Pakistan Armed Forces: News & Discussion
Re: Pakistan Armed Forces: News & Discussion Thread
USA holds so much power against India - all they need to do is simply supply 4 squadrons of F16 block 70/72 to Pak and we are completely exposed!! 4 squadrons is nothing to them!

Pakis can be bought by supplying 2nd hand, 3rd or even 4th hand Block 50/52 F16s...V_Raman wrote:USA holds so much power against India - all they need to do is simply supply 4 squadrons of F16 block 70/72 to Pak and we are completely exposed!! 4 squadrons is nothing to them!
Re: Pakistan Armed Forces: News & Discussion Thread
more than paki willingness - our IAF advantage is only worth 4 squadrons of latest F16s ?! that is scary !!

Legendary Chini quality or the lack thereof!! Pakis find the VT-4 tanks and 203mm arty guns to be sub standard.
"Pakistan which has long depended on western equipment for its armed forces is facing quality and reliability issues with newly inducted Chinese equipment, with a main battle tank failing post delivery tests and a freshly procured heavy artillery gun facing multiple technical issues during firing trials.

Actually this is the point where we need to introspect that what a dis-service are we doing to our nation by not scaling Tejas production numbers. But 'we are like this onlee'. Maybe as a civilization, we never take our defence preparedness seriously. We have been powerful at all times in history but militarily weak. We wont even do whats so imminently possible. I think most BRFites know this somewhere but we hope for better. I too.V_Raman wrote:USA holds so much power against India - all they need to do is simply supply 4 squadrons of F16 block 70/72 to Pak and we are completely exposed!! 4 squadrons is nothing to them!

Mian Channu in pakjab is 70 miles from the Indian border. Got to be a local drone/fuel tank issue.Ganesh_S wrote:https://youtu.be/pL4ZcmVtjhw

Indeed.
It is commonly referred to as 'Telephoto Compression', when using big zoom lenses. Tends to warp the distance perception between background and foreground

Baki drone crash. Looks like the parts of a jet engine exhaust. Lal Topi thinks it's an Indian mijjile testing the baki resolve.

DG ISPR claiming that it was a Indian Mach 3 flying object that entered 124 Km into Paki airspace
I am now convinced that it is a Paki jet doing soosai over Pakjab
Fazlu Diesel has also just called for a siege of Islam bad
111 Brigade on the move!

Update on this crash. Question: bakistan has jet trainers for the aam abduls? Something is black in the lentils.anupmisra wrote:Baki drone crash. Looks like the parts of a jet engine exhaust. Lal Topi thinks it's an Indian mijjile testing the baki resolve.
Trainer crashes in Mian Channu
A private aircraft crashed in Mian Channu, Khanewal district, on Wednesday night and the lone occupant remained safe.
The pilot remained safe after timely ejection from the jet
Police cordoned off the area and did not allow rescue officials to come close to the jet.
Ejection from a private aircraft? That's a new one.The rescue officials were asked to leave as the army authorities were coming to collect the evidence.

Ans, another DGISPR take on the crash.
'India to explain what happened in Mian Channu,' says DG ISPR after Indian projectile falls in Pakistan

'India to explain what happened in Mian Channu,' says DG ISPR after Indian projectile falls in Pakistan
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Maj Gen Babar Iftikhar on Thursday briefed the media on an Indian "high speed flying object" that fell in Mian Channu, Khanewal district on Wednesday night.
Earlier reports had suggested that a private aircraft had crashed in the area. So, no ejaculation?
"On March 9, at 6:43pm, a high speed flying object was picked up inside the Indian territory by Air Defence Operations Centre of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF)," he began. "From initial course, it deviated and entered Pakistan territory and fell in Pakistani territory, causing some damage to civilian installations but no loss of life was reported."
Sounds like a doosra bunda-type cover-up. First, it was a "drone". The, part of a fuel tank. Then a private aircraft. Then the ejaculation. Then the army takes over the crash site, Now it's an Indian mach-3 craft that fell 125 KM inside bakistan.India must explain what caused this

Re: Pakistan Armed Forces: News & Discussion Thread
what if it was indeed and sent to test their reaction and capabilties in future??
Re: Pakistan Armed Forces: News & Discussion Thread
Based on the new information coming in, I stand corrected from my original thesis. I believe that the object that crash-landed in Mian Channu is the booster part of the new missile test by India. It was meant to be tracked. However, a NOTAM was not publicly declared. The missile head "landed" in India while the booster veered off right and landed 124 KM in bakistan.ArjunPandit wrote:what if it was indeed and sent to test their reaction and capabilties in future??

Re: Pakistan Armed Forces: News & Discussion Thread
Video of the impact.... whatever hit that place was carrying a warhead.
Look at the hole on the ground...A inert missile will not create such a hole...
It doesn't look accidental.. something got smoked.

Looks like Paks didn't have a clue what hit them. Took them an entire day to figure out what had happened and create a powerpoint...
If they were tracking it, they would have announced it last evening or early morning today...
All we need to do now is offically deny we fired anything... and let the SM conspiracy theorist take it forward..

