30 minute debate in nearly empty EU Parliament on draft resolution on CAA with most MEPs positive or netural towards India, few negative & only one Pak origin British MEP strongly negative.
The Virus that infected a few others. Rest signed on for human rights issues based on fake news or mis-information peddled by this baki virus.

The Wolfpack @TheWolfpack71

Pak origin MEP Shaffaq Mohammed on the verge of tears as his resolution on CAA/Kashmir in EU parliament got postponed by more than 2 months (he leaves his MEP post in 24 hrs).
Side benefit of Brexit .. another platform used by BritBaki to further their anti-India propaganda will become unavailable.

The chap is on the verge of tears not because of postponement but a postponement means a death blow to his move now that UK is out of EU and he will not be around to spread mis-information!

But I really really cant understand our Hindu (or Atheist, as is the fashion these days) psec crowds. What more do you want to hear? Muslims must be laughing at these retards who will always support Muslims, no matter how outrageous demands and threats Muslims make. Its not that Muslims are not clear in what they want and how they plan to achieve it. It is baffling that the psecs go through extreme mental gymnastics and semantics to support the Muslims. How did we indoctrinate our own people against us so much?
Through cr*p like this:

BJP MP calls Delhi CM Kejriwal a “terrorist”
In a video of the incident Mr Verma can be seen warning voters "if Kejriwal returns, Shaheen-Bagh type of people will take over streets" and that this "has happened in Kashmir with Kashmiri Pandits".

"We hear instances of Hindu women picked up by Muslim men... no action is taken as terrorists like Kejriwal are hidden everywhere," Mr Verma continues, asking voters, "Should we fight with Pakistan terrorists in Kashmir or with terrorists like Kejriwal?"
Or when it’s leader says that Feb 8 Delhi elections are between India and Pakistan.
Or when Tej Bug-ga - a BJP candidate - openly peddles fake videos to incite hatred, with no scrutiny at all.
Or when it cannot find a better Delhi CM candidate than a washed up Bhojpuri actor who famously couldn’t name a single thing that he would improve in Delhi, except that Modiji will improve it magically.
Or when it gets its knickers in a knot about a comedian bullying a single passenger for 5 mins, when not too long ago it’s MP (Pragya Thakur) held up a flight for 45 mins, harassing hundreds of passengers.
Or when it has dug its head in the sand and is in abject denial about flag waving, national anthem singing citizens protesting peacefully.
Or when a Union Minister and a Governor (Kiran Bedi) are Chief Guests in a school function, where kids rush to demolish a Masjid as part of their annual day play.
Or when we forget that the person who killed Gandhi was a radicalized Hindu with close ties to RSS, not a rabid Muslim.

People voted BJP for acche din .. progress. But it is fighting elections based on history, not on the future. Also, this notion that the “Dharmic” people against recent developments are somehow “lesser Hindus” or “lesser patriots” is just pitiful denial of reality. As an example, my wife’s entire family - several of them serving / retired Armed Forces type - has always voted BJP. But have no doubt that many of them have no affection for recent developments and want the GoI to return to the path of development. That said, in fairness, I doubt any of them will stop voting for BJP possibly because the good outweighs the bad.
It's election season and a very peculiar election fever forcibly takes hold of normally sane people.

People who have spoken politely, sanely and logically all through the five years since the last election have suddenly turned rabid.

The same is true for all people campaigning, no matter on which of the divide.

Just listen and observe. Both sides are speaking the same language.

remember aunty mafia and her "maut ka saudagar" comment.

Who would have thunk that a white skin eyetalian could say that about her Indian opponent but she did and promptly paid the bitter price for it too.

BTW, godse had left the RSS in disgust long before he did the dirty.

