Lok Sabha Elections 2019: The Faridabad election office said the polling agent was trying to influence "at least 3 lady voters" and that senior election officials visited the booth. The man was arrested on Sunday evening.

I have to say people are *fast*, those working for the right side and can counter such motivated propaganda asap.

Even as the INC paid machine kicked into gear to spread this radar thing far and wide, a certain unmentionable individual (no relation to moi, of course) had in disgust posted the details mentioned previously in some popular social media pages because he got cheesed off at the whining etc etc. Then of course, every day things took over and he forgot about it. Later, its gratifying to see the same text and sources have now gone viral and are being used effectively on multiple pages, sites and even twitter etc. I have to say, full points to the speed of that response to use any useful data and spread it effectively! :-o

there should be a list of people killed by poll violence in WB, TN, Chattitsgarh etc.

Ask the left front and Congress to clarify if they stand with Maoists or against them. Does the TMC support the killing and maiming of voters?

so what's wrong with mamta begum being the deputy PM in Modi's govt.

hasn't she had already identified a new hairdo that is just right for the next parliament.
If that were to happen, it would be under new BJP dispensation without the duo from Gujarat and some more parties would queue up to support NDA. Giriraj Singh tries to match mijjile-stepping
New Delhi:
The Election Commission on Sunday "censured" Union minister and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Giriraj Singh for his controversial remarks against the Muslim community at an election rally in Bihar. The commission also condemned his statement and asked him to be careful with what he says during the enforcement of the model code period. The EC said Mr Singh has violated provisions of the model code and directions of the Supreme Court which had said that religion cannot be used while making statements during campaigning. The Begusarai district administration had on April 25 charged Mr Singh for violating the poll code and the Representation of the People Act by making controversial remarks against Muslims at a rally on April 24, where BJP president Amit Shah was also present.
Addressing the rally in Begusarai, Mr Singh had said in Hindi, "Those who cannot say Vande Mataram or cannot respect the motherland, the nation will never forgive them. My ancestors died at the Simaria Ghat and did not need a grave but you need three handspans of space."
In the 2014 Lok Sabha election, he was barred from campaigning in Bihar and Jharkhand over communal remarks.
The veteran BJP leader is locked in a three-cornered contest with CPI candidate Kanhaiya Kumar and Rashtriya Janata Dal's Tanveer Hasan in the Begusarai Lok Sabha constituency, where voting took place on April 29 in the fourth phase.
But as the Judge said to Hamilton Burger: "The vice of a leading question is in its asking." He got his point in on multiple levels.

Abour Lt. Gen Panag's statement I remember how some BRFites vouched for his integrity in the Burkha Dhagaas few years back. Turned out he's a snake afterall. Saying Inquilab on coup against Modi is bad but liking & retweeting ISPR Gafoors tweet about destroying Indian posts is downright treason.

About Twitter : It is majority owned by ME funds. So one can expect anti-RW stand be it in USofA or India. One should remember Jack holding "Brahminical Patriarchy" poster with burkha beebi & assorted femeinist jamaat during visit to India.

Karan M,

Excellent points on ModiJi’s cloud cover take, but couple of points:

1. Wonder why all the BJP big wigs took out MoiJi’s statements after tweeting them? Libtards have latched on to this.

2. Just when I thought BJP/ModiJi are striking back at those abusing them, Vivek Reddy stands out as an aberration. Poor chap, he just doesn’t have it in him however sincere he is to defend ModiJi, to effectively argue his case. Its pathetic to see the deck is stacked against him with other idiots having sumptuous laughs at his rambling. All he had to say was that there is indeed a science as to why cloud cover can influence the operations. And in any case, timing and secrecy is critical and hence ModiJi took the call and associated risk and should be applauded for that

3. What surprises me are the number of Shookla, Ramdoss, Panang type ex army officers who hate ModiJi’s guts. I hope this is not the case with current on duty generals and soldiers. Because in ModiJi, they have a true ally and friend

Karanji/ ramana: Time 4 the MilForum Experts to do something for the Nation: V need a short, quick textbook explanation on S/A and A/A radar, as well as instrument navigation in mountainous terrain with scattering by rain and clouds. Also the fact that the interceptors have to be on instrument flight, not visual rules, as they negotiate the valleys. IIRC, PAF interceptor bases (Skardu for example) are in deep valleys. UBCN does not have the facts, sorry. Maybe ppl need explaining that a 20% attenuation in forward path means a 40% attenuation in return huge degradation in SNR and the difference between seeing the mountain range and kissing Brinjej Ayesha on the slope.

