Good. There has to be a way to bring the phoren socMedia platforms to heel. They're acting all high n mighty playing both judge and jury right now, harassing and banning Indic voices on twitter, FB.

Bring in a regulator with adjudication powers. Push also for data localization on the side, while at it...

For those of you who had asked about Monika Aroraji's 'Delhi Riots 2020 - the untold story', the book is now available on amazon.in. Ofcourse, it is available on Garuda Prakashan's site as well for both local and international purchase. Flipkart refuses the book to be sold on their site but no big surprise there. The book is priced very nominally at Rs 299, and based on the availability Garuda is mailing a complimentary book (a different book by a different author) in the same shipment at no extra cost.

Prem Kumar wrote:While the Farm Bills have the potential to be revolutionary, there are going to be several implementation hurdles:

1) Goonda-giri by the APMC-Politico nexus, threatening both the farmers and newcomers. The new aggregators need to be like Adani, with enough muscle and money power to take them on

2) The APMCs can, with their money-power, float e-marketplaces

3) The farmers must be given options on how to market & sell their produce, what their options are etc. Lots of hand-holding will be required. Their "comfort zone" is the mandi/APMC, even if its an usurious one

4) The Govt should ensure that a new cartel doesn't replace the old one. I.e. new aggregators/marketplaces colluding, buying for cheap (putting price-ceilings) and taking the farmers for a ride

I feel this is going to be a long road with many potholes, before some degree of fairness is achieved

"agricultural" income was officially certified by the APMC mandis and so many politicos had massive tax free "agricultural" income without any relevance or reference to plot size, average crop yields nation wide and no drought ever affected such incomes while ordinary farmers were forced to commit suicide on a regular basis because of financial hopelessness brought about by mounting debts incurred on the farming of their plots.

this is how the ordinary farmers were strangled with the mandi choke hold ever since India got her independence.

this is why they are all screaming that Modi did not "consult" the "stakeholders" and the "farmers".........

the congis would have pocketed their massive cuts and diluted the bill making it ineffective but this "type of consultation" doesn't seem to work with Modi

His frustration stems from the fact that there is little or no official recognition of the work that he has done (or claimed to have). His outbursts on Twitter is more in line of his perception that people don't recognize his work either. Any discussion boils down to, "I have done all this work and no one recognizes my work. You guys are mere mortals compared to me". I unfollowed him a while back.

But the BJP Govt not showing any warmth to him is surprising.

Yes, he does seek personal recognition & has a big ego, no doubt. But he has earned it.

The BJP won't support him, just like they won't support Sudarshan TV or Monika Arora. They can barely shed a tear for RSS & BJP workers killed in WB and TN. They have no clue how to build an ecosystem or tear the existing one down.

Intellectually, the RSS won't allow outsiders like Rajiv to come in and take the lead. Their own intellectual bankruptcy is well known. So, its a case of the dog who won't eat the bone, nor will let anyone else touch it

Sigh.

He is good friends with SuSwamy (not really a surprise there) and in one of his earlier videos he did say that he had met Modi when the later was the CM of GJ, and that Modi is very familiar with Rajivji's work.

Sadly though despite all that he's done over the last 30 yrs, Rajiv Malhotra seems to be in a hurry to lose even his most ardent supporters by his temper tantrums. Yes, he is undoubtedly an intellectual kshatriya who called out western "Indologists" and identified their machination before anyone else and he did it when there was no semblance of Indian nationalist/dharmic ecosystem. But him belittling everyone else and calling them "lazy, useless, emotional" etc is doing a disservice to thousands who have made ultimate sacrifice for dharma. If intellectual kshatriyas are important then so are ground level RSS or BJP karyakarta in WB, KL, TN or AP who have to fight the real fight with weapons each day, and without these kshatriyas there won't be anyone to listen to Rajiv Malhotra's youtube talks or read his books. Also, there are countless who fight a silent battle for dharma without self-promotion or expecting anything in return. Book publishers like Gita Press of Gorakhpur who continue to print books on dharma and dharmic epics and sell them for < Rs 20 or great pandits like Sri T Srinivasachariar Swami who at the age of 92 continues to write on shastras in sanskrit and tamil and many like them deserve as much praise as Rajiv Malhotra does.

the BJP is in a delicate situation.

The guy is ameriki and here be dragons because of the sure backlash on him which could very easily manifest in violence against his person back home in the US, the alleged land of the free and the home of the brave.

The case is very similar with Sudarshan TV or Monika Arora but in an Indian context and the dangers are the same.

