Just saw The Kashmir Files in South London. Theatre was almost house full. Lots of ppl heard saying WTF under their breath during screening. Even someone like me who's relatively more aware about the history (thanks actually to the last 15 yrs of BRF exposure) could not help but feel ashamed how the then governments could let something like this happen.

Must watch. Please vote with your wallet and make this movie a megahit.

And the whitewashing continues....

The Kashmir Files
...According to critics, it presents a one-dimensional narrative, defaming the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and promoting Islamophobia...
This is written in the 1st paragraph on wiki, which is where majority of people stop reading any further. :x

The Kashmir Files' team meets PM Narendra Modi, receives appreciation for the film - ANI via WION

'The Kashmir Files' team, including producer Abhishek Agarwal, director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri and actor Pallavi Joshi, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday and said they received appreciation for their film.

The film revolves around the genocide of Kashmiri Pandits in 1990 and stars Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Darshan Kumar, and Pallavi Joshi in pivotal roles.

Abhishek Agarwal shared pictures of their meeting with the Prime Minister on his Twitter handle and wrote, "It was a pleasure to meet our Hon`ble Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi Ji. What makes it more special is his appreciation and noble words about #TheKashmirFiles. We`ve never been prouder to produce a film. Thank you Modi Ji."

Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri retweeted this and added, "I am so glad for you @AbhishekOfficl you have shown the courage to produce the most challenging truth of Bharat. #TheKashmirFiles screenings in USA proved the changing mood of the world in the leadership of @Narendra Modi."

The film, which was released in theatres on March 11, earned Rs. 3.55 crores on its opening day.

We few friends will watch it on weekday here in SF bay area. Shows in Santa Clara are running house full on the weekends. May be because of limited number of screens.

Overall I heard that the film is doing exceptionally well though there are reports of sabotage in few theaters in India. Vivek Agnihotri is doing a flash conference on Monday.

The movie Kashmir files is openly being sabotaged.

With only 30-40 seats booked, theatres are purposely being shown as fully booked.

During the movie itself, the sound is being wilfully muted on numerous occasions

I have a feeling that purposely mutilated and virus ridden copies are going to be released on line to ensure that even downloading is sabotaged.

this is a very organised throttling of the movie

people have caught on and are revolting against the theatre managers, calling them out

If this happens to you, don't keep quiet

How did farmer-dominated regions of Punjab, UP vote in the Assembly elections?
Report reads "Even in the most unexpected region, BJP made a clean sweep by winning all eight seats in Lakhimpur Kheri, where a lot of political heat was generated over the Tikunia violence, which left four farmers among eight people dead." So much so for Dakait and the "neutral" main stream media.

It is in Mysore Karnataka. I thought it was only my imagination and they were sitting there to avoid crowd. Even my friend who is a south Indian film producer too told me that they were shocked and sat there not because of crowd or covid. He told it is his profession to gauge peoples feeling. It might be true because If it was due to COVID they would have been wearing masks most of them were not wearing or even talking to each other. just staring at the blank screen like a dead man.

There is a Seen in the move where Ms. Menon tells "Government might be theirs, but system is in our hands", this is so true. my wife posted on her FB stating where were the people who carry secularism on there sleeves and people who shame governments calling in-tolerance in 1990s... one of the area manager who is an union guy, wrote to her post not to watch such move, instead concentrate on work. But by morning he had deleted the post and my wife was sad that she could not take a screen shot and give a heard hitting reply to him.

In the mean time Kerala congress tweeter handle has tweeted "Facts about KashmiriPandiths issue:
it was terrorists who targeted the pandiths. in 17 yrs (1990 - 2007), 399 Pandiths were killed in terror attack's. the number of Muslims killed by terrorists is 15000."
this is a thread 1/n but now when I search now, I am seeing the thread only from 2/n. people with tweeter account can conform me if it was deleted or I am not able to see it now probably as I watch from chrome and not have an account.

rsinghji, lots of tales like western fantasies like "lord of the rings" can be made from actual Indian history with great storylines given today's technology. But first, we need to remove fake history that currently dominates Indian minds, and remove the jihadis like Javed Akhtar and Salim whatnot who have written terrible scripts for decades and gotten rich off it because the Indian audience did not have any alternative.

The duo were ace plagiarists. Their most famous script - Sholay, was a100% lift of Sergio Leone's "Once Upon a Time In The West". In those days Western movies were not readily available to the public but these guys in Bhaiwood had access. When I first saw the Leone movie in UK in 1985 I was blown away, had no idea how some of the scenes had been copied frame by frame. Add desi masala to the story, put in your superstar actors and you have a smash hit.

