Guys are you following the police charge sheets in the Delhi riots case?

As in every case, the response to Delhi police are along familiar lines. The Lutyen/Pappu BIF gang have declared the whole thing as a sham. Political vendetta targeting anti-govt, anti-CAA protesters and activists etc.

Lost in their cacophony is that when it comes to the riots itself, there are charge sheets against both Muslim and Hindus rioters, almost in equal numbers. The BIF priks ignore this. But well done Delhi police.

Now the conspiracy part. One doesn't have to be a Ph.D in criminal law, but just a cursory examination of the time line leading up to the riots should make one suspect that BIF gang was panning something in the run up to Trump's visit. All the incendiary speeches, the shaheen bagh scam etc was a time bomb waiting to explode. And Delhi police uncovered this conspiracy through material, scientific evidence: whatsapp messages, call records etc. And the key conspirators were booked. Now its up to the courts. Once again, well done Delhi police.

All of the above doesn't suit the BIF gangsters. What they want is the head of Kapil Misra who made that speech saying that if the anti-CAA protesters blocking roads don't clear up, after Trump's visit, he will take matters into his own hands. He certainly shouldn't have said this last part, but he did.

Now here is the kicker. At worst, I would say Kapil Misra's speech was hyperbolic, and in any case, there is a case against him in the courts. If Kapil Misra is to be booked, then I would say Harsh Mader should be booked for the speecges he made. And so should all the BIF twits like Rana Ayyub, ADhothi, Burka Bibi etc. They also made provocative speeches and statements.

But the BIF are making a direct causal connection between his speech and the riots. They are obsessed with it. They have even cemented their narrative at the international level, so much so, that Facebook CEO seems to have quoted Kapil Misra's speech as calling for violence.

But if you examine the issue closely, as I said, all that one can say about Kapil Misra's speech is that it was hyperbolic and provocative. I would also agree that it in a volatile situation that prevailed at that time, it crossed the bounds of free speech. But there is absolutely no evidence that I can see that links him to the riots, except that chutiyas like Sreenivasan Jain & Co pedantically argue that within hours of his speech the riots started.

It will be a travesty of justice and appeasement of the highest order if the Delhi police or govt or courts cave in to the pressure from BIF and charge sheet Kapil Misra. I am convinced he had absolutely nothing to do with the riots.

The BIF caught with their undies down are just crying hoarse to discredit their culpability.

Can't we get around this thing with something like "only major religious communities under 1% of the population are allowed such nataks"? "Major religious communities" would also take care incase they decide to try such shenanigans citing different factios under the same desert cult. But I guess for now we have bigger things to worry about so this'll just have to wait till it becomes unmanageable.

Just had a cursory look at the verdict. From what I could understand the verdict has NOT denied the right of Paris to form societies, and have bye-laws which has requirements like the members have to be Parsis. And the same right to form societies is available for others as well (including Hindus).

If Hindus would want to adopt to such measures, I think it is doable in if there is some strong advice on the legal frame work. The crux seems to be on the forming of a society (which can have a common goal), and then having bye-laws especially on membership. And the major activities on building things are done by the society (and not individuals). In Kerala, I know at least two such societies (by Hindus, predominantly veggies) formed in a similar manner with only members from one group staying in the apartment. The said community also have lots of commies who are willing to self distruct to impress the "seculars" but they have not been able to do much against these two societies.

Ghettos spread out horizontally or concentrated vertically are a bad thing. They become islands where information distortion will invariably breed communalism. There are suburbs of Paris and Brussels which were left to ghettoise like this and law enforcement agencies would no longer date to enter. We all know what kind of terrorist scum they have bred.

The Govt should fight this directly and openly.

