Nothing to doubt about siddhu's khalistani credentials.

His insistence on being "made" punjab CM is the reason he left the BJP and it will also be the reason for him to leave the congress.

Take a look at today's news channels where he has been photographed openly with the khalistani stooge gopal chawla, who is backed by the ISI.

im the dim has asked for the change of leadership in India and has backed siddhu as a very strong contender for the post of India's PM.

khartarpur is a paki khalistani revival plot. people who don't see it for what it is are foolish. Bhindranwalle is rising under a new name.

sikh pilgrims should take cautious advantage while the going is still good.

Indian officials have been banned from entry into khartarpur by the pakis as also they have been banned from entry into several gurudwaras in the UK by the khalsitanis there. bajwa doctrine at play here.

khartarpur is chock a block with khalistani posters and propaganda material aimed very very specifically at suborning Indian sikh pilgrims under paki army/isi controlled conditions.

The khalistanis are beginning to see some headway now and the pak army with bajwa and the isi along with some eu outfits are responsible for this. As an immediate objective, they all want Modi out of the way in 2019.

I wonder how that prized idiot pierre trudeau feels now. India was completely vindicated in snubbing him.

Here is the list of journalists ‘approved’ by Pakistan High Commission to cover Kartarpur event

OpIndia has accessed a list of Indian journalists who have been approved by the Pakistan High Commission to travel to Pakistan and cover the Kartarpur Corridor inauguration ceremony.

On November 22, the government of India had announced its intention to build the Indian side of the Kartarpur Corridor and had urged Pakistan to reciprocate by building the corridor on Pakistan side. On the same day, Pakistan had responded positively. After that, Pakistan moved swiftly and announced that prime minister Imran Khan will lay the foundation stone for the corridor on 28th November. India will lay the foundation stone for its side of the corridor on 26th November.

The Kartarpur Corridor inauguration ceremony in Pakistan had created quite the stir in India after Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu accepted Imran Khan’s invite and had praised Imran Khan profusely. Minister Sushma Swaraj couldn’t go and Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh had declined the invitation. Swaraj had also reiterated that sending India’s representatives to Pakistan does not open the doors to talks.

I hope, the Indian side does not allow visa free access to anti-India Pakistani/Khalistani Sikhs into India. ISI would like nothing better then a safe corridor to push terrorist disguised as Sikhs into India. All the people using this corridor should be finger printed and eye scanned to match with the visa applications to weed out the unwelcome visitors from the other side.India should introduce the practise of finger printing/ eye scanning the visa applicants in pakistan.

LaWhore-via-Kuwait! Trouble in paradise?

Currency confiscated from Kuwaiti diplomat
Customs authorities seized $46,500 from an attaché of the Kuwaiti embassy at the Islamabad International Airport on Wednesday.
...asked the diplomat to produce official permission document from the State Bank  to carry the amount.
The customs authorities said the official produced a certificate of his embassy as well as his salary certificate :D
A senior customs official said the diplomat was allowed to go.
Now, this is what happens when nanga-bhooka bhikharis get too big for their own shoes. That Kuwaiti probably earns that amount per week. He is a diplomat and came prepared with a salary certificate (he knew he would be stopped - I mean, who travels with a salary certificate?). Then the audacity of the bhikharis to ask if the diplomat had permission from the state bank! Why would he need that? And, finally, the pakis got richer by $46,500 after they "seized/confiscated" that amount. Expect fireworks and demarches. A few hundred paki daily laborers will be fired in Kuwait and their two months salaries will not be paid. All that HS&D down the tubes by a few over zealous customs officials.

Fun times ahead. watch this space.

The Paki snakes have played this well. At a time where the news should have been full of stories about Mumbai 26/11 and Pakistan's sponsoring of terrorism we instead have Imran, Sidhu etc on tv acting as if Pakistan is some kind of beacon of love and peace. They have stolen the narrative and we have enabled that.