Re: Pakistan Armed Forces: News & Discussion Thread
The photo looks like a jet engine (and not a rocket engine)
Only thing AFAIK that goes at that speed that India has is Mig25, and they did go Mach 2+ and did a sonic boom on top of Lahore.
But it has been retired for a long time now.
Pakis are claiming something flew at 40,000 feet at Mach 3, from Sirsa, crossed into Al-Bakistan and penetrated 140km (total distance = ~300KM)
First of all, seems like the Afghan stuff is really strong to smoke.
If It is real, and we do have a 300KM Mach 3 missile (which is not brahmos), which is probably equipped with surveillance equipment, the lungi dance time?

Any source quoting GOI officials? This could well be a failed Pakistani missile test.anupmisra wrote:Based on the new information coming in, I stand corrected from my original thesis. Considering recent tantrums being thrown by dimran, their establishment is very likely to stage a deliberate failed missile test and blame india to control the current political scenario.
Pakistan is currently facing a Civil War like situation with dimran going berserk due to realization of loosing proposed no confidence motion against him.

did indian hackers extract teh djinn tech of MARV(a) tech that was tested prior to kargil where the missile landed in balochistan while flying over land...but their results reported to musharraf (not theirs but the president) was 100% success. especially since india hasnt done it yet?

How two Hindus rose to top ranks of Pakistan military
Major Dr Kelash Kumar and Major Dr Aneel Kumar's promotion to the post of lieutenant colonel in the Pakistan army is significant given that Hindus are a persecuted minority......
Re: Pakistan Armed Forces: News & Discussion Thread
Most probably they were testing a new air launched missile. There was NOTAM. That thing came crashing down. Now they have to blame someone and divert what it is and its failure. More like a RAAD kind of missile. If you look carefully, The leading edge is more like that with the section behind it burned. Also some of the edges can be compared to RAAD.
Re: Pakistan Armed Forces: News & Discussion Thread
If it is theirs then our people should say so no?... instead of sitting quietly. This is what the uk-rus conflict is teaching us...control the narrative! INFACT, even if it was ours, our PR should have claimed it is theirs.
Re: Pakistan Armed Forces: News & Discussion Thread
No way we would test a Missile from Sirsa and make it fly Westward, this more likely that Paki Missile test gone all wrong. or parts of Fighter which disintegrated, Main Channu is about 35Km PAF Rafiqui as the crow flies.
Looking at the confusion in PAF circles and word Pilot safe, could this be that a J-10C being inducted crashed close to PAF Rafiqui and now they have gone in cover up mode.

Re: Pakistan Armed Forces: News & Discussion Thread
If it is our missile test gone wrong...it seems to have a tenancy to turn right rather than go anywhere else.. not to mention fly in a straight line after after turning right..
Even out failed missiles know here to fall..

I think this Pakistani channel is giving it away what crashed at Mian Channu, a J10C probably from sortie from PAF Rafiqui.
Eyewitness clearly stating "Janghe Jahaz" crashed

jokes aside MOD accepted that this was indeed our missile..quite freakish..or something else
Re: Pakistan Armed Forces: News & Discussion Thread
Perhaps some real trees and crows this time. :lol
Re: Pakistan Armed Forces: News & Discussion Thread
Really... this is next level
Re: Pakistan Armed Forces: News & Discussion Thread
Now the question is which missile was this and what are the secrets that the pakis can glean from the wreckage. As, according to the Pakis, this was unarmed, means that the chances of it getting destroyed is much less than it would have been if it was armed with explosives. Better hope it was just a run of the mill prithvi, not the PAD or the Brahmos.ArjunPandit wrote:jokes aside MOD accepted that this was indeed our missile..quite freakish..or something else
Re: Pakistan Armed Forces: News & Discussion Thread
1 - what if it had gone east
2 - what if would have got perceived as missile attack and there would have been retaliation
3 - if you see missile path? whether the coordinates were pre-fed
4 - i believe we can destruct missile mid - air; we could have done it
Not Dhoti Shivering but somehow this does not add up; we are known for our professional ways and accidental missile firing does not sound logical

Yes, Based on speed and range profile it seems so, hoping that it is just a a wayward malfunctioning missile that burned off its fuel in pretty quick time leading it to speed up at an extraordinary rate. But that's just my guess. Will have to wait till the Govt. comes up with a statement.LakshmanPST wrote:Seems to be Brahmos missile...

So the first export of Brahmos happened to be to Pakistan. Crazy!
They could so easily have escalated this!

Yes, I do not buy the press release, our troops simply do not do accidental launches of multi million dollar missiles with concrete/lead payload inside, flying supersonic through areas with minimal to no civil air traffic and impact in freaking Khanewal with no casualties.
(And if I am thinking about two majestic rivers, they flow above the ground at vast speeds not at 40000Ft)
For the time being let us gleefully watch the Pakis celebrate Yaum e Difa 2022