No matter what crimes they are accused of, they have a right to adequate medical treatment in accordance with expert medical advice, and there should be no controversy around that.

there is only the jail manual and that covers all such contingencies.

this insect is not the first pregnant person to be jailed and nor will this person be the last.

there is nothing in the jail manual that differentiates "us" from "them".

the law is equal for all, fair and settled. It does not cater to some entitled woke classes.

one of rajiv gandhi's assassins nalini was pregnant when she was jailed and subsequently gave birth in jail.

one wonders as to why such a stupid query was never raised then.

there are plenty of others doing precisely just that. It is also the law.

and then there is this issue of "what differentiates "us" from "them".

prithviraj chauhan did pay unnecessary heed to just that oversold sentiment and he singlehandedly changed the course of the entire subcontinent, not to mention the civilization that he harmed in his "dharmic" zeal.

simply, just do unto others as they do unto you.

and we need to internalize this universal truth as below, applicable since times immemorial and enunciated so very clearly for our times:

Square box. Round pizza. Triangle slices.

Indian presstitutes are sadak chaap.

china would need to spend only a few lakhs to buy them off.

Washington Post, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, major US papers received millions to run Chinese propaganda: Reports

China Daily, a propaganda outlet of the Chinese government, has reportedly paid $19 million to American newspapers in advertisement and printing charges in the past 4 years. The story came to light, amidst growing concerns about US dailies giving intellectual cover fire to Beijing.

As per the documents filed by China Daily with the Justice Department, the Communist party mouthpiece had paid over $6 million to the Wall Street Journal (WSJ), $4.6 million to the Washington Post, $2,40,000 to Foreign Policy, $50,000 to the New York Times, $34,600 to The Des Moines Register and $76,000 to CQ-Roll Call.

Besides, spending $11 million in advertising on prominent US papers, China Daily shelled out an additional $7.6 million to The Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, The Seattle Times, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Houston Chronicle, and The Boston Globe for printing copies of its own paper. For instance, the Los Angeles Times reportedly received $657,523 for printing services. The Communist party-mouthpiece had also spent $2,65,822 on advertising on Twitter.

US Newspapers push Chinese propaganda
As a part of its extensive media campaign to alter the global perception and silence the critics of the Communist Party of China (CCP), the State media has been covertly promoting its stories in foreign newspapers. In September 2018, US President Donald Trump questioned how China placed ‘propaganda ads’ in Des Moines Register and other US-based papers such that it resembled ‘real news.’ Reportedly, both Washington Post and the Wall Street Journal carried ‘paid supplements’ of China Daily titled China Watch.

Horrendous. This is getting out of hand.

However the article also says there is a commitment to rebuild it.

On a good note, the last paragraph of the article says the other recent incident (frockwallahs objecting to Bharat Mata statue) has been resolved after BJP/RSS protests and a goremint order.

So dynastic trash does not want a bridge to be named after Savarkar? Here is what it has done to Delhi. Some will find it familiar.

Going from Rajghat to the airport in Delhi? That’s easy.

Having ruminated over the havoc one rogue sperm can cause after seeing the samadhis of Nehru, Indira, Rajiv and Sanjay Gandhi, you could walk across to Gandhi Samarak Nidhi five minutes away. Once u exit u are on a Jawaharlal Nehru Road. Head southwards. If after 5 minutes you find the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium to your left, you will know you are on the right path.

Turn right and head westwards. Avoid Rajiv Chowk; it may be too crowded. Turn left and find yourself in Lutyen’s Delhi; enjoy the drive. After crossing Sonia Gandhi’s house, hit Moti Lal Nehru Marg with Rahul Gandhi’s house to the left. From there to Indira Gandhi Smark is the matter of a couple of minutes.

Keep driving westwards past Nehru Museum at Teen Murthi House, Nehru Library, Nehru Planetarium and Nehru Yuvak Kendra. Drive around the Nehru Park and Nehru Rose Garden and turn right. Its more or less a straight road now till you hit Indira Gandhi Road and finally the Indira Gandhi Airport.

Should you find this route too old-world Lutyens there is an option. Don’t turn right after Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, keep going straight till you hit the Nehru Stadium, turn right, cross the Indira Gandhi Paryavaran House and Rajiv Gandhi Aviation Museum. Continue going south, avoid the crowded Nehru Lane to your left and Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital to your right. Turn right at the Nehru University. Keep headed west till you hit the Indira Gandhi Road which leads to the Indira Gandhi Airport.

