections of the society at polling stations in the general elections on July 25.
PS: Instead of "employing" transgenders in SC offices and giving them separate rooms in haspitaals, the CJP should focus his attention to the Pushtun city of Peshawar, where transgenders ( aka hijras ) have become a favourite target of the Abduls who shoot them on sight

PPS : Peshawar is the bacha baazi capital of the world !

Peerni's Ex Ties The Knot Again With A Third !

Bushra Bibi former husband Khawer Maneka marries for the second time
Image

From The Pic, It Seems That The New Acquirement Is Also "Burqa Bound". Unless the new bride is shy and not in the pic !
LAHORE – The former husband of Bushra Bibi, likely to be first lady, has remarried on Friday night.
The wedding ceremony took place in Lahore, which was attended by members of the Maneka family, the groom’s sons and daughters, and some close friends. Khawar tied knot with Sameera Agha, who becomes his third wife. ( So, he already has two tucked away somewhere !) Khawar Maneka, Bushra Bibi’s husband, had divorced his then-wife, now married to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan, almost 10 months ago.
Bushra Bibi is the third wife of PTI chief Imran Khan, the prime minister in-waiting, after he divorced Jemima Goldsmith and Reham Khan, his former first and second wives, respectively.
So, this "guy" appears to be a prolific breeder !

Shahbaaz Forges Ganja's Signature On Parole Document !

Nawaz refused to be released on parole after Kulsoom Nawaz's death: report
The News International
Sept 12, 2018
ISLAMABAD: In a rare show of defiance, jailed supreme leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz had refused to be released on parole after being informed about the death of his wife, Begum Kulsoom Nawaz.
Quoting unnamed sources, Geo News reported that Maryam Nawaz Sharif also backed his father and was of the view that he should not sign the documents regarding their temporary release from the Adiala Jail.
The sources said PMLN president and his younger brother Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif persuaded the former prime minister to sign the document but to no avail.
After Nawaz Sharif's refusal, the younger Sharif himself signed the document and pleaded with her brother to get a last glimpse of his wife, the sources said.
And the "forgery" was accepted by Deep State !
It is a big tragedy, and law also provides for release on bail. We will have to deal with regret of missed opportunity for rest of our lives," Shahbaz Sharif was reported as having told his brother in his effort to persuade him. "It was Allah's wish, this was bound to happen," was the response he received from the former prime minister.
Geo News correspondent said Nawaz Sharif didn't want to receive any favours from the government.Begum Kulsoom Nawaz died in London on Tuesday after battling with cancer.
Whatever can be said about Ganja, it seems that at least he has more "guts" than the spineless Immy, who just capitulated to the Islam Brigade over Atif Mian's inclusion into the EAC

Pakistan military 'quietly' stifles press with intimidation: Press freedom group – Reuters

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's military is using fear and intimidation to stifle the media and undermine press freedom even as overall violence against reporters has fallen, the Committee to Protect Journalists (CJP) said on Wednesday.

The press freedom group said the military had established "lines of control" to pressure the media and journalists who pushed back or were overtly critical were attacked, threatened or arrested.

"The military has quietly, but effectively, set restrictions on reporting: from barring access to regions ... to encouraging self-censorship through direct and indirect methods of intimidation, including ... allegedly instigating violence against reporters," the CPJ said in a report.

The military routinely denies interference in politics or with the media. Its information wing could not be reached for comment by telephone nor did it respond to text messages seeking comment on the report.

Information minister Fawad Chaudhry told Reuters no media complaints about intimidation had been lodged with his ministry but if they were, they would be investigated.

The CPJ spoke to various journalists and media organisations for its report, including Geo News, Pakistan's most popular television news channel.

In April, in the run-up to a general election, cable distributors stopped distributing Geo's programming, cutting off about 80 per cent of households.

At the time, two sources at the broadcaster told Reuters the military had told it to refrain from reporting on various topics including alleged military involvement in the ouster of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

The Supreme Court forced Sharif from office in July 2017 over his failure to declare some income.

The CPJ said while it was hard to document who made the order restricting Geo's distribution and for what reason, the broadcaster was known to have had disputes with the authorities.

"Geo News's clashes with authorities started well before April 2018 and exemplify the divide between some media houses and the military ... (and) the growing use of indirect tactics to impose censorship, and the rise of self-censorship," it said.

'INDIRECT WAYS'

Similarly, the English-language Dawn newspaper has seen its circulation blocked in some places, which the paper's editor pointed to military intervention.

"They're clearly not happy with Dawn's policies, they want Dawn to stay away from certain subjects," editor Zaffar Abbas told Reuters, adding that non-compliance was met with circulation blockages and cuts in advertising by enterprises linked to the military.

