You can protect this forum, but targeting nationalist minded folks for simply expressing their views is not good.

"Inflammatory" ? I was the one who was expressing happiness that no Hindu retataliations happened and asking folks to exercise restraint post the Delhi riots.. someone was asking Hindus to get armed and get physical trained, I was against those ideas.. and how is enquiring the possibility on a rapist/murderer on the then Juvie, now adult so "inflammatory" ?

Perhaps being a fanatic who encourages people to mob violence is ok but not one who asks folks not to take law into their hands and one who wants to go through legal process but continues to pursue justice for oppressed and brutalized folks is "inflammatory" ?

By using words like "inflammatory" and "dangerous", I find your manner of speaking to me insulting and a gross misuse of your moderator privileges.

If Ramana Garu, whom I respect also feels this way, I will quit this forum..

That would be of any benefit legally. The Nirbhaya Rape case trial is now de-facto over. The police by now would have taken the maximum 'juice' out of these convicts. It was based on what ever statements they gave and the police investigation findings which led to the succesful filing of charge sheet and conviction. So there is NO new information which needs to be taken from these convicts now. When Yakub Memon was to be hanged the pro-Jehadi news papers like The Hindu had listed the same reason to keep him alive. He may still be able to give information on Pak terror modules etc. This was when he was arrested nearly 20 years back, and was in prison pretty much for the remaining part. What new information could he give sitting inside the prison? The juvenile escaped mainly because of a faulty law, and may be his religion would also have helped many 'seculars' to provide him legal aid.

There is an interesting angle to yes bank fiasco, while it is very good that GOI took proactive step to protect financial industry and confidence in banking sector there are two info that came out that bothers :

1) The yes bank was started by two brothers Ashok and Rana Kapoor, while Ashok was the traditional good guy Rana was flamboyant massa educated, siculiar, ex. Bank of America executive. When Ashok managed the bank it was performing in an awesome way, when terrrorists hits the Oberoi hotel he was having dinner there and it is said that they specifically took him out and he is no more. After this Rana takes over at that time yes bank NPA were less than one percent in 2009/10. Since then it is going down stream rapidly, why I bring this up will bring in a sec.

2) There was painting from PV that Rana purchased for exhorbitant prices and he has deep connections with Vadra.

Now if you recall the raghuram rajan fiasco he knew what was going on and he systematically let banks one after another without letting or interfering to protect the small investors of this country. What had been done during yes bank could have been done to PMC, indusind and others. Remember there was lot of media crap and hoo halal from media, BIF's on RR's removal now it makes sense that likes of Rana Kapoor knew that their chaddis would twist hence they want their guy there and wanted the scam to continue. Only once urijit Patel started he started cleaning up the house and with iron hand he quit because he was harassed by same beauraucrats who are in such crony pockets.

Lately govt passed sleuths of law to increase insurance to 5Lakhs from 1 lakhs including co-operative banks in ambit of RBI releThis could have been prevented with RBI's timely intervention in earlier cases which did not happen. I do not know that Rot is such deep, we need to analyze this situation and see what needs to be done. May be another thread to investigate collapse of all the banks in recent past and what can be done to protect the financial system. With less oil prices we will have more money available but at the same time more risks from such scamsters

The so-called Anti-CAA protests have clearly exposed the various Islamic terror outfits within the country. TNTJ, PFI etc are now becoming more known to the general public. And looks like with these moves these Islamic radical outfits would also be exposing some part of their hidden network (involved in fundings, sleeper cells etc.).

The Kolkata police STF has arrested a college student, Tania Parvin, from Bashirhat on Thursday on suspicion of being a handler for the dreaded Islamic terrorist organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). The suspected handler Tania Parvin was arrested by the STF from her house in Baduria and was taken to the ACJM court in Basirhat the same day. The judge sent her to police custody for six days.

Tania Parvin is said to have been associated with the LeT for over two years and was under the watch of the security agencies. She is also accused of spreading communal hate in the garb of Islamic preaching and provoking Muslims through her speeches at several locations. She has been accused of terror funding, sedition, fomenting religious hatred and inciting Muslim youth to wage a war against the country.

COVID-19 seems to unearth many other unpleasant truths as well. Gold smuggling in 'God's Own Country'
Gulf Returnee Tests Coronavirus Positive In Kerala, Refuses To Cooperate With Officials, Divulge Details Of Travel
As per other Malayalam online portals this person seems to be a smuggler and thus hesitant to share his details. He is also from a 'a minority community' and from Kasaragod district quite notorious for Gold smuggling.

Make no mistake, COVID-19 has been spread in India entirely by careless entitled upper and upper middle class imbeciles. Kanika Kapoor and another guy in Kasaragod might have single handedly created local outbreaks. The damage is unfathomable.

While people at the lower end of the economic scale are fighting tooth and nail to keep their jobs and put food on their family tables, these wealthy, egocentric, unhinged low-lifers are behaving despicably with perverse disregard for any sense of decency. Call them out.

Hate to say this. COVID is already spreading in the community thanks to people traveling, partying and praying when they should be home. Brace yourselves for the next two weeks, and secure your parents, grandparents and senior and high risk/unwell relatives and friends.

Oxford brats, bureaucrats, Bollywood celebs, politicians, it is mostly privileged who are making us lose the fight against Coronavirus outbreak so far.

this unmanageable spread via uncontrolled social contact may soon put us in the midst of a country wide pandemic overwhelming the capacity of the system and causing serious law and order issues in a mad scramble for scarce medical resources.

This is huge. Om Shanti to the fallen. Hopefully, there will be a quick counter strike.
https://www.news18.com/news/india/bodie ... 46121.html
Bodies of 17 security personnel, who went missing after a major encounter in Bastar's Sukma between Naxals and state forces, were found on Sunday. Fourteen security personnel were injured in the attack. A 150-strong search party combed the jungles around Chintagufa, where the encounter broke out on Saturday afternoon, to locate the missing men.