And we don’t expect anything better from a self centred retard like Sidhu but what about union ministers like Harsimrat Kaur Badal?? Talking about love and peace in front of Paki generals and Khalistani terrorists.

What on Earth have the GoI been doing and thinking this last week?

Modi govt made a blunder with this move. At the very least they should have barred Khalistani leaders from the function as a precondition to going forward with this charade of a function. We have handed the Pakis a platform for propaganda (PM wants peace, Paki making all the initiatives and India obstinate, Pak army fully on board on 'peace' initiatives etc) on a platter and are doing precious little to counter it. As in past blunders, it looks like we will have to rely on Paki stupidity/nature to **** this up for them via some terror attack or other such jihadi idiocy.

That may have been the intent from the very start. India closes the Kartarpur Corridor leading to discontent in Indian Punjab.
Kartarpur Gurudwara is not that important for Sikhs. Bigger important landmarks for Sikhs are

1. Gurudwara Janamasthan and its adjoining Gurudwaras at Nankana Sahib.
Bal Lila where Guru Nanak Played, Patti Sahib where Guru Nanak got educated, Mall ji sahib where Cobra protected Guru Nanak, etc.
2. Gurudwara Sacha Sauda at Chuharkana (about 10 miles from Nankana sahib)
3. Gurudwara Dera Sahib (Where Guru Arjan dev ji attained martyrdom) in Lahore
4. Gurudwara Janam Asthan Guru Ram Das ji at Lahore.
5. Gurudwara for Shahid Bhai Taru singh (which has been converted to mosque by local muslims) in Lahore.

While this may sound like a qadiani sazzish to get a dedicated corridor to qadian), I think that's a dystant non-viability from happening. Low probability that India (even with its inherent faults) will permit that sort of connectivity. Or is it? Look at the fiasco at the ground breaking ceremony for Kartarpur Corridor. Anything is possible in this day and age.

Modi did shake hands with a qadiani leader in Israel. Was it intentional?

Did they?

I think it is easier for us armchair experts to immediately comment on what is a blunder or not for very nuanced and delicate situation. And extremely emotive. It may not be that important, but it surely is very emotive. Think of it as "Teri Maa mere kabze mein hain" (your mother is under my captivity) and then the options you have.

The corridor to Kartarpur was first proposed by the A.B Vajpayee's government. This is a culmination of that proposal. If to get the corridor (that is basically an intrusion into Bakistani territory for perpetuity) one has to drink poison and hold it there like a neel-kantha, so be it.

Within few years, Bakistani cannot claim Kartarpur Sahib as part of their territory and neither they can hold it to ransom. Crusades were launched over smaller issues.

As per Sidhu current-congress-MLA-ex-BJP-who-wants-to-become-CM gallivanting with ISI stooges., priceless. Khalistanis trying to claim moral victory for Kartarpur Sahib and instead seen sucking thumbs - priceless. Of course Khalistanis want to give credit to Sidhu since they cannot give credit to BJP/Congress/India.

Think of Sidhu as the crow going to the Owl's nest as in Panchatantra, except Sidhu does not know he is the crow.

Regarding Bakis doing propah-gandu, well they have been doing it since their birth and nobody believes their propah-gandu. Theirs are empty slogans until they hand over Halfis-Suar. He has a price tag of $5M. Another trump presidency and we may as well have our own zero-dark-thirty.

Agree. That corridor is not to connect qadian with Kartarpur. It is a one way traffic (with return tickets) for Sikhs from India. I believe that's a false flag (the latent qadiani effect) the pakis have encouraged their non-state actors to raise. Now that you have explained that Kartarpur Gurudwara is not that important in Sikhism and for Sikhs, that raises other valid doubts on the true purpose of this corridor.

My suggestion, let the foundation stones remain but kill the deal.