"Some papers are unable to take those pressures."

The CPJ said military success against militants over the past few years had slashed the number of journalists being killed. But at the same time, several reporters had been attacked by unidentified men after publishing reports critical of the military.

"People in the military and sometimes in government have discovered that there are indirect ways of putting influence on the press," CPJ Asia coordinator Steven Butler, who wrote the report, told Reuters.

A handful of unexplained abduction and assault cases served as a reminder, he said.

"The threat of violence is there.

Young sitar performer from interior Sindh wins the grand 'Funkaar-e-Aala' title

The best out of these acts was chosen to be a teenaged Hindu girl's performance on the sitar. - Ritika Dhanji !

NESTLÉ NESFRUTA recently celebrated Pakistani talent with a grand, multidimensional TV show, NESTLÉ NESFRUTA FUNKAAR.
Shameful "begging/ sponsoring" from an Non- Islami Multi-National
- Firstly, not sure why "sitar and tabla" music and musicians are being "encouraged " here . Sitar has Hindu ( and therefore "dushman" ) origins
- Secondly to top it, the young "Funkaar-e-Aala" recipient, being eugolized here is clearly of Hindu origin. Her name : Ritika Dhanji !
- Thirdly, there is already a fatwa on record ( by the Late Ayatollah Khomeina ) emphasizing that music is "forbidden" in Malsi
- Fourthly, hope the teenaged Hindu does not become the usual "target" of some Malsian who has "suddenly fall in love with her"

Paki Supreme Court Takes Tough Stance Against Hafiz Suar And His Outfit

SC rejects govt’s plea against LHC interim order to allow Jud, FIF ‘welfare activities’
Pakistan Today
Sept 12, 2018
ISLAMABAD: The federal government’s plea on Wednesday against a Lahore High Court (LHC) decision to allow the Jamatud Dawa (JuD) and Falah-e-Insaniat Foundation (FIF) to continue their ‘welfare activities’ was rejected by the Supreme Court (SC).An SC bench comprised of Justice Manzoor Ahmad Malik and Justice Sardar Tariq Masood heard the Ministry of Interior’s plea.
JuD chief Hafiz Saeed had moved the court against government sanctions following which the LHC had allowed the JuD and FIF to continue with their ‘welfare activities’ until the court reached a verdict. The Ministry of Interior had moved the apex court against the LHC’s interim order. The SC bench observed that the federal government was already a party to the case that the provincial top court was hearing and therefore, dismissed the plea.
Earlier, the ministry had contested that the interim order was creating a hindrance for the state to comply with local and international legal requirements. Earlier in February, an order had been promulgated by the president which had amended the anti-Terrorism Act of 1997. The amendment had pertained to Sections 11-B and 11-EE.The amendment was reportedly timed before the Financial Action Task Force meeting Paris.Following the ordinance’s promulgation, all JuD and FIF properties in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, and 148 properties and assets in Punjab had been seized.Saeed and others had then challenged the government’s seizures in the LHC.The petitioners had contended that the country’s sovereignty was undermined following the presidential ordinance.
Unable to "cipher" this legal mumbo-jumbo . Is he allowed to continue his "so-called welfare activities" or has he been stopped from doing so

Paki Deep State OK With Domino's Drone Delivery Of Pizza In Pakiland's Mega Cities

Domino’s Pizza Launches Drone Delivery Service in Pakistan
Pro Pakistani
Sept 12, 2018
In what seems to be an elaborate marketing stunt by Dominos Pizza Pakistan, you can now get pizza delivered at your doorstep. Now if you are like us, you must be thinking how are they even going to accomplish this feat of feats, and that too in your own backyard. Before we get to those concerns, let us take a look at Domino’s Pizza’s brand new commercial that shows us how it’s going to work:
Still feeling flabbergasted? Here’s what Domino’s has shared regarding its drone delivery service in select Pakistani cities (they still haven’t announced which ones for now):
Domino’s will be using a limited range drone to carry out deliveries. These drones are intended for personal use and can’t fly over long distances. If you thought that the Domino’s branch from Bahadurabad was going to deliver your food all the way to Gulshan-e-Iqbal, then its time to put those thoughts to rest.
Am 99.99% sure that the Deep State of Pakistan will shoot this idea of drone delivery on the excuse of "national security is likely to be threatened" by this ! This is a paranoid nation where tourists are subjected to personal interview by ISI if they want to visit "the so called Northern Areas"

CPEC: Pakistan has a strategic plan for Gwadar - Sept 12, 2018 - And there was the harebrained idea of building an oil pipeline right up from Gwadar to Khunjarab Pass- the oil coming from the nearby Hormuzd Straits - notwithstanding the unfriendly terrain, the hostile Malsic tribesmen living in that area , the extreme climatic conditions prevailing there ! Makes sense IMO, taking into consideration that the Chinese have their eyes on Naval/ submarine base for servicing their fleet patrolling the Arabian Sea / Indian Ocean !

