it is too far inside to have been shot at close range...it crashed just south of srinagar.....unless it was a very long range attack and it was flying high which is kind of unlikely but who knows..... by evening the truth will be out.

There is no relation between the chopper which crashed accidentally in budgam with the airspace violation that occurred 200 kilometers away in Rajouri.
Statement of Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs, Marise Payne post India’s strike on the Balakot Mohammadden Terrorism Training camp. Not the usual equal=equal statement that one is accustomed to:
India-Pakistan tensions over terrorist attack
Media release
26 February 2019
The Australian government is concerned about relations between India and Pakistan following the horrific terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir on 14 February, which Australia has condemned.
India’s Foreign Secretary has stated that India has now conducted operations targeting terrorist groups based in Pakistan.
Pakistan must take urgent and meaningful action against terrorist groups in its territory, including Jaish-e-Mohammed which has claimed responsibility for the 14 February bombing, and Lashkar-e-Taiba.
Pakistan must do everything possible to implement its own proscription of Jaish-e-Mohammed. It can no longer allow extremist groups the legal and physical space to operate from its territory.
These steps would make a substantial contribution to easing tensions and resolving the underlying causes of conflict.
Australia urges both sides to exercise restraint, avoid any action which would endanger peace and security in the region and engage in dialogue to ensure that these issues are resolved peacefully.
The pakis are posting a mix of pics. The ac is a hawk trainer, the last pic with men in shalwars has a bigger nozzle visible, not from hawk. Probably from one of the JF-17 crashes
"urces said the British made Advanced Jet Trainer (AJT) hawk fighter plane (A-3492) had taken off along with two other jets from the Kalaikunda Air Force station in West Bengal at about 12.36 pm on a routine flying training sortie for in-flight training of the pilots. The crash was, however, reported at about 1.28 pm."

More The fog of war. Contrary to reports thus far, all IAF pilots accounted for say some sources to me. A Pak F-16 has been lost on their side. Was it a case of friendly fire ? What happened to those pilots?
Confirmed. Very sad. This crash was a Mi-17 V5 helicopter. There was likely a technical malfunction (expect Pak to claim they shot it down, but very unlikely). Four killed in this accident, reports @RahulSinghx.
It is unlikely to be shot down by PAF since the crash site is >45km from border
mig and mi 17 crashed in j&k on the same day is something fishy. I expect gov to frankly acknowledge if they are shot. It would give more reason to punish pak. But for now i will take word of my gov.
Sir closely check the first pic shared by the jahil Paki. You can clearly see SDREs and ladies wearing saree. It’s an old pic. The third one is an AN-32 I guess. The fourth pic I am not sure, but since this idiot is lying through his teeth with the other pics, I am sure the 4th pic is also fake.
Don’t fall for brain dead Pakis lies. Rely ONLY on Indian source.

There is no crash of any Mig aircraft, only mi-17 crash

Where is the Mig shot down, Pakis are showing local J&K pics of Mi 17 which crashed in Budgam near Srinagar, sad but a Helicopter not crashed, the Pakis are keeping quiet about F-16.

There was no mig crash, the mi-17 crashed and as soon as the word crash came our media said it was a Mig-21
Pakis came near LoC, fired a few missiles across the border which didn't hit anything. Claimed they too can do it, and returned flashing Victory signs. Maybe one F-16 tried to take on a SU-30MKI in act of bravado and got his ass whipped.
Nothing to see, pakis retaliated against bunch of trees (just like they said we hit some trees in forest). Equal-equal only.
