Dear
@DelhiPolice
,

It's urgent. I have crucial information regarding more protestors mobilizing to Delhi who are calling to:

1) Reach Delhi by 28 February

2) Take refuge in Gurdwara

3) Occupy Connaught Place

Be aware & watch Mosques, Madrasas, Temples, Gurdwaras & Churches.

This will be the modus operandi after every Friday prayers as the rioters get advantage of weekend., along with biased media with tied hands of police.

1. Advertise that all internet is being watched with machine learning algorightms.

2. Ban on loudspeakers, phones, internet devices at mosques.

3. Right to protest must be at a designated area for less than 3 hours., anyone protesting on roads/rail lines should be arrested, finger printed, DNA recorded (implant the tracking device in their body too), and constantly watched.

---
There are many other things too!! for example

Government should declare that if UCC is not allowed then we will implement Sharia law for muslims only. (anyone caught with stealing will lose hand, murder means head, and so forth). While UCC for rest.

Given the fact that the protests are bound to escalate, and riots will be engineered, it is time India enacts a tougher police law to handle this situation. Institute irreversible policy changes that will set out clear cut punitive actions against rioters and murderers.

Once again, this is the right time to have these conflicts.. at least they are happening now than a few decades in future.

The culprits who keep reversing my edits (from Azad Kashmir to POK) seem to be mostly from France/UK/Scandinavian countries. I don't mind since I want a trail of talk and edits to be there so that it can be discussed ad infinitum. That gives me a chance to quote Accession Pact and its legality by the UN.

I used to be a W supporter but not anymore once I realized that they too have an agenda. You will find that most articles related to Hindus and India are biased and factually wrong, if you try to correct them, the edits get reversed very quickly. There must be a team or algorithms set up to watch these changes.

Guys, I just got this from our local Ekal Chapter. They have launched a support site for the victims of the recent riots in Delhi. As per our group it is a kosher site and the proceeds will be distributed by Dharmics to the needy Dharmics.

Please do contribute, I have already done so.

Here it is

While we rightly condemn biased foreign media and politically motivated comments from senile geriatrics like Sanders,we must keep our house in order too and not allow others to take advantage of our internal problems.Sadly in Delhi the police were present on the scene but absent in doing their duties, maintaining law and order.
Their eqpt. too was inadequate to handle riots of the kind that happened. Both the HC and SC have chastised them and a reshuffle of top officers must be done as the people have little confidence in them.

I was sad that it had to take our NSA to be the one to defuse a law and order situ, which should've been the work of the Delhi CP/ DG top brass!
As if he has no other work on his hands ,while he is combatiing all our other internal conspiracies and external threats from Pak and China both overt and covert. The HM should weild the broom to restore confidenceand the courts bring to book those individuals
who by their hate speech egged on rioters, etc.Action should be swift and not drag on for months and years which will only encouragemore violence and anarchy.

The needs of the central government in Delhi are too particular for the current form of federal representation for Delhi . It’s got to go back to being a UT with an elected MCD that parties can vie for .
I agree with you. Does not make sense for Delhi to be a state.

Does anyone know why it was converted into a state in the first place? Seems like a purely political decision with no proper reason.

Why does wiki chacha say that Delhi is a UT? Does he know something we don't?
Delhi is a UT, but with a legislature. Like Pondicherry, and the new J&K UT. But constitutionally, it is still a UT.

I wonder if anyone here would please try to sit down and document with CLEAR evidence and timeline:
1. Anti-CAA agitation in Dilli
2. Statements by its instigators/leaders
3. Escalation into ShaheenBagh
4. Escalation into outright violence (a) against Police (b) against civilians.
5. Events of last week
6. Eruption of actual mob violence
7. Statements of people seeking end to the violence
8. Resort to armed resistance
9. Resort to counter-attack
10. What happened when Polis finally got enough strength to clamp down.
11. What has happened since in Courts.
All the rest is gas.