SC rejects govt plea against JuD 'welfare activities' - Hasnaat Malik

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Wednesday rejected the federal government’s plea against a Lahore High Court (LHC) order allowing Jamat-ud-Dawa (JuD) and its affiliated Falah-e-Insaniat Foundation (FIF) to continue their ‘welfare activities’.

The apex court’s two-judge bench, comprising Justice Manzoor Ahmad Malik and Justice Sardar Tariq Masood, took up the interior ministry’s plea against LHC’s interim order. JuD chief Hafiz Saeed had submitted a petition against government sanctions.

While Saeed’s petition was still being heard, in April, LHC passed the order allowing FIF to continue activities until the final judgment was released. Later, the government approached the apex court against the high court verdict.

Proscription of JuD: SC to take up today appeal against LHC order

The bench noted that the government is already involved in the high court’s hearing and hence dismissed the application.

Earlier, the interior ministry contended the interim order was creating a hindrance for Pakistan in complying with international and local legal requirements. It was also learnt that if the LHC’s order remains in the field, then it will have severe implications for the country.

In February, the president promulgated an ordinance amending the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997 with regard to the proscription of terrorist individuals and organisations to include entities listed by the UNSC, in a bid to declare Saeed’s JuD and FIF as proscribed groups.

The ordinance amended Sections 11-B and 11-EE of the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997 (XXVII of 1997). Section 11-B sets parameters for the proscription of groups, whereas 11-EE describes the grounds for the listing of individuals.

Both sections would now include Sub-Section ‘AA’, according to which organisations and individuals “listed under the United Nations (Security Council) Act, 1948 (XIV of 1948),” will be included in the First Schedule (for organisations) and Fourth Schedule (for individuals), respectively, on an ex-parte basis.

The move was apparently aimed at declaring JuD and the FIF, as proscribed groups ahead of the Financial Action Task Force’s (FATF) meeting in Paris which decided to put Pakistan on the grey list from June this year.

After the promulgation of the ordinance, all properties of JuD and the FIF were confiscated in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Some 148 properties and assets of the outfits were also seized in Punjab. Later, JuD chief and others challenged the presidential ordinance in the high court.

The petition had contended that Pakistan is a sovereign state, but through this ordinance, its sovirginity has been jeopardised. It also claimed that the promulgation of the ordinance and addition of Section 11-EE is not only prejudicial to the sovereignty but also contradictory to the fundamental rights enshrined in the Constitution of Pakistan. What Sovirginity! Terroristani Sovirginity has Seen More Traffic than the Banihal Tunnel!

LHC orders govt not to harass JuD chief

It said any law which is violative of constitutional provisions is liable to be struck down. The petition suggested that under Article 199 of the Constitution, it is competent to strike down any legislation which is beyond the scope of Constitution or ultra vires.

It requested the court that the vires of the ordinance and consequent amendment in section 11 B and 11-EE of ATA may be declared illegal. The matter is still pending before the high court. The Interior Ministry had contended that Pakistan is under obligation to comply with the UNSC decision to declare JuD and the FIF as proscribed groups.

X Posted on the Analyzing CPEC Thread

CPEC confusion – Editorial

When the new government sat down with the Chinese to ‘renew’ cooperation under the CPEC project, the day was marked more by confusion than fanfare.

It all began with the report in the Financial Times which quoted the prime minister’s commerce adviser Abdul Razak Dawood as saying that CPEC “unfairly benefits Chinese companies” through tax breaks and many other incentives that are unavailable to local counterparts. Not only that, he went on to say that the deals under CPEC would be reviewed, adding that “we should put everything on hold for a year so we can get our act together”.

These words were published on the same day as the country heard that Chinese and Pakistani delegates sat down together, and after a long meeting, agreed to broaden the base of the CPEC arrangement as well as open it up to involvement by ‘third countries’ that might be friendly to both China and Pakistan.

Unfortunately, the two messages did not mix well. Soon a ‘clarification’ arrived from the commerce adviser, asserting that he was “quoted out of context”. This, of course, begs the question what the original context was since the words uttered by him are quite clear.

While both governments spoke of renewing ties, broadening the base of their cooperation and inviting others to participate in their bonhomie, at least one of the ministers let it slip that there are powerful apprehensions about the entire deal within Pakistan. Long before we heard the words of the commerce adviser, who hails from the business community, we have heard various trade and business bodies articulate the very same concerns in very similar language.