Call it "Modiji's Point" if not a smarter name. I don't think one has to maintain that NM came up with the explanation all by himself: surely he was relaying what he heard some advisor saying, prefacing it with humility because he might have been oversimplifying/distorting slightly. Ppl with IQ> RaGa's would see that.

The BJP and RSS have to be absolute morons to do collective suicide to pander to snakes and corrupt two bit fellows like CBN and KCR. I know a lot of Andhra caste bigots from CBN clan who have become cheerleaders for Gadhakari etc., in the belief that they will be amenable for loot. This has to be nipped in the bud.

:rotfl: Without the "duo from Gujarat" Cong/MGB would easily get more than 300 seats and form the government themselves. Regional parties which are "ok with Hindutva politics" would be left holding the bag, if such parties actually exist.

Rupa Ganguly is already in RS; the state BJP leaders kicked her upstairs and pushed Doodh Kumar Mandal under the bus in an effort to keep the TMC heat low on state BJP.

Rupa Ganguly and Dilip Ghosh (WB BJP Prez) are not in good terms. That's why Rupa was sent to RS, Locket Chatterjee was elevated to Mahila BJP Prez. The feud between Rupa and Dilip was a matter of class struggle also within the state BJP. Rupa accepted an invitation from Bangladesh, and after that took a bit equal-equal line, and Dilip blew up. .....

Lok Sabha Election Result 2019 Predictions by Satta Bazar: BJP May Win Over 240 Seats, Congress 80, Say Matka Players in MP, Rajasthan And Gujarat
New Delhi, May 13: With just one phase of polling left, satta bazar (betting market) is abuzz with predictions about the result of Lok Sabha elections 2019. Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) remains favourite of those who play Matka game. According to satta bazars (betting markets) in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat, the BJP is likely to win over 240 seats, whereas the Congress may halt at just 80.

Bookies in Madhya Pradesh’s Neemuch satta bazaar are of the view that the BJP has strong chances of winning 247-250 seats. The Congress may bag 77-79, they say. According to Rajasthan's famous Phalodi satta bazaar, the BJP can alone win 240-245 seats, while the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is likely to touch 320-325, reported News18. Bookies also say Congress won't be able to repeat its Rajasthan Assembly polls performance. Lok Sabha Elections Results 2019 Predictions by Satta Bazar: BJP to Win 240 Seats Despite Major Loss in Uttar Pradesh.

The Phalodi satta bazar predicts 21-22 seats for the BJP and 3-4 for the Congress in Rajasthan. The betting market in Gujarat's Surat forecast 246-248 seats in favour of BJP. Bookies say the Congress would be at a distant second with 78-80 seats. We at LatestLY doesn't support betting and these numbers are based on speculations in the betting market. Earlier, satta bazar in Hapur predicted that PM Narendra Modi is likely to be in a weaker position compared to 2014.

Hapur Satta Bazar has predicted a major loss for the BJP in Uttar Pradesh where it had bagged 71 of the 80 Lok Sabha seats in the previous Lok Sabha polls. Predicting 240 seats for the BJP, bookies have said that the saffron party would retain power with the help of its alliance partners. Bookies in Madhya Pradesh have projected 246-249 seats for the BJP, adding that the Congress party may bag 76-78.

Regarding Panag's comments...
-
I remember hearing this term ---> 'Chandigarh Lobby' during OROP protests... This term I guess was also coined by a veteran... (According to him, this Lobby is the main group that is against Govt.'s proposed OROP while other veterans are largely OK with it...)
If this term is any indication, there is some strong group of Veterans who support Congress and working against BJP in Punjab area... I guess Panag is also from this group...
-
The Conspiracy Theorist within me believes that few of this group may have been cultivated by BI forces...

