Mean while some thing is cooking in the Indian National Congress, with a 'rebel group' firmly in place. No wonder Modi spoke about G.N Azad's exemplary contributions to democracy & parliament etc. etc.
Another Revolt? Ghulam Nabi Azad's Homecoming Shifts Congress Battleground to Jammu. Kapil Sibal is also part of this group.

There is more to it. Mainly in Asia; look at countries which are always in the radar of western countries (US & its side kick UK et.al). It is India (majority Hindu), Myanmar (majority Budhists), Sri Lanka (majority Sinhala Budhists). In any country which does not have an X'ian or Islam majority, fissures are introduced in the society and the country and its leadership will have to spend all energy in fire fighting. Any society which is not having an Abrahamic religion majority is now facing threats of extermination or conversion.

Read the news about the 'new rebel camp' in the news I posted above. Kapil Sibal is one of the rebels. But I will never believe that Kapil Sibal has any thing good in mind for India. Looks like the whole family is into this 'lawyer' business and that Supreme court levels. Perhaps it may be a good excercise to come up with the family trees of 'eminent jurists' in India, especially at higher courts. People are generally worried about 'political dynasties', but dynasties else where often fly under the radar.

I think Nirmala Sitaraman is attempting to do what pappu and co. failed to do in the last 6 yrs. For the 8th time since December the household LPG cylinder price has been hiked yet again by Rs 25 today, that's Rs 200 increase per cylinder since December 2020.
Except for the gang in the bolded part, I am in favour of helping every other group. Fuel prices are sky rocketing and this is one area where Modi & Co are always on the defensive and generally just to push issues under the carpet. I am hearing stories of LPG subsidies (in DBT mode) are stopped/delayed in some areas, while it is arriving on time in other areas.
I am not even an amateur economist, so Gurus here can any one explain why the fuel prices and LPG prices are sky rocketing? Why can't the government bring in any regulation here? The standard excuse seems to be
"fuel prices went out of GoI ambit when MMS was in power. No fuel companies decide the price.". No one buys it, and sooner or later people will start voting for parties offering freebies (with minimum paper work).