If you have time and are in the mood to see real Delhi, take a short detour after Nehru Stadium and check out the chaos of Nehru Place, turn right and go past Nehru Apartments to your left. But avoid the temptation of checking out the Indira Gandhi Open University though its only a hop, step and jump from Nehru Place cos the area is far too crowded and u may miss ur flight.

Google is designed by humans after all and can sometimes get confused with too many Nehrus and Gandhis. If you find yourself facing a board that says Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar, Sanjay Gandhi Hospital or Sonia Vihar, know ye, that you have made a mistake and have definitely missed your flight.

Sit back in your car and curse the family which didn’t know when to stop.

Economic Strangulation: How India’s Modified Strategy Is Sinking Pakistan

Rakesh Krishnan Simha@ByRakeshSimha

| 13-06-2020 |

In July 2016 Pakistan was declared one of the best performing economies in Asia. Bloomberg termed the Pakistan Stock Exchange the best of the Asian markets in a report stating that it had regained ‘tiger’ status in the region. (1) According to the report, the inclusion of Pakistan in countries with Emerging Markets status would lead to a flood of foreign investment. Media reports described Pakistan was surfacing as a “market leader”. (2) Leftists and seculars in the Indian media cheered for the Islamic Republic and took digs at their own country. “Move over, India. Pakistan is the hottest equity market in South Asia,” squealed Quartz India. (3)

Famous last words. The rosy outlook has since turned gloomy in 2020 with Pakistan witnessing the highest inflation rate in the world, putting immense pressure on this dirt poor country of 212 million people. The same Bloomberg which had heralded the emergence of Pakistan, now admits it has the worst performing currency in Asia. (4) With the Pakistan government’s own Economic Survey (5) painting a dismal picture of the domestic economy, all signs are that Terroristan is sinking.

Nothing Islamabad is doing seems to work. In order to cool down the inflationary pressure, the country’s central bank recently hiked interest rates. The move backfired as it not only increased inflation further, but also killed industrial growth and services because the private sector stopped borrowing costly money.

How did this almost Asian tiger become the nearly failed state? The dream run of the Pakistani economy ended soon after Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister. It is now a nightmare. Here’s how it panned out.

Death by Demonetisation

In November 2016, Modi unleashed demonetisation, dismantling the fake Indian currency business that was based out of Pakistan and which financed the Pakistani economy plus its vast terrorism industry. (6) In fact, the fake Indian currency business is so critical to the Pakistani economy that the capacity of the currency printing presses in Karachi and Peshawar was more than the installed capacity of the RBI’s Mudran Press in Mysore or the Bank Note Press, Nashik. (7)

Indian Water Torture

In 2017, Pakistani farmers in the border areas started experiencing crop failures as India choked their water supply. (8) For decades the Pakistani farmers had been taking advantage of a leak in the Indira Gandhi Canal in Rajasthan’s Sri Ganganagar district, which allowed them to grow a variety of crops.

The leak, which was detected along a 15 km stretch of the canal in the Daulatpura area of Sri Ganganagar, was plugged only in 2015, a few months after Modi’s arrival. The government conducted a test in 2017 and declared that the Pakistani farmers were no longer getting the free ‘water supply’ from India. The impact on the weak Pakistan economy must be considerable as the areas bordering India are mostly barren desert. Without water from India, nothing can grow there.

More pain is coming. In 2018 India declared it would fast-track three projects, including construction of two dams, to arrest the unutilised water of its share under the Indus Waters Treaty. This alone would kill an entire sowing season in Pakistan in the years ahead. It’s incredible that while 300 million Indians are facing a water crisis, it has taken the political leadership 60 years to take this step.