Let us not demonize the RSS unnecessarily, unless of course, you are campaigning too. :)

The commie-dian did not know that the place he chose to bully some one was totally wrong. He may have mistaken that the plane was overflying West Bengal or Kerala, where perhaps the leftist culture of bullying and harassing of people who don't toe the line is quite common. Arnab (the victim) actually gave the commie-dian a long rope to hang, by not retaliating and allowing the commie-dian to throw tantrums to the full extent possible.
Or when it has dug its head in the sand and is in abject denial about flag waving, national anthem singing citizens protesting peacefully.
Oh. Yes. Just read a couple of post above which is about Dr. Fasal Gafoor planning on alternate strategies to threaten the Hindu population. The flag waving, national anthem singing are all gimmicks which leave alone the government, even the common man has figured out to be a cheap gimmick. Anti-CAA protests have clearly become a religion based issue, with only the Muslim community leading the protests in areas where their folks are more. And Enforcement Directorate also has shared the news on how organisations like PFI (as democratic as CPI(M) would be ;)) are funding the whole movement. Even they are yet to figure on how PFI generates the funds.
People voted BJP for acche din .. progress. But it is fighting elections based on history, not on the future.
My understanding is BJP's Ache din plan was written in their election manifesto. So if people voted for that Ache din all what is happening is part of that package deal. The BJP also had articulated its plans for the future, and how various schemes launched by it would make long term positive impact for the poor people. And that plans seems to be working.

Is this any console to dead when people bring out this argument ,"the person who killed Gandhi was a Hindu with close ties to RSS, not a rabid Muslim."
Tell this to KP's who got massacred in their own home or to victims of Partition in Punjab. One Gandhi == All the hindus killed by Islamists across centuries. What kind of convoluted excuse is that.
Lets take this argument further down, The man who killed Swami Shradhanad or Guru Gobind Singh was a Muslim.

Why should Godse's membership of RSS be of any relevance to his Killing Gandhi. By that definition, we should black list Congoons forever since Kamalnath, HKL Bhagat and Tytler etc were congressmen while getting people killed in 1984.

It looks like a default commie congi equation: godse + RSS is one complete package.

It seems that one cannot exist without the other thereby making another very convenient BIF myth.

BTW, godse had left the RSS in disgust long before he did the dirty.

Godse found the RSS too mild for his liking which is why he left the organization.

Apparently a lone person opened fire at protestors near Jamia. Dont think anyone was killed. One was injured. The person shouted 'Yeh lo aazadi'.
Dont know how to react to this. I can understand the frustration but now it will be used against RW by the media. Then again, what doesnt the media use against RW anyway?
Waiting for more details to come out.

Edit: looks like what I feared. A false flag operation. Media guys following the guy waving the gun, he also not firing really. If someone has a gun and really wants to do some damage, is it that difficult in such a crowded place? A false flag operation to blame RW media. Nothing else. Same old tricks. Shouting Jai Shree Ram and doing more drama than actual harm while media records. LOL. And 'Hindutva atankwadi' trending on twitter. What a surprise!

This Fazal Gafoor is actually said to be "educated" and a qualified medical doctor. And if this is the kind of statement he makes, any one can imagine what would be the stance of the lesser educated and poor people. In KL, what is happening is that Islamist radical groups are gaining acceptance amongst the Muslim community, especially the youth. PFI, SDPI etc is getting more fan following than the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) etc. This has caused panic amongst all "secular" parties in Kerala, because Muslim community was a strong vote bank for all of them (champs in tactical voting). So the commies, Congress and the IUML are trying to woo back the Muslim vote bank. Each is falling over the other in proving that they are "standing with the Muslim community". But these threats are also now causing worries in the Hindu fence sitters.
Jagannathan of Swarajya has a similar take though from a different angle. He argues that the secular parties are having a hard time figuring out what to do, polarization is very evident on both sides and the usual platitudes are not helping. The muslims are realizing that they have been led down the garden path and while some are become more hard line, many may be willing to reach out with olive-branch to the Hindus finally.

Shaheen Bagh et al: Muslim Politics are all set to give 'Secularism' a big jolt:

"Whichever way the anti-CAA-NRC protests end, they have the potential to change Muslim identity politics in India.

“Secular” politics as we know it will cease to exist."

For 'Gladiator' Nitish Kumar, tossing out lightweights Prashant Kishor and Pavan Varma was kid's play. Kumar may have also advertised his reading of post-CAA trend in Bihar & his decision to stay firmly with ally BJP -The Economic Times https://m.economictimes.com/news/politi ... 755441.cms via @economictimes
Same happened with the Akalis i.e. they both have realized that BJP has increased its street cred and voter base with CAA, etc but especially after the anti-CAA protests.