Western media is wrong: India isn’t losing its pluralistic ideas
28 Feb, 2020 03:09

Sagarneel Sinha is an India-based commentator who writes on Indian politics, national affairs, religion, culture, and philosophy. His op-eds have appeared in the Statesman, the Quint, Asia Times & the Shillong Times. His Twitter handle is @SagarneelSinha
This week’s editorial of the Guardian on recent violence in Delhi claims that “Modi stoked this fire.” Western media’s biases against democratically elected Prime Minister Narendra Modi is now a normal thing.

On December 13, 2019, the Washington Post published an analytical article titled “India’s new law may leave millions of Muslims without citizenship,” while the Economist in its edition of January 23 said: “Narendra Modi stokes division in the world’s biggest democracy.” In fact, the Guardian editorial had described last year’s democratic mandate as “bad for India’s soul.”

However, the image that Western media wants to portray about India is highly exaggerated. India’s new citizenship law, which they call “divisive,” isn’t actually divisive because it doesn’t snatch away the rights of any Indian citizen, including Indian Muslims. This law just aims to fasttrack the citizenship of those six religious minorities who came to India before 2015 from three Muslim majority countries – Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. Importantly, this amendment passed in the Indian parliament doesn’t alter the existing policy of naturalization, which is open for every legal immigrant irrespective of any religion.

Despite these facts, Western media picked up the narratives of Indian left intellectuals and started portraying the Modi government’s new law as part of a sinister plan to turn “Indian Muslims into second-class citizens.” They state that there have been huge protests by “secular Indians cutting across regions” against the law. No doubt, the Western media view these protests “as an attempt to save India’s soul.”

Here, the Western media ignores some important points. Firstly, the protests are led largely by a minority Muslim community aided by left intellectuals and activists, who mostly are soft towards the opposition parties. Muslims are protesting because of the widely spread misconception that the new law would render them “stateless,” which is completely untrue.

Secondly, what the Western media won’t tell their readers is that a majority of Hindus don’t have an issue with the citizenship law. So, terms like “Indians are angry” are highly overstated. Only in Assam, situated in the northeast region of India, the locality, both majority Assamese-speaking Hindus and minority Assamese-speaking Muslims are against this act – but their reasons are completely different. They are against immigrants whether Hindus or Muslims or belonging to any religion, as the province has already been burdened with both Bengali-speaking Hindu and Muslim immigrants for decades. Instead, Assamese are often associated with having some sort of “xenophobia” – which is highly inappropriate.

Thirdly, Western media terms this act as a “majoritarian decision to turn secular India into a Hindu religious state.” They are wrong again. The new law, keeping local interests in mind, excludes northeastern provinces where the majority are mostly Christians or where Christians have a large population. Had the law of the Modi government been a “Hindu supremacist one,” as alleged by Western media, these provinces with a large non-Hindu population would have been included too, against their wishes. Importantly, the six religions that the act mentions include Christianity and Zorastriansm, apart from the four Indic religions – Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism.
Lastly, the Western media states that this act will be followed by the National Register of Citizens across the country “to complete the process of exclusion of Muslims as citizens of India.” This is again highly exaggerated. PM Modi himself has clarified that there has been no decision taken on this by his government. Until now, the NRC has been implemented only in Assam. But the context is completely different, which the government too has stated repeatedly. Assam’s NRC ordered by India’s Supreme Court was based on the Assam Accord signed by the Indian National Congress government led by then-PM Rajiv Gandhi with Assamese organizations in 1985. Significantly, the NRC is about detecting illegal immigrants with no parameters favoring any particular religion.

The recent horrific Delhi riots, in which both Hindus and Muslims clashed with each other, too are the outcome of this constant fear mongering of Muslims, which polarized both communities. It happened due to the involvement of some mischievous anti-social elements aided by intelligence failure. But it would be grossly incorrect to interpret on this basis that “India is losing its pluralistic ideas.” Delhi is only a part of India. It doesn’t wholly represent India as the Western media believes. Communal riots have occurred earlier too in different parts of India many times since 1947. Although there have been tough times, India has never abandoned its pluralistic ideas, which are not facing attack under Modi’s rule.
Some of us depend on collecting such pieces at BRF for future use because battles are won by patient hard work.

