Mort ji, I didn't say anything about pakis. However, your comment led me to investigate further and it seems like that after Houston, Dallas is the next islamic target. I had also inquired further and definitely have second hand love jihad type reports. The other one was eye witnessed at a lower end motel where I went to visit the family.

Islamophobia has prevented any usage of classifier here. Compare that to Sunnyvale attack where everyone including local police had made foregone conclusion that victims must be muslims when they weren't.

Arnav Gupta left his house on Cindy Lane about 9:20 a.m. Wednesday and three hours later set himself on fire on the Ellipse near 15th Street and Constitution Avenue, according to U.S. Park Police and Montgomery County Police.

Montgomery County police issued an alert Wednesday asking for help in finding Gupta after they said there was concern for his “physical and emotional welfare.”

U.S. Park Police said they responded to the Ellipse about 12:25 p.m. after receiving a call about an adult male who “lit himself on fire” in an area frequented by tourists near the White House. Secret Service officers helped extinguish the flames.

Gupta, 33, was taken to a hospital where he died Wednesday night, according to Park Police, who have turned over the investigation to the Washington Metropolitan Police Department.

Darshanji,

The I-35 corridor from North Texas to San Antonio, about 200 miles, is seeing the highest economic growth anywhere in the US. In this process it is brining in lots of educated professionals and small business owners across the US to this area. That unfortunately includes lots of pakis and other Islamonuts into the mixture.

No ji for me. I believe that Dallas’ bring refugees here political policy is going to be a problem for the metroplex. Not that islam needs refugees to show the reality. All it waits for is enough numbers. Soon there won’t be lot of difference left between Houston, Michigan, Illinois, Minneapolis, and Dallas. It’s the speed at which they have managed to take over the corridor that had me surprised.

Not sure if this was picked up before, a tidbit that cross links to IS thread with link to India and Hindus:

Pompeo tells Germany: Use Huawei and lose access to our data
BERLIN (Reuters) - The United States raised the pressure on Western allies in a war of attrition over next-generation networks on Friday, saying countries that allow China's Huawei to build their telecoms infrastructure could be cut off from crucial intelligence data.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo issued the warning after meeting Foreign Minister Heiko Maas of Germany, which has so far stood with Britain and France in declining calls to ban the state-owned manufacturer from the 5G networks now being built.
In the latest sign of escalating trans-Atlantic tensions over trade and security, Pompeo, on the first leg of a five-day European tour, said that while countries would take a "sovereign decision" on which equipment to use, that decision would have consequences.
"(There is) a risk we will have to change our behaviour in light of the fact that we can't permit data on private citizens or data on national security to go across networks that we don't have confidence (in)," he told a news conference.
Pompeo later met Chancellor Angela Merkel for brief talks before flying on to Switzerland, describing Germany as "a great, important partner and ally of the United States".

The Germans did put the matter succinctly, it's not just the Huwaei backdoor but the NSA does it too via proprietary American hardware. It's just a matter of choosing which trapdoors you are going to let in. So much for "security " :((

Germany and western Europe are beholden to the US for security, since they have to spend so little and in return the big for gorilla protects them while putting most of their budgets to national development and economic growth. This is what DT has been saying, that Germany and other western European countries must spend >2% of GDP on national defense. The dirty little secret is that the US provides security because it knows the racist Europeans would revert facist ideologies if left to their own. The European (including the UK) RW are racist ideologies at their core unlike the US which has much of the same, but has a strong component of libertarianism.

All of the global dork media (GDM) talks of a nuclear flashpoint in south Asia, when in fact I believe Europe after 30-50 years will revert to war when the US pulls out.

The US has put restrictions on sale to China - at some point of time or other - on semi conductor plants, sale of electronic components and now android (google) OS and apps. We are in line and our turn for all these embargoes will come too if our companies become competitive enough.

Mortji,
May I add that while DT may want Germany to spend more on national defense, no one (Russia, France, UK, Poland, Greece, the Balkans and all other West European nations that were under Germany in WWII) wants a militarily stronger Germany. This is still taboo in Europe. German economic high handedness in EU is resented but accepted as a necessary evil, but its resurgence militarily will not be tolerated by anyone. Most Germans I have talked to tell me that inside EU Germany has achieved all that Hitler could have achieved, but peacefully and in a democratic manner. Frankly speaking even the US does not want a militarily strong Germany. So, while DT may want Germany to spend more, Germany can not without weakening the EU. EU is a weak organization and its weakness will grow as the US declines and unable to provide the degree of security it has provided since WWII.