Trade Wars

The cancellation of MFN (most favoured nation) status to Pakistan and the closure of trade routes following the Pulwama terror attack in February 2019 have resulted in losses of billions of dollars and hundreds of job days. After Pulwama, the Modi government has made efforts to cripple the Pakistani economy by increasing duties on essential products. Pakistan’s primary exports to India were fresh fruits, cement, petroleum products, bulk minerals and ores and finished leather. The 200 per cent duty increase on imports from Pakistan has ensured this trade is now history. With Pakistan no longer able to import cotton from India, its textile industry has taken a hit. It is now sourcing pricier supplies from the US, Australia and Egypt. (9)

In any trade it is the weaker country that gets bruised. Pakistan does not feature among India’s top 35 exporters and importers. On the other hand, India stands at the seventh place in Pakistan’s list of top 10 countries from where it imports. (10)

However, it was the strike by 12 Indian Air Force fighter jets on Balakote, deep in Pakistani territory, that caused lasting damage. Unable to detect IAF aircraft in the radar clutter, Pakistan closed its airspace for weeks, leading to heavy losses. An extensive study of operations by Pakistani and foreign carriers between February and late June showed that 400 flights a day were impacted by the closure, resulting in a loss of $100 million (Rs 688 crore) for Islamabad. State-run Pakistan International Airlines suffered losses to the tune of $460,000 a day due to suspension of flights to international destinations such as Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Delhi. (11)

Widening Gulf

The Gulf states used to be Pakistan’s primary – albeit grudging – benefactors. The reason was that in most of these emirates, the sheikhs don’t trust their own people with defence and security. Saudi Arabia, for instance, used to hire Pakistan Air Force pilots to man the Royal Saudi Air Force. Pakistan Army soldiers and officers were stationed in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. However, in view of the increasing radicalisation of the Pakistan military, there is growing fear among Gulf leaders that Pakistanis will infect Arab soldiers and citizens with the virus of jehad. Consequently, most of the Gulf states got rid of the Pakistanis in their defence and security establishments.

In 2016, the Saudi security forces foiled a terror plot in which two Pakistanis were held for plotting to explode Al-Jawhara Stadium in Jeddah where more than 60,000 spectators had gathered to watch a soccer match between the national teams of the Kingdom and the UAE. (12)

The following year, Saudi Arabia deported almost 40,000 Pakistanis on grounds of security, reflecting a hardening stance towards its traditional ally. (13) Kuwait, which used to be the most pro-Pakistani – and most anti-Indian – sheikdom in the Gulf, banned would-be immigrants from Pakistan from applying for visas.

These strong anti-Pakistani actions come in the backdrop of improving strategic ties between the sheikdoms and India. Modi has been awarded the highest civilian awards by both the UAE and Saudi Arabia, reflecting the high esteem he enjoys in the region. The $15 billion planned investment by Saudi Aramco in Reliance Industries is in no small measure due to India’s diplomatic push.

The quid pro quo for large-scale investment in India has to be a downgrading of ties with Pakistan. This is the reason why the Gulf states are drawing fewer workers from Pakistan, but more significantly they are less inclined to provide Pakistan with unlimited funds. However, they will drip feed Pakistan to keep it alive because don’t forget that Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal is paid for by Saudi Arabia. The Saudis are the real owners of the Islamic Bomb. (14)

With the Gulf states bearish on the Pakistani economy, investors from the West and Asia are also adopting a wait and watch policy.

Dangerous Place to Invest

Modi’s humiliation of Pakistan has played a key role in exposing the country’s standing as an exporter of terror. One must understand that for all their prosperity and advances in technology, most Westerners, and especially their politicians, are not very well informed. Also, don’t forget that even today they have an atavistic sympathy for Pakistan, which they know was created to serve Western interests against Russia.

It took very strong action by India to jostle the Westerners out of their complacency. The surgical strikes by the Indian Army in 2016 was the first punch in the guts that exposed Pakistan’s role in exporting terror. The IAF’s deep strike at a terrorist training factory in 2019 demonstrated to the world that Pakistan was undoubtedly a safe haven for terrorists.

Global investors are swayed by sentiments and India’s decisive actions have made them veer around to the view that Pakistan is a dangerous place to plonk down their cash in. Nobody likes to invest in dangerous places. If that wasn’t enough, Pakistani capital is also fleeing the country as the situation on the ground goes from bad to worse. This is why money is fleeing Pakistan like a bat out of hell.