The man worked in IB, but he still operated in his own locality. If I am not mistaken his father was with the Delhi Police. Even in the local police the local Special Branch man's identity is quite out in the open. Generally identity (or true employement) of a person can only be well concealed if he is NOT working in an area where locals already know him. Many states have what is known as State Special Branch, which works like a minor version of IB & RAW. They have unmarked offices, unmarked vehicles and generally the exact way of deputation into this unit and posting of men are not shared with any one.
Primus wrote:There is also an almost 'in-your-face' kind of belligerence when it comes to the society in general. ...... The only time they can be controlled is with the threat of equal or greater force applied against them - and then they of course will play the victim card.
Totally agree on the belligerence part. And that is why in India even putting a police check post in a Muslim ghetto causes problem more to the police (than to the people in the ghetto). But on the second part, I am still confused. To play the victim card and gain sympathy, there has to be a group of people to listen to them and then cry on their behalf. As we all know media in India does that. But how was that achieved? Why should the commies, commie sympathetic media support always and every time a cult who has been spewing venom & terror pretty much in every democratic country today? To be frank, if it was not for social media and the internet pretty much every one would have converted by now :).

Mean while The Hindu Lite Deccan Herald continues its propaganda
Case filed against BJP's Kapil Mishra in Muzaffarpur court, hearing post Holi. The same tactic can be adopted against the "secular" leaders where BJP and allies can file cases in their respective states. Ra.Ga already has seen this in action. And M.F Hussein literally had to run away from the country as he had cases filed against him in every state.

Bengaluru's Bilal Bagh protest completes 20 days. Desperate attempt to show that there is a Shaheen Baug in Bangalore as well with the entire city being effected.

Is this your New India for us, Modiji? - writes a girl with a Hindu name, with a pure one-sided view of the incident. Some pure Modi hatred.

Silver lining in the dark cloud...
Delhi violence: Only 4.2% of Delhi affected by communal riots, says MHA. Which means remaining 86% of Delhi alone, and rest of India are perfectly normal. Now I also see news reports coming in the secular vernacular media of the Hindu-Muslim Bhai Bhai stories, which generally is an indication that the minority community rioters and sympathisers do NOT want things to escalate further. Either their original plans of riots, murder & rape have been successfully executed, or they are now seriously scared of retribution.

Tend to agree with you. The English media in India are desperately trying to be the old day's British brown sahibs. Their 'power' was that they were skilled in English, and for an average Indian even today knowing English is like becoming a genius on all counts. Watching English news channels, agreeing with their view points and aping them are all considered to be modern activities. But considering the general population in India the %-age of British brown sahibs is very less, which also means that the English media's coverage is actually less (than what they try to portray).

Vernacular news medias (TV & print) knows the pulse of the people. So if Hindi Media in general report things factually or do NOT go on a Hindu-bashing spree that is mainly because the Hindu crowd in their area of operation are not Dhimmis and will hit back. In South India we have this media group Asianet News (in which a BJP MP has a major stake). Asianet News operates a new channel in Malayalam which is very anti-Modi, anti-BJP and more like a CPI(M) mouth peice. The same group's Kannada News channel (Asianet Suvarna) how ever sings a different song. This came out when people identified who the two channels reported about the communal riots & police firings over the anti-CAA protests at Mangalore. So just like how experienced pimps knows the whims of their clients, the media also knows what people want and how to get money from them.

Looking at recent events in Delhi I am getting concerned about my kids future in this country. Muslims can lay siege for months and then when majority finally looses patience, Islamists come out and butcher Hindus ... All under the noses of the so called Hindu Nationalist government of BJP. The visuals of Islamists organizing to kill and destroy Hindus is really frightening and depressing. Shame on Modi and Amit Shah, shame on RSS. If this can happen to Hindus in India, what future does a hindu have ??

I think Delhi Police should use the window/opening provided by Mander/Gonzalves/Delhi HC gambit to file FIRs against all such speeches, including Kapil Mishra, going back to around the start of Shaheen bagh sit-ins. If they made Kapil Mishra's speech as the benchmark for hate speech or incitement then so be it.