Thanks Boss. It is difficult to get inside DT's head as it is full of girls like Karen, Marla and Stormy, and I get distracted. But here goes:
1. He may just want each country in NATO to spend more so that the US may have to spend less. Germany has a lot of export earnings, so it should contribute more. This is the official reason. However, once the US spends less, there will be no reason for NATO members to kowtow to the US; they will make decisions as per their interests. So no token support in future Yugoslavia or Iraq or Afghanistan. In the coming conflict with China, the US may be alone.
2. He may want to weaken EU. He has made many statements in favor of Brexit, which as a neutral power is difficult to explain. I mean the US should be neutral in Brexit affair and not take sides. The US alt-right, which has many DT supporters, also wants a demise of EU. Demise of EU means the demise of France and Germany (UK is leaving anyway) as a economic power.
3. Perhaps he has a poor grasp of the European politics, just as he does not understand NK. We have all read how he hates to read and be briefed. The current situation in Europe has evolved through generations of small changes. DT has great faith that he has the intellectual capacity to change things drastically and make the NATO countries accept this change willingly.
One thing is certain, as the US declines, and as China and India assume a bigger world economic share, the European countries will get more political freedom from the US.

f the EU does not amend the proposed rules of the European Defense Fund (EDF) and Permanent Structured Cooperation (PESCO) – an initiative to create a future EU military – Brussels may have to make do without US weapons or NATO aid, a senior State Department official said in a meeting last month, according to the Spanish daily El Pais.

Citing transcripts from a May 22 meeting in Washington, El Pais reported that Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Michael Murphy told a group of European security ambassadors that the proposed rules are too restrictive for US manufacturers, and needed to be changed when it comes to intellectual property, technology transfer and export controls.
Murphy is said to have threatened the Europeans with the specter of Russia, a country that “has a physical border with the EU and constitutes a direct physical threat to its member states” in his words. He also said that any security crisis affecting the EU will “inevitably” require a response from NATO – including non-EU members US, Canada, Norway and presumably the UK, once Brexit takes effect – and the alliance may not be able to help if NATO and EU armies become “less interoperable and cannot fight together” as a result of new EU rules.

Earlier last month, the Pentagon even sent a formal letter protesting the new regulations to Federica Mogherini, EU High Representative for Foreign Policy.

There is rich symbolism in the signing in the German city of Aachen, which has changed hands over the centuries and is known in French as Aix-la-Chapelle.
the earlier capital of the holy roman empire....
France and Germany agree to establish common positions and issue joint statements on major EU issues - formalising their existing co-operation. They also plan to act as a joint force at the United Nations.

From foreign policy to internal and external security, the two nations commit to coming up with common positions while seeking to bolster "Europe's capacity to act autonomously".

The two countries commit to:

Deepening economic integration with a Franco-German "economic zone"
Developing Europe's military capabilities, investing together to "fill gaps in capacity, thereby reinforcing" the EU and Nato
The possibility of joint military deployments as well as a Franco-German defence and security council
For young people, there is agreement to focus on cultural exchanges and increase learning of each other's languages, with the aim of a Franco-German university.

There are also plans for closer cross-border links and greater "bilingualism" on both sides of the borders.

Ramana, G. Sarkar very good points on German rearmament and the fears of German reunification and militirisation. Only 30 years ago when the warsaw Pact was collapsing and the Berlin Wall was about to fall after the heady summer of 89 (lovely year of sunshine good music, romance for moi), Margaret Thatcher and Mitterand of France were opposed to any form of German reunification. In fact they preferred to have Gorbachev in the GDR than Chancellor Kohl.
The Germans and the Japanese have always insisted on honouring the post war constitutions imposed by the USA on both of them that limited military spending to a small proportion of the GDP. The creation of NATO and the EU was to bind Germany to these institutions as a way of dissipating any return to chauvanism. German companies and state institutions do spend a lot more on military Rand D, that is never taken into consideration eg cyber security.
Today Germany is rather a very polite, sterile and boring place with an Airforce that is pretty much grounded, and a Navy that does very little work, for lack of key personnel.
One of the reasons for the NPT in the late 60s was to prevent Germany and Japan from using their nuclear expertise and diverting their burgeoning nuclear material for weapons production. The same could be said for the retention of US forces in South Korea.