What more do the dhoti shiverers need to clear their doubts? The signals were always there. Even if one could not read the mood of the crowd one could sense it by the "masterful inaction" pose adopted by Modi & co. The current bit is confirmation by 2 opportunist about the ground hawa.

Saswati Sarkar @sarkar_swati

CPIM unit breaks in its last bastion in WB, Jadavpur. Ground level Hindu leader Gobinda Das (Matua) leaves with 100s of supporters due to CPIM’s stand on CAA. He had ensured Sujan Chakrabarti’s win in 2016, despite TMC wave everywhere https://dainikjugasankha.in/edition/kolkat
Bengal is polarizing further. Btw IIRC, Mumtaz Bano-jee has passed a resolution against the implementation of CAA! If she had limited herself to opposing NRC it would be understandable but she has gone the whole hog. Theek hai.

Are we sure about this? This sounds like a massive CT to me :-). But now that he is in the custody of Delhi police, they can issue some statement. But make no mistake, BIF led by UndY perverts are milking the living daylights out of this.

Unless BJP is voted to power in Delhi, I only see these anti-CAA tamasha rising by the day.

The strategy of the BIF is very clear. They are using Indian symbols, flag, constitution, national anthem; faking patriotism, when the real and only one aim is to first derail BJP, install a bunch of useless clowns like Pappu or crazy at the hlm, and then slowly wither away the Indian state starting with 'azaadi' for Kashmir by saying its the 'patriotic' and 'nationalistic' thing to do.

Recall, what that b!tch Adiothi said, more than Muslims in Kashmir, it is India that needs 'azaadi' from Kashmir so poor Dalits and SC/ST troops will stop being used as 'cannon fodder'. So unless one has room temperature IQ or less, you can see through BIF game-plan. I wonder of the voters of Delhi, genuine nationalists, both Hindu and non Hindu, see through this anti-CAA charade.

And note the international support to this conspiracy. Its so pathetic seeing BJP claiming 'diplomatic victory' after EU postponed that bogus TSP sponsored resolution. I mean something that should have been spat with the contempt it deserves in the first place, should be celebrated as a victory? Give me a break. But that said, glad Indian govt did what it could given its international power limitations. But the whole episode tells you the level of international support BIF has.

Finally, its is astonishing how Gobbel's techniques can be use to shift the narrative away from Islamic barbarity against non Muslims, which is what CAA is all about, and instead completely upended to paint Hindus as the bigots and the villains. Wow, for the perversion, hats off.

BIF strategy can be whatever it wants but the ground is shifting in favor of BJP as is evident by the u-turn taken by the Akalis and Nitish throwing out the 2 dissenters from his party. How is it that people get swayed by hawabazi of UndY perverts!

Either GOI could have spat its contempt or done something. How could it do both at the same time? BJP is pathetic that it did something yet at the same time someone is glad that it did something?!!

Lastly, Gobbel or UndY does not matter. Akali u-turn and Nitishwa's prompt firing is proof of the ground shifting in BJP's favor. Learn to focus on the crux rather than the tamasah else you will always be disappointed.

Btw, before anyone bursts a vein, any stunt like the one being described AFTER polarization has started will only harden positions of the yindus towards BJP. This is how such things work.

Islamics are a potent colonizing force and leftists have joined. they are woken up and improving their tactics. Many non Islamic s have partaken of the biriyani . Their funds and ideology from out side India.

Delhi is completely polarised and on going protests and road jam at Jamia (adjoining two big hospitals) , Shaheen Bagh (Noida road block) are only going to polarise it further against Kejriwal.
Amit Shah is personally micro managing Delhi campaign and delivering powerful speeches. Explaining how AAP is a party of thugs and taking credit for what BJP did in Delhi.
Yogi to arrive soon in Delhi and he will do a rally near Shaheen Baagh.
This is unprecedented election for Delhi being watched closely from all over India.

I beg everyone to go on OpIndia link and read with all the proofs of librandu conspiracy.