Going forward, it is necessary to heed the substance of both voices that spoke on Monday. There is no doubt that CPEC should continue, and certainly grow with time. China is arguably Pakistan’s most important neighbour and has been a consistent friend through the decades. But as we move forward, it is important that Pakistan’s own interests, and political traditions, be kept front and centre.

To what extent does the new government wish to heed the voice of the business community when formulating its approach to CPEC? How far is the new government willing to go to honour its commitment to the electorate to conduct an audit of some CPEC projects like the Orange Line train, or to bring greater transparency to future CPEC negotiations such as those around the ML 1 project, or to place details of past agreements before parliament?

All of these are commitments made by the PTI before and after the election and we need to know where they stand today. Following Mr Dawood’s remarks, the Chinese embassy in Pakistan also issued a strongly worded reaction denying the interview altogether. It is clear that the time to choose the future course of CPEC has arrived. Wishful Thinking. The Chinese have paid sufficient "INCENTIVES" both to the Army as well as the Political and Bureaucratic Leaderships! It would be like "Bolting the Door After the Horse has Bolted!

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday presided over a meeting to review progress on formulation of a roadmap for the construction of five million houses across the country and decided that the project would be monitored and implemented directly by the Prime Minister Office.
I thought, Imran held the Interior Minister's portfolio, not the "Minister in charge of Housing" . Unless Housing falls under Interior Dept
It was decided in the meeting that the prime minister would take the “ownership” of the initiative to ensure smooth implementation and remove any administrative bottlenecks, says an official announcement made by the PM Office.Mr Khan directed the committee to finalise its recommendations regarding formulation of a comprehensive plan of action with delineated timelines within two weeks for early launching of the housing programme.
Paki bureaucracy put in overdrive which it not used to . Hope there is enough "fuel" for the up hill drive
Talking to Dawn, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry explained that the five million housing project would be monitored and implemented by the PM Office, instead of the Ministry of Housing.
Now, it is clear ! The Kaptaan has appropriated the "five million housing project" from the Minister Of Housing . Probably, no "confidence" in his Housing Minister ! Too much is riding on this "promise of five million housing" for Aam Abduls !!!
The minister said that the government aimed to “acquire all the illegal lands from the rich and influential people (Is, Imran "acting" like a Modern Islami Robin Hood ) and give it to the poor”. He added that the anti-encroachment drive currently under way in various cities was also part of the scheme. He said that the government would soon reveal all details of the housing scheme.
Earlier, through his official account on social media website Twitter, Mr Khan said that Pakistan was sitting on hundreds of billions of rupees in “dead capital” in the form of state land and rest houses and official residences built on that land.
That broken record - again - of dead capital / dead land ! The Kaptaan's biodata states he has a "degree" from Oxford in Philosophy, Politics and ECONOMICS ! The Captain Of The Cricket Team needs to "brush" up his Economics 101
The prime minister said that he had come to know that 34,459 kanals of the state-owned land was located in rural areas while 17,035 kanals was in urban areas.“Just the urban land with buildings is worth over Rs300bn,” Mr Khan tweeted.“A country that has to borrow money to pay interest on its loans is sitting on huge amounts of dead capital in the form of the government-owned land with buildings,” Mr Khan said.
No wonder he has acquired the deserved moniker of Im The Dim

The Kaptaan is probably "inspired" by this famous Poem Of Robert Browning

The (Bani Gala) woods are lovely, dark and deep
But I have promises ( of an Islamic State !) to keep
And miles to go , (and billions to raise ) before I sleep
And miles to go, ( and billions to raise ) before I sleep

Red flags are up already!

