Zabardast! Say what you will - there is not a single leader who is so eminently listeneable (if that is word)..chetak wrote:CRamS wrote:Guys, watch this terrific interview ModiJi gave to India Today and Aaaj tak journos

And this interview was no soft ball back and forth. Rahul Kanwal challenged ModiJi on many of ModiJi haters' pet peeves, failure of demo, GST, farmers, jobs etc. And ModiJi answered the questions as best as he could. His haters will not like his answers, but at least he took the questions. Then those 2 ladies, Anjana Kashyab, and I forget the other lady's name, both were respectful but forceful in their questioning. Burka Bibi must be seething with jealous that she didn't get to do the interview.
And I am a bit Hindi challenged, but ModiJi's sense of humor is cutting edge. The last bit is worth watching where he cuts a joke on what SM will say about the interview with the 3 journos. Even I burst into laughter .
Can't imagine Pappu or any of the thugbandhan 'leaders' even coming close to such mastery over various issues, much less sense of humor.
the press is beginning to realize that Modi uses these interviews to project his point of view rather than the presstitutes pushing their agendas.
this medium is one double edged sword that has lost it's charm for the commies and naxals, now that the tables are being turned regularly against them by Modi.

He has been saying that and its good to show confidence. Call it dhothi shivering on my part if you will, but get the sense that Congoons in collaboration with their 'friends' outside are so desperate to win this round, and I fear they have many slimy aces up their sleeve. I am pretty sure they are using Cambridge analytics type resources to exploit caste arithmetic, Muslim arithmetic, regional arithmetic etc. There does seem to be a ModiJi wave as far as I can tell, but when reduced to 543 individual elections locally, I am persuaded that the ModiJi wave can be overcome by thugbandhan. May not be in outright win, but in denying BJP the requisite #. What I fear most is a Karnataka like situation where ModiJI comes tantalizingly close, but then thugbandhan cobbles up a motley coalition and coronates Pappu as the PM. Then you will see those Sunil Aaron like pukes gloat in the NYT as to how democracy and Pappu won over "Hindu nationalism" and crap like that.IndraD wrote:Most reassuring exit poll so far is Namo's confidence itself : he is sure of returning with majority on own.

Are we children of some lesser gods, to paraphrase an ancient cliche??
secularism is a bad word and is used abusively to denigrate the Hindus, so much so, that even second rate human beings like obummer dare preach to us from jury rigged soapboxes in our own country??, forgetting even the very basic maryada of a state visit?? as well as the simple courtesies owed by the guest to his host.
the thugbandhan is exactly what the BIF are praying for but pappu is out. The next pliant candidate is already in the line up of eager and perspiring aspirants to the PM's gaddi.

That is because we Hindus ourselves are shy of the word "Hindu nationalist". We try to deflect and defend. Embrace the term. Haan! Main Hoon Nation Nationalist!
Go to public forum and proudly proclaim that you are a Hindu nationalist. I do that on FB these days and enjoy the Lovers and Peacefools outrage.
It's only a bad word if you let them make it.

I've been seeing of late that on Burka bibi's show as well as on UndY anti-ModiJi Jihad shows, there is one white guy with a French or East oripean accent. Forget his name. But I know he is associated with Uber pseudo secular sanctimonious idiot Pratap Mehta of Ashoka University. Anyone know who he is? Of course, reason he is popular with Lutyen mafia is surprise, surprise, his election writing is all about "BJP communalism" .

The numbers are suspiciously non random, and there are no error analyses.
213 seats/543 seats is indeed 39%, but it does not represent 39% of the electorate - this needs to be flagged

This is a cut-rate lifafa article if I ever saw one. Look at the sloppy writing (Only first name "Himanshu" for some so-called professor, rubbish one-word quotes, and any number of other markers). The credentials of the writer also seem like bargain-basement level, nothing remotely distinguished about them. Looks like she was given a handful of talking points (Modi's problems, EVM, blah blah) and was paid to make an article out of it.vimal wrote:The Congress Party set for landslide election victory