The Inspector General (IG) of Bastar range, P Sunder Raj told reporters that the bodies of the 17 police jawans who were feared missing earlier have been recovered and that 15 weapons, including AK-47 assault rifles, Insas rifles, and an Underbarrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL) have been reported missing. District Reserve Guards (DRG) has suffered most casualties at 12, while the Special Task Force (STF) unit has suffered loss of five lives. This is the first time the DRG unit, which comprises Bastar locals, many of who are surrendered Naxals themselves, have suffered just a huge blow.

Officials said a joint team of DRG, CoBRA and STF launched the operation from Chintagufa, Burkapal and Timeleada after specific input about Naxal presence in the forests near Elmagunda. The Naxals allegedly fired at the DRG when they were advancing through the Korajguda hills.

According to sources, a joint team of 600 police jawans, from DRG, STF and CRPF's CoBRA unit was sent to a location in Chintagufa's Minnappa forests early morning on Saturday. The team came under fire but repulsed the attack successfully. "But as they were returning to their camp at around 2:30 pm in the afternoon, they came under heavy ambush," said a source.

The source added that the teams were sent on a combing operation after intelligence was received about a major congregation of Naxals from nearby states like Telangana being in meeting with the top brass of CPI (Maoist). "Usually we know that there is some movement of Telangana leaders in this area. But this time, we had hard intelligence that was so good that we felt compelled to act on it," the source added.

Prima facie it appears that the Naxals had been tipped off about the special forces coming in. Jawans entered the jungles of Kasalpad and were turning back after they didn't spot any Naxal movement. It was after they left the forest in this area and reached near Koraj Dongri that Naxals ambushed them. Surviving jawans have reportedly told their seniors that they came under fire when they tried to rescue their injured colleagues.

Officials believe some top Naxal leaders of Bastar have been hit in the operations. A CRPF contingent was sent for rescue and support once news of the encounter came in. "Arms and ammunitions of the security forces have been looted but Naxals too have taken the hit. At least four to five of their leaders were shot when the forces retaliated," a local official said.

The Saturday's encounter in Bastar is among the deadliest for the counter-insurgency forces after the April 2017 Burkapal encounter in which 25 CRPF personnel lost their lives. The area where the encounter happened is quite close to the encounter site of 2017.

Sources in the state police's STF said they believe the latest attack was directly ordered by the new chief of CPI (Maoist) Basavaraju, which was perceptible by a marked increase in the firepower of the Naxals, which was a worrying development for the forces.

"The Naxals, we have observed over the past few encounters, have been firing on an average 2,500 rounds every encounter, which means they've been able to get their hands on new source of ammunition," said a source. "Their UBGLs (Under Barrel Grenade Launchers) have a markedly improved accuracy. It seems they have been able to indigenously improve their existing weaponry."

This is the first big Naxal encounter that Chhattisgarh has seen after the killing of BJP MLA Bheema Mandavi in 2019.

Murky details of covid 19 patient and kasargod resident in Kerala tumbling out.
The antecedents of the Kasaragod resident who tested positive for COVID-19 and roamed around infecting a large number of people is getting murkier with the Customs confirming that he was in their watch list after getting caught in the past for smuggling.
Interesting fact is he was interacting with IUML MLAs within his supposed quarantine period. I get the feeling he might become a millstone around IUML's neck.

Unless the central agencies (IB, DRI, Customs & Central Excise) go at him with resolve and firmness, nothing is going to happen. Various parties in KL are hand in glove with these 'peacefool' smugglers and would only be sympathising with the 'poor' smuggler.

With the quarantine on I just feel its also a good time for police and security forces to go after the following with minimal collateral damage:
  • Drug network and peddlers
    Sleeper cells
    Urban Naxals
    BIF NGOs
    Terror suspects
    Black marketeers
    (Child) prostitution and begging rackets
Arms trail and so on and so forth
There is already pressure on the force to maintain the curfew but this is also a never before opportunity where all snakes are hiding in their holes with no direct support. Am sure Doval and internal sec. would be looking at some of the above already beginning with the weeding out of the Maulavis

the beedi govt, inimical forces on both sides of the border, the TMC, congis and the commies are complicit in this and cattle (including counterfeit notes drugs and weapons) smuggling is a huge cash cash cow for political parties as well as, very unfortunate but true, being a source of income for rogue elements in our border forces as well. One security gent on his way to kerala on leave was caught with 17 lakhs cash on him which is why he took the train and not the plane as he was entitled to do.

we seem to have termites, both Indian and foreign, eating away at the innards of the nation.

This ties in very neatly with the demographic changes so desperately sought by both the beedi and the paki deep states and thus the sympatico handling and huge clandestine state funding of this long standing venture by the beedi authorities.

Why Border Control is Critical for a safer India

Why Border Control is Critical for a safer India

The result has been large-scale fence-jumping by Bangladeshis who now jump over to the Indian side and disappear into the forests or paddy fields while the BSF is issuing blank threats.

Rakesh Krishnan Simha @ByRakeshSimha
Demography (Persecution & Proselytisation) | 24-03-2020

On July 23, 1998, as the 8029 Down Kurla Express rolled into Uluberia station in Bengal, it was attacked by a 9,000-strong mob collected by the local MLA of the Forward Bloc, a junior partner in the ruling Left Front. The crowd, armed with sharp weapons, burst open a compartment carrying 34 prisoners, including seven women, all illegal Bangladeshi immigrants.

The 14 policemen from Maharashtra who were accompanying the prisoners fired 11 rounds in self-defence until they were rescued by the Railway Police. According to the Home Ministry in Delhi, the prisoners were “snatched away”. Their guards were handed over to the West Bengal Police.

