Dhruv Tyagi Murder: How ‘Outsiders’ Are Making Locals Feel Vulnerable In Moti Nagar
This story had been covered well. However, we seem to be missing many such reports that we should be collecting and keeping a list of. Especially from regional newspapers. I'm sure that in many towns where buffer zones have collapsed people may have even stopped writing such events. The one of the biggest thing that Modi could have done and can still do is to have a collection efforts on all atrocities done and documented. The worst one that doesn't get reported is rape atrocities committed by the book followers. They know that they pretty much get away with most choosing to not file any report due to incompetent judiciary and social stigma. All atrocities done on Hindus should be documented and openly be discussed.

“Only thing missing were gas chambers”

the mizo insurgents took up arms and used them first against the republic. Did the Jews do that in Germany.

David koresh did the same in the US and his compound in Texas was razed to the ground by attack helicopters.

If you draw a weapon even a cell phone on an FBI agent you will be shot.

There’s no talk of “gas chambers”.

Something is wrong with desi journalists.
They are doing a disservice.

Yes there was a humanitarian crisis but cut the childish hyperbole.

While the sentiment is a good one, knowledgeable posters here should be aware that law and order is a state subject in the federal division of powers. One of the biggest mistakes people make is to elevate Modi to messianic levels and then proceed to demonize him for not correspondingly 'doing something' . This is a self destructive behavior, in normal terms called building a strawman.

While it's tempting to state "{insert a problem}, Modi can fix it". There's a lot more nuance to go through. For example, certain categories of crimes can be categorized as a federal offense, but the categorization has to be clear cut so it cannot easily be politicized.

Watching AAJ Tak channel. Its showing TMC workers protesting using Vidyasagar's Tshirts. Clearly Momata had an agenda to make it "us vs them" and had all the necessary goodies ready for that. They broke that statue. She is stoking regionalism to its fullest.

No, she’s banking on the wishful hope that Bengalis are that dumb as to fall for such a trick . It needs to be widely disseminated on social media that ‘mamta hopes you believe BJP came here for your vote by breaking statues of Bengali icons. She says please remember to turn off your brains on May 19’

Jihadidi is stoking Bengal nationalism while the reality is Hindu nationalism.
BTW there is a chorus of deluded fools in Twitter backing her due to their own perceived interests.

There are ample tweets now showing that Jihadidi goons broke the statue and Art 324 as been invoked seeking an investigation into the matters leading to that atrocity.
And how the convoy was attacked.
The fact that the Home Secy was relieved shows his career is over.
Might lose his pension also if the inquiry leads to his role.

Singha, Kati et al, I saw an article on Twitter that Atlee expected Bengal to break away from Union of India and was surprised it didn't happen. The reasons could be Shyam Prasad Mukherjee and other nationalists seeking West Bengal to join Union of India.

I see that with Hillary Clinton visit to Bengal that old plan for united Banga is being worked on covertly by Jihadidi by settling BD refugees and stoking Bengal nationalism.

During the 1950s, US was working on Punjab and TN separatism which did not work.
They called this centrifugal strategy.
Punjab subha and Annadurai suspending language stir after 1962 ended this plan.

So new faultlines are being stoked.

Being on BRF one needs to be wary and open to see the stones from the bricks.

My objective wasn't on that direction. And I personally don't hold Modi on missing out any such thing with lot of Gujarat connections. However, I just don't believe that anyone else would be able to do it so hopes are with Modi. Many Modi supporters in buffer zone don't see him as prime minister and central office representation but only hope for survival. If Indian govt provides platform, then people on ground can collect information. My objective was towards collection of information rather than fixing anything. Similar to cataloging all the Hindu temples and places being destroyed. When we loose that information, it's hard to make a case about Hindu genocides occurring in slow time. For example, I'm sure that my local town paper that used to have few reports per week about acid throwing, abductions, etc. would probably never make it to statistics as they never archived papers.

Where does Hindu go to get statistics on slow genocides?