A faulty beginning
Almost a month after taking the reins, the new dispensation has yet to find its moorings. A disjointed team of novices and the lack of clear policy direction do not evoke much confidence.
Numerous taskforces have been formed to chart out the plan of action in various fields; but until they start functioning there will be chaos.
Additionally, events over the past week have revealed an amateurish approach to handling critical issues related to governance.
Populist rhetoric seems to have substituted policy.
It is voodoo economics and politics in action — dams will be built through public donations and ‘unutilised state land’ can be used to reduce our debt burden. Just wait for the 100-day miracle, we are told.
Without a clear vision it will be more of the same or worse.
Nothing could be more humiliating for a globally recognised economist and a professor at one of America’s top universities, who had volunteered to work for the country. It was a shameful surrender to zealots.
he appeared to be afraid of religious extremists within and outside his party.
One can ask, what kind of ‘naya Pakistan’ does the prime minister intend to build? Surely not one that is more regressive than what we have witnessed in the past?
Most worrisome is the observation that the pressure to remove Atif Mian was stronger within the PTI, bringing to the surface the paradox of a party that claims to represent the educated middle classes and youth.
No action was taken by the party leadership against the Punjab information minister who went to the grave of Mumtaz Qadri to pay homage to the convicted murderer.
Meanwhile, the conduct of diplomacy too has been amateurish.
Despite being an experienced hand, the over-exuberant foreign minister has been at the centre of controversy. His fondness for holding frequent press talks generates more confusion. His misreading of a letter from Narendra Modi to Imran Khan that New Delhi was willing to resume bilateral talks caused embarrassment, especially as the Indian authorities denied there was any such offer.
Similarly, the hype regarding the outcome of talks with visiting US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was also misplaced.
In addition, there was the report of the prime minister refusing to take a prearranged call from the French president while he was busy talking to a group of journalists — if correct, it was an undiplomatic approach.
A faux pas by the adviser on commerce and trade has caused some problems with Beijing. In an interview with the Financial Times, he suggested that work on CPEC could be stopped for a year or more because the Pakistani government wanted to renegotiate the terms and conditions with the Chinese companies on some projects.
The PTI and the government must decide what kind of future they want to chart for the country. The Atif Mian case has dealt a blow to the government’s credibility, and has further emboldened the bigots and extremists who present the biggest threat to the political and economic stability of the country.
And these actions are just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. PNS Titanica urf Pakhanistanica is steaming full speed ahead towards it. Next 80 days will be quite interesting. Hail Jahanpanah (sorry... prime minister) I'm The Dim.

The On-Off , On-Off Irani -Paki Pipeline Is On Again !

Pakistan won’t bow down to any pressure against IP gas pipeline: Sarwar
Sept 12, 2018
ISLAMABAD – Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Ghulam Sarwar Khan has called for greater cooperation between Pakistan and Iran in areas of energy and petroleum.
He was talking to Iranian Ambassador Mehdi Honardoost, who called on him in Islamabad on Wednesday.
He said Pakistan is fully committed to implementing Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline project without any foreign pressure. He said IP gas project is the top priority for Pakistan more than any other gas pipeline project, unfortunately, the project was delayed in past due to international sanctions, he added.
The ambassador drew the attention of the minister on the exploration of possibilities in energy sector cooperation especially IP gas pipeline. He said IP gas pipeline will be a game changer for the region as other countries are willing to cooperate in the construction of this gas pipeline. The ambassador also offered cooperation in government to government deal in the area of import of petroleum products to curb the smuggling. The minister acknowledged the cooperation offered by Iran in areas of electricity supply to coastal areas. They also agreed to enhance bilateral trades between the two countries.
IMO, the Pakis are emboldened by the new found bonhomie between Pakistan and Iran under the regime of Imran Khan . That is why there has been a flurry of diplomatic activities between Isloo and Tehran and Isloo and Riyadh . Ministers and envoys flying back and forth . The Saudis are sensing ( correctly IMO ) that Immy is veering towards Iran. This transaction between Iran and Pakistan- if it happens - will make the Iranis economically stronger and ultimately the Saudis will be the loser in the end ! But the Saudis also control the "dollar tap" to Pakiland. And the US is waiting for the day when the Pakis are "going to put their loan application to IMF " I am sure it may not that easy for the Pakis to build the pipeline ( leave aside the financial angle because they do not have the money !) IMO, IMF monies will flow only if the pipeline project is shelved . And of course, the Saudi pressure is there too . Interesting times ahead . The Paki Petroleum Minister might have to eat his words ( " Pakistan won't bow down to any pressure against IP gas pipeline" )

Suar Wins Again !

SC permits Hafiz Saeed’s JuD, FIF to run charity operations
Sept 12, 2018
ISLAMABAD – The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday permitted Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) and its humanitarian arm Falahi Insaniyat Foundation (FIF) to continue their relief and charity work in the country, a private news channel reported. The two-member SC bench including Justice Manzoor Ahmed Mulk and Justice Sardar Tariq Masood rejected the federal government’s appeal against Lahore High Court’s verdict
JuD’s network includes 300 seminaries and schools, hospitals, a publishing house and ambulance services. The JuD and FIF alone have about 50,000 volunteers and hundreds of other paid workers, according to two counter-terrorism officials.Earlier, the Pakistani government banned companies and individuals from making donations to JuD, FIF, and other organisations on the UNSC sanctions list.

Falijee Ji:

Sanjay Dixit is as Relevant today as he was in June 2016.

The only way that Indians have had Iran perform-keep its commitments is by the Private Sector. However the Government of India “Officials” have in many instances had Iran not honouring its commitments.

When Iran is a “Buyer” it stipulates “Deal subject to Final Confirmation say Two Working Days of Finalization. IIRC the price was about US$ 3.5 Per MMBTU.

However the latest Iranian “Letdown” was when Mani Shankar Aiyar agreed in the Natural Gas Purchase that “Agreement subject to Iranian Parliamentary Approval.

