That herrow was R.B Sreekumar, a Gujarat cadre office (but a Malayali) who headed the CISF contingent at ISRO at Thiruvananthapuram. He was also the IB man. It was he who worked on the ISRO spy scandal case. But don't think he will face the music any time soon. This I deduce; after reading two books. One by Nambi Narayanan and another by T.P Sen Kumar (DGP of KP). Nambi Narayanan may have been framed on the spying charges, but a lot of other aspects in the case is still not favourable for him. There was this Sasikumar chap who reported to Nambi, but who has been very quiet even when others demanded justice - that is because his activities were not very clean. Nambi also had some internal vigilance enquiries done, over concerns of running a side business etc.

If Siddaramiah still has a say; then I think Congress of KA can still outsmart Gowdru & sons. Siddu is a pastmaster when it comes to playing games in KA politics. The Congress two days back disbanded its entire Ka.PCC and only retained the top man there Dinesh Gundu Rao. But looks like even main stream media cannot completely hide the fact that JD(S)-INC rule in KA is not going well. Jr. Gowdru (CM) makes one sob-story or another pretty much every week.

In this case GoI should actually go slow on any plans for extraditing the IMA top-boss. His underlings (including a tea-seller who is in the director board) have all been picked up for interrogation. This entire ponzi scheme was a "halal business" so it should be kept in the show-case to tell others what these forms of "halal business" actually are. Karnataka has a local act which is to ensure investors get their money back, when a financial instituition goes bankrupt. But in "halal business" such as IMA, every investor is a share holder ;). Keep the IMA head honcho in the middle east, but slow fry his underlings so that they will squeal and more dirty secrets would come out.

Roshan Baig actually was suspended for saying some truth (for a change). He consideres K.C Venugopal (a kind of advisor in Ka.PCC) as a bafoon, and considers the Ka.PCC president a pompous fool. Looks like he was also instrumental in toppling the IMA ponzi scheme, by ditching the owner at the right time ;). And yes, Yeddy being silent is actually a big big surprize. Looks like A.Shah and Na.Mo have given him some really strong warning this time around.

has anyone noticed that kj george has deep dived and he has not surfaced in the longest time. he went silent soon after the coalition was formed.

After the mansoor IMA ponzi scheme no muslim will vote congis to power again in areas like shivajinagar etc.

BJP is not willin to touch baig or any others of the other fatwa procuring lot of muslims even though they are all quite keen to join the BJP. A lot of ullemas, in the short to medium term, are dead ducks as far as influence goes, as they took payments (as usual) for fatwas praising the ponzi schemes and actually procuring more customers for IMA.

baig has sordid details of the ponzi scheme but it seems that he and many others from his community are star players along with many congi bigwigs and senior baboo(n)s.

Saar, please, dont go by this muck generated by KP and local news

VSSC runs a vigorous counter-I ops and one of the offshoot is stories of harsh disciplinary actions against even senior figures and department heads for even the slightest suspicions. There are three stories from my childhood till college, that come to mind.

I kind of know these folks, people around them and the KP folks. The chap who you said is reporting to Nambi, is married to a rich family. His daughter used to be my immediate junior. She used to come to college in a maruti1000 (a  mark of extreme wealth in that era) and word was that her maternal grandpa was stinking rich planter/business owner etc. When the scandal arouse later and her dad got hauled in by the loutish Sibi Mathews, this canard of his shadiness was spread by a certain newspaper belonging to Kottayam. Nambi-sir also had a few "suspicious" activities taken out of context by this same newspaper, including that one I mentioned above, where the VRS he requested, has been twisted out of context

Two other stories I can narrate.

When in primary school, a classmate's dad got suspended because they found a piece of some special alloy wire that he snipped off as part of whatever he was fabricating in some lab and they found that tiny piece inside his pocket. It was apparently a case of forgetting to empty pockets in such establishments but tight inqiuiry with rigorous background checks were done about even his distant relatives. But he resigned, because he felt he kind of dropped the ball. However the local news guys get fed such news by inside rivalries and soon the local news papers ran stories of how he "regularly stole wire and sold as scrap metal". Later, the same person, who was running a successful business after his resignation, was pulled in by a DGP, because he refused to deliver a cylinder of LPG to his house (you might have heard of that one? ) at 2:00 AM in the night. DGP later had huge egg in face, when they apparently "met" at Trivandrum Club, where they both are members. Imagine the sitting Director General of kerala being called some some choice names, while he was holding court with some other honcho, by a gang of other club members with threats of being tossed out of the club :rotfl: Yeah, was that bad

Another batchmate in engineering had a very senior dad who was heading a pure science department inside. A theft was reported and apparently a CISF patrol found something that was being tested by his lab, among a clump of trees in the campus. It was later concluded to be an internal targeting incident of him of someone who have gamed the penal process of such incidents. He (and apparently the person who targeted him) got hived off to some other department. That person never recovered his career plunge due to no fault of his and unlike Nambi-sir, never went to courts due to the actions not being too harsh. But again, the local rag based out of Kottayam had a field day.