A genuine article would have named the polling organization, not hidden it behind "a UK-based organization."rgosain wrote:A prime example of how Indians suffer from learned helplessness and do not understand the validity and reliability of what they read in the English language press.
The person who wrote this claims to be from John Moores Liverpool. This is in fact the much poorer relation of prestigious The University of Liverpool where Har Gobind Khorana and Robert Robinson did their best work, and tends to do mainly vocational courses.
1) It is highly doubtful whether a 2.1 (BA) in the course they claim to have qualified in, would provide the necessary knowledge, skills and experience to undertake a field study of 20,500 respondents and provide valid hypothesis testing . In the uk polling research is carried out by specialist firms such as ipsos, mori, survation. There is no mention of the research firm, unless they are Oxbridge Analytika.
2) The number of 20, 500 is too small to provide significant feedback in a electorate of the size of India - unless of course there is an exit poll which would be illegal at this stage.
3)Some numbers tend to be fake or too precise, and this can be tested using Benford rules to determine whether a number tends to be less genuine - 20, 500 fails the smell test. Similarly the number of seats, 213 ?
Benford Tools
4) The swing necessary to generate the required outcome would have to occur across a far greater number of seats, and at a higher value.
There are a few Benford tools used by tax and forensic accountants, and great fun to play with

Re: 2019 General Elections News and Discussion
Very poor sloppy stats and maths. There is no raw % data on the 20,500 voters., therefore is now way of obtaining the seat breakdown across the parties. Seems they confused the sample of voters to the number of seats.vijayk wrote:Good thing is hopefully this will keep BJP voters/karyakartas on their feet. Bengalis should keep coming in droves

Act Four.
April Twenny Nyne.
Sevenny One Seats.
Thingz to watch:
- With western MH and Mumbai (strong NDA territory) finishing up, the South will have voted in full. Will be good to have a roundup.
- OR will be done too. Will be good to do a roundup of what may be a remarkable result in the making. Should Naveen Babu start packing up his ghar-"baar"..i.e., home and bar ?
- south RJ, east MP, west JH: Will the saffron territories continue to deliver seats?
- UP: with the battle moving east into parts of Avadh and through Bundelkhand leaving behind the Yadava heartlands, will the saffron strength continue, and will MGB continue to leak votes to the BJP ?
- WB: with the battle moving south, will the NaMo tsunami continue ? Will Didi make what might be her "last stand" with more violence and chicanery ?
My estimate is that BJP has won at about 140 seats - and possibly up to 150 - in Phases 1-3. If all goes well, it should be closing in on 200 in Phase 4.

No they didn't. I posted the link already. The opinion polls got the results reasonably correct in AP, with NDA getting the lion's share of the seats.ShyamSP wrote:
National media predicted wrong in 2014 also. YSRC aka YCP was in same gung ho as they are now till final number is announced in 2014.
BTW, I am talking about the LS elections, not the VS elections.
Not sure what "success" you are referring to. EVMs are being used in every election and there is no move to stop their use. Either they are used or they are not. Weird proposals of 50% VVPAT will not get much traction in SC if the judges have even an iota of common sense. On EVM thing he has been fighting since 2009 including along with BJP till 2014, it is not new and he had some success in SC.
There are only 25 LS seats total in AP that I am talking about. There has been plenty of polling in 2014 and 2019 on that topic. I don't know much about the VS election and I am not talking about that at all.YCP has to gain 20-30 seats to get majority and TDP has to lose 20-30 seats to lose majority, this much shift I feel is difficult as they is no big negative factors impacting either side.
Re: 2019 General Elections News and Discussion
Vidhana Sabha is also critical for that it will decide how far EJs will take control of AP this time. Both TDP and YCP are now EJ and anti-Hindu parties. The longer they are in power there the harder it will get for Indics to pull AP back to the Indic side.
Re: 2019 General Elections News and Discussion
The central govt can help in a big way by completely stopping foreign funds directed towards EJ activities. Their activities are similar to marketing campaign, dry up the funds, the campaign suffers.Yagnasri wrote:Vidhana Sabha is also critical for that it will decide how far EJs will take control of AP this time. TDP hardly has EJ votebank to even to consider it iota of anti-Hindu party. Most EJ converts are YCP votebank. There may be some relic EJ Kammas in Guntur areas support TDP but all support is from Hindus - capitalists and ex-commies and OBCs and other common people. Only this time decent number of Muslims also moved to TDP and to attract them he promised one of Dy. CM posts to Muslims. That doesn't make him Jihadi sympathizer either.
YCP on the other hand overt in EJ. But when it comes to politics they have to play caste politics to win numbers so EJism gets underplayed. Hindu Reddies of old INC are stuck with him due to lack of alternative. TRS by getting Telangana killed Reddy power and they are desperately looking to
get it back.
Again anti-BJP doesn't mean anti-Hindu. It is simply BJP style doesn't register in AP people mind to be in the power play. Telugu land last 800 years at least has always been dominated by power-play among the so-called Kapus or Nayakas (who split into Reddy, Kapu, Kamma, and Velama) and some times Raju castes, whether they are ruling or ruled by others.
Central govt should stop foreign funding for EJ activities and curtail number of converts as it is demographics issue. But such funding hardly matters to AP politics.Karthik S wrote:The central govt can help in a big way by completely stopping foreign funds directed towards EJ activities. Ground report from Mumbai:
BJP - SS alliance will sweep all the seats for sure in Mumbai. The mood on the ground is that not even peacefools or Lovefools dare mention congoons. Everyone is voting for Modi Ji. Who cares if it is Priya dutt or Milind Deora or Urmila who will be brushed aside. Sadly there weren't people on the street to view Urmila's roadshow. She has been declared a bonafide convert from being a Marathi Mulagi and people resent that especially the women.
Meanwhile word on the street is to defeat Sanjay Nirupam by a bigger margin than last time (about 4 Lakhs was the margin in 2014). He is crude, uncouth and goonda like character.
One should mingle in the crowd and see how much people love Modi Ji. It is as if they were waiting for someone like him to descent from heavens. The last PM who was genuinely loved by almost everyone was Chacha Nehru (surprise surprise).
Personal observation: NCP will survive as long as Pawar kaka is hale and in senses.
After that we will see battle between various factions of the party and then poaching by BJP and SS. Most of the voters are tired of these family run business called political parties.