isn't the marshall plan over and done with.

why aren't the rich eu dudes funding more of their own defence needs and why are the amerikis still pouring dollars down this apparently bottomless hole.

is it actually anybody's argument that yevil germany will rise again, goose stepping through europe while singing deutschland uber alles.

have the amerikis taken some sort of permanent thekedari to serve and protect these permanently ungrateful europeans.

and, aren't we forgetting the nuclear armed frenchies skulking just next door

there is an overt collective national guilt in germany and also in japan about what happened in the great wars but covertly there is a resurgence in the desire of both these nations to take their rightful places in the new order.

Again let me bring to your attention that the Germans were forced accept the borders that the Allies forced on it not just the constitution. The entire country of Poland was moved west and the Prussian Koenigsberg became Kaliningrad. This is one example. Poland lost lands to USSR and gained lands from Germany to the West. To make this permanent, the population was transferred. Look
at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Territori ... ch1939.png. No one will touch this topic in Europe because if ever Germany were to reclaim these areas, every thing will fall apart. The stability of Europe is based on the current map and this will stay till there is a radical change in the political situation. The EU guarantees this situation.

Strange to say this then, but those germans do not fully understand hitler who was equally concerned about the aesthetic/ cultural component of the volk and the dreams of lebensraum, his works mentions this, as does the reichs actions concerning art. Germanys own hideous architecture for the reconstruction and the "post-modernism" structural theories attest to the fact that the above assumption is not entirely correct.
OT for the topic but not the thread, the world fair at chicago c.1890's fairly sum up the us, the last time they were romans with all the architecture and layout,it was all made of false rock, and when it all went out in a big fire it took with it the last attempts at truly majestically herculean structures and evropa identity. Now people everywhere live and work in matchboxes and if the stars prove perverse, glassy ugliness adorn the skyline.

^^^^^^
kit, you are 1008% correct. DT thinks that Germany will buy US-made mal, and he thinks this is a "jobs program", even though military expenditures are exactly the worst investments to make if one is concerned with jobs. This is because military hardware and supplies and materiel, are priced at a functional premium, for a number of reasons grounded in the basic economics of manufactured goods. (Lower unit numbers means more expensive production runs, while also fewer labour hours and more money spent on high-end (expensive) technologies. Put more simply, a billion dollars spent on tanks will employ a comparatively lower number of workers to manufacture them; than would a billion dollars spent on infrastructure, education, housing and energy investments. Much more of that (larger) profit margin from that billion spent on mil-wares, will be more highly concentrated in a few hands; than would be the lower profit margins made in consumer goods, which would feed a wider and larger supply chain, altogether employing more people.

The only reason why this is even possible for the 'Khans, is the reserve currency status of the USD, which is completely predicated on the Saudis et al. pricing their petroleum in dollars, instead of Euros. It means the whole world that buys petroleum, must hold a "float" of a certain amount of USD. This is what enables the 'Khans to run their printing press, and make stupid economic decisions with practical impunity.

This is why DJT and all of his predecessors, have been wedged far-up the Saudi's asses, et al.

When the world moves beyond petroleum, the petrodollar will become extinct.

Before that time, if the Saudis et al. begin to price their petroleum in Euros (or another currency); that'll be the early death of the USD.

What DJT doesn't appreciate (comprehend) is that Germany and France are in advanced stages of their preparations for a EU military, which will certainly favour European mal over American-made gear.

With the UK leaving the EU (and France virtually cheering them out-the-door); Europe will set a new path that has not been seen before. It will not move closer to the Khans, and it will remain weary though practical in it's outlook toward Russia.

Europeans will certainly view their own military expenditures as partially an industrial revival and sovereignty gambit; and they will serve their own interests far ahead of any sales pitch offered by any flavour of American president -- most especially "the orange one".

IMHO the US dollar is simply like 1 share of stock in the US. Ppl are willing to pay high amounts of their own currency to buy it. End of story - whether it is oil or missiles or toilet paper, the most liquid and guaranteed form of stock that one can buy and sell is the USD. Used to be gold and then the pound sterling but today the symbol for that is :ROTFL Oiro not far behind.