OpIndia proves it's a leftist operation:

https://www.opindia.com/2020/01/jamia-s ... ed-answer/

‘Rambhakt’ Gulshan shooting in Jamia: A well hatched conspiracy? Here are some questions that need answers
"Journalists" who often behave as the backbone of Islamists were increasingly worried that the Islamist protest at Shaheen Bagh was giving BJP an advantage in the Delhi elections. While the investigation is still on, these pertinent questions must be answered for the truth to be revealed.

A man started shooting outside the Jamia Millia Islamia University in Delhi during the ongoing protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act. While walking backwards, almost scared of being attacked by the Islamist mob protesting against CAA, he fired one shot eventually as the police came within an arm’s distance. He has now been taken into police custody and one individual has been injured. The injured man has been taken to the hospital for treatment. In a video that has surfaced depicting the scene of events, the man can be seen brandishing a gun and raising slogans that are not entirely audible.

The man who was shooting in Jamia identified himself as ‘Gulshan’ (name changed) and has said that he did this to avenge the death of Chandan Gupta, a boy who was killed by Islamists during a Tiranga yatra. As soon as the shooting took place, the ‘Liberals’ started pronouncing their judgement, calling Gulshan a terrorist and blaming Anurag Thakur for egging this violence on. Earlier, Anurag Thakur during a political rally had said “Desh ke gaddaron ko” and the crowd had chanted “Goli maaro saalon ko”. Blaming this rally for Gulshan shooting in Jamia, the “Liberals” started alleging that this was the result of ‘nationalists’ spewing hate.

The fact that ‘Liberals’ have been trying to shield Islamists and peddle the “Hindu terrorism” bogey without a factual basis, has led to several people questioning whether the Jamia shooting was staged by the Leftists right after the Anurag Thakur speech and before the Delhi elections. A point of contention is also that after the arrest of Shaheen Bagh mastermind Sharjeel Imam who is a declared radical Islamist who wants to turn India into an Islamic nation, a conspiracy may have been hatched to shift the focus from the radical Islamists running riots since January by creating a “Hindu” object of hate.

While more details are yet to emerge and we are not sure if this is a stage-managed event or genuine disgruntlement with the whitewashing of Islamic terrorists, there are certain questions that need to be answered about the shooting at Jamia.

Why was he started posting on his Facebook profile only in January
Gulshan Facebook page which was called ‘Rambhakt Gulshan’ was created in July, but Gulshan started posting on his page only in January 2020.

_____________________
Here proof given on original link
_______________________

Even more interestingly, he had posted on his FB page created in July last year only after 6th January, when the Delhi elections were declared.

It is thus being speculated that this profile was perhaps created only in June and was used only after January as a planning for an incident such as this so it can be used at a time when the anti-CAA protests start losing steam or the Islamist nature of the protests start getting apparent in order to shift the focus.

It is also pertinent to note that the fact that the posts started appearing only after the elections were announced casts a shadow on AAP’s role in it considering AAP MLA Amatullah Khan has been at the heart of anti-CAA Delhi riots and has even been booked for it.

Unexplained page ‘likes’
It has also been revealed that the pages ‘liked’ by alleged ‘Rambhakt’ Gulshan who started shooting in Jamia has certain pages that are rather inexplicable.

It is now being speculated that perhaps this was a Facebook page of someone from the Left and not originally that of an alleged ‘Rambhakt’.

In his Facebook likes, Gulshan had ‘liked’ the pages of Ajaz Khan, who is a known Islamist and BHIM army chief Chandrashekhar Azad. The page of Azad was called ‘Bhim army ka sher’. Azad is the head of a dangerous political trope that believes in Dalit-Islamist unity and has proven to be rather anti-Hindu on several occasions. That a professed ‘Rambhakt’ would ‘like’ such pages seems rather unlikely, and thus, has given rise to speculations.

Strange behaviour of the media present while Gulshan wielded the gun
Interestingly, in the video that has emerged, while Gulshan was wielding the gun and threatening to shoot, the media personnel who were present in Jamia kept walking towards Gopal feverishly and the Delhi police stood as mute spectators.