Congress going ultra left overtly is due to twofold reasons:

1. rahul & priyanka both have only seen examples of hatred and contempt for Indic people culture from both maternal and paternal sides.

2. Population demographics would change very fast in 10 years. I had a relative working in a news channel and those were beginning days of Modi victory when we met. I asked him why channels are showing continuously RADHEY MA ! RADHEY MA CONTINUOUSLY ON ALL THE CHANNELS WHETHER ENGLISH TIMESNOW or HINDI CHANNELS, he said he REAL POWERS controlling these media orgs want to bombard people's consciousness with "LOOK HOW ROTTEN AND CORRUPT YHIS INSTITUTION OF GURU IS" Just like in movie KICK of salman they've a guru standing by side of villain in whole movie , he doesn't say anything just accompanies, what this does is that from childhood kids will associate Institution of Guru a pillar of Indic civilization as negative, villainish.

So along with exploding population
of minorities , we will have kejri, marlena and yogendra yadavs who thoroughly hate Hindus. This changed demographics will find Congress & aap ready to ride the wave.

Rahul failing only preparing BLACK BACKGROUND for Priyanka's children to come out SNOWHITE impressive.

‘Tell us, O apostle of non-violence, screamed the inhabitants of one, ‘how are we to exist? You

‘If all the Punjabis were to die to the last man without killing,’ Gandhi replied, ‘the Punjab would become immortal.’
As he had counselled the Ethiopians, the Jews, the Czechs and the British, so he now counselled his enraged Hindu
countrymen: ‘Offer yourselves as non-violent, willing sacrifices.’

https://archive.org/stream/FreedomAtMid ... t_djvu.txt
This is a made-up dialog.

In a subsequent letter to Sumangal Prakash, he favoured suicide for raped women: Personally I believe that if a woman has courage, [she] would be ready to die to save her honour. In discussing this with women, I would, therefore, certainly advise them to kill themselves in such circumstances and explain to them that it was easy to take one's life if one wished to do so. (CWMG vol. 56 : 67)
CWMG amounts to around 100 volumes. Volume 56 contains only material from 1932; this is not from the time of Partition.

Here is the letter:
June 29, 1932
DEAR SUMANGAL,
Your letter to hand. Your argument with regard to rape seems convincing. In circumstances similar to those in which you believe it right for a woman to take her life, it may be right for a trustee to take his life when somebody tries to rob the property under his care. But the woman and the trustee themselves should think that it is their dharma to do so. You or I have no right to accuse a woman of failing in her dharma if she does not kill herself to prevent herself from being raped. If, unlike her, the trustee dies while defending the property under his care, we cannot assume, either, that he has done the right thing. We can judge in either case only if we know the mental condition of the person concerned at the time. Though I say this from the point of view of justice, personally I believe that a woman, if she has courage, would be ready to die to save her honour. In discussing this matter with women, I would, therefore, certainly advise them to kill themselves in such circumstances and explain to them that it was easy to take one’s life if one wished to do so. I would do this because many women believe that, if there is no man present to protect them or if they have not learnt to use a dagger or a gun, they have no choice but to submit to the evil-doer. I would certainly tell a woman who believes so, that she need not depend upon anybody’s weapons to protect her and that her own virtue will protect her. Even if that does not happen, instead of using a dagger or any other weapon she can kill herself. She need not consider herself weak or helpless.

