Instead of this one off actions, GoI actually needs to pass laws to make many such things permanent.

Today India listed 9 designated terrorists under UAPA. These are all Sikhs, leaders of various Khalistani fronts. 4 from Pakistan, 2 each from UK and Germany and 1 from USA.

Expect India to ask for their hand over to face trials. Expect due action against their supporters and ecosystem in India and abroad as NIA given powers to investigate them.

Just as Chinese apps allowed themselves to become the tools in the hands of CCP and become the target of ban in India, US platforms like Twitter and Facebook are also slowly becoming tools at the hands of radical Left in Democratic Party and setting themselves up for failure

Modi’s Ban On Tik Tok And Other Chinese Apps Is A Warning To Facebook, Twitter, Et Al Too: Be Neutral And Don’t Play Politics. These hitherto neutral platforms are being increasingly taken over by the radical Leftists in America

Muslim groups urge KCR to scrap Narasimha Rao centenary events
Hyderabad,
July 1

An umbrella group of various Muslim organisations in Telangana has appealed to the state government to withdraw its decision to celebrate birth centenary celebrations of former Prime Minister P. V. Narasimha Rao, saying the move has hurt the sentiments of the Muslim community.

United Muslim Forum (UMF) said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao's move to organise year-long programmes to celebrate the centenary had hurt the sentiments of those sections of people who believe in secularism, and especially Muslims.

UMF is headed by Moulana Raheemduddin Ansari, who is the chairman of Telangana Urdu Academy, a government body.

undoubtedly, this is exactly what they have done in India, despite 1962, commie politicos, "socially committed" judiciary, termite babuz, our traitorous lootyens elites, urban naxal presstitutes, and sold out mercenary academics and naxal pasand GoI funded institutes of "learning" like JNU, jamia, jhadavpur univ et al have all become a cancerous body of India bashing, han loving fifth columnists actively pushing the cheeni agenda.

all these guys are guilty of undermining India and also surreptitiously enabling the Indian nation to sell the rope with which they will be hanged. The RGF scandal is to be seen in this light
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has for decades been covertly pushing its agenda in countries across the world through these nations’ own politicians, businessmen, academics and media. Some of them seem to have fallen for Chinese sweet talk; some appear to have had mercenary motives; others might have been repaying favours.

China’s covert strategy that the world ought to guard against

28 Jun 2020,
Sandipan Deb

Beijing’s secret moves to subvert nations from within may be as dangerous as its overt aggressions

The events in Ladakh have woken most Indians up to the real visage behind China’s inscrutable mask. But the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has for decades been covertly pushing its agenda in countries across the world through these nations’ own politicians, businessmen, academics and media. Some of them seem to have fallen for Chinese sweet talk; some appear to have had mercenary motives; others might have been repaying favours. I will limit myself to signs of Chinese influence in the West. I can’t say how far this strategy has succeeded in India.

The CCP does this work principally through three arms—the Propaganda Department; the International Liaison Department, formerly known as the Department of Enemy Work, which liaises with foreign politicians; and the United Front Work Department, which controls “front" entities—trade associations, interest groups and cultural bodies and so on. Elite individuals and organizations in foreign lands are classified as friend, enemy, or those in the middle who can be won over, after an examination of their past actions and affiliations, even psychological assessments. Strategies are then decided.

Former US President George H.W. Bush wrote in his memoir: “When (former China supremo) Deng (Xiaoping) called me a lao pengyou, an old friend of China, I felt the phrase was not just the usual flattery, but a recognition that I understood the importance of the US-China relationship and the need to keep it on track." Former Australian prime minister Paul Keating, now an adviser to the China Development Bank, has described human rights as “Western values" that do not apply in China, and has even called for the sacking of Australia’s intelligence chiefs for being “anti-China".

Western leaders hired as “advisers" or “consultants" by China include former US secretaries of state Henry Kissinger, Alexander Haig and Madeleine Albright, former national security advisers Brent Scowcroft and Sandy Berger, former secretary of defence William Cohen, and former US trade representative Carla Hills. David Cameron, former UK prime minister, heads the UK-China Fund, which seeks to invest $1 billion in Belt and Road Initiative projects.