While the obvious trope is to question Delhi police’s actions and somehow tie it to the Modi government it is pertinent to wonder why the media persons were moving so confidently towards a shooter wielding a gun.

The natural reaction of any person when another threatens to shoot is to take cover and not walk into the barrel of the gun head-on.

This strange behaviour of the media is now being questioned to ask if there was a larger scheme of things at play in this incident.

Strange behaviour of the police present
For any police force, arresting a gun-wielding lunatic without any untoward incident, with the media present and recording, is something to be proud of.

While the usual suspects would assume that the police present was “shielding” a “rambhakt”, the question that is now being asked is that why did Delhi police wait for the shooter to shoot and the media to approach before they apprehended Gulshan. There was ample opportunity to arrest the gunman before he fired the shot and that is what any police force would do.

The strange behaviour of the media and the police presence is being used to question whether this was a planned conspiracy and not a disgruntled ‘rambhakt’ trying to go on a rampage as is being touted.

When the media asked the shooter his name, why did he identify himself as ‘Rambhakt’
In the video, it is clear that when the media, who was strangely walking head-on into the barrel of the gun asked the shooter his name, he identified himself as “Rambhakt Gulshan”.

33 people are talking about this
People are alleging that this might have been a conspiracy also because of the strange manner in which Gulshan identified himself.

It is being speculated that perhaps he identified himself like that so that his Facebook page would be discovered so it would be easier for the “Liberals” to run their agenda and shield the Islamist mobs including Islamist Sharjeel Imam.

The strange case of the Facebook profile being deleted while Gulshan was in custody
Strangely, the Facebook page of Gulshan that was called ‘rambhakt.gopal’ has been deactivated while Gulshan was in custody.

Only a few minutes go, the Facebook page went inactive.

Facebook profile deactivated
The question arises as to how Gulshan, who is now in police custody could deactivate his Facebook profile. The obvious question to ask here is whether this account was solely created and spread to propagate a certain narrative about the shooter and the incident.

Old Facebook profile of Gulshan mysteriously resurfaces
There is another old account of Gulshan that was active up until the shooting event. Once the ‘Rambhakt Gulshan’ profile was deactivated, this account was reactivated.

As one can see, the last post in this profile was of 19th May 2018 and thereafter there are no posts.

The profile also was not active before the shooting and before the deactivation of the previous profile where he was supposedly talking about taking revenge on Shaheen Bagh.

While Mr ‘Rambhakt’ is in police custody, a profile of his has been deactivated and an old one has been activated. This certainly gives rise to the question of whether someone else is handling these accounts and whether this entire event was a well-hatched conspiracy.

A Congress scarf?
In the profile of Gulshan that resurfaced, he is allegedly seen wearing a Congress scarf in his display picture as claimed by several on social media.

The media is trying to paint him as a BJP supporting “Ram Bhakt” while he is allegedly sporting a Congress scarf?

The coincidence of Sharjeel Imam arrest and the shooting happening on 30th January
Interestingly, it has been only a couple of days since Islamist Sharjeel Imam, the mastermind of Shaheen Bagh was arrested for making seditious speeches. News has now emerged that he is unapologetic and highly radicalised, wanting to turn India into an Islamist nation.

When such news has surfaced and with the media trying to whitewash Sharjeel as a ‘peace activist and scholar’, the coincidence of this Jamia shooting taking place on the 30th of January cannot be ignored.

On 30th January, Nathuram Godse, who the Liberals like to erroneously call a ‘Hindu terrorist’ had shot Mahatma Gandhi in a political assassination.

That this ‘Rambhakt’ mysteriously surfaced from the crowd of protesters to wield a gun, along with the other questions that point towards a conspiracy, the fact that the Left wanted to create a false Godse-Gandhi equivalence cannot be ignored.

Conclusion
The Islamist mobs have been rampaging in the country protesting against CAA for several weeks now. With the deeply Islamist slogans, speeches and placards appearing, several “Liberals” had expressed worry about the protests losing their sheen and the reality of the mobs being made apparent. In fact, the “journalists” who often behave as the backbone of Islamists were increasingly worried that the Islamist protest at Shaheen Bagh was giving BJP an advantage in the Delhi elections.