Then again, look at how they came out to help kangana ranaut. The route was circutious but the intent was unmistakable. They have real hopes of getting her to accept a BJP ticket or atleast an independent but quietly supported seat. She has the media exposure and the wide recall in the public's eye as well as the communication skills.

Unfortunately, she is also a bit of a loose cannon and mostly an un guidable missile.

but the malhotra guy needs to be given more traction on local dharmic media and his undoubtedly huge body of work needs to be applauded.

He has certainly missed the part of Gita where one is asked to continue with deeds and not worry about anything else. That's one reason I have continued to watch Pushpendra's talks but not his. NJ area is teeming with anti Hindus but it looks like that he considers fighting NJ battles beneath him. Criticism and sharing limelight is not for him. And he's everyway washing away his work and contributions by not being able to continue the fight and handle criticism.

Meanwhile in Kerala, Court rejects LDF Govt withdrawal of cases against MLAs for ruckus in Assembly to prevent Budget presentation in 2016. LDF MLA created chaos when UDF Govt presenting Budget. Then Speaker asked Police to register case. When LDF Govt came tried to withdraw case
Now some of that MLAs became Ministers. Chief Judicial Magistrate said Case can’t withdraw as lot of properties in the Assembly were destroyed. Bold CJM

NIA may join Sushant case investigation

The National Investigating Agency has now been cleared by the Central Government to investigate drug related cases, and senior officers in the government confirmed that this may be a precursor to the agency, originally created to deal with terror-related crimes, being asked to look at the case surrounding the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, which has since snowballed into a major probe into drug use in the film industry.

If that happens, NIA will become the fourth federal agency to get involved in the case, after the Central Bureau of Investigation, the Enforcement Directorate and the Narcotics Control Bureau.

The Ministry of Finance’s Revenue Department on Tuesday, issued a notification that said that the Centre after consulting with states "invests the officers of and above the rank of inspectors in the NIA to exercise the powers and perform duties" according to section 53 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

This section allows the government to give any officer "the powers of a police station for the investigation of the offences under this Act". NIA was established a year after the 2008 Mumbai serial blasts to specifically focus on terror related activities across the country. In an amendment to the NIA act last year, the agency was also given the jurisdiction to probe cases related to human trafficking, counterfeit notes and cyber terrorism but narcotics cases were still not in its purview -- till Tuesday’s order that’s been signed by under secretary Biswajit Sarkar.

A government official familiar with the development said on condition of anonymity that the order could “expand the ambit of the ongoing probes in the SSR case, where drugs, money laundering and national security issues have emerged.”

A second government official who asked not to be named said that the importance of the notification was that even cases which were previously only the domain of the NCB could now be handled by the NIA.

While Tuesday’s notification said that states had been consulted, a minister in the Maharashtra government said that he wasn’t aware of any communication to the effect.

The death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput on June 14 has become a political issue with the Bihar Government playing a significant role in the transfer of the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation, one that the Maharashtra government criticised. While the circumstances surrounding the death are being investigated by CBI, the role of drugs in the case is being handled by the Narcotics Control Bureau . Actress and Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty is in custody for her role in an alleged ”drug syndicate’’ and for allegedly procuring drugs for the actor. ED is looking into money laundering aspects of the probe.

The second officer added that the need to issue this notification was because of a possible "national interest" lead that the NIA needed to probe.

“It’s a good step especially in light of growing linkages between terror modules and drug dealers. NIA officers can effectively investigate narco-terrorism crimes. It would not have any impact on the powers of State Police since the powers of State Police Officers to investigate the NDPS Crimes hasn’t been diluted,’’ said former NIA and presently ADG (law and order) Assam, GP Singh.

Maharashtra chief secretary Sanjay Kumar said he is not aware about the Centre consulting the state government on this. “Even during my tenure as the additional chief secretary of the home department, I do not remember any such proposal,” he said.

Thorough investigation of Mumbai has been long overdue. This pakiwood has been suspect for long time about providing white money trails for legal funding of anti India and terrorist activities. Release movies all over the world and bring in foreign funds and no one is wiser.

It is interesting that SS and NCP were absent in the Rajya Sabha ruckus over the Farm bills. Pawar did not even bother to show up. They left the Congis holding the bag.

One YSRCP MP meanwhile went on an all out attack against Cong calling it a dalal party and questioning why they were opposing the bill when they promised the same thing in their own 2019 manifesto.

Majority of the shameful behavior came from TMC. Looking at the way things are going we might very well see a Cong-TMC alliance for WB assembly polls.