The expectations of India's unraveling continued well into the 1960s. You may be familiar with this, ramana, but for others (apologies for quoting Ram Guha):
story on 1967 GE
In early 1967, The Times of London ran a series of articles on `India's Disintegrating Democracy'. In contrast to this gloominess was a more contemporary estimate, this time provided by The Guardian ... . A comparison.

IN the first weeks of 1967, the Times of London carried a series of articles on "India's Disintegrating Democracy". Written by their Delhi correspondent, Neville Maxwell, these assessed the upcoming General Elections, the fourth held since Independence, and the first since Jawaharlal Nehru's death.

The articles were deeply pessimistic about the prospect for democracy in India. As Maxwell wrote, "famine is threatening, the administration is strained and universally believed to be corrupt, the government and the governing party have lost public confidence and belief in themselves as well". These various crises had created an "emotional readiness for the rejection of Parliamentary democracy". The "politically sophisticated Indians" whom Maxwell spoke to expressed "a deep sense of defeat, an alarmed awareness that the future is not only dark but profoundly uncertain".

`Crisis is upon India'

Maxwell's own view was that "the crisis is upon India — he could spy `the already fraying fabric of the nation itself", with the states "already beginning to act like sub-nations". His conclusion was unequivocal: that while Indians would soon vote in "the fourth — and surely last — general election", "the great experiment of developing India within a democratic framework has failed".

The imminent collapse of democracy in India, thought Maxwell, would provoke a frantic search for "an alternative antidote for the society's troubles". Three options presented themselves. The first was represented by the Jan Sangh (forerunner of today's Bharatiya Janata Party). This would play the Hindu card but fail, since it was as corrupt and faction-ridden as the other parties, and because the South would reject its over-zealous promotion of the Hindi language. The second possibility was an army coup, but this too "seems out of the question in India" because of the complex federal system. To succeed, there would have to be 17 simultaneous coups in the States, as well as one in the centre.

While a straightforward coup was unlikely, Maxwell thought that the army would nonetheless come to rule India through indirect means. As he predicted, "in India, as present trends continue, within the ever-closing vice of food and population, maintenance of an ordered structure of society is going to slip out of reach of an ordered structure of civil government and the army will be the only alternative source of authority and order. That it will be drawn into a civil role seems inevitable, the only doubt is how?"

Maxwell answered his query by suggesting that "a mounting tide of public disorder, fed perhaps by pockets of famine", would lead to calls for a strengthening of the office of the President. The Rashtrapathi would be asked to literally act as the Father of the Nation, "to assert a stabilizing authority over the centre and the country". Backing him would be the army, which would come to exercise "more and more civil authority". In this scenario, the President would become "either the actual source of political authority, or a figure-head for a group composed possibly of army officers and a few politicians ... ".
It is very pleasing to note that 50 years since then, the nation whose democratic institutions are barely able to represent its people's aspirations is not India, but the UK.

^^^ Neville Maxwell is the infamous author of the book India's China War, which is often used by the Chinese to bolster their territorial claims on Aksai Chin. The book was praised by both Zhou-en-Lai and Kissinger though Lee Kuan Yew of Singapore called it revisionist pro-Chinese history. This infamous book shaped much of the world's view of the Indo-Chinese conflict and helped Richard Nixon in his detente with China. He had read it too and it figured in his discussions with both Chou-en-Lai and the other bugger.

you are right about AP. It has been done by virulent BIF forces with an evil motive in mind and that depended on the continuance of the YSR govt. the son would not have made such a desperate attempt to succeed his father had he had not been read in by the BIF.

during the desperate search for the wreckage of YSR's crashed helo, a request went out from some politician in AP who reached into the white house and requested help and the US was on the verge of moving a DOD satellite to cover the area where the helo possibly went down.

then all of a sudden and out of the blue, one of the cell phones connected to a cell tower to send a text message that was actually sent earlier but did not go due to connectivity issues, sent possibly by the security officer accompanying the cm. All perished at the site but the cell phone survived the crash and connected to a cell tower when by chance the bad weather momentarily cleared, the signal strength improved just enough and the connection was fleetingly established.

a local politico who had the reach to contact the white house and get the ok for a dod satellite, how often does this happen.

not the us ambassador in India, not the Indian ambassador in the us, but the white house direct

the entire planned AP division project became a fiasco that failed because of the YSR black swan.