Long time ago, elections were done by dropping simple ballot sheets into separate boxes displaying symbols of the candidates. One tactic parties used to force public opinion is to spread rumour that "Box with symbol X is already full and they had to bring in new box".

1. the court fixers (***shan, ****al, ***singh etc) had conspired to get Modi ji in jail via an FIR through SC on rafale deal, expecting that SC wud ask for explanation from govt on rafale deal, and it's being a govt to govt deal, the govt would hesitate or trip..
2. this was to be in the backdrop of the assembly elections in the 3 states..where if BJP were to win, then this rafale questioning wud be skipped..but if BJP lost, full readiness was there to launch an FIR against Modi
3. but govt stumped them n the SC by providing almost all details in a sealed envelope! now even the CJI whom the fixers were thinking as pliable to them, couldn't do anything n had to give clean chit to the govt
3. following which the fixers conspired again using n. ram n his forgery....again this was foiled
4. seeing all this, fixers decided to teach the CJI a lesson n in the classic commie manner, a 'vishkanya' was used to level sexual harassment allegations against the CJI....previously same way a lesson was thought to be taught to fmr CJI dipak misra.
5. the same fixers were involved in the judge loya case too, to launch FIR against amit shah.
all this was revealed to the speaker by a journo long back, n reconfirmed by an SC advocate later.

Covering elections across India, we can vouch that Bengal has by far the worst possible roads, especially in interiors.
Even neighbouring Odisha has excellent road networks..

What can be done? Can we use this harassment plot to destroy these criminal blackmailers?

Re: 2019 General Elections News and Discussion
Perhaps add to the thread started on Pro-Terrorist Journalists and add Foreign Interference in Indian Elections. Any media that have significant foreign ownership and publish these anti-India lies and "projections" are fair game.
Since the govt. is elected by the people of India, anti-GOI is basically anti-India unless proven otherwise. Effect is anti-India.
If such a record were made it becomes archival on the 'Net. At least after the election, their projections can be compared to reality and their motives further analyzed.
Trouble is that few people take the trouble to remind these papparazzi in public of their past. For example note that South Asia Expert Stephen Cohen has been silent for quite a while now. I happen to know that someone stood up at one of his great speeches at a US university, surrounded by his (desi-origin brown-nosing) adorers, and "de-briefed" him in no uncertain terms, reminding him that he was the one who used to brag about having convinced GOTUS to support genocidal dictator Musharraf.
So, I think BRF can take due credit for that small win. Likewise, Seema Sirohi has been silent (so far). Angana Chatterji, ditto.