Just today, I was telling someone offline that NIA will soon get pulled into the SSR/NCB case based on the statement given by NCB head a few days back when he linked Drugs to Terrorism financing. In my mind that was a signal and it was only a matter of time.

Now it has happened!

BJP must put forward a CM face in WB. Voters shouldn't get a dud like Yogi or Biplab after voting in Modi’s name,” @RuhiTewari

https://twitter.com/iAnkurSingh/status/ ... 3035905030
Take this as first sign of panic in TMC about elections. Why so much afraid of Modi?

Prashant Kishor knows if it will be Modi vs Mamata, BJP will have good chance.

Expect more such illogical attempts to raise the issue by PK.

With all seriousness Ruhi Tewari presents her informed opinion & analysis -
1. BJP must ‘play fair’ & not ride on the PM’s name & credibility.
2. the electorate deserves better, than ‘duds’ such as Yogi & Biplab.

Yes, you read it right. & we wonder how they get it so wrong !
Right! That Mumtaz has tapped the media dalalas reeks of desperation. My be the tide has turned in Bengal.

I have a nagging feeling that Malhotraji and Swamiji have been compromised to some videshi power.
When some over-zealous person tries to over-reach Indic causes then it should raise an alarm bell
for Bharat. These two over-zealous gents have joined hands with some Hindu orgs, and have been bad mouthing
about RSS/BJP for some time lately (after NaMo came to power). These two gents, with their elephantine brains should realize that the rot which have accumulated over six decades may need at least one or two decades to be cleaned up. Hence I don't understand why are they in a mad rush, and accusing with "BJP didn't do this, BJP is not doing that, etc."? Also, these two gents have tremendous ego problems. If they really want to help the Hindu causes then they better be Karma Yogis, and shy away from publicity, and keep on doing their "Nishkama Karmas". Instead, they are spreading internal low-level poison against RSS/BJP. By doing this they are doing the hack job on behalf of the EJs. That's why I have a gut feeling that they have been compromised. Bharat is a slow moving elephant - here things move at a slower pace, but permanently. What NaMo govt has achieved in the last six years is just tremendous - including structural changes. Don't these two gents realize this?

Thats unfair analysis. Swamy has history of U-turns whereas Rajiv has often fighting a lonely battle. He is unnecessary getting bad rap here. Rajiv has talked about the top and lower levels leadership are passionate, but its the larger med level which is stuck. He often gets advices from random ppl on twitter, and he resorts back that they should lead the way, not just only of him.

GoI needs to ban any foreign film earnings that can't be audited. At the very least, start monitoring where's money headed once arriving inside India and actually prosecute responsible parties for terrorism and treason acts.

Advocate Monika Arora files complaint against William Darlymple over visa rules violations

Monika Arora registers complaint against Scottish left-wing author William

Senior Advocate Monika Arora, one of the authors of the the book ‘Delhi Riots 2020: The Untold Story’ has filed a complaint with the Consular, Passport and Visa Division of Ministry of External Affairs against the left wing Scottish historian William Dalrymple for violating Visa conditions and deliberately engaging in activities that interfere with India’s internal affairs.

In her complaint, Supreme Court advocate Monika Arora has accused Scottish national William Dalrymple of interfering in country’s internal affairs by putting out public statements, interviews that concern India’s democratic and political processes.

William Dalrymple is a Scottish national who holds an Indian Business Visa. He regularly visits India, stays for long durations and resides mostly in Delhi, says the complaint. It added further that any foreign national must adhere to activities permitted under that specific visa.

“It has been observed however that Mr Dalrymple has been deliberately engaging in activities that interfere with India’s internal affairs,” the complainant Monika Arora alleged in her complaint.

Citing instances of deporation of various foreign nationals who were deported, blacklisted, cancelled or asked to leave India for involving in anti-CAA protests, Monika Arora in her complaint said that Dalrymple has been actively canvassing against the CAA, peddling half-truths, commenting against the Indian Government and making snide remarks against Indian citizens.

Monika Arora has listed several instances where Darlymple’s statements and articles have been against India’s integrity, sovereignty and displayed a blatant bias against a democratically elected government.

Monika Arora’s letter has urged the ministry for a thorough investigation into Dalrymple’s violation of visa rules, and strict action against him. The complaint states that if found guilty, William Darlymple’s Indian visa must be revoked, future entry prohibited and his named blacklisted as per the rules of government of India.

William Dalrymple was behind the withdrawal of ‘Delhi Riots’ book
Arora said that the Scottish national had admitted to be one of the key instigators behind the withdrawal of the book “Delhi Riots 2020: The Untold Story” and had pressurized, blackmailed and intimidated the publisher Bloomsbury India to withdraw her book.

