RW hate Rajdeep but I think he is more of a devil's advocate who gives MSM space for counter narrative to left propaganda. It works well for BJP.

In Amethi, the 2019 turnout was 9.4 lakh votes out of which only about 2.5 lakh have been counted so far. So keep praying and anti-jinxing, this thing ain't over yet.

so within these limitations, its a amazing show. far far in excess of even die hard wb members were expecting.

Supratik wrote:The bhadralok areas have remained TMC.
Let them remain so, at their own peril. This bhadralok reminds me of the Kerala Brahmin community who too are into too much Utopia and communism. Mamatha Begum's tantrums would now be all the more. Was'nt she who said she will NOT meet Narendra Modi, and would meet some one else as PM (after LS 2019 elections)?. Now she can stay put at Kolkotha for next five years.
Karthik S wrote:Valid point I saw on twitter, had CG brought in ordinance for sabarimala, we would have added few more in the kitty from KL and TN.
I humbly disagree (in context of KL). An ordinance means, the commies get a chance to weasel out of the whole debacle. The Central Govt. kept quiet, kept the ball always in the court of Kerala commies. Today the commies in Kerala are being humiliated, and the voting pattern against them was mainly due to the way they handled Sabari Mala temple. The central government allowed their arrogance to go a full round. A lot of women's votes (from Commie families) this time have gone out from their buckets. The commies in thier internal survey always factored a "minimum sure vote" from each place. They always assumed 100% of this to come from them, plus a lot more when they play their minority card etc. But this time around their "minimum sure vote" count itself has come down - which means even their hard core voters ditched them. The North Kerala Communist mafia which is ruling Kerala today, will have to now face tough questions.

But that said, this is also the right time for the newly formed Govt. to close out the Sabari Mala issue once and for all. Either get the Court order modifed/annulled or bring in a new legislation (which perhaps would benefit more number of temples).
Sumeet wrote:Tanveer Spokesperson of JDS says there is a problem in coalition in Karnataka. Tanveer also said they will reevaluate alliance with INC.
Jr. Gowdru was hopping around from one temple to another this morning. But looks like the Gods were not with him. In Tumkur Sr. Gowdru is trailing behind the BJP candidate. In Mandya, Jr.most Gowdru is trailing behind BJP candidate, Sumalatha. Now similary congress too will have sob stories to tell. The vote exchange scheme between INC and JDS just did not happen.
Singha wrote:so PP , sachin reddy and chintamani were very much on the dot.
I was one of the paid users of PP's web site. Feeling happy that I made some good "purchases" recently. When I read his reports (often with no metrics or data), I felt that PP was just out of his mind. But his predictions seems to be holding good.

Prakash Raj leaves after realising he's losing. Just for comedy ;). "Kuch Bhi" Edward Prakash Raj does a walk out (from the counting station, that is).

Don't worry saar. TN is there to save the day - their sister party CPM will most likely get 2 or their total 3 seats nationwide from TN (Madurai and Coimbatore).

^I'd like to see MIM come out and lead a campaign to get Muslims to let go off the temples in Ayodhya, Mathura and Kashi before any efforts are made to include them in anything.