Then finally I had posted about the case of that Sreekumar dude. The CBI was following a thread of a molehunt that they were jointly conducting with dark-glass folks at that time around the establishment, for an insider informant (maybe informing on talented personnel?). Nambi's side's contention was that he turned anti-Modi, so he can later claim like this Bhatt dude that he is being hauled off after trumped up case of being an informant, but he is actually a whistle-blower.

Shree Srivastava mentioned by vijayk is a collateral damage in the whole episode. He comes from a family with siblings who are all in civil services and is an establishment insider as it gets. He was a K-man (euphemism for a close confidant of Late Shree K Karunakaran). He got caught in the crossfire between K Karunakaran and Oomen Chandy. Once again a career that almost got tarnished by the local rag from Kottayam. However his story had a happier ending. IIRC, S had a lot of clout due to his family circles and clawed back out of the blackhole, unlike Nambi. He later headed BSF and retired gracefully. Now acts as "advisor" to the current Stalin, probably wreaking havoc on the UDF faction that did him in  He was very good at VVIP security protocols at state level and is considered as a domain expert on that

Many of them belong solidly behind bars, but not the folks you guys listed above.

Not sure how will GoI take on the rot in the law enforcement and judicial system. Following Bhatt case, ran into an example of how on daily basis local police can spin the case with no worries about accountability. As usual, sold out news outlets ran with concocted story but never bothered to ask real questions or do investigation.

https://www.dnaindia.com/ahmedabad/repo ... ep-2763680
When the community found out that the police suspected the father of murder, more thousand people gathered outside the hospital in protest. The family also refused to take the bodies of the slain members to perform last rites, until the culprits were nabbed.
Relatives say Karsan is illiterate and thus could not be responsible for the scribbles. Besides, he sustained several injuries to the head, a clear indication that someone had attacked the family.

One has to really wonder, how can Supreme Court be busy when it has time for all sorts of non judicial issues to interfere in? It would be interesting to see the distribution of longtime pending cases and see how many are for benefits of Hindus.

https://www.opindia.com/2019/06/cji-ran ... -of-cases/
CJI Ranjan Gogoi writes to PM Modi: Increase retirement age of Judges and number of Judges to tackle pendency of cases
The Supreme Court currently has 58,669 cases pending. His letter said that currently, there are 26 cases which are pending for more than 25 years, 100 cases pending for 20 years, 593 cases pending for 15 years and 4977 cases pending for 10 years.

these paki tattus think that Modi's mandate is only to solve their problems.

none of these guys even voted for him or supported him.

If talks are initiated, there will be positive response: Hurriyat responds to J&K Guv

He also said that with sincerity and Modi’s renewed mandate, “nothing is impossible and the PM can solve this problem once for all. The Constitution of India has enough room to provide not just what is promised but guaranteed”.

Chetak, cross posting from J&K thread

I know diplomacy sometimes has to be nuanced, but when J&K governor says, Harried rats are "prepared to talk", have they given up their secessionist demands by insisting talks outside the ambit of Indian constitution? The rats were always "prepared to talk", but talks they insisted as Paki proxies must be about India vacating the valley

https://www.hindustantimes.com/india-ne ... 4f3rL.html

My guess is that this is a tactical gambit by TSPA/ISI in talking to India through their proxies as a range of pressures mount on it from its 3.5. These bogus talks will be a complete waste of time until 2 pre-conditions are fulfilled:

1. TSP gives up its illegal claim over Kashmir and move away from its irredentist position on implementing UN resolutions as the conditions for those resolutions no longer exist

2. As a corollary, complete, irreversible cessation of terror and visible elimination of terror infrastructure

But if TSP voluntarily accepts #1 and #2, then what is the raison d'etre of TSP? So no, they will never voluntarily accept #1 and #2 unless they are forced to through a combination of Indian military pain inflicted on them, and 3.5 imposing the kind of sanctions that Iran/NK face.

Beepul make the mistake of thinking of Mudi as "Yinduvadi" where as he want to be know as "vikas purush" by all accounts and that too "vikas for all"!

Show me one video where that Darindar Mudi said "Mandir waheen banagya" BUT there are upteem video where he is heard saying "sab ka saath aur saab ka vikas". That mudi recently even added ".. saab ka vishwash" to his mantra.

If beepul still consider him "Yindu hridaya samrat" that is their projection on him.