An agreement was reached and presented to the Iran Parliament for its Final Approval.

To India’s Bad Luck the Natural Gas Prices started to Rise and the Iranian Parliament went into Deep Slumber – eventually the deal was “Dropped”.

The Iranians also negotiated similarly with China for LNG. Iran also used the “Subject to Iranian Parliamentary Approval”. The Deal, I believe, fell through.

China took its revenge by agreeing to build 25 to VLCC Tankers of about 300,000 MT Deadweight Capacity some time in 2013-15 and the Chinese Payment was by contracting Iranian Crude per Barrel at the prevailing price - at the time of shipment from the Iranian Load Port - which was 2013 : $91.17, 2014 : $ 85.60, 2014 : $ 85.80, 2015 : $ 41.85, 2016 : $ 36.34, Part of 2017 : $ 42.63

In short India has always had the short end of the stick in its “Interaction” with Iran.

BTW : Please find out the Quantum Trade between India and Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan !

Meet The Brand New Housing Minister Of Pakiland - Aneel Musarrat !

Aneel Musarrat says advising Imran Khan for free to build 5 million homes
The News International
Sept 12, 2018
LONDON: Millionaire British Pakistani entrepreneur Aneel Musarrat has said that he is not taking any formal position in his friend Imran Khan’s cabinet but will be providing advice on Imran Khan’s plans to build 5 million homes.
When you have "friends" like Imran, who needs formal position
Since Imran Khan took oath as Prime Minister of Pakistan, there have been lot of speculation about the role of Aneel Musarrat whose pictures with Imran Khan and few other top Pakistani officials went viral. The latest speculation involves around images in which the prime minister is chairing a meeting in which British nationals Aneel Musarrat and Sahibzada Jahangir can be seen sitting in the official media – with some in media questioning about their role and position in the new government.
Imran is the Kaptaan ! He can ask "anyone" to bowl, bat, field or get out !
Aneel Musarrat was seen again in the cabinet meeting on Monday where the prime minister chaired meeting to review progress on the formulation of a road-map for construction of five million houses across the country.
Has Aneel been "vetted" by The Premiere Institution. There were some earlier reports in the Paki Press that he is on "good terms" with lots of people in that Dushman Nation
Sahibzada Jahangir, elder brother of Fauzia Kasuri, is amongst Imran Khan’s oldest friends, one of the PTI founders and Khan’s advisor on overseas Pakistanis while Aneel Musarrat has known Imran Khan from 2004 onwards.
So, in spite of the promise of Naya Pakistan nepotism is alive and thriving in Pakiland !
Speaking to this correspondent for the first time about his role, Aneel Musarrat confirmed that he is not taking any formal position with the government of Pakistan and has no plans of doing business in Pakistan.
No one "does anything for free" . Later on it will come out that the Kaptaan threw some "advisory contracts " towards Aneel's companies or obliged some "mutual friends"
During the meeting, said Aneel Musarrat, it was decided that PM Imran will take ownership of the initiative in order to ensure smooth implementation and remove any administrative bottlenecks. IOW, rules and regulations will be over-ridden in the name of "efficiency" !
Aneel Musarrat said that he will not be doing business in Pakistan to avoid conflict of interest. “Alhamdullilah, I am doing profitable businesses in the United Kingdom and Europe and the profit return is good. I am interested in Pakistan only because its country of my origin and I want to give something back, not get anything. I will not do any business and I will not get any money for advising Imran Khan’s task force on housing.
That is what "everyone" says . Caveat Emptor !
However, the millionaire businessman confirmed that he will be giving advice to Imran Khan’s team dedicated to provide five million houses equipped with all basic facilities.
Hope he does not give advice on "voodoo economics" to Imran
Aneel Musarrat has been helping Imran Khan and his sister Aleema Khan to raise funds for Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital (SKCH) and Namal College for about 12 years now through fundraising events in Manchester. He’s considered quite close to Imran Khan, who has attended weddings of his daughter and family members in Manchester in London. Leading Bollywood actors and Indian businessmen (The Dushman connection is confirmed right here ) have also attended these weddings as Aneel is believed to have good ties with the leading lights of Indian film industry.
Aneel Musarrat, aged 48, made his name in UK’s property market after starting off as a small time property trader but steadily grew up and started constructing and renting properties at commercial level. His current worth is around £300 million and he was once listed as one of the richest persons in the UK. ( This is not confirmed ! It may be an "opinion" ) His company directly employs more than 3000 people in various UK sites. :((

Female British Labour MP - And "Friend" Of PM Imran Khan ! - Asks Him A "Favour" . ( Concerning The Matter Of A Honour Killing Due To The Cesspool of "Cousin Marriages" !)

