Sorry if already posted - From PM Modi:
"The Honourable Supreme Court has given its verdict on the Ayodhya issue. This verdict shouldn’t be seen as a win or loss for anybody.

Be it Ram Bhakti or Rahim Bhakti, it is imperative that we strengthen the spirit of Rashtra Bhakti.

May peace and harmony prevail!

SC’s Ayodhya Judgment is notable because:

It highlights that any dispute can be amicably solved in the spirit of due process of law.

It reaffirms the independence, transparency and farsightedness of our judiciary.

It clearly illustrates everybody is equal before the law.

The halls of justice have amicably concluded a matter going on for decades. Every side, every point of view was given adequate time and opportunity to express differing points of view. This verdict will further increase people’s faith in judicial processes.

The calm and peace maintained by 130 crore Indians in the run-up to today’s verdict manifests India’s inherent commitment to peaceful coexistence.

May this very spirit of unity and togetherness power the development trajectory of our nation. May every Indian be empowered.

Good let those issues come directly and openly instead of being hidden behind pseudo-secularism. BJP may welcome it also as it has to retain its peak vote bases for next elections.

1008 thanks to Shri LK Advaniji for being the one to kick start the movement for Ram Janmabhoomi a few decades ago that culminated in the judgment today.

While Modi/Shah are at the forefront of the movement today, we must remember that this took a long time with scores of unsung heroes.

rkhanna, SC should stick to matter at hand and not meddle. It's the executive that should rule. This was using Art 142 as cover by SC.

Never believed I could see such a day during my lifetime. That too, shortly after seeing the day of abolishing 370.
Jai Shri Ram!

Also, for some reason, I reckon the Ram Mandir model is quite underwhelming. Its no where 'bhavya' or grand. Either it needs a remodel or some sort of future upscaling ...but it needs to be unprecedented as a birthplace temple of Bhagwan Ram.

Interesting the SC judgement on Ayodhya came with opening of kartarpur corridor.
Guru Nanak helped in the way of helping Hindus with the court accepting the validity of his worshipping Ram temple in Ayodhya for centuries thru documents submitted.
This was pre 1528 when barbarian barbar destroyed the mandir. Also baburnama does not mention masjid.
According to True Indology the ram temple was built by Jaichand ~1193.

Good timing :D

All sikhs and Hindus should say these on going to kartarpur pilgrimage.

IMO (early hours still..) the correct settlement is that One Community should be "given" 5 acres: simultaneously yindoo interests should offer to buy out the entire 5 acres. So this would end up being a BIG baksheesh payout, but I feel that is the best solution overall.

Gently point out that One Community pilgrims will not feel very comfortable in the environment of the New Temple Town of Ayodhya. Consider moving to AllahabadPrayag (oh! scratch that!)

Example: Back in the 1970s, some Malloos went and bought a home in Noo Yoik, in an area occupied by YY. The YY came to them and very nicel informed them that they preferred to keep the nbd entirely YY, and made them a buyout offer that was quite fair. Malloos being Malloos, took the hint and happily took the $$ and moved.

In Bangalore, KL, there was an ancient joint family who lived in connected plots across the street/ bordering several temples, and the Madhoms reputedly where Adi Sankara went boo as a small boy. The joint family divided their plots, and then they got together and sold out to move to greener pastures like America etc. Who had cash? Only Gelf-retarned One Community, who leaped at the chance, and decided to put up high-rise luxury flat duly called Temple View etc. Three high-rises looking down onto the roof and premises of the temples to Kali, Shiva, Krishna and Karthiayani.

Fortunately, a few years later, descendant of the joint family, himself quite wealthy courtesy of being a Supreme Court lawyer and returning with huge wealth from Gelf, bought at least one of the 3 high-rises, lock stock and barrel. I am not sure about the other two. He is gone now, called back by Vishnuji at a young age, but only after doing this good deed.

Sad, but that is the only way to protect ancient nbds. I certainly don't advocate gas cylinder donations etc.