Is the BJP's own 2014 Election Manifesto , where it's specially mentioned in writing, good enough for you ?

I have videos of him talking abt various Hindu causes though, which must be dear to peoples' hearts, as they were used during his election campaign.

After EC has validated the EVMs with the VVPATs basically pappu is rejecting the peopl's mandate. This will backfire on him quite badly.
Having said that the EC and GOI need to take stern action on those who question the election process as undermining democracy.

Hurriyat chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq told The Indian Express that the Hurriyat would respond “positively” if “meaningful dialogue” is initiated by New Delhi.

Two days after Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik signalled that separatist Hurriyat leaders were ready for talks, BJP national vice-president and J&K in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna said Monday that “our doors are open for anyone who wants to talk while keeping their faith in the Constitution of India.” His remarks also come after Hurriyat chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq told The Indian Express that the Hurriyat would respond “positively” if “meaningful dialogue” is initiated by New Delhi.

Basically what he says he BJP didn't file review petition to take judicial route, nor did bring in an ordinance despite having huge majority. All they did was milk the situation.

Basically what he says he BJP didn't file review petition to take judicial route, nor did bring in an ordinance despite having huge majority. All they did was milk the situation.
Sashi Tharoor is the best spokesperson for BJP actions in Kerala?

Tharoor is just muddying the waters as usual. That doesn't mean he is beyond questioning or that what he's saying in't true. He is after all the one who tabled the equality bill. A bill that can do as much damage, if not more, than RTE.

The fact is Congress wins by exploiting fears of Muslims and Christians. BJP wins by exploiting fears of Hindus.

That's all there is to Indian politics.

Every party identifies it's support base and exploits the same by creating threats.

He started his "dive" mainly after he moved out of the position of Home Minister. Perhaps that removal actually clipped his wings in a big way. And now he is completely silent. And now the bag man for Congress is D.K Shivakumar.
baig has sordid details of the ponzi scheme but it seems that he and many others from his community are star players along with many congi bigwigs and senior baboo(n)s.
For BJP, it would be wise to keep away folks like Baig at an arm's distance. Today they may want to join BJP; but that is due to their survival instinct. All these folks should be kept "secular", so that their shenanigans gets exposed one after other.
hnair wrote:The chap who you said is reporting to Nambi, is married to a rich family.
Why I mentioned this chap (i.e who reported to Nambi) is because the K.P fellows zeroed in on Nambi, after following the leads of this "junior". K.P folks knew of multiple visits by the junior to certain hill stations near Thiruvananthapuram, and IIRC it was from one such resorts/lodges that the Mali based women were also arrested. The purposes of these visists were a bit dubious. I could not find any specific reason; but in the ISRO spy case (!?) it was on Nambi Narayanan who actually decided to fight back and make attempts to prove his innocence. The "junior" and another chap; working for a russian sattelite agency all just got into "radio silence" mode. Why they took such a stance, I don't know. But if you go by what is reported it was only Nambi Narayanan who has been proven to be innocent (on charges levelled against him). Nambi could easily prove that he had no contacts with the two women in question. Using good evidences; Nambi proved that he had never even met these women. In his book he mentions the first time he actually sat close to the women was in a police bus when they were being taken to Viyyur Central Prison after the court hearing. The "junior" & the "russian sattelite man", do not think was in that same situation.
Two other stories I can narrate.
The incidents of Vigilance enquiries I mentioned; that was based on what was written in the biography of T.P Sen Kumar, IPS who retired as DGP of K.P. Again he has no love lost for the commies. But Nambi Narayanan in his fight against K.P had also levelled charges against T.P Sen Kumar. Perhaps this is what made TPS go hammer and tongs against Nambi. His book has copies of the Vigilance enquiry reports, and even performance evaluation report on Nambi. TPS had not played any active role in ISRO Spy Case at all. He was ADC to the governor then. The K.P folks were Sibi Mathews, K.K Joshua and "Smart" Vijayan.
Nambi's side's contention was that he turned anti-Modi, so he can later claim like this Bhatt dude that he is being hauled off after trumped up case of being an informant, but he is actually a whistle-blower.
Nambi in his book also mentions about a tussle between him and R.B Sreekumar over the appointment of some person. Nambi flatly refused to do that. But looks like Nambi at that point of time did not know that Sreekumar was also the local IB Man.

re sabarimala, the BJP was dealt a good hand which they then foolishly squandered by playing a losing game.

In their defence, they were hampered by the upcoming 3T bill which they did not want to jeopardize by allowing the muslims and the congis to club the two issues to make a politico religious defence.

In the end, they ended up messing up both issues and incurring the wrath of their "could be" supporters.

During their first term, the BJP was very wary of the SC but in their second term, the BJP is showing both spine as well as fangs.