When Hillary Clinton, secretary of state in president Barack Obama’s first term, took a tough stance on China’s aggressive moves in the South China Sea, vice-president (and now presidential candidate) Joe Biden is recorded to have urged restraint. During Obama’s second term, with Clinton gone, the US watched silently while China grabbed and even built islands and constructed military bases on them.

Several senior members of the Donald Trump administration have China connections, the most obvious being secretary of transportation Elaine Chao, daughter of Chinese-American businessman James Chao and wife of Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell. James, classmate of former Chinese president Jiang Zemin, is the founder of shipping and trading company Foremost Group. Most of its ships have been built by China State Shipbuilding Corporation and financed by Export-Import Bank of China.

China’s relationship with US high finance is fascinating. Consider just one Wall Street firm among the many with deep China connections—Goldman Sachs (GS). The investment bank was one of the early movers when China began opening up. To do business in China, guanxi is essential—strong relationships, which can involve moral obligations and exchanging favours. John Thornton was GS’ key China man.

By the time Thornton quit as co-president in 2003, GS had built deep guanxi with the CCP, and was doing roaring business. From GS, he moved to Tsinghua University in Beijing as the first full-time foreign professor since Mao Zedong seized power in 1949, and director of Tsinghua’s global leadership programme. He was also an adviser to China’s sovereign wealth fund. In 2008, he received the CCP’s highest award for foreigners, the Friendship Award. He was one of the architects of the US-China trade deal signed in January.

In 2006, Thornton’s former boss Henry Paulson became treasury secretary under George W. Bush, and guided the US’s China economic policy. It can be argued that Paulson should have been much tougher on Beijing’s currency manipulation, technology theft and mistreatment of US firms. But instead of retaliatory measures, he opted for “strategic dialogue", which suited China just fine. After leaving government, he set up the Paulson Institute, to foster “a US-China relationship that serves to maintain global order". He has lobbied hard against Trump’s trade war with China. Gary Cohn, another GS alumnus and former chief economic adviser in the Trump administration, has also been vocal.

These are just a few cases. China’s brazen attempts to bully neighbours, from India to Japan, are the easily visible part of its strategy to transform the world order. But a much more insidious part involves bending democracies to its will by eroding resistance, winning supporters and, to paraphrase Lenin, getting nations to sell the rope with which they will be hanged.

Rajkot Police have arrested two persons for desecrating a Nandi idol in a temple in Shapar Veraval industrial zone on Wednesday. Police have identified them as Jayesh Chudasma (27) and Dinesh Mahida (25), who work as laborers. They reportedly shot a video while kicking the idol, as they wanted to create “sensation” on the social media platforms.

Here is why and how the Supreme Court got convinced to modify its earlier order and allow Rath Yatra to be conducted in Puri
https://www.opindia.com/2020/07/what-co ... explainer/
From the actions of the Odisha Government, one could clearly make out that the State Government was apathetic to conduct the Rath Yatra at Puri this year. I list out three key reasons for it.
...
The State Government’s stand before the Supreme Court received widespread criticism. There was resentment all around.
...
The Gajapati Maharaj in a press conference stated that the State Government had bypassed the recommendations of the temple administration.
...

We now know, who on 18.06.2020, while the Supreme Court was willing to grant permission for conducting the Rath Yatra, had opposed it.

In this Part 1 of a 3-part series by PGurus, IRS officer Sanjay Kumar Srivastava details how he came to be involved with the activities of NDTV from 2005 onwards and how the then Finance Ministry, ensured that SKS would not get his promotion in 2007. Explaining the alleged bribe amount to the last paisa, SKS blows away the claims made by the Babus that he took any bribes. This series will give you a clue on why despite six years of the BJP coming to power, the Babus can put any number of road blocks; in the same breath, they can also work at the speed of light!

GOI is turning blind eye to US based SM companies. They will become more harmful in future. Even linkedin is exposed about the same thing tiktok did.