'Pathological compulsion' to comment on internal affairs: India on Pakistan's Ayodhya verdict remarks – PTI

NEW DELHI: India hit out at Pakistan on Saturday for objecting to the timing of the Ayodhya verdict, saying Islamabad's "pathological compulsion" to comment on its internal affairs with the obvious intent of spreading hatred is condemnable.

Pakistan foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi objected to the timing of the Ayodhya verdict, which coincides with the inauguration of the Kartarpur corridor, saying he was "deeply saddened" at the "insensitivity" shown at such a joyous occasion.

"We reject the unwarranted and gratuitous comments made by Pakistan on the judgement of the Supreme Court of India on a civil matter that is completely internal to India," Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said.

Regarding no Temple was destroyed comment:

What the court is saying that ASI did not give an opinion on how the Temple is under the mosque. ASI is saying that they do not know if the Temple was destroyed by an invader or it was a natural calamity, etc. All ASI is saying there was a structure, a non islamic structure.

They specifically point out that Babri Masjid side started with saying Jamnastan Mosque/Tomb was built on virgin land. This has been proven false. Then they argued that there was an idgah/smaller islamic structure which was replaced by Mosque/Tomb, Even this was found to be not true as there was a structure a non-islamic structure underneath it.

When they build the temple methinks they need to excavate the ground properly...one cannot build a superstructure on top of unknown materials and structures.

So the nonislamic foundation, if it exists, will have to be carefully removed and stored somewhere before anything can be built on that location. Complicated situation.

My prediction is they will lay low until RJB Mandir is complete and people start visiting for some months. And then gradually start bringing up other temples of Mathura/Kashi. It is not a good idea to open too many fronts at the same time.

Sorry to pollute this holy thread, but need to mark the traitors
How can I let this ***** know that someone said the following about his excretions:
Kudos to Soutik Biswas! He really earns his 30 pieces of the Queen's currency with his twisting of the Supreme Court verdict on the Ayodhya case.Let's start with his description of the case:
The reason is that this is not a humdrum civil matter. It was touched by faith (Hindus believe the plot was the birthplace of Lord Ram, a revered deity) violence (the demolition of the mosque in 1992) and subterfuge (idols of Lord Ram were placed in the mosque surreptitiously in 1949).

Oh! Gone in a flash is history preceding 1949! The term Biswas is a Bongoli corruption of the Samskrtam word "Visvasam" meaning "trust" or "belief", both appellations as necessary for this article as the title Democratic People's Republic is for North Korea. Biswas could have found that history in authoritative sources used in BBC reporting such as, say, Wikipedia. The Belief comes from the Ramayana, the history of Rama, belief in which pervades all of East and South Asia except perhaps Biswas' communist/Islamist- terrorized Bongol. That is now traced back to Vedic times, a bit older than QE-2. Like 10,000 to 15,000 years ago.

The geographic location of Shri Ram's birthplace appears to be established in the written literature available today, since at least 2000 years ago. Had the churches all over Jerusalem been demolished by invaders, with mosques built over them, would Christians have stopped trying to go there? Do Christians not believe in miracles?
So why is the BBC so bloody backward that their reporting has to so pitifully incompetent? And that too on a careful, nuanced, and unanimous decision by a bench of very independent jurists in the Supreme Court of the worlds largest democracy? Do you have no one left in Londonabad who can read and write, that you have to depend on Soutik Biswas? I will certainly not call him a cretin, Heaven forbid  for I do not wish to be slammed by the World Cretins' Association for insulting them!

Situation normal  but UP, Delhi still on alert
Uttar Pradesh heaved a sigh of relief as the day passed off peacefully amid continued vigil on the law and order situation by authorities after the Supreme Court's verdict, which had kept the holy town on edge for years.
No untoward incident was reported in Delhi following the Supreme Court's verdict in the Ayodhya case, even as police continue to remain alert to deal with any law and order situation.
