such calls from supplicants are usually setup days in advance, and connected only after the seeking time for the call as well as the convenience and consent of the called party
amerikis of standing can call at anytime befitting their erstwhile status of soooper power
after niazi allegedly called putin to offer his "services" as a mediator, this paki roach qureshi is only trying to further the same narrative but it is mainly a desperate ploy to remain relevant.
wonderboy NSA moeed yusuf seems to have been sidelined

The solution to Pakistan's economic problems is simple: geographically shift next to Ukraine and then become a frontline ally of NATO in its fight against Russia.

Facilitating role? How? The only way Pakistan can facilitate is by offering to hold a summit in Islamabad. Imagine that!! The world on the brink of a nuclear war but the Russia-Ukraine summit is postponed due to a bum blast in Isloo or some nutty daadiwala leading a "long march" to the city. That would be such a loss of H&D. My suggestion to facilitate Russia-Ukraine deescalation is by not calling world leaders and wasting their precious time offering to explain Pakistan's perspective.Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday held a telephonic conversation with European Council President Charles Michel and said that Pakistan was ready to play a facilitating role for de-escalation in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Basically Dimran's government is slowly self-immolating itself.
Apparently fiery speeches cannot rescue a economy down the tubes.
On top of it, if you recall, various dignitaries and luminaries from TenPercenti's party and Badmash's party joined Dimran (they will join whoever the khakis choose next), they didnt make as much money as they'd have liked. On top of that, since these people were given importance, the original loyalists from PTI didnt make as much money as they'd have liked. So there is general sense of discontent among his party people.
Dimran also dared the Khakis one too many times. There was a recent drama of Bajwa picking a new ISI chief and Dimran saying that it didnt have his approval. Bajwa had to silently bear the insult, because dimran dared him to find a replacement PM. Note that the Khakis tried to get rid of Badmash twice (once during mushy's time, when Badmash barely escaped the lamp post, and once during Dimran re-election when he was sentenced to Jail), Khakis have a storied history with Benazir and her husband (he has been in and out of jail, and his tenure was marked with a dozen prime ministers). So they did not realistically have a replacement for Dimran
Now the tides seem to have shifted. Khakis are fed up with Dimran regularly daring them. They also are upset with Dimran not prioritizing CPEC*. They have come to some kind of understanding with Badmash's brother, and some kind of understanding with Ten Percenti and the Mullah Diesel.
Apparently the opposition is going to first try to oust the speaker of the house. Apparently that is secret ballot so everyone with an axe to grind can plunge their dagger while wearing a Burkha. The no confidence motion is open-ballot so if they take a shot at the king, they cannot miss. The speaker is the dress rehearsal to see if the shot at dimran will succeed.
* That brings me to the next conspiracy theory. I think Pakistan army is completely in the pockets of cheen now.

Not only that, he is basically an establishment prop-up, even though he has shown a tendency to 'go rogue' from their perspective. So they will try to give him a dignified exit so that he can be propped up later by the establishment to carry out dharnas and give speeches on containers to put pressure on the next lot of politicians in power (PPP or PMLN) as required.sudhan wrote:There will be no Lamp-posting of dimmy al dummy.. the brown pants need to maintain some semblance of democrazy.

EU snubbed Pakistan Army chief’s request to join landmark meeting with Indo-Pacific in Paris
Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa’s request for a one-on-one meeting with Josep Borrell Fontelles, the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, was also turned down.
New Delhi: European Union diplomats stonewalled requests from Pakistan’s army chief, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, to be invited to attend a high-profile multilateral conference on the Indo-Pacific region in Paris last week, as well as a one-on-one meeting with the organisation’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell Fontelles, three diplomatic sources have confirmed to ThePrint.
General Bajwa, the sources said, also sought an invitation to the high-profile Munich Security Conference, which fell through after organisers pointed out that Pakistan’s National Security Adviser, Moeed Yusuf, was already scheduled to speak on Afghanistan.
Reading this you also get an idea on how the call between EU Council President Charles Michel and Imran Khan must have happened. Imran Khan's office must have sought a telephonic conversation between Imran Khan and EU council president (to discuss what else but how the conflict is affecting economy of developing countries (read Pakistan) and if they can be compensated) and the president must have obliged to be polite. The reports though spin it as if it was EU president who called and that too to seek Pakistan's mediation in Ukraine conflict. The EU’s ambassador in Islamabad, Androulla Kaminara, had pushed for Borell to meet with General Bajwa, an Indian diplomatic source said, arguing that he represented a pro-West section of the country’s establishment, committed to containing China’s influence.
EU diplomats, however, pointed out that the meeting would be inappropriate, as Gen. Bajwa is a military officer, not a diplomatic representative of his country.

UK-Pakistan relations hit a new low over Ukraine
The diplomatic relations between the UK and Pakistan have hit a new low as two important visits have been cancelled, following Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to Ukraine and his recent speech condemning the Western countries.
UK government has cancelled two important visits after Prime Minister Imran Khan met Russian President Vladimir Putin on the day Russia started assault of Ukraine and then Prime Minister Imran Khan’s blistering speech five days ago in which the prime minister said Western diplomats were treating Pakistan like “slaves” by pushing for tougher stance on Russia.
Prime Minister Imran Khan’s speech caused an alarm in the UK as it has been one of the biggest donors to Pakistan
Pakistan’s National Security Adviser (NSA) Moeed Yousuf’s official visit to the United Kingdom for a meeting with UK’s National Security Adviser Sir Stephen Lovegrove was cancelled by the UK government
Dimmy should demand that Y-UK treat India the same way. Equal-equal. UKstanis should stop buying Land Rovers and Jaguars, stop shopping at Hamleys, stop using Tata steel in their construction projects, and stop drinking Tetley Tea as a sign of "we are miffed" protest. This week, a high-powered delegation of the UK administration was supposed to visit Pakistan for talks on various issues but that visit has been called off

Dr Shahbaz Gill is now of the opinion that the US and allies want PM Imran Khan ‘removed because his policies are against their regional and global interests’
Why would the CIA want a ‘regime change’ in Pakistan at this stage? Answer: It is all about the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor or CPEC.
Has the CIA now also recruited Jahangir Khan Tareen, Abdul Aleem Khan, Nadeem Afzal Chan and Yar Muhammad Rind?