In the complaint, Monika Arora asked the External affairs ministry regarding on what mandate did Dalrymple has as a foreigner to trample on her freedom of speech and expression granted to her as an Indian citizen under the Constitution of India.

“In the past, it was been found that Mr. Dalrymple has regularly penned articles on the Hon’ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, wrongly alluding to him having been implicated in the 2002 Gujarat riots, which is wholly untrue in light of extensive court proceedings that have concluded to the contrary,” the complaint noted.

The Scottish self-proclaimed historian William Dalrymple, joining hands with Islamists and left-liberal lobby, had pressurized the publishing house Bloomsbury to withdraw the book titled ‘Delhi Riots 2020: The Untold Story’.

“I’m extremely grateful to @DalrympleWill for his efforts in putting a stop to this shameful bit of state propaganda. It could not have happened without him”, Islamist Aatish Taseer had revealed later.

Complaint filed against left-wing media outlets, Islamists

Earlier, Senior Advocate Monika Arora had filed a complaint with the Delhi Police Commissioner against Bloomsbury India and several leftist Islamists over the abrupt withdrawal of the book by the Publication house.

A police complaint was filed against Bloomsbury India, leftist portals The Quint and Newslaundry, and far-left ‘activists’- Saket Gokhale, Arfa Sherwani, Nandini Sunder, Aatish Tasser, William Dalrymple, Meena Kandasamy for the offence of criminal breach of trust, cheating, mischief, misappropriation of property under Sections 403, 405, 406, 409, 415, 420, 425, 426 of IPC.

In the complaint, the authors of the book accused the named parties of maliciously receiving, retaining and propagating stolen copy of the manuscript of the to be published book ‘Delhi Riots 2020: The Untold Story’.

Days after Bloomsbury India had decided to withdraw the publication of the book ‘Delhi Riots 2020: The Untold Story’, the publishing house had allegedly leaked the manuscript of the book on WhatsApp and had also shared it with a few media organisations.

Bloomsbury India had suddenly decided to withdraw the publication of the book ‘Delhi Riots 2020: The Untold Story’ after being bullied by the left-liberals and Islamists on social media.

CR Patil is going to have lot to clean up within GJ BJP. One thing not mentioned in the article is that Rupani's govt is not even pretending to go after land grabbing gangs associated with opposition parties.
Deepan Bhadran moved as SP Jamnagar as nuisance of a local major organized gang rises
https://www.deshgujarat.com/2020/09/22/ ... t-of-hand/
...
Ranpariya, who is learnt to allegedly have the blessings of a senior minister in the Vijay Rupani cabinet, is believed to have fled to Dubai through a fake passport. However, through phone calls, through money he has made from land grabbing activities and extortion, through local political linkages, through his aides and through fear he has injected after brutal murder of lawyer Kirit Joshi, Jayesh (Jaysukh) Ranpariya is very much present in Jamnagar.
....
Jayesh (Jaysukh) is allegedly involved in firing at the house of Purshottam Rajani, a professor with Jamnagar Mahila College, for refusing to pay Rs. 1 crore extortion money. Rajani who has named Jayesh as accused, sold plots in Krishna Park society on Lalpur bypass against the wishes of Jayesh. Rajani said, Jayesh called him and asked not to go ahead with deal. Rajani didn’t budge. He was fired upon by the men of Jayesh for starting construction. Rajani in his complaint also named BJP Councillor Atul Bhanderi as one of accused and described him as one of aides of Jayesh. Bhanderi was part of Hardik Patel led quota agitation movement and later became councilor as Congress candidate but then joined BJP. Bhanderi however had in reference to another incident of fire in 2018 denied that he was in any contact with Jayesh.
...
There are number of other cases, be it newer cases of fraud , threats over phone call, land grabbing , attempt of murder, bitcoin theft and more. Brahmin community, Sadhu community, Lawyers and others have presented memorandums for Jayesh’s arrest but there’s no result.

Jayesh (Jaysukh) is also in the list of wanted criminals of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and there’s an interpol red corner notice against him.

Not everything against RSS/BJP is a compromise. Let us face it, the RSS also has RMdhavs and a strong Nagpur lobby with connections to a geopolitical power. The BJP has had it's Congress team B types. It's Ok to oppose. I do not doubt the patriotism of these two fellows but there is no doubt that their ego's trump decision making. If it hurts their ego then it is bad. They need constant praise.

Central MoS for Railways Suresh Angadi passed away from COVID this evening. After former President Pranab Mukherjee, i guess this is the next most high profile death we've had in the country so far.