The next day, it happened again. As the Kurla Express entered Kharagpur station, the West Bengal Police intervened. They asked their counterparts from Maharashtra to quietly hand over the 38 prisoners before another mob decided on “direct action”. The prisoners, who were zari workers, were awaiting deportation to Bangladesh following court orders in Mumbai.

According to the Times of India, “The drama in Uluberia and the pre-emptive strike in Kharagpur were not spontaneous expressions of indignation. They were carefully orchestrated by the Left in West Bengal to score a point over the BJP and its Shiv Sena ally and, at the same time, consolidate its own electoral base.” (1)

While members of the Indian public have expressed their frustration at why nationalist political parties are not delivering on their promise to send back illegal Bangladeshis, the reality is that it has been sabotaged by the left-liberal-secular ecosystem that has blocked these efforts. According to former Home Secretary Madhav Godbole, the Shiv Sena-BJP government’s campaign in Maharashtra to detect and deport illegal immigrants in Mumbai was frustrated due to the opposition of the then Jyoti Basu-led Left Front government in West Bengal.

Godbole said, “The West Bengal government refused to give any assistance to the Maharashtra Police. There were public demonstrations and even stone pelting by the leftist parties. As a result, the Maharashtra police had no alternative but to return to Mumbai with the illegal migrants and to release them in the city to live happily thereafter!” (2)

Bangladesh: Subversion through illegal migration

The Indo-Bangladesh border is highly porous, making the illegal movement of people and goods a perennial problem. The nature of the terrain – open farmland, rivers that change course frequently and dense forests – makes complete fencing an almost impossible task. This is highly conducive for Bangladeshis to sneak into India.

With the Congress, communist parties, especially the CPI(M) and CPI, and lately the Trinamool Congress, allowing Bangladeshis to settle and proliferate, the frontline states such as Bengal, Assam and Tripura are under severe demographic pressure. “Over the years, the magnitude of this illegal migration had reached such an astounding proportion that it had begun to alter the demographic profile and threaten the socio-political fabric of the border states,” says Pushpita Das of the Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses. “The increasing influence of Islamic fundamentalism in Bangladesh has resulted in the large-scale push into India, of not only economic migrants, but also the foot-soldiers of jihad terrorism and pan-Islamic fundamentalism, all of which have the potential to destabilise the country and threaten national security.” (3)

Pakistan: Terrorists and drugs

Unlike Bangladeshi Muslims who are able to slip into Bengal, Assam and Tripura, and blend into the location population without raising immediate suspicion, Pakistanis do not have it that easy, primarily because of the over 1,700 km long floodlit fence. However, here too there are chinks in the armour. For instance, in Jammu & Kashmir, there is a 200 km stretch of the Line of Control that is hilly, forested and intersected by rivers and numerous drains. Patrolling such treacherous borders is a nightmare and that is why these are the favourite ingress points for Pakistan-based terrorists.

Again, in the Jaisalmer-Barmer segment in Rajasthan, the border markings get covered by shifting sand dunes. Plus, 64 km of the Rann-of-Kutch segment of the Gujarat border has been left unfenced due to marshy conditions. All these serve to highlight the extent of engineering and financial resources that will be needed to completely seal the border.

While Kashmir is the route for terrorists, the large-scale influx of drugs into Punjab indicates that Pakistan is penetrating other borders as well. The BSF has unearthed a number of tunnels that ran right under the electrified fence.

Then, there is the long coast which is the preferred route for pushing in fake currency, weapons, explosives and drugs. The November 26, 2008 attack which killed 170 people, including 18 security personnel and five sailors, caught India completely by surprise because it was the first time that heavily armed terrorists entered India through sea route, bringing Mumbai to a halt for nearly three full days. (4)

Like the cunning Shakuni of Mahabharata, Pakistan is undoubtedly a shameless and proud practitioner of the art of deviousness. It is not just the fountainhead of terror, but also excels in innovation when it comes to launching terror strikes. While Bangladesh’s plan is demographic conquest, Pakistan has adopted an all-angles attack that includes terror strikes and economic destabilisation via fake currency.

China: Himalayan problem

While the China border is largely quiet, one occasionally sees armed intrusions by the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) soldiers, with the most recent case being the 2017 Doklam standoff when the PLA tried to build a road through the land that is claimed by both Bhutan and China. (5)

Other than Pakistan, China is perhaps the only country that is obsessed with territorial expansion by nibbling away at its neighbours. While things have quietened down across the Himalayan border, it must not be forgotten that Beijing funded the Maoist guerrillas and India’s leading communist party, the CPI(M). For decades after the 1962 War, China funded full-fledged guerrilla movements in several states, causing massive loss of life in those regions.

However, the festering boundary issue continues to bedevil relations between the Asian giants. China lays claim to both Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh while simultaneously occupying around 90,000 sq km of Indian land in Aksai Chin.

The 2017 Doklam standoff showed that China as the expansionist power can calibrate its strategy to unsettle India. That India strongly pushed back and forced the PLA to offer a truce is a credit to the Narendra Modi government’s new approach to dealing with adversaries. However, a different government may not have given the Indian Army a free hand. With the opposition parties and the largely leftist media echoing the Chinese point of view and bizarrely portraying China as the winner, the dragon has plenty of allies in the Indian camp.

Disaster in the making

India is having to implement the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC) in the backdrop of violent opposition from Islamists and Christians and their secular provocateurs. But how did we land in this ugly situation? Primarily because of terrible border management and control of the previous decades.

Porous borders have traditionally been India’s Achilles Heel, but with terrorism and illegal immigration now an existential threat, the country needs to implement border management systems that will offer security to all Indians.