Naz Shah wants PM Imran Khan to intervene in honour killing case of Briton
The News International
Sept 12, 2018
Image
MP Naz (sans- without - makeup ! )
LONDON: Labour Party parliamentarian from Bradford West Naz Shah MP has written to prime minister Imran Khan urging him to intervene in the honour killing case of British Pakistani Samia Shahid who was killed by her parents and former husband in 2016.
Samia Shahid, originally from Bradford, was killed by her family for divorcing her first husband, who was her cousin, ( the cesspool of cousin marriages, leading to genetic physical and mental deficiencies , leading in turn to extra-ordinary pressure on the UK Health Budget !) to marry Syed Mukhtar Kazim.
Samia Shahid's first husband, Chaudhry Muhammad Shakeel has been freed on bail due to a lack of progress in the trial and he denies her murder but the Bradford West MP wants Prime Minister Imran Khan to intervene and make sure "that the state are prosecuting and are taking real care of what they are doing".
So, the culprit has flown the coop and sought refuge in Pakiland
"The fact that he has been released on bail does really raise my concerns. I'm really worried about the state of the case," she has written to the premier, according to a copy of the letter seen by this correspondent.
British problem becomes a Paki problem and vice versa ( Dar and Altaf bhai !)
She told Imran Khan that Samia Shahid was lured to her death in a so called “honour killing” which happened in the village of Pindori in the Punjab over two years ago .
Pakistan has become a "refuge land" for all sorts of crooks, criminals and terrorists ( Dawood, OBL, Hafiz Suar )
Naz Shah has previously raised the issue of Samia Shahid and British national Barrister Fahad Malik, who was killed two years ago in Islamabad and whose case awaits trial, with the Pakistani authorities.
Naz is a "frequent visitor" to the Khan's residence at Bani Gala . She was seen there for a chai biskoot session - with lots of make up - last year
She wrote: In the first instance her death was presented as non suspicious, however, serious allegations of a cover-up were raised by her husband following a speedy burial. International outrage led to the truth being established, she had died of asphyxiation. Her father and first husband were charged however her father has subsequently passed away.
Due to her Paki connections, she has been tasked by HMG ( as an Labour MP) to see that "justice" is done by the Paki Police ! And now, she is of course, using her pull with Immy ! It is now up to her to use her "charm"- long distance - with The Kaptaan for the sake of "justice"
“This week I have been informed that despite being charged with murder on the basis of clear evidence, the accused has been granted bail having spent two years in custody. I am deeply concerned and am struggling to understand why the state has not taken the lead in this case to pursue justice, and, alarmingly why the onus is on the victim’s family to pursue justice and pay for the prosecution team.” She has completely "forgotten" that Sharia exists in Pakiland not British justice !
The MP has written to the PM that she is worried “that this case will be forgotten and that any further delay in proceedings risks justice not being served for Samia and her family. To this end I would welcome any assistance and assurance that your office can give that this is not the case and that this case will be tried to a conclusion.”
If she is following Paki politics, she should know that Imran has got "too much on his plate right now " ( Paki cash crunch, IMF loan application, CPEC mess, Ganja matter, the matter of 5 million houses, Aneel Mussarat , Kasim and Suleiman , the 200 Billion Dollar Stolen Money and list goes on and on  ) to "worry" about a trifle matter of "honour killing" !

Forced to flee: The heart-breaking tale of minorities in Pakistan - M Khudadad Chattha

Today it might be Shias, Christians, Hindus and those who speak out for them who are targeted. Today it might be Atif Mian who was humiliated because of his faith. Tomorrow it might be you and me. Also including Sikhs and Jains

Two Pakistanis waited for their Uber ride thousands of miles away from home in New York City. This was inarguably one of the most forgettable moments in their lives.

Yet, this same moment was about to acquire unparalleled significance.

As my friend and I settled into the comfortable leather seats of our Uber ride, we talked about the most clichéd topic on the planet; the weather. A few seconds into the conversation, our driver suddenly interjected.

“Can you guess where I am from?” he abruptly asked. My friend and I exchanged an uncomfortable look. Partly, because we were clueless and partly because the question was unexpected. While I decided not to make any wild guesses, my friend indulged the conversation with an educated guess. “Somewhere from Central Asia?” he tentatively asked. The driver chuckled and immediately corrected us. “I am from Pakistan. I am a Hazara.”

“You should have known!” we thought we heard him say.

Visibly embarrassed at not being able to recognise our fellow countryman, we decided to diffuse the situation by asking a plethora of questions. Where are you from? When did you move here? What did you do before? What about your family? Intrusive questions for a Westerner. Intimately familiar ones for any desi.