And now concerning hypothetical questions. I had understood your purpose in asking the questions to be exactly what you explain it to be, but I would describe such questions as hypothetical. In some cases questions of this nature may be asked, but it would be better not to ask any. In any case, you should not make it a habit of asking such questions. Anybody who does that commits the same error which a student of geometry who asks his professor to solve riders does. Such a student will never learn geometry well. That will also be the fate of a person who seeks the solutions of problems arising out of a principle from other people. Apart from this, however, there is a great flaw in the very nature of questions raised on the basis of ethical principles, namely, we never come across in life an instance exactly similar to the one we had imagined. If there is ever so slight a difference between the hypothetical case and the actual one, the answers in the two cases are likely to be entirely different. That is why I have cautioned you that, if you are not confronted with a problem relating to an actual instance which you have come across, you should not make it a habit to seek from me solutions of hypothetical problems in order to be prepared for such eventualities. If you do that, my answers to hypothetical questions will, instead of helping you in an emergency, prevent you from finding the right solution. The mind of such a person becomes incapable of original thinking. The better thing would be to grasp the basic principle thoroughly and to assimilate it, and not to mind if, in applying it in solving your problems or those of other members in your family, you make mistakes. You will learn from such mistakes, But you should not approach others, even those who understand the principle better than you do, to seek solutions of hypothetical problems in order to prepare yourself to meet them when they arise. Such a procedure destroys one’s self-confidence. The author of the Gita seems to have written verse 10 of Chapter X because he knew this from experience. Doesn’t the Lord tell us in that verse that “to these, ever in tune with Me, worshipping Me with affectionate devotion. I give the power of selfless action, whereby they come to Me.” If you substitute “Truth” for “God” in this sentence, the meaning will be perfectly clear. I hope you now understand what I meant to say. I do not mind your hypothetical questions, but I fear that I may do you harm by encouraging you to put such questions. I am sure at any rate that I would not be helping you. Take, for instance, your question regarding rape. Though I may give a definite reply now to your question regarding a hypothetical instance, I would give quite a different reply if an instance like that actually occurred, and support it with convincing reasons. It is also very possible that I would be able to point out a difference between the hypothetical case and the actual incident . I write all this from experience about coworkers. I will stop here now.
I am glad to learn that your health has improved.

In general, what Gandhi said about non-violence is greatly misquoted. Some of it is British propaganda, e.g., Gandhi on Hitler:

On the use of armed force in J&K:
http://thepartitionofindia.blogspot.com ... armed.html
As a soldier and one about to be engaged in battle in a matter of hours, I was at a loss to know what to say, and eventually asked him: "What do I do in Kashmir?"

Mahatma Gandhi smiled and said: "You're going in to protect innocent people, and to save them from suffering and their property from destruction. To achieve that you must naturally make full use of every means at your disposal."

Gandhi was a crypto christian who

(a) had a martyr fetish complex to be burned at the stake to get more converts to his cause - typical of early christian saints targeted by the romans
(b) a childish desire to please the british by playing by their rules and not disrupting things too much, in turn they did not disturb him too much vs their ruthless treatment of revolutionaries like subhash bose and savarkar and bhagat singh and chadrasekhar azad.

you know i went to banditji's teen murti house in delhi twice, now a museum to his life and a bunch of old photos of the freedom movement.

I consider it an insult that paintings of bhagat singh, sukhdev, rajguru are hung in that house.

In the 6th July, 1926, edition of the Navajivan, Gandhi wrote that He would kiss the feet of the (Muslim) violator of the modesty of a sister (Mahatma Gandhi, D Keer, Popular Prakashan, p-473).
Problem with this is Navajivan was published 4th, 11th, 18th July etc., 1926. It is very difficult to prove that somebody did or did not say or write something, unless the citation is correct. In any case, "violator" appears only once in CWMG, in Young India, 30-3-1921, "For violence flourishes on response, either by submission to the will of the violator, or by counter-violence. "

This is a made-up dialog.
Sorry to say but it is not a made-up dialogue . I directly quoted the reference from the book by Larry Collins & Dominique Lapierre.
That question and answer is part of Duratma's published speeches and he made that particular speech in April 1947 counselling Hindus & Sikhs to rollover and die when faced with the bloodthirsty Islamics killing kaffir men while raping and enslaving kaffir women.

We predict the BJP’s vote share fall will be sharper here than in Western UP. And at the end of phase 6, we believe the Gathbandhan will win 53 seats (± 5). The BJP will win 22 (± 3) and the Congress 5 (± 2).

Phase 6 Analysis up on @Anthroai : Zero — that’s the number of seats we believe the BJP has won in Uttar Pradesh in Phase 6.
The MGB is winning because they have stitched together a winning combination.

Did you look at their website and dashboard.

can you find their data mistakes. My take is none of the data is ground data. Twitter and public SM trends (selective patterns) and past data.