KCR saw his golden chance, backstabbed the mafia and quickly clambered on to the telangana gaddi with owasi's help by entering into a faustian bargain with him

Its logistical nightmare for EC to police every booth. EC and government forces also do expect people to behave in somewhat reasonable way. The way situation is in West Bengal, I think in future they should hold Lok Sabha elections in entire country except WB. Once rest of the country has done its voting, move ENTIRE CRPF, Army, SPGs and all forces to West Bengal to police each and every booth. It appears that the situation is indeed quite worse. As long as it was CPI was TMC, it was well and good. However now time has come that WB has to mend its ways and work with "Center", which now happens to be BJP ruled. If it does not cooperate, then 'ban this, ban that' will continue in future. Momta will never be made into martyar.

I see there are 2-3 threads of theories which may sound CTs, but many events fit into. Another intrigue is YS Vivekandanda Reddy, brother of YSR, was killed brutally with axe at his own house just before the start of this election in May. Jagan started to do Sava Rajakeeyalu (dead-body politics) for this elections but didn't work.
chetak wrote:jagan is offshore controlled and dangerous.

Money maybe but YSR vote-bank was more than money as it simply shifted to YCP. KCR is entirely different project with domestic political interests who served some political needs.

Yes I know. The same Maxwell of the 1962 war Maxwell report. The Brits have a long history of sending such agent provocateurs to ingratiate themselves into the local intelligentsia with an eye on then subverting the nations institutions. The mistake they made is to underestimate the extent of cohesion of the Indian nation state, by a long long way. Not to say they were resorting to wishful thinking, but despite the despair of life in the 1960s, India's made of much stronger stuff .

Bhagwan Vyasa told us the tale of Shumb-Nishumb in Srimad Bhagvatam.
KCR and Naidu fought over Tilotamma (Hyderabad) in 2018 and later lost. Now he is in decline.

It will continue between KCR and Jagan over other apsara.
Only we won't understand as we are too close to the situation.
So you might have guessed it I don't want Jagan near any NDA tent as he will pull the tent down.

i think that the Hindus knew that after the partition of 1947, no other chance would be forthcoming to allow more vivisection(s) and the reestablishment of another smaller, fragmented Hindu majority state.

the BIF tactics then adapted and changed to fund and fuel separatism by conversion to help the breakup.

This infamous book shaped much of the world's view of the Indo-Chinese conflict and helped Richard Nixon in his detente with China. He had read it too and it figured in his discussions with both Chou-en-Lai and the other bugger.
I think they are fairly smart - they figured out a core thing keeping India together is sanatan dharma, allows people from different regions, bakgrounds to seek common ground and also harkens hope and optimism offering hope of "what was" and hence "what can be". Hence the renewed focus on using EJs, cultural marxism and islamist radicals to gradually break the core belief system entirely.

EC order for early end to poll campaigning in West Bengal
This is absurd.. Its the JOB of the Electoral Commission to ensure that free and fair elections take place and electioneering is an integral part of elections. Ram Nath Kovind should go ahead and place WB under presidents rule now because the state police is filled with TMC cadres and is not listening to the ECI.

he was born a brit and educated there.

the ruinous state of the country of his birth will not leave him unmoved and India's rise will certainly remind him of the malicious lies that he wrote about her and his bitter forecasts that did not come true.

he displayed a churchillian desire to see India go down in flames.

For example, I'm sure that my local town paper that used to have few reports per week about acid throwing, abductions, etc. would probably never make it to statistics as they never archived papers.

Where does Hindu go to get statistics on slow genocides?