@DonCubed
LinkedIn is copying the contents of my clipboard every keystroke. IOS 14 allows users to see each paste notification.

I’m on an IPad Pro and it’s copying from the clipboard of my MacBook Pro.

Tik tok just got called out for this exact reason.

Again, on a lighter note, could be a signal that a smaller, yet smarter and fiercer force from the Swarajya had defeated a much bigger, richer, unscrupulous force. But then with Modi, you never know, it may not even be on a lighter note!

Pakistani Bollywood ‘event manager’ accused of terror links blacklisted by Home Ministry: Here are the details
https://www.opindia.com/2020/07/pakista ... india/amp/
G Kishan Reddy, Minister of State for Home Affairs, has issued a letter responding to a letter written by Shiv Sena member of Parliament Rahul Shewale regarding a Pakistan original Bollywood event manager. In the letter, G Kishan Reddy says that in reference to Shewale’s letter to the Prime Minister dated 17th February 2020, he got the issue examined and the Ministry of External Affairs has apprised that Rehan Siddiqui, Rakesh Kaushal and Darshan Mehta have been blacklisted on the recommendations of the Consulate General of India, Houston.

The issue surfaced earlier this year when the link between Rehan Siddiqui organising Bollywood events and funding of anti-India propaganda especially related Kashmir had surfaced.

In February, it was reported that Rehan Siddique was on the radar of Indian authorities after it was revealed that Siddique organises Bollywood events and the money raised from it is used to fund anti-India activities abroad, especially with a focus on Kashmir.

Rehan Siddique, who is a Pakistani but is based on Houston also owns a radio channel where he regularly espouses terrorist activity in Kashmir and India and spreads propaganda. Rehan Siddiqui had extensive experience in the music and radio industry and said to have organised more than 400 successful concerts with many of the biggest stars from South Asia and Bollywood.

“He owns a radio channel and brings Indian artistes to Houston for Bollywood concerts. He uses his radio channels as a platform to run anti-India propaganda,” a prominent member of the Indian community in Houston had said at the time.

Casual reminder about the obedient servant family.
Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s daughter Amrit Singh works for George Soros’ Open Society Justice Initiative
https://www.opindia.com/2020/07/amrit-s ... nitiative/
The links between the Congress party and forces that seek to undermine India have given everyone plenty of cause for concern. Recently, it was discovered that China had paid the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation (RGF), managed by senior Congress leaders, more than Rs. 1 crore during the UPA regime.

More than that, the RGF also had links with other dubious elements, both within India and abroad. At OpIndia we have reported extensively on the links between the Congress party and American billionaire George Soros. The links revealed that George Soros, through his complex network of NGOs, had a disproportionate influence over the Congress party.

vinod sharma is a sold out media durbari who is close to the mafia family.
He says after pulwama/balakot incidents, an advisory team of two former foreign secretaries and one former chief of Army's Northern command had advised pappu to hold his guns back, but the all knowing and prized moron that he is, he overruled them and paid the price.

In the Congress, the dilemma on nationalism and Modi

The Congress hasn’t evidently learned much from the political costs it paid for taking on a charismatic adversary without a formidable counter-narrative.

Jul 02, 2020
Vinod Sharma
New Delhi

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had built the February, 2019 attack on a terror hideout in Pakistan into a major plank for the April-May parliamentary polls.

After the Indian Air Force (IAF)‘s Balakot strike to avenge Pulwama, the Congress had reached out to three domain experts to help it formulate its political responses. They included two former foreign secretaries and a general who once headed the northern command.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had built the February, 2019 attack on a terror hideout in Pakistan into a major plank for the April-May parliamentary polls. Broadly, the experts told the Congress leadership to hold fire and not rush into launching fusillades without getting a full sense of the complexities of the situation.

The party’s first responses in the military-diplomatic state of play were very much in order. Priyanka Gandhi cancelled a press conference scheduled in Lucknow on February 14, the day the Central Reserve Police Force convoy came under attack from a suicide bomber. She refused to talk politics, observing instead a two minute silence in memory of the jawans who died.