"A few months before the partition, when Hindu and Sikh refugees started to come from West Punjab in droves and crowding the refugee camps of Delhi, one day Gandhi visited a refugee camp and said, “Hindus should never be angry against the Muslims even if the latter might make up their minds to undo their (Hindus’) existence. If they put all of us to the sword, we should court death bravely. … We are destined to be born and die, then why need we feel gloomy over it?” (speech delivered on April 6, 1947).

While looking up April 6, 1947, I did come across this:

“Bapuji is now going to drive us out of India in our old age,” Khwaja Abdul Majid remarked to a member of Gandhiji’s party, affecting a laugh. “When India is divided, I shall come to take asylum with you. You won’t let the Hindus murder me,” he added playfully. Gandhiji, overhearing the remark, interjected:

If a fanatic should kill you, I shall dance with joy! My misfortune is that I have not many like you who would die bravely and without anger. If I had even half a dozen [men] like you, the flames that threaten to devour us would be put out and peace would reign in India in no time.

This is what Gandhi did say in his speech of April 6, 1947:

I only wish to tell you that you should not give up your goodness. If all the Muslims say that they wish to sever all connection with the Hindus and wish to live separately, should we out of anger start killing them? If we do that we shall be engulfed in such a holocaust that we shall all be reduced to ashes and none will survive Indiscriminate looting and arson will only spell disaster for the whole country. Regular warfare also, I must say, causes only destruction and nothing is gained thereby.
What has been said in the Mahabharata is of universal application. It does not apply to Hindus alone. It depicts the story of the Pandavas and the Kauravas. Though they were blood-brothers the Pandavas worshipped Rama, that is, goodness, and the Kauravas followed Ravana, that is, evil. Renouncing ahimsa they took to violence and fought among themselves with the result that not only were the Kauravas killed, but the Pandavas also were losers in spite of their victory. Very few among them survived to see the end of the war and those who did found their lives so unbearable that they had to retire to the Himalayas. This is exactly what is happening in our country today.
....
Khwaja Abdul Majid, who is a trustee of the Aligarh University, came to see me today.1 He has a lot of landed property but at heart he is a fakir. He used to be my host whenever I went to Aligarh. Swami Satyadev Parivrajak, who had been on a pilgrimage to the Himalayas, used to accompany me. He was a very active worker but now God has taken him away. He told me he would accompany me but he would not join me if I dined with a Muslim. On hearing this Khwaja Saheb said, “If that is what his religion enjoins, I shall make separate arrangements for him.” Though the Swami was accompanying me Khwaja Saheb did not mind when the Swami did not dine with him. Would that those good old days were here again when there used to be heart-unity among Hindus and Muslims. Khwaja Saheb continues to be the president of the nationalist Muslims. Other nationalist Muslims who had graduated from the Aligarh University in those days are today ideal students of the Jamia Millia and are excellent workers. They are like on oasis in the Sahara. Even if somebody killed Khwaja Saheb he would not wish him ill. Such people may be few but we must retain our innate qualities. When faced with bad characters we should not stoop to their level. But we committed this mistake in Bihar. Nationalist Muslims had been killed by Hindus there and Hindus friends of Islam had been done to death by Muslims.

We should dispassionately think where we are drifting. Hindus should not harbour anger in their hearts against Muslims even if the latter wanted to destroy them. Even if the Muslims want to kill us all we should face death bravely. If they established their rule after killing Hindus we would be ushering in a new world by sacrificing our lives. None should fear death. Birth and death are inevitable for every human being. Why should we then rejoice or grieve? If we die with a smile we shall enter into a new life, we shall be ushering in a new India. The Concluding verses1 of the second chapter of the Gita describe how a godfearing man should live. I would exhort you to read and understand those verses and ponder over their meaning. You will then realize what our ideal is and how far short of it we are today. Our independence is at our threshold and it is our duty to ask ourselves whether we are fit to have it and sustain it. This week, while I am here, I propose to administer you the dose which would make you worthy of freedom. If we keep on quarrelling amongst ourselves we shall lose our freedom even after attaining it.