While the investigation is still on, these pertinent questions must be answered for the truth to be revealed.

Update: It has been revealed that the suspect of Jamia shooting may be a minor. In accordance with relevant laws, his name has been changed after this revelation came to light.

IMHO, that is not really required. BJP's stances on various issues is now getting acceptance all across India. Expecting BJP to win every single election, is counter productive. Expectations would be very high, and even the slightest defeat/set back causes angst. And this is what would help BIF as well. If BJP win's Delhi, it wins another battle (which is good) but if it does not do well it can focus on the war (happening in many other fronts).

In a way this is good. All these illegals will land up in the tiny state of KL. Let them cause misery to the people in the state. And finally all that GoI needs to do is to put pressure on GoKL by putting high focus on this state alone. Simple things like extra checks on vehicles leaving Kerala, or extra checks on people migrating from Kerala looking for jobs etc will make GoKL see sense. If Kerala wants to act like a independent republic, it can be countered by some sort of "internal VISA" scheme.

If this gimmick gets exposed the next excuse from the "seculars" would be that this was all part of some street play or small drama. Just like how they spinned the story when JNU goons were seen with plasters and bandages on different parts of the body every other day. Cong-led UDF forms human maps of India in Kerala. This was the stunt in KL by the "seculars" today, so the gun totting dramatist could be part of the same grand scheme.

I feel, Kerala is going to be staging ground but the deployment will happen in TN . I understand there is acute shortage of labour(cheap labour) , particularly in building construction and Coconut plucking etc. That roles are already being done by Bangladeshis in KL. The new arrivals will eventually may start moving to industrial areas of Coimbatore and Tirupur etc.

Below are the couple of incidents in that industrial region with regard to Illegal Bangladeshis. There may be many going unnoticed.

Recently a minor girl named "Purna Devi" from the town "Avinashi" (near Tirupur) had gone missing. after few days, her parents got a call from Bangladesh. They are informed that she was now called "Fatima" and living with a man who was illegally working in Tirupur. After few months another call informed that girl died due to illness.

"Joy Alukkas" jewellers shop got robbed. Police investigation pointed the direction towards a Bangladeshi gang. But could not catch the loot and the gang as the West Bengal Police did not give cooperation. All it took is 30 hours to reach the Bangladesh from the time loot got noticed.

So, There is a Bangladeshi presence already in this region. Which is a worrying sign.

Tirupur is already facing issues with regard to Africans(Over Stays), where now they are covertly owning some small apparel manufacturing units. specially to supply the same to their own countries.

You throw any new fact for or against any point, it is only going to further harden the positions in both sides irrespective of the facts. There is no more any center or swing voter left who can be swayed by facts.

I don't know who will win in Delhi but positions & voters on both sides have hardened. Only something spectacular will jolt voters out of their stand but this latest flash of gun at Jamia does not fall into that category.

Now would be the time for BJP to DEMAND that they withdraw the protest, at least on ONE SIDE of the road. If they do withdraw, shout from the rooftops that it was because they got scared. These people can't stand loss of face and being portrayed as weak.

Or - just start off twitter rumors that, as soon as they heard that the Yogi was coming, they got scared and started withdrawing. There is no way these people can stomach that kind of snickering against them, it would be the most galling kind of loss of face.

Recently the veteran reporter Bhau Torsekar did a vblog on our Sanjay Raut. Sanjay Raut takes great pride in claiming that he came up from the street, and was a "crime reporter" in the Shiv Sena run daily "Saamna". (Incidentally Bhau Torsekar was a reporter in the earlier Shiv Sena run magazine Marmik). He said that SR far from being a reporter was merely a clerk in some Express group publication. Once he was given a chance to write a report on Arvind Inamdar, the then Police Commissioner of Maharashtra. He did such a bad job of it, that AI sued the publication, won in courts and made the publication to apologize and retract on the same page that the original article appeared and also had to pay monetary damages. As per Bhau, Raut is a product of social media and the only reason he gets exposure is because the media channels are too thick to challenge him on anything.