Securing and managing India’s borders is a critical priority, but due to the nature of the country’s geography, it will always be a challenging task. India’s land border of more than 15,000 km is spread over 16 states and two union territories, and all states except Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Delhi and Haryana are frontline states. The 7,516 km long coastline touches 13 states and union territories, plus there are 1,197 islands accounting for 2,094 km of additional coastline.

Different international borders pose different challenges and complexities. The Pakistan border sees cross-border terrorism and movement of armed militants and smuggling of goods and narcotics, while along the Bangladesh border, illegal immigration and smuggling are the main concern.

Despite facing multifarious threats, India has a fragmented approach towards border security. This can be gauged from the fact the Department of Border Management (which comes under the Ministry of Home Affairs) deals with border management issues but the security of borders is not its prime focus. Instead, our borders are guarded by security forces like the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and the Sashastra Seema Bal which report to the Ministry of Home Affairs.

In contrast, the US, which has one of the world’s most peaceful borders (with Canada and Mexico), created the entire new Department of Homeland Security within days of the 9/11 terror attacks in order to have a focussed approach towards border security.

How not to pursue Security

Deterrence only works if your adversary is made to understand that you would not hesitate to order fire if needed. Just as criminals fear police with guns, the enemy must fear you; or else you might as well withdraw your soldiers and let in the hordes. And yet the political leadership has defanged the BSF at the Bangladesh border, exposing them to danger.

In March 2011, India and Bangladesh signed an agreement that bans the BSF from using firearms while warning potential illegal migrants or smugglers. The BSF has to give two warnings to these intruders before firing at them. (6)

The result has been large-scale fence-jumping by Bangladeshis who now jump over to the Indian side and disappear into the forests or paddy fields while the BSF is issuing blank threats. Worse, it has led to a number of murderous attacks on BSF soldiers including one incident in which a soldier’s arm was ripped off by a mob of illegal immigrants.

CIBMS – going High Tech

In 2012, the Ministry of Home Affairs decided to implement high-tech solutions in border management when it released an Expression of Interest for a Comprehensive Integrated Border Management System (CIBMS) on the borders with Pakistan and Bangladesh. The project is aimed at improving the capability of the BSF in detecting and stopping illegal infiltration, smuggling of contraband goods, human trafficking and cross-border terrorism among other issues. (7)

CIBMS involves deployment of a range of state-of-the-art surveillance technologies – thermal imagers, infrared and laser-based intruder alarms, aerostats for aerial surveillance, unattended ground sensors that can help detect intrusion bids, radars, sonar systems to secure riverine borders, fibre-optic sensors and a command and control system that shall receive data from all surveillance devices in real time.

However, as is usual in India, things proceeded at a snail’s pace. It was only after the Pathankot terrorist attack of January 2, 2016 – and a subsequent warning by the Punjab and Haryana High Court – that on January 29, 2016, the Home Secretary okayed CIBMS.

As of March 2019, two pilot projects covering about 71 km on the Pakistan border and 61 km on the Bangladesh border have been completed. Up next are Stage-II and Stage-III covering about 1,955 km of the border which cannot be physically fenced. These will target primarily the following areas:

Riverine, delta and estuary areas
Waterlogged and swampy areas
Creek areas
Plains vulnerable to heavy fog
Thickly populated locations on the border
Hilly regions
Tropical jungle
Deserts

According to the BSF’s Additional Director General A.K. Sharma, some of the world’s best technologies are being used to keep a watch on the country’s borders. “The CIBMS project can take six to seven years to complete. Under this project, a very strong technical mechanism is being put in place. This system will spot intruders if they try to enter our borders.”

Quick reaction is Critical

A key component of CIBMS is BOLD-QIT or Border Electronically Dominated QRT Interception Technique. BOLD-QIT is a project to install technical systems under the CIBMS which enables the BSF to equip the India-Bangladesh border with different kinds of sensors in the unfenced riverine area of the Brahmaputra and its tributaries.

In January 2018, the information and technology wing of BSF undertook BOLD-QIT and completed it in time with the technical support of various manufacturers and suppliers. Following the completion of the project, the entire Brahmaputra area has been covered with data networks generated by microwave communication, optical fibre cable, digital mobile radio communication, day-and-night surveillance cameras and also an intrusion detecting system.

These modern gadgets provide feeds to BSF control rooms on the border and enable the armed forces to quickly react to illegal cross bordering or crimes in the vicinity. The implementation of this project will also provide relief to the troops as they would not have to conduct round-the-clock physical surveillance.

Roads – the key to quick reaction

On the China border, the chief issue is Beijing’s salami slicing – grabbing land in small increments. For this to stop, India needs good quality asphalt roads that can be accessed by the army year-round. Unfortunately, despite the shock of the 1962 War, the political leadership continued to neglect the construction of roads in the Himalayas.

The convoluted reasoning was that not building roads in the Himalayas was advantageous to India because it would prevent the PLA from rolling into India. Clearly, such defeatist thinking did not prevent the Chinese from building roads right up to India’s borders in Tibet.

The good news is that the Narendra Modi government has been on a road-building spree in the entire Himalayan region which will allow the army to rush large numbers of troops to the sectors where they are needed. The bonus is that these roads will also promote domestic tourism.

Holistic approach needed

Before India splurges tons of cash on high-tech solutions, there needs to be a reality check on the limits of technology. For instance, the US has experienced that despite using fancy technology, the flow of illegal immigrants continues. To be sure, the success of the Department of Homeland Security in preventing major terror attacks on American soil after 9/11 cannot be discounted.

However, while the big fish are being caught, the smaller ones – the average immigrant seeking jobs and a better life – continue to enter the US and stay there.

India could learn a lesson from the US and implement solutions that are likely to work rather than reinvent the wheel. While proceeding with CIBMS, the Ministry of Home Affairs must take a holistic approach to border management:

1. Create a nodal agency such as the American Department of Homeland Security to implement border control. This agency should be tasked with coordinating with the multiple central and state agencies dealing with the borders. In fact, the Task Force on Border Management has underlined the importance of institutionalising the arrangements for exchange of intelligence at various levels.