The Gypsies are originally Rajputs from India who were taken as slaves and sold off in Central Asia. From there they spread all over Europe but have always been treated as outcasts. If you read their history it is truly horrific how they were periodically massacred just for entertainment.

Not slaves at all, sir. They were intentional emigrants who went on a pre-planned route from India to Armenia, Anatolia, and thence Europe in the 10th century CE (this was before there had been significant Muslim incursions in India, outside of Sindh). They were following a path of Indian emigration that had been well trodden for thousands of years. Armenia was Hindu at least as far back as 349 BCE (when 7 Hindu cities are recorded to have existed there), and probably much further back than that. Only in circa 300 AD did the Christian fanatic Gregory the Illuminator bring an army to raze the 'pagan' cities to the ground and establish Christianity in Armenia. But even Zenob Glak, his disciple, records the existence of Krishna temples in Armenia, as well as the predominance of an institution of royal governance known as "Nakharar" that unquestionably had its roots in Indian tradition.

The Mittani empire, whose language certainly had profound Sanskrit influences, also included the regions of Armenia and Northern Syria (ca. 1750 BCE).

The gypsies followed a route that had been plied back and forth by traders, adventurers, immigrants hoping for a better life, mercenaries, artisans, and all kinds of people between northwestern India and Armenia/Anatolia back to prehistoric times. Armenia is a prime candidate for the introduction of Indo-European languages into the Steppe (via Maikop in the North Caucasus) and then into Europe, per one view of the Out-of-India theory.

Agree that Gypsies were not slaves but migrants. However, in 325 AD the Nicean council established the basis of Christianity and there were very little Christians before that in the world. In fact, before 325AD there is no known record of a person called "Jesus Christ". The Nicean council discussed a theoretical Jesus vs a physical Jesus. Jesus Christ was fashioned on another person called Apollonius of Tyana who was an Indic in Greece.

All Roman Emperors were followers of "Pagan" Hindu concepts prior to conversion to Christianity (Constantine the great onwards). The Pompei ruins have numerous idols of Indic Gods/Goddess. After conversion, they tried to wipe out most of the evidence of the past. The Vatican was really a place of worship of Hindu Shiva and the name itself comes from Vatika a Sanskrit term. The deep vaults of Vatican have photos of the past including a Shiva Lingam.

By 313 CE, Christian political influence in Rome was massive enough to convince Constantine to impose the Edict of Milan, which essentially decreed Jesus Christ as the official deity of the Roman legions. So there were quite a lot of Christians even in Europe by then.

Christianity spread in Asia Minor long before it spread in Europe. It didn't need large absolute numbers of followers to capture state power and displace pre-existing pagan religions. All it needed was small groups of people motivated by absolutely fanatical intolerance... exactly as you saw with Islam around 400 years later.

Rudradev: All it needed was small groups of people motivated by absolutely fanatical intolerance... exactly as you saw with Islam around 400 years later.
Islam seems to have been a reaction to Christian fundamentalism and violent intolerance inflicted on the people of Western Asia, and it mirrored Christianity to the extent of even stealing most of the text and doing the equivalent of negating everything in the christian book with the intent of fighting a war with christianity, and with the fall of constantinople around 1100AD (not CE, which presumes universal christianity) Islam went on to find other targets, as we all know.

And in other news, another INC darbari kicks it -- wife of the NAC oiseaule MS Swaminathan, who handed over India's entire rice seedbank to the US's IRRI which is now owned by the Gates Foundation, even as he destroyed Rice biodiversity in India with the so-called "green revolution", which wiped out all strains of rice in favor of a high-yield strain. India had (has?) 100s of strains of rice at one point, cultivated all over, not true anymore.

Mohammed the prophet (PBUH) parents were pagan Hindus. The Kaaba of Mecca had a black meteorite stone of worship prior to Islam being established. Kaaba and Shiva Kabaleeshwar sound to close. The black stone on the SE corner of Mecca Kaaba, installed 5 feet above the ground, was a Shiva lingam in a Shiva temple at Mecca.

Around 65 million years ago, the earth was rained by massive meteorites from space and since the earth rotates this rain of meteorite stones was not in one single spot. The meteorite hit triggered huge volcanic eruptions causing the Deccan plateau and Western Ghats and eventually pushing the Indian plate crust northwards/eastwards. Geologists have found evidence of iridium along with shocked quartz, which means there was a meteorite impact. The Narmada river bana-lingam are considered the place were the human species were born initially. The fossil of the Narmada man’s skull was found at Hatnora. The black Shiva Lingam meteorite stone delivered Tvasta (seed) to planet earth, in the form of the double helix coiled serpents which cannot be destroyed, as mentioned in Rig Veda and gave life in living creatures.