Most of the above we knew already, but not the lawsuit part. IMHO Raut has his own agenda which may or may not agree with UTs. BT never gave Raut a bigger role than being an editor of Saamna with good reason.

How Sharjeel Imam’s girlfriend helped them nab him according to Delhi police: Here is all you need to know
After arresting former JNU student and The Wire columnist Sharjeel Imam Tuesday from Bihar’s Jehanabad, the Delhi Police returned to the capital with him on Wednesday. Imam, who was booked in a sedition case, was produced in the Patiala House court in Delhi on Wednesday, which sent him on five-day police custody.

The Delhi police investigating the case, have now revealed that Sharjeel Imam’s girlfriend had played a major role in the Shaheen Bagh mastermind’s arrest. The Delhi Police laid a trap to nab Imam with the help of his girlfriend.
According to police sources, Delhi Crime Branch and Bihar Police tracked down Sharjeel’s brother, Muzammil at 4 am on the day of his arrest. On being interrogated Sharjeel’s brother gave out the information about one of Sharjeel’s friend named Imran, whom the police immediately took into custody. Imran further divulged that since the time Sharjeel had been on the run he was only in contact with his girlfriend.
Delhi police then approached Sharjeel’s girlfriend and pressurized her to call Sharjeel and ask him to meet her at Imambara near Malik Tola village. When Sharjeel reached the spot to meet his girlfriend, the police nabbed him.
Read the rest in the link above. Also the reports about his having surrendered are false.

He went for some nookie and ended up in the Chowki. :D He is in good company there and also along with OBL..

<snip>
@vijayk - For each of these news articles, I could give you 10 about acche din being far away.

- Have you looked at the disaster that is our disinvestment policy? Instead of following the Vajpayee policy of privatizing PSUs or even the UPA policy of selling stakes publicly, Modi sold BPCL to *another PSU* for Rs 37,000 crore. So GoI got the money, still retained control, while not realizing any benefits of privatization.

- Have you seen how LIC has been forced brazenly to bail out PSU FPOs and IPOs and most of these investments have been loss making (if your'e wondering Rs 20,000 crore from investments in just the last 2 yrs - that too when the stock market is at an all time high!) This is how UTI 64 went bankrupt in the past and was forced to get a bailout. Why repeat the same mistakes from the past?

- Modi ji used to complain about budget and sought credit for the fact that once he came to power "he didn't bring a white paper out on the true state of the economy" to protect India's interests. Guess what, he's followed the same footsteps. The true state of fiscal consolidation is unknown because he's expanded FCI, NHAI, IRFC bonds to fund budget ideas- some of these bonds are not even sold on open market, just directly funded by other cozy Govt institutions like LIC and NSSF. Now, why not follow your own advice and account for budget the right way?

I could go on. When we voted BJP in with a full majority in 2014, expectations were sky high. He had a golden opportunity with oil prices declining, freeing up nearly Rs 1.5 lakh crore in oil subsidies per year. It's delivered on several fronts no doubt, but many other fronts have become worse as well. The 4.5% GDP growth is super telling and I bet none of us could have predicted something like this would happen when the most growth friendly party was voted with a majority. Let me refresh some memory, here is an excerpt from the 2014 BJP manifesto:
"In contrast, now at the end of Congress-led UPA regime, the GDP growth has plummeted to very low of 4.8%"

Modi by bringing in Demo + GST + DBT has shaken the system from its roots. For example, in those Tax collection booths at every state/major city border everyone working there was a crorepathi multiple times over. The bribes collected over there would have share for everyone from the state CM/ FM to the peon of that tax booth.
Now all of them are thrown out in different offices and might not be able to make the same amount of money that they were making earlier.
NREGA was also a big money spinner, I personally know of village sarpanch who were ready to spend upto 20 lakh to win in their elections. With DBT that has also considerably come down.
All of these and many such improvements have brought down the money flow in the system. Every rupee bribe would have generated at least 10-15 Rs extra for GDP. Let these corrections happen, then we will have a real booming economy.

I fervently hope that the economic turnaround happens and by the time 2024 comes up we will be comfortably past the 7-8% growth. We cannot lose Modi/Shah because economy took a backseat to all the other socio/religious wins we are notching up.