Rahul Gandhi was, then, the president of the Congress. His first tweet on February 26 saluted the IAF pilots who staged the airstrike. In that watershed moment, the entire political class was on the same page, barring Mehbooba Mufti who sounded sceptical on the outcome of the pre-dawn swoop.

Unravelled by the exigencies of poll-time politics, the consensus was short-lived. The Congress expended the good advice that had come its way. It forgot the lessons of the May-July Kargil war of 1999 — India’s first televised armed conflict that ran parallel to the campaign for the September-October parliamentary polls the same year. The party’s sniper shots at Atal Bihari Vajpayee — especially on the import of sugar from Pakistan — didn’t cut ice with the people. The war had happened within weeks of the Congress having toppled him as prime minister (PM), but having failed to put together an alternative regime.

The mountain battle was the result of a lax border vigil that helped Pakistani troops walk deep inside on our territory. The intelligence-security failure would have brought down the personal ratings of any prime minister. Yet, such was the principal Opposition’s crisis of credibility that it let the incumbent win as a caretaker PM. The BJP’s tally stayed static but the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) gained over a dozen seats. Its aggregate of 270 was tantalisingly close to the magic 272 that had eluded the Congress after it dislodged Vajpayee by one vote.

The Congress hasn’t evidently learned much from the political costs it paid for taking on a charismatic adversary without a formidable counter-narrative. The mistakes of 1999 that it repeated in 2019 are evident again in the face of the India-China military stand-off. The Congress-BJP duel after the June 20 all-party meeting on the Galwan valley clashes is a replay of the post-Balakot name-calling.

Coincidentally, an electoral joust is also due this year to the Bihar assembly where the NDA is seeking to grab the first-mover advantage by eulogising the men of the Bihar regiment who died fighting the Chinese. While the BJP is reaching out to the people with its story of Ladakh, the Congress struggles to cull a cogent script out of a host of issues — China’s military challenge; the pandemic; the sliding economy: loss of jobs; and human suffering of hundreds of thousands of migrant workers.

The Opposition had sound reasons to not be satisfied with the PM’s statement at the all party meet. But legitimate questions get delegitimised when posed petulantly. Little wonder then that Rahul’s ‘Surender Modi’ taunt — reminiscent of his 2019 chowkidar dig at the PM — found oblique disapprovals at the June 23 Congress Working Committee (CWC) parleys.

A major United Progressive Alliance partner and former defence minister Sharad Pawar was more in-the-face when he referred to the territory India lost in the 1962 war with China. His call against politicisation of issues of national security came after the CWC meeting.

There was a “silence of acquiescence” when a CWC member, who spoke before Rahul and Priyanka, underscored the pitfalls of personalising the political discourse. He reminded the gathering that the party defeated the NDA in 2004, not by besmirching Vajpayee but by taking down his “India shining” plank.

The short-point he made was that policy and governance-failures, for which the ruling side must be criticised, can get clouded by individual mud fights. He wasn’t contradicted till Rahul took the floor, forcefully stating that he wasn’t, unlike others, scared of taking on Modi. The assertion fetched him ‘polite support’ from others, including Priyanka.

A frontline Congress parliamentarian was prompted nevertheless to correct the impression that other leaders were loathe to dare Modi. He drew attention to the speeches he had made to make the PM accountable to the House. Another party veteran had an interesting caveat to the imperative of questioning Modi: “We must question him, but not in the manner of Mani Shankar Aiyar...” The allusion was to Aiyar’s chaiwala taunt that cost the Congress dear in the 2014 polls.

The hiatus on how to deal with the conundrum that’s Modi came out starkly when a first-time CWC member complained that Rahul’s tweets weren’t often re-tweeted by other colleagues. The irony inherent in the complaint was hard to ignore. For, many among those present believed that being led by Twitter isn’t the best way to deal with a rival who is better received across media platforms.

Things we learn from Twitter:

George Soros has pledged a billion dollar fund to fight Modi.

Yesterday I learned that Manmohan Singh's daughter is a top exec at Soros' Open Society Foundation.

Today, I learned Harsh Mander is an "adviser" at the same foundation.

Small world.