Govt still hopeful New Delhi's response will change after elections, PM tells Indian media

Prime Minister Imran Khan, in an interaction with the representatives of Indian media at PM Office on Thursday, said he had tried to reach out to New Delhi since the day he assumed office but received a "bad response" after which he "decided to wait until after the Indian election for a gesture from their side", The Hindu reported.

The "bad response" referred to here is when a meeting scheduled between the foreign ministers of the two countries along the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) was called off by New Delhi citing "unclean intentions".

On the day the PTI released a performance report of its 100 days, the premier stressed on the country's commitment to and desire for peace, saying it was not in Pakistan's interest to let its soil be used for terrorism, according to The Indian Express.

“It is not in our interest to allow the use of Pakistan’s territory for terror outside. People in Pakistan want peace with India. The mindset of people here has changed,” the publication reported Prime Minister Khan as saying.

His remarks come just a day following Indian Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj's refusal to come to the table for dialogue between the two countries at the Saarc platform.

She had brushed off any possibility of improvement in relations between India and Pakistan, despite the opening of the Kartarpur crossing. "Until and unless Pakistan stops terrorist activities in India, there will be no dialogue and we will not participate in Saarc [conference]," Swaraj had asserted.

To a question put forth by India Today TV on what actions his government was taking with respect to the chief of thebanned Jamaatud Dawa (JuD) outfit, Hafiz Saeed, considered by India to be the mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, the premier reminded them that there was a legal case against him in Pakistan.

According to NDTV, he said: "There are UN sanctions against Hafiz Saeed. There is already a clampdown on the Jamaatud Dawa chief. These are the issues we have inherited". Khan mentioned that his government "cannot be held responsible for the past".

When asked whether there would be a "grand gesture" by Pakistan in dealing with Hafiz Saeed or gangster Dawood Ibrahim, Prime Minister Khan said that such gestures can be made "only up to a certain point" following which reciprocity must be demonstrated.

"India must reciprocate... we understand till your elections in 6 months but after that, we need a response," India Today TV quoted him as having asserted.

The premier had made a strong case for the two countries to make tangible efforts to improve relations following the Kartarpur foundation stone laying ceremony held a day earlier.

"I am saying today, that our political leaders, our army, and all other institutions are all on one page. We wish to move forward, we want a civilised relationship. We have just one problem, Kashmir. If a man can walk on the moon, what problems are there that we cannot resolve?" he asked.

"If India takes one step forward, Pakistan will take two steps forward in friendship," Khan had promised.

Corridor must be used as long as it can be, it will expose Paki intention only . If they try to develop no good network in Punjab using the same corridor, it will be even better as it will show us our internal weaknesses and correct them to avoid getting blindsided. Either way this will be the last hopeful weapon in Paki tactical brilliance which will either fail or boomerang.

Troubles ahead: Balance of payments crisis appears far from over - Shahbaz Rana

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s balance of payments crisis seems far from over, as its net international reserves are negative $4 billion even after excluding the International Monetary Fund debt obligations, suggest latest figures released by State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

The SBP’s up to one year obligations exceed its gross official foreign currency reserves by at least $4 billion. Against $8.2 billion gross official reserves as of last week, the SBP’s short-term liabilities stand at nearly $12.2 billion.

The current gross official $8.2 billion reserves are largely maintained by taking short-term loans from commercial banks and taking Chinese and Saudi deposits under the currency swap arrangements.

As of September this year, the central bank borrowed $7.22 billion from commercial banks under the forward and currency swap arrangements, according to data that SBP released on Wednesday. The central bank was required to return $1.5 billion within one month, $3.2 billion in two months and remaining $2.6 billion up to one year, according to the official data.

The commercial banks swap deals are signed in the range of 2.5% to 4% interest rates, according to the banking sector sources.

In addition to this, SBP owes $3 billion to China, $1 billion to Saudi Arabia and $700 million to other sources, according to the sources. Around $453 million were to be repaid to the IMF in this fiscal year, which will be a direct charge on the SBP reserves.

This has resulted into negative $4 billion foreign currency reserves.