2. Laws pertaining to illegal migration should be strengthened. Illegal immigrants from Pakistan should be treated as terrorists and awarded the death penalty. These intruders must be tried in special ‘Border Courts’ and not given the opportunity to be freed by liberal judges with the anti-Indian NGOs offering the bail money.

3. Bangladeshi citizens should be offered visas to work in India for limited periods, say 3 or 5 years, and then return to their country. Their stay can be extended depending on their behaviour; but they have to leave permanently after 10 years. Several Western countries offer work visas to seasonal immigrants who return after the harvest season.

4. Village Volunteer Forces (VVF) should be created to assist the security forces in guarding the borders. This was one of the proposals of the Group of Ministers in their Report on Border Management of 2001. The VVF will act as the eyes and ears of the CBIM.

5. Educate the people of the country about the dangers of illegal immigration. The 2017 attack on a housewife in a Noida housing colony by a large mob of Bangladeshis is a pointer to how illegal immigrants are proving to be a major law and order issue in cities across the country. When people stop employing illegal Bangladeshis, the message will be heard back in Dhaka. (8)

6. Enact legislation that offering employment to illegal immigrants would be punishable by an automatic five-year sentence in prison.

Let the human rights groups and NGOs complain. Such measures – and more draconian ones – are already in place in the West. In 2019, US immigration authorities separated more than 5,400 children from their parents at the Mexico border. This move was bitterly criticised by the liberal media but it stopped a second wave of immigrants from flooding into the country. (9) When Western governments and their liberal sepoys in India say whatever they want, they have no ground to stand on. Securing the frontiers is a moral duty because once the frontline falls, it does not take long for the centre to fold.

‘Hindu terror’ part of Pak GHQ campaign against India

Madhav Nalapat

April 23, 2016,

The $15 billion narcotics lobby in India was used by GHQ Rawalpindi to promote the concept of “Hindu terror”, sources close to that establishment aver. They say that “manufactured evidence was planted about such groups that were accepted at face value by Indian investigators at the time”. The effort to create the bogey of “Hindu terror” was to “provide a camouflage net for the activities of domestic terror groups owing allegiance to the ISI and also to make Muslims distrust Hindus”. Another objective was to make other countries “as suspicious of Indians as they were of Pakistanis”.

However, creating the bogey of “Hindu terror” was only Strand 1 in the design of GHQ to “make the international community regard India and Pakistan as birds of a feather in matters of extremism and terror”.

Strand 2 was to “sow suspicion and mistrust about Delhi in Tehran and Kabul”. It will be remembered that cooperation between the security establishments of Iran, Afghanistan and India is vital in order to defeat the designs of the ISI and its proxies against the three countries.

Strand 3 was to show to China that “India was facilitating acts of terror against Chinese nationals operating in Pakistan”, thereby passing the blame for such actions from the security establishment in Pakistan, which is honeycombed with ultra-Wahhabis who believe in the establishment of an ISIS Caliphate across the subcontinent.

Strand 4 was to ensure that the international community equates India with Pakistan as countries that sponsor terror, extremist and insurgent groups, thereby preventing India from leveraging the international community against Pakistan.

These sources claim that “under the direction of Chief of Army Staff Raheel Sharif, all four strands are proceeding well”, even though Strand 1 (Hindu terror) appears to have hit rough weather with revelations of the flimsy nature of the charges against the alleged “Hindu terror” perpetrators.

Establishment sources claim that General Raheel Sharif is working on “reversing the global perception that India is the victim and Pakistan the aggressor in the matter of fomenting terror and unrest”. This is being done by “getting India and Pakistan equated in the matter”. “This strategy (of painting India in the same colours as Pakistan was globally regarded) was worked on (by General Sharif) during his time heading the Pakistan military academy around a decade back”.

General Sharif, according to these contacts, “asked for and got set up a special cell which collected information on Narendra Modi while he was Chief Minister in Gujarat”, as the present Prime Minister of India was identified as the likely successor to Manmohan Singh in 2014, in 2011 itself by the GHQ brains trust. It will be recalled that the ISI, which functions as per the direction of GHQ, expended considerable effort in seeking to damage the image of Narendra Modi in London, New York and Geneva through the instrumentality of NGOs set up for the purpose of blackening the global image of India, including Khalistan groups that have recently become hyper-active after years of relative somnolence. These NGOs were also given significant traction in Washington and other capitals through “logistical support” by individuals linked to the ISI.

Sources within Pakistan claim that Kulbushan Yadav, accused by GHQ of being an R&AW agent, will only be the first in a long chain of those who are to be paraded globally as evidence that India is involved in destabilisation operations in Pakistan, “especially in seeking to do a Bangladesh in Balochistan and even in assisting terror groups active against the Pakistan state”. They say that nine individuals are now in the custody of the security agencies in Pakistan and they are being coached to come out with stories of Indian involvement, not only in Pakistan but in Iran and Afghanistan as well. They say that in the case of Kulbushan Yadav, “General Sharif personally briefed the Chinese that the Indian national was involved in seeking to blow up a lodge in Gwadar where Chinese technicians were staying and also seek to commit other acts of sabotage along the $45 billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor”. The Ashraf Ghani government in Afghanistan “has been given dossiers (which purport to show) that India is keeping contact with and assisting elements of the Taliban, contrary to stated policy”, while Iran “has been given dossiers about Yadav using the territory of that country to assist the Baloch not only in Pakistan but in Iran as well”. Soon, “other (so-called) Indian agents will be outed and made to tell how they were active not only against Pakistan, but against China, Afghanistan and Iran as well”.

