#WATCH Indian Army video of Pakistani base destroyed in Indian firing in Akhnoor sector(J&K), Army sources say upside down Pakistan flag a signal for SOS (extreme danger/distress)
I wonder what happened to the time tested paki tradition of hoisting white flags? Must be because the standard issue white flags are all brown now..

Meanwhile.. a savage cartoon summing the paki situation

Also the fact that for all the glitz of missiles and tanks rolling down in the PLA parade, Chini are the only self declared power not having fired a shot in anger :rotfl:

On the other side, fear of IAF ability to do the same in Tibet, what was done in Balakot!

china will offer to pakistan whatever weapons it wants to fill the gaps, since euro/usa stuff has cost and political limits.

in exchange for china running the show on CPEC.

we have to tone up our domestic production pipelines and plans for sure.

Gurus,

Have any PAF pilots from recent incident been awarded on Pakistan day?

I tried searching names of PAF pilots in news Hasan Siddiqui or Nauman Ali Khan who claimed to have fired at our Mig 21, but no award to any pilot is seen.

If Gafoora can be awarded for being merely a spokesperson, why are Pakis not questioning no awards to PAF pilots?

From F-16.Net (tom cooper post)

http://www.f-16.net/forum/viewtopic.php ... &start=315
Do you realize, that your establishment and the ISI are running so many terrorist campaigns in neighbouring countries, that at one point in the last week, Pakistan was simultaneously shelled from two, and threatened from a third side too? Something like this:

- Indian Army (using US-made M755 howitzers calibre 155mm) was shelling Pakistan in response to Pakistan Army's shelling;
- US-supported Afghan Army was shelling Pakistan in response to Pakistani support for the Taliban
- Iran was moving military reinforcements to its border to south-western Pakistan (Baluchistan)...
The ULH has been blooded and that too on the western border. I thought these were for the Eastern front specifically for the mountain division. Good news.

Tom cooper also states that the other 2 fronts (Afghan and Iran) are also hotting up. Pinch of salt I guess

Is there any corroboration on ATAGS being used against Pakis along the LoC? Some tweets seem to suggest ATAGS was one among several indigenous weapon systems which were battle tested in the recent weeks.

I can't seem to think why they would withhold information like that, the IA was quite candid to admit the Lapua Magnum, recently acquired, was being used at the LoC. There is an impressive variety at their disposal in Nagrota.

I am coming to the conclusion, Balakot operation is still a baby step.

What is the Paki objective in the Pulwama attack?

We know their strategy of attacking our military soft targets through Jihadis. This has been going on for some time now. On our side, we are limiting ourselves to attacking terrorist infrastructure (I know we are also destroying some trivial military posts near LC).

That does not seem like a good retaliatory strategy. We need to target their military soft targets through the cheapest means we have. The pain needs to be felt at the officer corps level. Without doing that, they will not be deterred to continue these attacks.

The other point that needs to be noted is that we are being very reactive. We need to be proactive. Between the first cross border action to this operation, there should have been a lot more visible proactive action. Unfortunately, that has not taken place and somehow there is a feeling that we are back to square one.

This is important:

https://www.republicworld.com/india-new ... rawalpindi
Sources have told twelve coffins were seen at the Pakistani Army brigade headquarters opposite Jammu and Kashmir's Sundarbani sector. The Pakistan army was seen using two MI 17 helicopters to transport the mortal remains of the slain soldiers from Sundarbani sector to Rawalpindi, intelligence sources further added.

The 12 must be See- Near Aphsars. The aam NLI gets burned in pits or floated down the nearest river as in Balakote. So I assume about 150 dead as a conservative minimum.
Helicopter ride.. coffins! Trip to HQ! :rotfl: Not for the aam cannon-fodder of PA. Remember Kargil? They were found with dried grass in their stomachs. While Mush and his See Near Aphsars swilled whisky in Pindi.

Singha, IR, and KaranM

It just occurred to me that South African PGM dropped by FizzleyA looked familiar.
Its based on German WWII remote bomb HS 293.

Wonder if some Nazis were sheltering in South Africa and dusted off the plans for the old bomb and repackaged it as a South African design.

Unofficial ISPR spokespersons are saying the firing and explosions were because of a gang war. If so, did Pakistan issue a NOTAM suspending all flight operations in Multan airport until March 25th due a local gang war? LOL. They are clearly hiding something.

Or it could be a wedding party gone wrong, stray bullets along an approach will inadvertently lead to a NOTAM.

If wedding parties going wrong leads to NOTAMs, it should be a frequent occurrence in Pakistan but that is not the case.

Hmmm Yet again there seems total internet black out except for the odd article for such a major item like an airport being closed and Notam issued, looks like Paki media is on a tight leash

Salam air flight OV258/OMS258 seems grounded at Multan.