A Pakistani waited for his flight to move thousands of miles away from home. This moment was anything but insignificant. Leaving behind his hometown and a promising career in the Police was the hardest decision of his life. He clearly wanted to stay. But it is hard to stay when you, your family and your whole community is being butchered by militants. His batch mates would soon be promoted to senior ranks in the police. And he would soon start a new life as an Uber driver in New York City.

He had teared up while narrating his heart-breaking story. We weren’t expecting to cry that morning. But there we were. Baffled. Speechless. Unable to stop our tears.

“I love Pakistan and I always wanted to give my life for my country. That is the main reason why I joined the Police. But we are being killed because of our faces (we are easy to spot). And the government watches silently. Is this fair?! Is this fair?!”

His words echo in my mind every time I hear of injustice against minorities in my country. Mob attacks against Christians. Forced conversion of Hindus. Violence against Shias. A country that was originally made in order to safeguard the rights of minorities in South Asia chose to mete out the same treatment it was trying to escape to its own minorities. Also including Sikhs and Jains

A country whose founding father promised equal rights and justice to all minorities living within its borders. But a country that chose to break that promise as quickly as it was made. What a load of cobblers! The Muslims of what is now Pakistan and in India started their Slaughter of Hindus during Action Day declared by Jinnah on 11th August 1946

The irony.

As we arrived at our final destination, our Uber driver shoved his emotions aside for a moment and wished us well. We could tell that he had learnt to forget his story as quickly as he remembered it. To wipe those tears off as quickly as they appeared in his eyes. And to unconditionally love the same country in which he was shamelessly persecuted. Any sane person on the planet would have found it so easy to jump on the hate bandwagon and hurl curses at the country that destroyed his life. And yet, here he was. Drowning in his sorrows, but pulling himself back up the moment he realised that these scars were about to consume him.

As this story continues to haunt me every day, I am reminded of our driver’s foreboding words that reverberate in my head as I continue to witness it come true.

“Today we are the ones who are persecuted and you are not. Beware of the day when these extremists point their guns at you because of any aspect of your faith.”

Today it might be Shias, Christians, Hindus and those who speak out for them. Today it might be Atif Mian who was humiliated because of his faith.

Tomorrow it might be you and me. May be M Khudadad Chattha is a Shia or an Ahmedi

Kaptaan's "Out Of Box" (Flavor Of The Month  ) Solution For That Damn Dam : Create Diamer-Bhasha Dam Private Limited Company.

Diamer Bhasha Dam fund: PM Imran Khan has another out of box solution

ISLAMABAD - The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government under leadership of PM Imran Khan is set to take yet another initiative for the Diamer Bhasha Dam.
PM Imran Khan has decided to create a Diamer-Bhasha Dam Private Limited Company. Company will be generating funds for the construction of the dam through extending ownership to the general public and overseas Pakistanis.
Federal government is considering various options to ensure additional collection of funds and a policy in this regard will be introduced soon after getting the consent of all the provinces. “Pakistanis will find a reduction in monthly utility bills, while overseas Pakistanis will be given a profit in dollars. Consent of all provinces will also be ensured to guarantee the construction of the dam,” said sources.
If ever there was a hare brained scheme this is it !
Sharing details of a proposed plan regarding the formation of Diamer-Bhasha Dam Pvt Ltd Co., sources said that it was proposed to market the shares of this company through Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) in which approximately 52 per cent shares of the company will be owned by the government, while the remaining 48 per cent will be owned by the masses.
They said that a campaign to attract overseas Pakistanis to buy the shares of Diamer-Bhasha Dam will be launched to collect amounts for the dam and to balance the remittances of the country, said sources.
Moreover, the government is also considering putting the burden of constructing the dam on the rich instead of the poor. “Imposition of a tax on bridges, barrages and on inter-provincial crossing to collect amount for the dam is also under consideration,” they added.
PTI-government will time and again appeal to the nation to play their role in the construction of the direly needed dam. The government will also approach all political parties to convince them to participate in the drive for the dam construction, said sources.
Of course, as they say the devil is in the details . How long ( in decades) will it take to accumulate the capital amount ; what happens to the "donations" already to the Fund ( will it go to the CJP Retirement Fund ?) when will the project come on board ( Pakiland is going to be water scarce in 10-15 years !) . What is going to be the revenue source of the Dam Company ( higher water charges to the Aam Abduls ) . Will any financial company "touch" this project with a ten foot danda . Who is going to prepare a feasibility report . And the environmental effects of such a Dam . Lots of questions , but no "out of box" answers yet

You just need Rs10 stamp paper to change your faith here as you can see in the case of minor Hindu girl Kamni who has allegedly become another victim of forced conversion. Even her innocent face can tell us that she is not 18. Govt must bring a law to stop the #ForcedConversion.