The sources say that “by 2019, when the present term of Prime Minister Modi ends, the objective is to paint Delhi as South Asia’s leading state sponsor of terrorism and insurgency, far ahead of Rawalpindi on both counts”. Indeed, Pakistan Foreign Affairs Advisor Sartaj Aziz has publicly called India a “state sponsor of intervention”, including in giving support to terror groups. It is extremely unlikely that any of the unfortunates apprehended by the ISI is a genuine agent, as sources in Pakistan admit that “even the most elementary precautions (such as dead drops, cut-outs and personal meetings) were dispensed with in their operations”. However, the Pakistan side claims that such lack of precautions on the part of the supposed agents was motivated by “a desire for quick results as well as over-confidence”.

Already, Islamabad has briefed ASEAN as well as GCC envoys about manufactured claims of “Indian interference and support to terror”, and after more so-called Indian agents get paraded, more such briefings are likely. In short, Pakistan is following to the letter the rulebook followed by India in the past while exposing the activities of GHQ.

There has also been a ramping up of efforts to ensure a drumbeat of terror strikes in India during the coming two years, which are seen as crucial for the Modi government as it enters 2019, when Lok Sabha elections take place. No less than 13 suicide attacks have taken place in Kashmir since Modi became PM, and an organised effort is on to re-ignite insurgency in the Valley.

Simultaneously, “clusters of Indian nationals are being organised in India and in other locations and given directions on what is needed to get done to poison communal relations in India”. It needs to be kept in mind that the ISI recruits from all communities for its activities in India, rather than just a single community. Indeed. “in Nepal, almost all the key ISI facilitators are Hindu”, many involved in the hawala trade, which, together with narcotics, is controlled in South Asia by the ISI.

GHQ is looking warily at Prime Minister Modi’s innovative approach towards diplomacy, and to his outreach towards Pakistan, China and the US. The nightmare scenario for the generals would be a closer military partnership with the US (through the signing of the three Foundation Accords) and ultimately a trillion-dollar commercial partnership with China, beginning with an India-China Economic Corridor that would cut through the Maoist belt across India with roadways and growth opportunities. Fortunately for GHQ, elements in the Indian strategic and security establishment remain wedded to the hyper-cautious approach of the past, and regard with disfavour the breakthrough in India-US and India-China relations that could take place before 2019, in case Prime Minister Modi is able to ensure that “naya soch” enters a system clogged with debris from the past. What is clear is that there is an organised effort by GHQ to blacken the international image of India, and that this is a process in which General Sharif has registered some success. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has lost much ground to the Chief of Army Staff, in large part because the US and China both favour the military rather than the civilian leadership, unlike India.

The “masterstroke” being planned by GHQ, according to sources close to the establishment, is to pin the blame for the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on India before 2019, thereby “further planting suspicions about India within the international community”. The coming years will show whether General Sharif will succeed or fail in his efforts at separating the US, Iran, Afghanistan and China from India through allegations that are a mirror image of the charges made against Pakistan by successive governments in Delhi.

L&O aspects during the COVID-19 Virus threat and lock down.

Thousands of migrant labourers stage protest on road in Payippad near Changanassery (Kerala).
This was the first event which actually caught the police by surprise. The migrant labourers were instigated by certain backroom players and the police has pretty much accepted the role of certain terror outfits operating in the country. May be it is 'secularism' which is forcing the police to hide the name of the organisation. One migrant labour gang leader has already been taken to custody and the police has found details of the group behind this mass protest.

After Payippad, migrant workers in Perumbavoor (Kerala) stage protest.
And now at another neighbouring place the migrant labourers again gang up and start protesting. The excuse this time is food quality and quantity. What should get the agencies alarmed would be the simple fact that these so called illiterate, poor (!?) labourers all can be summonned to protests in a few hours through social media etc. Kerala has been not serious about having detailed records of the migrant population. The fact that many Keralites themselves worked as migrant labour in the Middle East some times gives these folks undue sympathy.

Looks like along with the scare of COVID-19 Virus; the state and central governments also would have to put more efforts on curbing Islamic terror outfits. They have now openly started showing their cards (and strategies), and there is no point in ignoring the elephant in the room. It should perhaps be a good thing that states like Kerala has become the experimental lab for the Islamic terror outfits.

May I posit a view? Modi and co are very wary of publicity seeking loudmouths who are bereft of an actual desire to serve the nation and guys like Iyerval are hence thoroughly out of the decision making circle, hence the frustration.

I see a lot of folks like this. They don't want to serve for service's sake - which many of us would gladly do - credit etc is secondary. Its a privilege to be able to help your people, your country.

These people want credit, want fame, want to tom-tom their importance. Hence when they don't get it, this is the result.

LeT module busted in J&K; 4 terrorists, 3 terror associates held
In a major boost to anti-terror activities in Jammu and Kashmir, the state police have busted a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror module in Handwara. Four terrorists and their 3 associates were arrested with a huge cache of arms and ammunition on the night of April 2. Several raids were conducted in the area to nab the terrorists after police came to know that they are supplying arms and ammunition to valley youth. The cache of arms recovered from terrorists includes several AK-47 rifles, grenades and magazines.

Virulent Legacy: The Breaking India Followers of Hazrat Nizamuddin

our urban naxals, the BIF, commies, desert cults and kafir inspired sickular purveyors of a perverted "syncretic" ganga jamuni tehzeeb without the least understanding of the civilization wound and the hoax perpetrated by this loathsome concept are historically ignorant or most likely, in direct cahoots with these forces.

the "poetry" of amir khasrau is a prime example of the cultural orgasms that these ignoramuses get high on while organizing "lit festivals".

Virulent Legacy: The Breaking India Followers of Hazrat Nizamuddin

The Tablighi Jamaat’s deep-rooted fanaticism and hatred for kafirs (non-Muslims) can be traced to its origins as an offshoot of the radical Deobandi movement.

