There are some from state side police officers who should be prosecuted too. I had posted before
on one of them

That herrow was R.B Sreekumar, a Gujarat cadre office (but a Malayali) who headed the CISF contingent at ISRO at Thiruvananthapuram. He was also the IB man. It was he who worked on the ISRO spy scandal case. But don't think he will face the music any time soon. This I deduce; after reading two books. One by Nambi Narayanan and another by T.P Sen Kumar (DGP of KP). Nambi Narayanan may have been framed on the spying charges, but a lot of other aspects in the case is still not favourable for him.
There was this Sasikumar chap who reported to Nambi, but who has been very quiet even when others demanded justice - that is because his activities were not very clean. Nambi also had some internal vigilance enquiries done, over concerns of running a side business etc.
Saar, please, dont go by this muck generated by KP and local news
VSSC runs a vigorous counter-I ops and one of the offshoot is stories of harsh disciplinary actions against even senior figures and department heads for even the slightest suspicions. There are three stories from my childhood till college, that come to mind.
I kind of know these folks, people around them and the KP folks. The chap who you said is reporting to Nambi, is married to a rich family. His daughter used to be my immediate junior. She used to come to college in a maruti1000 (a
mark of extreme wealth in that era) and word was that her maternal grandpa was stinking rich planter/business owner etc. When the scandal arouse later and her dad got hauled in by the loutish Sibi Mathews, this canard of his shadiness was spread by a certain newspaper belonging to Kottayam. Nambi-sir also had a few "suspicious" activities taken out of context by this same newspaper, including that one I mentioned above, where the VRS he requested, has been twisted out of context
Two other stories I can narrate.
When in primary school, a classmate's dad got suspended because they found a piece of some special alloy wire that he snipped off as part of whatever he was fabricating in some lab and they found that tiny piece inside his pocket. It was apparently a case of forgetting to empty pockets in such establishments but tight inqiuiry with rigorous background checks were done about even his distant relatives. But he resigned, because he felt he kind of dropped the ball. However the local news guys get fed such news by inside rivalries and soon the local news papers ran stories of how he "regularly stole wire and sold as scrap metal". Later, the same person, who was running a successful business after his resignation, was pulled in by a DGP, because he refused to deliver a cylinder of LPG to his house (you might have heard of that one?
) at 2:00 AM in the night. DGP later had huge egg in face, when they apparently "met" at Trivandrum Club, where they both are members. Imagine the sitting Director General of kerala being called some some choice names, while he was holding court with some other honcho, by a gang of other club members with threats of being tossed out of the club
Yeah, was that bad
Another batchmate in engineering had a very senior dad who was heading a pure science department inside. A theft was reported and apparently a CISF patrol found something that was being tested by his lab, among a clump of trees in the campus. It was later concluded to be an internal targeting incident of him of someone who have gamed the penal process of such incidents. He (and apparently the person who targeted him) got hived off to some other department. That person never recovered his career plunge due to no fault of his and unlike Nambi-sir, never went to courts due to the actions not being too harsh. But again, the local rag based out of Kottayam had a field day.
Then finally I had posted about the case of that Sreekumar dude. The CBI was following a thread of a molehunt that they were jointly conducting with dark-glass folks at that time around the establishment, for an insider informant (maybe informing on talented personnel?). Nambi's side's contention was that he turned anti-Modi, so he can later claim like this Bhatt dude that he is being hauled off after trumped up case of being an informant, but he is actually a whistle-blower.
Shree Srivastava mentioned by vijayk is a collateral damage in the whole episode. He comes from a family with siblings who are all in civil services and is an establishment insider as it gets. He was a K-man (euphemism for a close confidant of Late Shree K Karunakaran). He got caught in the crossfire between K Karunakaran and Oomen Chandy. Once again a career that almost got tarnished by the local rag from Kottayam. However his story had a happier ending. IIRC, S had a lot of clout due to his family circles and clawed back out of the blackhole, unlike Nambi. He later headed BSF and retired gracefully. Now acts as "advisor" to the current Stalin, probably wreaking havoc on the UDF faction that did him in
He was very good at VVIP security protocols at state level and is considered as a domain expert on that
Many of them belong solidly behind bars, but not the folks you guys listed above.