According to the IMF’s standard definition of the Net International Reserves (NIR), the central bank’s reserves would be negative $9.7 billion after including its total $6 billion obligations. But the IMF’s $6 billion repayments are spread over next five years, therefore, all the amount cannot be excluded against short-term liabilities of the central bank.

At the end of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) tenure, the SBP’s foreign currency swap position was $6.7 billion.

“The $7.22 billion foreign currency swaps must have been avoided due to the country’s bad experience in late 1990s,” said former finance minister Dr Hafiz Pasha. He said that the then government had to pay the foreign currency deposit holders in rupee at a premium rate after it exhausted their deposits.

In 1998, the then PML-N government had consumed foreign currency deposits of commercial banks after global powers imposed sanctions on Pakistan in retaliation to nuclear bomb explosions.

The $7.22 billion loans have been obtained by the central bank from commercial banks under F-25 and F-3 circulars, taking benefits of the foreign currency deposits of Pakistanis as well as foreign nationals, according to the sources in the banking sector.

The loans obtained under F E-25 circular are also shown part of both the central bank and commercial banks’ reserves. This is tantamount to double-booking of the currency reserves. Few months ago, Dr Asfhaque Hasan Khan, now a member of the Economic Advisory Council, had also termed the SBP’s foreign currency swaps deal as double booking. He had suggested that the swaps should have been excluded from the commercial banks’ reserves.

After receiving commitments from the friendly countries, Finance Minister Asad Umar had said that Pakistan’s balance of payments crisis was over. Prime Minister Imran Khan had also endorsed the finance minister’s statement in a cabinet meeting.

So far only Saudi Arabia had given firm commitments for providing $6 billion lifeline. The commitments from United Arab Emirates and China were still unclear. There is high possibility that China may rollover its $3 billion safe deposits that are due by end of this fiscal year. Pakistan’s talks with the IMF for a bailout package also failed, as both the sides could not converge on the main thorny issues including provision of data related to Chinese public and publically guaranteed debt.

In an interview with the Bloomberg on Wednesday, the finance minister said the government was not in a hurry to obtain a bailout package from the IMF to boost the country’s foreign exchange reserves. The wire agency quoted the minister as saying that, “We aren’t in a hurry. We are covered even if it delays for two months.”

There was a massive increase in contracting short-term loans after the expiry of the last IMF programme in September 2016. During its three-year programme, the IMF had kept Pakistan under check by placing two main conditions. One was related to the Net International Reserves that is calculated by excluding the impact of currency swap loans. The other was on reducing the short-term loans obtained under currency swap arrangements.

When the IMF programme ended, the forward and currency swap-related obligations of the SBP amounted to negative $765 million in September 2016. In two years, these obligations swelled by almost ten times.

I think, there is some kind of international law governing the historical religious places. In few years , India can offer to buy the corridor with big $ which paki can't refuse.

That may have been the intent from the very start. India closes the Kartarpur Corridor leading to discontent in Indian Punjab.
Kartarpur Gurudwara is not that important for Sikhs. Bigger important landmarks for Sikhs are...
That may very well be so, but only Kartarpur is 2 km from the border and within the ambit of visa-free access. Now that the community has been shown the possibility, anyone who comes in between will be portrayed as an enemy.

At this point in time, GoI should openly propose a land swap to take it up a notch. In the meantime, they should also work on opening the corridor to non-Sikh devotees of Guru Nanak.

Pakis are trying to shame the Indian government into a reciprocal gesture. They need to be reminded that thousands of Pakis are given access to Indian medical facilities every year. Humanitarian action will get a humanitarian response. Military action will get a military response. Political action will get a political response. Terrorist action will undo all positive responses.

Meanwhile on the Khalistan front, a thought. There is a new effort to eradicate mosquitoes by breeding mosquitoes with a known genetic defect, with the hope that when these special mosquitoes mate with the common ones, they will produce infructuous eggs. The best poison seems to be to unleash more of the same, with a quirk that kills the species.

