People seem to be so focused on pet peeves that they are missing on real political developments in the country.

1) The Thakre clan has been defeated in the supreme court yesterday.

Now the EC is going to decide on the election symbol.

2) Yesterday in a program to inaugurate the national emblem on the new parliament building. Opposition was not invited.

3) Mahua Moitra seems to have donned a Suci Best. With the intention of blowing up the TMC.

4) when it comes to presidential election, NDA seems to be heading for a comfortable win.

5) Muslims with the penchant for wanton violence are solving the Hindu swing voters problem for Modi.

But I have not seen any discussions on any of the topics.

MNCs like Cisco, Infosys should have a record of this dude working in their companies. Either as a full time employee or as a contractor. You can't even get to the reception of these companies to hand over your resume. Security will not let you past the main gate unless you have a company badge/tag or an email hard copy that says you have an invite for a company interview/event.

If Zoobear worked in IT industry, he should have been paid a salary, deposited into a bank account. This must have a PAN number specified. And, he must have paid income tax. IT dept should be able to look up his returns, source of his income.

If there are NO ITR documents, it means he never worked in India as an employee (companies do TDS before employees' salaries are deposited in bank accts). No Cisco, no Infosys, no offer letter, no PAN, no bank acct

How could he could fly under the radar so successfully? What gives?

My guess is that he is a nobody, just a front for a group that posts in his name. Even after he was arrested and his devices were in police custody, his posts and tweets that would have been evidence against him kept getting deleted, even from his personal handles/accounts (not just the AltNews one).

The report said the meeting was attended by 30 to 35 members, although it did not reveal the names of the members present in the meeting at the Thackeray residence. During the meeting, Uddhav said he got a call from Union Minister Rajnath Singh, who is tasked with the responsibility of building consensus among the opposition parties for NDA’s presidential candidate.

However, Rajnath Singh’s greeting “Assalamu Alaikum’ raised the hackles of the former Maharashtra CM, who was reportedly taken aback by the Union Minister’s use of Arabic salutation to greet him. “Assalamu Alaikum” are Arabic words used by Muslims to greet each other. Hearing Rajnath Singh’s words, Uddhav Thackeray’s temper flared and he reportedly said, “Even though we were a part of the Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance, we have not given up Hindutva. You should keep this in mind.”

As per the report, after Thackeray’s disapproval, Singh greeted him with “Jai Shri Ram”.

The National Emblem

The National Emblem is an adaptation of the Lion Capital of King Ashoka at Sarnath. The original Ashoka Stambha has four lions mounted back to back on a circular abacus. It rests on a bell-shaped lotus. It contains sculptures of an elephant, a horse, a bull, and a lion separated by Dharma Chakras. You can only see three lions mounted on the abacus with a Dharma Chakra in the centre, a bull on the right, and a horse on the left.

The liberals are claiming that the Government of India has ‘changed’ the National Emblem and made it look angry and furious with visible’ fangs’. They also published photographs of a National Emblem statue that has a ‘calmer’ face and no teeth visible. However, when we see the original Lion Capital from Sarnath that was made over 2,300 years ago, it is notable that the mouths of the lions are open, and the teeth are clearly visible.

So if the real Ashok Stambha or the Lion Capital is very much similar to the cast of the National Emblem unveiled by PM Modi, how are liberals claiming that the National Emblem has ‘calmer-looking’ lions that too with images? The photograph they are sharing is of the National Emblem from the top of the Vidhan Sabha building in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

The National Emblem statue of Vidhan Sabha, Bengaluru, is very much different from the Lion Capital that was adapted as National Emblem in 1950. The real National Emblem has lions with open mouths, and teeth are clearly visible, which is not the case with the Bengaluru Vidhan Sabha building’s National Emblem.
