Sad news guys.
Our JF-17 was downed by our own surface-to-air missile system today in Multan.
LY-80 SAM(export variant of HQ-16) which we acquired recently from China proved to be fatal against ourselves.
Pilot lost his life.
May his soul rest in peace.

The mijjile might not know how to tell fliend flom fiend, but dont' they have any quasi-humanoids giving the LAUNCH order? What made them think there was a hostile a/c in the sky - and lock on to it before launching? Did they put Gen. Bandar-e-BananaKhata in charge of SAMs AND their radars? There is much more to this story, obviously. Even UBCN cannot come up with a consistent explanation.
The only explanation is that they used a Thundaar to simulate a Yindoos attack for SAM training, turning off the IFF or maybe broadcasting cricket commentary, Shoaib Chukhtar vs. Sehwag. The SAM was supposed to lock on, but not fire.
Gen. Bandar said:
Let's Test The Red Button and hit his middle shtump, Rafeeq! PHYRR!!!
BUT.. why close the airport? Did the Thundaar fall precisely on the airport? And why the gunshots?
This is pathetically thin. There MUST be a more colorful explanation involving Goats, Jarnails, Burkhas, F-16s and zam-zam cola.
Aha! Here it is. duh! Should have been obvious!
The killer in the story is that the Thundaar pilot must have got the Mijjile Warning in his cockpit. But then why didn't he follow PAF procedure like in the F-16-with-MiG-on-tail incident, and IMMEDIATELY eject? And therein lies the rest of the story.
He did. The plane, hit by mijjile, fell on airfield. Or maybe the plane fell elsewhere and the mijjile fragments fell on the main concourse, killing a couple of Jarnails.
The pilot landed somewhere on the perimeter. pakis shot him as he came down, for target practice. Also following procedure. Q.E.D.
Always come to UBCN. C for Consistent.

Babaji’s poetry, overflowing with Veer Ras. I am getting addicted.

I also feel bad about the impact of the poetry being lost because the targets can’t read...

Where are you guys seeing two fighters crashing in the video? I see one that is crashing, and one that is circling slightly above it, leaving a brief contrail.
I am confused. Didn't the whole episode happen in the night?

baloch freedom fighter tweets are way more trustworthy than isi paid 50centers.
do a test - say a huuuuge explosion took place in a sialkot ammo depot in a reply thread to someone in the media (they are heavily followed by isi info wing to flood with replies to any bad news)

30 mins from then, someone will post a video from a moving car, with ghazals playing, saying all is naarmal in sialkot and nothing happened to the dirty yindu lies. or someone will say he is having naashta in a dhaba right next to the ammo depot.

I am log'ed in to follow this. Just one question I have right now. Do I run to the bank? Or Modi is going to announce that India has taken out all of Bakistani nukes?

On serious speculation, both Hafiz Suar and Masood Azhar have been very very very quiet since last 2-3 weeks. No bravado. Nothing. The news media went on and on about "proof of balakot", and bakistani airspace closure. But nothing more than that.

Yeah, I think so too. But since he's announcing the test, hope he talks about the timing a bit. Otherwise will be spun as a political act timed for the elections..

P.S. Waiting for int'l mombatti crowd to start crowing about irresponsible arms race, space debris, armament of space, blah, blah. In 10,9, 8, 7, ......

Game changer. Cheen cannot rattle "nukular" toy at India any more. Put it this way, if Cheen steps in to save Bakistan, it has to be prepared to go all the way.

We control the escalation ladder with Cheen and maybe - just maybe - our RLG INS based missile are more Arjun-chaap (precise like Arjun) than Cheen and that will send shiver down the cheeni generals in their mao suit!!

11 raptors == i had this Akhandanand Tripathi aka Kaleen Bhaiya saying MC moment when he discovered "compounder" trying to kill him

https://www.news18.com/news/india/pakis ... _top_pos_3

New Delhi: A day after the Indian Air Force (IAF) carried out aerial strikes on a Jaish e-Mohammad (JeM) terrorist camp in Balakot, the Pakistani Air Force tried to carry out a similar attack against Indian military targets but failed to do so.

According to news agency ANI's report that quotes government sources, the Pakistani Air Force with its package of more than 20 planes, led by the Americn F-16s along with French Mirage-IIIs and Chinese JF-17, fired 11 H-4 1,000 kg bombs from a 50-km range inside their territory on February 27. The attack was made at military targets at three locations, but failed to hit any of them.

The H-4 bombs fired by the Mirage-IIIs of the Pakistan Air Force are classified as stand-off weapons which can be launched from a distance to aid in quicker evasive manoeuvres of jets that fire them. These bombs are similar to the Spice-2000 bombs used by the Indian Air Force in the Balakot strikes.

“These H-4s are not very accurate and missed their targets,” a government source was quoted as saying by ANI. The official added that in one of the attacks on an army camp in Jammu and Kashmir, the building was protected by a huge tree which managed to deflect the Pakistani bomb.

According to the report, senior officers were present inside the campus when the attacks took place in Poonch and adjoining areas.A Board of Officers has been formed to analyse the remains of the Pakistani bombs and other debris from the explosion.

The government sources speaking on condition of anonymity to ANI, said that Pakistani jets missed the target because of the quick response of Indian jets. In haste, the H-4 bombs were let off thereby missing their intended targets.

The most advanced Pakistani fighter F-16s were used for launching the air-to-air missiles against Indian fighter jets, while the Mirage IIIs were used for launching air-to-ground missiles in the attacks.

It was during this aggression that Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman shot down an F-16 plane using his R-73 air-to-air missile fired from his MiG-21 plane.

But then after Pakistan attempted to attack our senior officers we did nothing, we definitely have the rights to attack thier HQ's, no need to announce on radios but a few accurate 1000KG bombs should be given. We took great care to hit a non military target

Baba in his cryptic tweet said ASH-HR-SBRHHR and wait for tommorow.

BRF should start taking that handle seriously. There will be wrong tweets time and again to even out correct ones for balance, but we need to figure that which ones are to trust.