This whole vulgarity of bothside-ism and false equivalences business disgust me.
Some ‘moderates’ are upset why a few Muslims defended themselves and decided to stay alive in the face of death.
Why didn’t they politely offer to be killed by the murderous mob at their doorstep.

Delhi HC also issues notice to Centre on another plea filed by an advocate seeking FIR against social activist Harsh Mander, RJ Sayema,Swara Bhaskar, Amantullah Khan(AAP Party) under appropriate IPCs & IT Act and directions to NIA to conduct an investigation into Delhi violence.
Good! But more names need to be on that list given the amount of venom that has preceded the violence. Hopefully, Delhi Police will do the necessary after going through the videos and tweets.

Where was local IB while the preparation for riots was going on ? How come they could not tap into the chatter.
As per rumors, The HM is more than inclined to let cops be cops than to restrain them from executing their duty.
If "Outsiders" were also involved, then how come IB had no clue about the movement of these outsiders.
We do need overhaul of Law enforcement agencies as well Intelligence gathering.
Where is the eye in the sky during the time of turbulence ? People will be scared to go out on the roofs and throw petrol bombs or drag people into the home if they can see a UAV hovering in the sky.

@DelhiPolice has registered an FIR against AAP councillor #TahirHussain on the charges of murder at Dayalpur police station. He has been named in the FIR under section 302 of the IPC.
IIRC, the riot cases are being transferred to a specially constituted SIT.

If you get scared so easy, then I guess the going will get even tougher for you. For worse is yet to come. Plus what exactly you consider "safe" is a big mystery to me. From Paris to San Bernardino and from orlando, Florida to london bridge, is there a corner on this planet which is still untouched by Islamics. Maybe Chile or antarctica.

Just go through our history and see what are ancestors must have gone through during times of mughaliyas. They struggled and came out of top in their own way.

Become a warrior. If someone is asking for a fight give it to him. And teach your kids also to fight, so that you do not have to bother with their future. Shape them in warrior mould. Being a warrior is much higher calling in life than being a CEO or a businessman.

Delhi riots were waiting to happen

Delhi riots were waiting to happen

The real worry is that the ongoing violence may be a trailer, and it may soon spread elsewhere

This is the age of the rabble-rouser with social media amplifying the noise of the loudest voices. In Delhi, a marginal politician like Kapil Mishra has mastered the art of staying in the news by making provocative remarks. Mishra, once a minister in the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government and now with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), is accused of fuelling the flames that have engulfed a part of the national capital by threatening the anti-Citizenship (Amendment) Act, or the CAA, street protesters to withdraw their agitation or face the consequences. The same leader had during the Delhi election campaign pitched the election as an “India versus Pakistan” battle, a shockingly communal remark designed to spread hate in the hunt for votes. Then he was barely rapped on the knuckles by the Election Commission, but now his mischievous role in the Delhi violence needs to be investigated.

Mishra is not alone in being a troublemaker. Last week, Waris Pathan, a local leader of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) in Mumbai, had warned of how “our 15 crore” can outweigh “their 100 crore” in the context of the anti-CAA protests. These incendiary remarks have only added a toxic edge to communal relations on the ground, leading to an eruption that has left dozens dead and more than 100 injured in the Delhi riots.

Let’s be clear: This was a riot waiting to happen after months of hateful, high-pitched rhetoric that has sparked off fear, resentment and anger among communities. When protesters at Shaheen Bagh are described as “desh ke gaddar” (anti-nationals) who “deserve to be shot” by government ministers and their cheerleaders, and when every attempt is made by the political leadership to demonise the Indian Muslim, the seeds are sown of a potential flashpoint. When a relentless propaganda machine with the aid of some media caters to the worst prejudices of the majority community, then a deepening religious divide on the ground is almost inevitable. That the State did not seem to anticipate the likelihood of trouble is even more perplexing: The government machinery was caught napping, deliberately or otherwise. That it should happen while a high-profile United States presidential visit is underway is even more baffling. Surely, the last thing the Narendra Modi government wanted was the pageantry of a ceremonial occasion being shadowed by the grim underbelly of religious violence on the street.