Endgame

India has got its boot on Pakistan’s neck. So expect Islamabad to send peace feelers, which will be amplified by its useful idiots in India. These leftist journalists, seculars and the likes of former RBI governor Raghuram Rajan will write columns asking Modi to “give peace a chance”. They will launch into high-decibel debates on TV, saying ‘Gandhi’s India’ would not allow 200 million Pakistanis to suffer. A few low IQ Indians will start feeling sorry for the poor Pakistanis.

But taking off the boot at this stage would be a mistake. Pakistan is crumbling – just like the Soviet Union imploded due to Moscow’s foolhardy arms race with the US despite having half of America’s GDP. The Pakistan Army is making the same mistake – in the middle of the coronavirus lockdown when everyone in the world was taking a pay cut, the Pakistan Army demanded a 20 per cent increase in its budget. (15)

India should encourage Pakistan to increase defence spending by making aggressive moves along the border and the Line of Control. Regular intrusions by Indian fighter jets into Pakistani airspace interspersed with occasional surgical strikes by the Indian Army will spook the Pakistani establishment and unhinge their decision making capacity. They will make the same mistakes that the communists in Moscow made and brought down the mighty USSR. Pakistan is a paper tiger in comparison and will collapse more quickly. Now is the time to increase the pressure. Now is not the time to show the Prithviraj Syndrome of being magnanimous towards defeated enemies. For, only when Pakistan collapses and becomes four separate countries will India finally have peace on its western border.

Chetak, there is a bit of fake news on the Lakshmi Chand Jain episode. I recall Rajeev Manri did indeed tweet this, but promptly, Sreenivasa Jain threatbed to sue him, and Rajeev backed off. So why make an allegation and then humiliatingly back off. That puke Sreenvasan Jain had the last laugh.

But talking about Undy. I noticed from Mohan Das Pai's twitter line that Omar Abdullah's keep Nidhi Razdan and Undy anchoe has indeed confirmed that she will be an associate professor at Harvard. Now, I am sure at a personal level, this is good for her, but like I posted this a while back, some intriguing questions popped up in my mind and I responded to Pai's tweet

Wow, associate professor? Is this some kind of a sponsored position? I assume then that she has tenure? Also, I did not know she is actually Dr. Nidhi Razdan. Where did she get her Ph.D. degree in journalism from?

But talking about Undy. I noticed from Mohan Das Pai's twitter line that Omar Abdullah's keep Nidhi Razdan and Undy anchoe has indeed confirmed that she will be an associate professor at Harvard. Now, I am sure at a personal level, this is good for her, but like I posted this a while back, some intriguing questions popped up in my mind and I responded to Pai's tweet

Economic Strangulation: How India’s Modified Strategy Is Sinking Pakistan

Add to this -- Article 370 abolished and thus control over funds given to Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh. Where have all those lakhs of crores given to erstwhile J&K gone? Obviously siphoned off to NaPak or used to pay the local stonepelter or the terrorist.

^^A classic "chicken-and-egg" conundrum arises: do we first get back POK (thereby setting the dominos in motion to collapse Paa'stan) or do we first collapse Paa'stan by other means (thereby allowing a simple "walk-in" at POK)?

During the conversation with Satya, from Indu Makkal Katchi and Murlidharan S, freelance animal rights activists, some unsettling details came to light. They alleged that there is a nexus of so-called animal rights groups, missionaries and high-profile individuals operating in India that is trying to destroy the very fabric of Hinduism.

Sad fact is the BJP leader Menaka Gandhi and Lt Gov Kiran Bedi, another BJP appointee are responsible for not doing due diligence.

So, is Nidhi a millionaire? Or is somebody "sponsoring" her tenure? If yes, then who? What is the endgame of her having "teach" @ Harvard? Probably the immense value that she brings to the table is having personal experience of tabloid journalism @ the highest levels in desh (and all the baggage that comes along with it...like various high-level contacts & if possible, the skeletons with them). Else, I can't think what value she would bring to teach at Harvard. May be I am wrong here, but I don't think she is considered an extraordinaire in her field even in India. I'd imagine for any other mango adbul, to get to teach @ Harvard will need demanding education qualification & experience.