The scene in Sholay where Gabbar comes down the mountain on his horse and shoots the Inspector's family one by one was copied exactly, including where the youngest boy comes running in the end and is the last one to be shot. You can check on YT.

Of course, as I said there was a lot of masala added in the Desi version. These two guys - Salim/Javed were masters at cutting and pasting scenes and snippets from various Western (Hollywood) movies and creating their own versions of it.

Flavia Julia Helena Augusta was greek of low class (some accounts say that she was of Jewish origin) and was girlfriend of Constantius a general in Roman Army. Her son Constantine was declared emperor of Rome. Constantius had a legal wife with whom he had 6 children. Constantine with his mother's support declared Christianity as the new religion of Romans. The edict of Milan was also inspired by Helena. In Rome no one paid any attention to "Christians" prior to Nicean Council and the edict was about tolerating the renegades.

Sir this is a crap... Don't believe in such nonsense. Not all pagan are hindus. These WhatsApp messages I have seen but realty is they were different pagans.

Just for your info no Hindu will use the word like PBUH... only Muslims do... So this is a copy past from WhatsApp university.

This is true. In fact Mohammad last wish is to eliminate pagans from Arabia...
Narrated Sa`id bin Jubair: Ibn `Abbas said, "Thursday! What (great thing) took place on Thursday!" Then he started weeping till his tears wetted the gravels of the ground . Then he said, "On Thursday the illness of Allah's Messenger was aggravated and he said, "Fetch me writing materials so that I may have something written to you after which you will never go astray." The people (present there) differed in this matter and people should not differ before a prophet. They said, "Allah's Messenger is seriously sick.' The Prophet said, "Let me alone, as the state in which I am now, is better than what you are calling me for." The Prophet on his death-bed, gave three orders saying, "Expel the pagans from the Arabian Peninsula, respect and give gifts to the foreign delegates as you have seen me dealing with them." I forgot the third (order)" (Ya'qub bin Muhammad said, "I asked Al-Mughira bin `Abdur-Rahman about the Arabian Peninsula and he said, 'It comprises Mecca, Medina, Al-Yama-ma and Yemen." Ya'qub added, "And Al-Arj, the beginning of Tihama.")

This is an often-repeated narrative by Christian historians, in which everything was black or white. Until the day that the Roman Empire itself became officially Christian, anything less than that was described as 'persecution' or 'intolerance' of Christians.

The parallels of this victimhood narrative are endlessly repeated throughout the history of Abrahamic cults confronting pluralistic civilizations. See how even today, Muslims are publicized as being the 'real victims' in Kashmir (despite having orchestrated the genocide and ethnic cleansing of Kashmiri Hindus). Consider how a measure like CAA is considered to be "discrimination against Muslims" simply because it provides relief to non-Muslims persecuted in Islamic countries.

Likewise, the Edict of Milan was about much more than 'tolerance'. It formalized the fact that in the previous year, 312 CE, Constantine had made Christianity the official religion of the ultimate instrument of Roman state power-- the army. He had decreed that "Chi Ro", the initials of Jesus' name in Greek, would henceforth be the official emblem of the Roman legions. And he had declared their motto to be " In Hoc Signo Vinces" ("In this sign thou shalt conquer").

Essentially, by 313 the Roman Army had become to Christianity what the Pakistan Army (with its motto "Jihad fi Sablillah") is to Islam. So Rome was a long way past 'tolerating the renegades' by this time.

I would suggest Catherine Nixey's "The Darkening Age" (2017) for a detailed and altogether more honest account of how Christianity destroyed any semblance of European civilization for nearly a thousand years through its takeover of Rome.

True, and I also object to people calling Hindus as pagans. There were many ancient religiouns that were grouped together as pagans. With the UKR conflict I recently learnt that there were some slavic pagan gods. The Azov battalion uses some of that imagery

Guys going a bit off topic but let me ask ‘how is the Josh’ ?

There was mood of despondency among the nationalist when the farm laws were withdrawn in the past few weeks we have seen

1. Sanghis in 4/5 states
2. OP Ganga rescues students from Sumy
3. Brhmos attack in paki land
4. Massive support for ‘Kashmir Files’
5. Thankfully Chornia and kids still remain head of Cong to finish there demise

Any one remember ‘Farm Laws ‘ ?