Which is why the role of the State machinery in failing to control the violence needs investigation. It’s the oldest rule of the administrative rulebook that no riot is allowed to simmer for 48 hours without some level of either administrative incompetence or complicity or both. On day one, the Delhi police was outnumbered and ill-prepared to handle the spurt in street violence. On day two, there is enough video and anecdotal evidence to suggest that the police, instead of acting in a strict and non-partisan manner, was seen to shamefully side with one group of rioters. This “communalisation” of the police force is not new: In almost every major riot, the police’s role as an enforcer of the rule of law without fear or favour has come under the scanner. In recent times, the police has been totally embedded with the ruling elite: The entire system of transfers and appointments is decided on the whims and fancies of the political class.

Which is why both the police headquarters and administrative leadership in the home ministry need to answer some tough questions. Who failed to ensure that sufficient police forces were on the ground on the first day of the violence? And who allowed the police to get away with their one-sided actions on day two of the rioting? This dangerous mix of incompetence and complicity cannot go unpunished. The fact that some anti-CAA protests organised by Muslim groups in northeast Delhi took a terribly violent turn, was seen as enough reason to allow local Hindu groups to retaliate with impunity. The result is a scarred and divided neighbourhood where both ordinary Hindus and Muslims have suffered a loss of life and property.

The real worry is that north-east Delhi may only be a trailer, and that it will not take long for similar violent eruptions to spread elsewhere. For there is little sign that the ruling party at the Centre has learnt its lessons or that it genuinely wants to bridge the growing religious divide. If it did, it would sack the likes of Kapil Mishra, instead of indulging and even legitimising their venomous rhetoric. If it did, it would start a dialogue with the Shaheen Bagh protesters instead of ostracising them. And if it did, it would realise that the politics of reflexive anti-Muslim hatred may consolidate a Hindutva vote bank but will only end up polarising society to the point of no return.

Post-script: In my reporting from northeast Delhi, I met Kamal Sharma, whose restaurant was gutted and I met Mohammed Nawaz, whose fruit shop and house was razed to the ground. Both lived on opposite sides of the main road. If we can’t heal both their lives, we will have only created another unofficial “border”, this time in the heart of the national capital.

It was good in parts, most glaring deficiency is that egotistic dork who never lets anybody else speak. The erudite Fracios Gautier wanted to intervene several times, but never got a chance, thx to dorkie going on and on.

The other thing is dorky's self satisfying rubbish that the reason for western media's anti-Hindu, anti-India, anti-ModiJi biased coverage is because they want to increase their hit rate and shore up their flogging sales. Nonsense.

No its because of Americans' scant interests in India in the first place. And hence rags like NYT and WP (when it comes to India that is) put out lazy, intellectual dishonest narratives stemming from a colonial, racist outlook that they have to begin with, and further validated most often from brown coolies like Burka bibi.

In fact, I posit that if the rags were to put out such lazy re-cycled standard narratives (for e.g., Pankaj Misra's recent NYT puke) of say Israel or any other western country including US itself, the readers themselves would be calling them out leading to the rags making a course correction. I doubt narratives and reports on India are read by any meaningful percentage of Americans (except some Indian Americans and strategic experts) and hence the rags can get away with standard colonial propaganda buttressed with half truths and cherry picking current events that validate their bias.

Case in point. Pankaj Misra in his NYT drain inspector report claimed that 2001 attack by Pakis on Indian parliament was a false flag operation by Indian intelligence agencies. Just imagine if the same scum bag had made such a brazen claim about 9/11 being a plot by Jews and Mossad (a widely held belief worldwide among p!ssfuls), do you think Pankaj Misra will ever write for the NYT again? But you can bet that he will return in a few weeks re-cycling the same anti-India, anti-Hindu bile because nobody in America gives a rat's ass to what is written about India, except for for strategic value which useful idiots like Pankaj Misra serve like loyal slaves.
