Baghdad sent already Hashd to the borders (last night and today). Indeed Abadi was unwise by preventing Hashd from attacking ISIS on the Syrian borders, as requested by the US.

heavy ISIL offensive in Deir Ezzur, the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported.
SOHR reported that the SDF have started protests at the US military after the US air force gave no support for the Kurdish militias to counter the ISIL’s heavy offensive in Eastern Deir Ezzur that inflicted a large number of casualties on the SDF.
The ISIL launched a heavy attack on the SDF in al-Souseh, al-Baqouz and Hajin on the Eastern banks of the Euphrates River on Saturday.
SOHR further added that a sum of 68 SDF gunmen, including a commander, that had been dispatched from Tabaqa in Western Raqqa to Deir Ezzur were killed and more than 100 others were injured in the ISIL attack.
It went on to say that the ISIL has captured al-Sousah and al-Baqouz in the attack, and seized tens of military and armored vehicles and a large volume of arms and ammunition.
A field source reported on Saturday that the SDF forwarded a long convoy of militants and equipment from its base in the town of Ein Issa in Raqqa province to Deir Ezzur.
The source further said that the SDF’s convoy moved under the US flag and included 20 military vehicles carrying arms and military hardware and also almost 100 SDF gunmen, heading towards SDF-held regions in Deir Ezzur.
In the meantime, the source said that 4 SDF gunmen were killed in unknown attackers’ raid on their position in the small town of Granij in Southeastern Deir Ezzur.
Meanwhile, the source said that a number of SDF members were killed and wounded after a bomb-laden vehicle went off in the village of Abu Hardoub in Southeastern Deir Ezzur.

More Benevolence from Bin Salman:
Saudi sisters from Farfax VA bound together with tape and tossed into Hudson river still alive, to drown.
And this takes the cake for dumbass reporting:
New York Police Department investigators believe the deaths to be suicides, the official said, though detectives are still investigating the circumstances surrounding them. Still, the NYPD is not ready to officially determine the causes of death. According to NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Public Information Phil Walzak, authorities are still actively investigating whether the deaths were the result of suicide, homicide or an accident.
{Or Alien Teleportation.}
Yup! Soosai. No possible doubt about it. They taped their feet and waists together and used a rocketship from Fairfax to boost themselves into the river? A balloon? Djinn Majik Carbet?

And this takes the cake for dumbass reporting:
(CNN)Authorities have so far uncovered nothing to suggest that two Saudi Arabian sisters whose bodies were found bound on the banks of the Hudson River were victims of foul play, according to a law enforcement official who spoke to CNN on the condition of anonymity.
The case remains steeped in mystery more than a week after the bodies of 22-year-old Rotana Farea and 16-year-old Tala Farea of Fairfax, Virginia, were discovered in upper Manhattan with their feet and waists bound together by duct tape.
Water was found in the sisters' lungs, the official said, leading investigators to believe they were alive when they entered the water. Police previously said the bodies showed no signs of trauma.

How Did Sisters Fleeing Saudi Arabia End Up Bound And Dead In The Hudson River?
Saudi Embassy Ordered Family To Leave U.S. After Daughters Applied For Political Asylum
Saudi Arabia’s Consulate General in New York said in a statement that it had “appointed an attorney to follow the case closely.”{And alert the hit squads if anyone got too close to the truth}Their mother told detectives the day before the bodies were discovered, she received a call from an official at the Saudi Arabian Embassy, ordering the family to leave the U.S. because her daughters had applied for political asylum, New York police said Tuesday.
The lack of obvious trauma appeared to rule out a theory they jumped into the river from the George Washington Bridge. {Saudi Con-sultanate} said the sisters were students “accompanying their brother in Washington.” Tala and Rotana moved to the U.S. from Saudi Arabia with their mother in 2015, settling in Fairfax, a suburb of Washington D.C., police said. Rotana was enrolled at George Mason University, but left in the spring. A George Mason spokesman called the news of her death “tragic,” and said the university was cooperating with police.
Police said the sisters left their family home and were placed in a shelter after an earlier disappearance, in December 2017. They were reported missing again Aug. 24. Police released sketches of the sister’s faces and posted repeated calls for the public’s help in identifying them on social media. Neither sister had much of a social media footprint.
“We are out to get justice for those two girls and find out exactly what happened,” Shea said.

All they have to do is to look at who left the Saudi embassy and the consulate in NYC recently, and get the Iranians to "rendition" them to Guantanamo for a chit-chat.

Terribly sad: the current version is that they ran out of money on their credit card and had no clue of other options, so they killed themselves. As terrible as that is, I also think it is way too convenient. They had applied for asylum in US, and I think that had a direct effect on their life-unexpectancy c/o Bin Salman.

Looks like Tight Embrace == Tighter Stab. DT strongly denies rumors of SeeAyyeh saying this and that and "fully backs his friend" as friend stands on edge of precipice. Is he going to be hung over the side till his heat and mind are won, or is he going to be pushed right over is the question. Curiously, oil prices have come SHARPLY down. Maybe a welcome relief for NaMostan, among other things.

'Total Surprise': Trump orders troops out of Syria
Seated at the head of his Situation Room conference table, President Donald Trump was adamant: American troops must come home from Syria. He had just announced as much to a crowd in Ohio. The assembled military and national security advisers told him the move was rash and unwise. So he gave them six months.
Eight months later, planning for the withdrawal is now underway -- against the advice of those same officials, who warned in April that Russia and Iran would gain stronger footholds in Syria when the US presence there evaporates. On Capitol Hill, even some of Trump's GOP allies were warning of a grave mistake.
"My sense is that it's been a shock through the administration that this was made," Senate Foreign Relations chairman Bob Corker told reporters on Wednesday after returning from the White House, where he had traveled to meet with Trump but was told as he waited the meeting was canceled.
"It's hard to imagine that any president would wake up and make this kind of decision with this little communication, with this little preparation," Corker said. "I mean, my understanding is that we're beginning to move out right now."
"We have won against ISIS," Trump said. "We've beaten them and we've beaten them badly. We've taken back the land and now it's time for our troops to come back home. I get very saddened when I have to write letters or call parents or wives or husbands of soldiers who have been killed fighting for our country." He added later, "So our boys, our young women, our men, they're all coming back and they're coming back now. We won, and that's the way we want it." Trump then pointed to the sky and said, "And that's the way they want it."

deep state will push back on this. they will find some way to keep their feet in the area saying 'small detachments of trainers' will remain to support the SDF and rely on a big picture guy like DT not to ask in too much detail what 'small' means.Aditya_V wrote:Hmm, any idea how the US has decided on this, how does the US deep state view this? and what impact it will have on the civil war? and what will happen to Israeli airstrikes. the ISIS reservation along the lower euphrates in syria centered on Al-Hajam has been kept for a reason. and SDFs best fighting units the kurds have long ago vanished to their homes up north. the DEZ province is ruled by some local tribes and rebadged militias under NATO tutelage. now and then they launch token attacks on the ISIS but make no real progress. instead they have suffered some bad massacres. the US pocket in Al tanf also makes it hard for the syrians to clean up and police the western deserts. the suprise ISIS raid on Sweida that kidnapped some 200 Druze women happened due to this no mans land being left open. syrians suspect the isis convoy crossed through al tanf pocket itself.