Taking a cue from this, our intel agencies should covertly support voices asking for Khalistan with Lahore as its capital and including the areas of Nankana Sahib and other significant sites. That may put an end to this nonsense.

Opposition rejects Imran’s speech as ‘a pack of lies’
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Thursday criticised Prime Minister Imran Khan over his speech which he delivered at a special ceremony marking completion of the first 100 days of his government, terming it “ineffective” and “a pack of lies”.
failed economic policies, unprecedented price hike and its much-hyped austerity drive
Terming the 100-day performance of the government “unimpressive, ridiculous and full of lies and U-turns
Some three months before the July 25 general elections, PTI Chairman Imran Khan had unveiled his party’s ambitious ‘agenda’ outlining his commitments for starting work within the first 100 days of forming a government.
The opposition parties alleged that the government had totally failed to deliver on almost all the fronts, especially the economy and law and order situation.
the hopeless and useless government after failing to do anything on its own is now trying to take credit for the projects and initiatives of the PML-N government.”
Mr Khan was now taking the credit for the health cards schemes which had already been launched during the Nawaz Sharif government
“Instead of highlighting achievements of the first 100 days, the government has announced a plan for the next 100 days,”
a contest of telling lies among the ministers was going on at the Convention Centre, but at the end it was Imran Khan himself who won the medal
Fawad Chaudhry, who always stood first in such competitions, was nowhere to be seen
“why foreign exchange reserves have come down from $17 billion in May to $11bn? Why the dollar has attained highest gain in the country’s history? Why inflation is at the highest? Why there has been a 67 per cent reduction in the foreign direct investment?”"Why did Priyanka Chopra agree to marry Nick....No! wait! That's for another time."
“container politics”
“totally unimpressive”
“Despite ruling the country for 100 days, Imran Khan had nothing to tell the nation,” he said.
But...Im the Dim laid the foundation stone for Kartarpur Corridor. That should count for something?

1$ = 144 Paki rupees? The toilet paper is still very expensive.

It is clear that Pakistani's are bringing the Paki rupee rate below to meet the loan requirements as prescribed by IMF. That is easily done.
What about the more tricky/contentious IMF pre-requisite that Paki's disclose the details of the Chinese loans and its conditionalities? China will never allow the Pakis to disclose this information. So either the shitistanis have shown their true nature to the Chinese and given all the information or they have disclosed false information and Sialkoti documents to the IMF. It is clear they will cheat either of the two. It has to as there is no other way to get that loan.

Right now Indian Rupee to Dollar is 69.71
Pakistani rupee to dollar is 140.00

So it is beyond 1=2

In Bakistan, everything goes "up".

It is a matter of pride for Bakistan to be its rupee 2x stronger than the measly Indian Rupee. I think at one point it will be 72x stronger than an Indian rupee. That is one SDRE Indian rupee is equivalent to 72 baki rupees.

So, what do you do when your economy is tanking? Why, take crowd pleasing measures to divert their attention.

Finance Minister Asad Umar announces Rs2 decrease in petrol, diesel prices
Finance Minister Asad Umar announced a Rs2 decrease in the prices of petrol and diesel on Friday. Umar, while addressing a press conference in Islamabad, explained how fuel prices for consumers are determined.
If I compare, the sales tax on diesel in May was 27.5 per cent, while in November it was just 12pc ─ less than half. The 15pc GST on petrol was reduced to 4.5pc.
This shoot-from-the-hip minister simply reduced the sales taxes on gas and diesel and passed the savings on to the consumers little realizing that the sliding value of Toi.Rs will make the burden yet more on his reserves. Shazam! Instant gratification! And the crowd goes wild!! And, there's always time to print more useless money.

Only 7 Pakistani paise away from that as of today.
1 INR = 1.93 PKR

The thinking here is too narrow. It should easily be 1 INR = 10 PKR.