Rakesh Krishnan Simha @ByRakeshSimha
03-04-2020

The Tablighi Jamaat’s mission is to spread Islam around the world but right now it is vying with China to become the biggest super-spreader of Coronavirus. At least 10 deaths and over 300 hospitalisations are being linked to the Jamaat’s congregation at its headquarters in Delhi’s Nizamuddin Markaz Masjid or Banglewali Masjid, which has become one of the 10 Coronavirus “hotspots” in the country (1). These numbers are likely to go up as more than 8,000 Jamaat members had congregated at the dargah (tomb), and the number of people they came in contact with could be in the tens of thousands.

Forget shame or regret at having flouted government orders against large gatherings during a pandemic, the members of the Tablighi Jamaat spat out of the windows of the bus that was taking them to a quarantine centre. They threw tantrums, made unreasonable demand for food items, abused officials and spat at doctors and staff in the centre (2).

When not engaged in bio-jehad, the Tablighi Jamaat has been linked to a string of terror organisations, including the Harkatul Ansar, Harkatul Mujahideen, Jaish-e-Mohammad, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan and the Taliban. People associated with the Jamaat have been linked to terrorist incidents like the San Bernardino massacre by a Pakistani husband and wife team (3).

US officials say that the cult, with 50,000 members, is rife with jehadis, and jehadi groomers are recruiting at mosques in at least ten American states. “We have a significant presence of Tablighi Jamaat in the United States, and we have found that al-Qaeda used them for recruiting,” says the FBI (4).

Origins of Fanaticism

The Tablighi Jamaat’s contempt for healthcare staff, police and the government is owing to the fact that the movement does not consider individual states to be legitimate. According to the French Tablighi expert Marc Gaborieau, its ultimate objective is nothing short of a “planned conquest of the world” in the spirit of jehad (5).

The Tablighi Jamaat’s deep-rooted fanaticism and hatred for kafirs (non-Muslims) can be traced to its origins as an offshoot of the radical Deobandi movement. The cult was established in 1927 by Muhammad Ilyas al-Kandhlawi in Mewat near Delhi. Ilyas’ followers were intolerant of other Muslims, especially Shi’ites, let alone adherents of other faiths. Part of Ilyas’s impetus for founding the Jamaat was to counter the inroads being made by Hindu missionaries who were successful in bringing many neo-Muslims back to the Hindu fold. Syed Muhammad Mian, a writer of the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam, writes that as a result of this initiative, more than 11,000 Hindus re-converted to Islam.

One needs to get into the DNA of the cult to understand its mentality. The Nizamuddin mosque and dargah are both named after Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya (1238-1325), a Sunni Muslim scholar and Sufi saint of the Chishti Order. The Tablighi Jamaat’s choice to establish itself in Nizamuddin in the 1930s was motivated by proximity to the dargah and its magnetic draw on Muslim communities across India. Scott Kugle and Bruce Lawrence suggest that Tablighis treat the constant flow of visitors produced by the dargah as a means to spread a conservative message (6).

Face of the Sufi Islamist

Leftists and seculars, who in their little heads imagine that Sufis were gentle, long-haired mystics who smoked weed and danced away the night, should know what Nizamuddin Auliya felt about people like them. Toeing the orthodox line, he condemned the Hindus to the fire of hell, saying: “The unbelievers at the time of death will experience punishment. At that moment, they will profess belief (Islam) but it will not be reckoned to them as belief because it will not be faith in the Unseen… the faith of (an) unbeliever at death remains unacceptable.” (7)

Auliya asserted that, “On the day of Resurrection, when unbelievers will face punishment and affliction, they will embrace faith but faith will not benefit them… They will also go to Hell despite the fact that they will go there as believers.” (8)

In his khutba (sermon), Auliya condemned the infidels as wicked, saying, “He (Allah) has created Paradise and Hell for believers and the infidels (respectively) in order to repay the wicked for what they have done.” (9)

During the reign of the cruel and barbaric Sultan Alauddin Khilji, when Qazi Mughisuddin inquired about the prospect of victory in the jehad launched against Hindu kingdoms in South India under the command of Malik Kafur, Auliya uttered in effusive confidence: “What is this victory? I am waiting for further victories.” (10)

Auliya used to accept large gifts sent by Sultan Alauddin from the spoils plundered in jehad expeditions and proudly displayed those at his khanqah (lodge).

The Ganga-Jumna syncretism that low IQ seculars talk about happened only in their dreams. By the mid-13th century when Nizamuddin Auliya settled in Delhi, the seat of Islamic power in India, Sufism had been purged of its mystical and tolerant aspects. Influenced by the unorthodox, controversial doctrines and practices of the famous Arab-Spanish Sufi ideologue Ibn Arabi (d. 1240), Auliya always put the ulema (clergy) as supreme in religious matters. To the question of whether dancing and playing of musical instruments, as had been adopted by Sufi dervishes, were permissible, he said, “What is forbidden by Law (Sharia) is not acceptable.”

