3000 rounds = 300 rounds per hour for 10 hours
If 10 guns were employed, they shot 30 rounds each, per hour, continuously for 10 hours, which is about
1 round every 2 minutes from 10 guns for 10 hours.
The 145 M777 from BAE Systems was concluded in mid 2016, and in 2017 some 25 were delivered to India and the rest are part of the Make In India initiative. That was 2 years ago and I'm sure those 120 remaining have been delivered. There is suppose to be a follow on order for 500 more as of late 2015, but I don't know if that option was exercised.
The Dhanush has an order by the IA for 114 guns. 18 in 2017, 36 in 2018, and 60 in 2019.
So there may well be nearly 250 new 155mm guns that IA has since 2015. . The IA needs at least 1000 more Dhanush in the next 3 years.