On the question of whether the controversial Sufi devotional practices were permissible or not, he said, ‘‘Concerning this controversy at present, whatever the judge (orthodox Ulema) decrees will be upheld.” The Sufis of India had no contradiction with the ulema; both had a common goal – the interest of Islam, but to be achieved through different methods. Auliya used to say, “What the Ulema seeks to achieve through speech, we achieve by our behavior.” (11)

Nizamuddin’s Bigoted Successor

Amir Khasrau (1253–1325), Shaykh Nizamuddin Auliya’s exalted disciple, is lauded as the greatest liberal Sufi poet of medieval India. Auliya gave him the title of Turkullah (The Turk or Soldier of God). Regarded as one of India’s greatest Muslim poets, he is credited with being a great contributor to Indian classical music and the creator of qawwali (Sufi devotional music). There is little doubt about Amir Khasrau’s achievements in music and poetry, but according to historian M.A. Khan, “When it came to the fallen infidels and their religion, his bigoted Islamic zeal was very much evident. In describing Muslim victories against the Hindu kings, he mocks their religious traditions such as tree and stone-idol worship. (12)

Mocking the stone-idols destroyed by Muslim warriors, he wrote: “Praise be to God for his exaltation of the religion of Muhammad. It is not to be doubted that stones are worshipped by the Gabrs (derogatory slang for idolaters), but as stones did no service to them, they only bore to heaven the futility of that worship.” (13)

Amir Khasrau showed delight in describing the barbaric slaughter of Hindu captives by Muslim warriors. Describing Khizr Khan’s order to massacre 30,000 Hindus in the conquest of Chittor in 1303, he gloated: “Praise be to God! That he so ordered the massacre of all chiefs of Hind out of the pale of Islam, by his infidel-smiting swords… in the name of this Khalifa of God, that heterodoxy has no rights (in India).” (14)

He took poetic delight in describing Malik Kafur’s destruction of a famous Hindu temple in South India and the grisly slaughter of the Hindus and their priests therein. In describing the slaughter, he wrote, “…the heads of Brahmans and idolaters danced from their necks and fell to the ground at their feet, and blood flowed in torrents.” (15)

About the miserable subjugation of Hindus and the barbarous triumph of Islam in India, he wrote: “The whole country, by means of the sword of our holy warriors, has become like a forest denuded of its thorns by fire? Islam is triumphant, idolatry is subdued. Had not the Law granted exemption from death by the payment of poll-tax, the very name of Hind, root and branch, would have been extinguished (16).

Amir Khasrau described many instances of barbaric cruelty, often of catastrophic proportions, inflicted by Muslim conquerors upon the Hindus. Nowhere did he show any sign of grief or remorse, only gloating delight. While describing those acts of barbarism, he invariably expressed gratitude to Allah and glory to Muhammad for enabling the Muslim warriors achieve those glorious feats (17).

Another disciple, Nasiruddin Mahmud Chirag-Dehlavi (1274–1337), purged and purified deviant aspects of the Sufi practices. According to professor K.A. Nizami, he prohibited all deviant (from Sharia) rituals and practices that had entered the Sufi community, saying, ‘‘Whatever Allah and his prophet have ordered, do it, and whatever Allah and his prophet have forbidden you against, you should not do.’’ Nizami adds: “He brought Sufi institution in harmony with Sunnah. Wherever there was a slightest clash, he proclaimed the supremacy of the Sharia Laws.” (18)

Conclusion

It is clear that as against the original spiritual mission of Sufism, the cult was primarily introduced in India for the spread of Islam with a view to help the Muslim rulers for political domination. According to Arshad Javed Rizvi of the Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi, “By and large the spiritual successors of mystic Islamic saints enjoyed the royal favor of Muslim rulers and gave moral support to the Muslim invaders. They also guided the state in political affairs with their experience of regular interaction with the common people.” (19)

The Tablighi Jamaat is also a cult which pretends to be peaceful while its real agenda is jehad. In view of the radical DNA of their muse Nizamuddin Auliya, the increasing radicalisation of the Jamaat’s rank and file is only to be expected. It is now a driving force of Islamic extremism and a major recruiting agency for terrorist causes worldwide. For a majority of young Muslim extremists, joining the movement is often the first step on the road to extremism. Perhaps 80 percent of the Islamist extremists in France come from Tablighi ranks, prompting French intelligence officers to call it the “antechamber of fundamentalism”. (20)

Across the western border, the movement has gained a strong foothold in the echelons of power. According to the Islamabad-based Pak Institute for Peace Studies, “The Tablighi Jamaat has, undoubtedly, penetrated deep into South Asian Muslim societies, impressing people from all walks of life including rulers, civil and military bureaucracy, businessmen, sportsmen and even members of the showbiz community.” (21)

If not cut down to size, it won’t be long before the various branches of the Tablighi Jamaat in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh are emboldened to link up to make a grab for the big prize – the Islamic conquest of India.

As the TJ stuff unravels- I tried to answer some questions I have not thought about before. Please correct me if I am wrong

1. There is no religious visa category at all to enter India.

While TJ roots are in India and Pakistan, there 100 million or more followers around the world. There seems to be a missionary visa that seems to be on a reciprocal basis with US only(?) If these guys come in and out on a tourist visa which is not in specific terms we have no idea where they are or what they do?

- We have seen NGOs and their dubious sources of money . Can we not start a Religion based visa that tracks better. Please check khan land religious worker visa requirements for reference.

2. There is no contact/financial requirement for these "tourists"? When they choose to show up for the Malaysian airlines evacuation flight they are well aware and technology is not taboo. Other times they are cut off from the world so they did not respond to state leaders and health associations begging them to come forward?

Why are we wasting our resources on these foreigners? We should be using their funds, insurance claims etc . They want beedis to be given to them - present them a bill that will make them cry after debiting it from their account.

3. Conveniently TJ wikipedia says there is no membership for anyone. So they can feign any knowledge. Just on this principle, no one from TJ should enter the country. No other developed country would let anyone in when their organization does not have any written record!

4. Tablighis do not solicit donations and is supposed to self fund: Where are their funds coming from? One view is that they are the poorest, another view is that they are a branch of deobandis, who are wahhabis who are well funded. What is the truth?

No. Two different incidents and 8 in total. We lost 5 commandos from 4 PARA in one and 3 from regular IA in another. This was likely an ambush. It is tragic and unfortunate that we lose highly trained commandos to madras chaap cannon fodder, but such is the brutal reality of an asymmetric war.

We lost 5 para SF commandos. The confusion is because two had died on the spot and 3 died later in the hospital. There was no other loss of precious Indian soldiers.
