A few more data points, and **my views**:

* I think Pakistan has completely flipped to the US

* the US has sent people to Haiti, along with Coast Guard cutters. I fully expect the US to manipulate to "occupy" that nation - soon
* The New Atlas is reporting US-backed turmoil in Thailand, seeking a regime change there
* as we type a US SD sub-national team is in talks with sub-nationals in Turkey AND the head of the Turkey "Federal Reserve" ( cannot recall what they call it). If Turkey does not reverse course on the UKR situation, expect an attack on their currency. With an eye on regime change
* expecting a move for a regime change in Saudi Arabia. Heard that the reason MBS was given the PM title was to provide him with diplomatic immunity if he were to travel abroad - they (SA) have fears that MBS could be grabbed

Meanwhile in EU:
* Macron could be seeing "EOL" light flashing. He could be gone by year's end

All that in addition to Russia and Iran and Syria and .....

Oops, forgot:
* Taiwan and the US are in talks to manufacture arms for the US in Taiwan

* That Janis article is a great indicator of the jostling to prevent India from becoming a pole. These are just words. Get ready for a very violent transition period. It is coming. ALL existing poles have ALWAYS used very violent means to prevent challengers. Poles are not given - they are taken. India is a challenger

* Load up
Absolutely. This is realpolitik of geopolitics. Hard power is rarely given but taken. Beefing up military strength AND internal security and surveillance is a must.

Russia must not fall either for the same reasons.
Understatement of the century. :)

The losing side's khandan is purged for good. Not just canceled.

I was chatting with some friends and was asked the best/worst case IMO for India if Russia lost. I will not post the worst case here. But the best case, I said, was that the Church of India would be the strongest Christian entity in the world.

People simply do not understand the cost imposed on the losing side in polar disputes. This is way beyond "realpolitik".

I had mentioned Haiti a few posts ago. Now we grt know that the US and Canada have sent APCs to Haiti - to combat a well known gang leader(?), who the people seem to support.

Well

Russia urges to weigh consequences of bringing forces to Haiti, says envoy
United Nations, October 18. /TASS/. Russia urges to thoroughly weigh all consequences of potentially bringing foreign forces to Haiti, First Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN Dmitry Polyansky said at a meeting of the UN Security Council on Monday.

"Meddling in the political processes in Haiti, bringing the country under the control of ambitions of known regional players, which consider the American continent as their interior court, is unacceptable," ........

Here is another YT vid, before Liz Truss resigned this AM, where they - for the very first time - mention "India" as a potential nation that the UK (on behalf of the US I guess) could be sanctioned. The sanction pipeline: Russia and Iran (already under sanctions), followed by China, Turkey, and India

As I said, load up. It is coming

BTW, they - in this vid - cut across a lot of topics. Very good for getting a very broad picture.

So when you sanction two of the largest economies in the world.(plus the biggest gas station :D ) arent they sanctioning themselves in effect ?!!...a good recipe of full blown recession.

Interesting here is the take.from some (white) brits who are biting down the economic fall out .. the take being they have to suffer this only for a "short while" and afterwards it's all free and extra cheap gas ..and alls well ..don't know how they were led to belive this

Lot of pain being felt by European companies. The longer this war goes, stronger the US's position gets. It's in the best interest of UKR, Rus, and Euro to arrive at a compromise and work over their insecurities.

https://www.nytimes.com/2022/10/20/busi ... Position=1
Finland spent decades leveraging its location to become a popular gateway for Asian travelers. Its flagship airline, Finnair, offered flights from Tokyo, Seoul and Shanghai to Helsinki that, by crossing over Russia, were hours shorter than flights to any other European capital.
Russia closed its airspace to most European carriers in response to bans on Russian planes. What was once a nine-hour flight to Helsinki when routed over Russia’s 3,000-mile expanse would now take 13 hours and as much as 40 percent more fuel because it had to swoop around borders.
Finnair’s competitive advantage as the fastest connection from Asia and a travel hub for Europe vanished in a wisp.
The sudden disintegration of Finnair’s business model is part of the wide-ranging economic upheaval that the war in Ukraine is causing for businesses around the globe.
High energy prices have blitzed a wider range. The Hungarian Opera House’s Erkel Theater will temporarily close because it cannot pay its energy bill. Hakle, one of the largest manufacturers of toilet paper in Germany, declared insolvency because of soaring energy costs, while ceramic, glass, chemical, fertilizer and other factories across Europe have been forced to scale back or shut down.
The snack food industry, unable to get sufficient supplies of sunflower oil from Ukraine, has had to scramble for substitutes
The closed airspace caused Japan Airlines and ANA to cancel flights to Europe. And this month Virgin Atlantic said it was ceasing all traffic to and from Hong Kong
Operating losses in the first half of this year amounted to 217 million euros.

Russian Granary overbrimming this year.

https://www.rt.com/business/564983-russ ... n-harvest/
21 Oct, 2022
This year’s crop has already exceeded 147 million tons, the country’s Agriculture Ministry has said. “We expect to reap a maximum of 150 million tons. Of course, this is an absolute success for our farmers and the Russian agriculture industry as a whole,” he stated.

Russia’s newly joined territories, the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, and Kherson and Zaporozhye Regions, would add about 5 million tons of grain per year to Russia’s overall crop.

Russia is the largest wheat exporter in the world, followed by Canada and the US. The country has already delivered about 8.3 million tons of grain to foreign markets in the 2022 agricultural year, which began on June 1. It expects to export around 50 million tons in total by July 30, 2023. Plentiful wheat that is not genetically modified.

The current US regime and its supporters want nothing less than to dismember Russia from its resource rich regions. They will NEVER allow for any compromise or negotiated settlement by any of the parties. The Russians have demonstrated incompetence and the best outcome is stalemate in Ukraine until the US regime changes in 3 years. If that doesn't happen, there will be major European land war, potentially nuclear, that other large countries like India need to steer clear of. I believe the Chinese will avoid getting involved.

Germany will be taking the brunt of Ukr-Rus tussle and second in line is Poland. The US has whacked both these nations pretty hard. I wonder who is next? France and Italy are the remaining behemoths in Europe. UK will crumble on its own.

German's industry houses can shift to Rus with cheap energy and highly/comparable educated workforce. The industries can supply Rus-China-India-South effectively. But the EU will block such moves and of course the Deep State of US too.

Nato is indeed imminent in flexing its Fist according to Gonzalo Lira. Apparently the Poles & LIthuania army exercises were near Belarus borders. 101st Airborne is in Romania doing some exercising. Russia sent its army units over to Belarus just in case. Meanwhile, 400 million equipment and 400 NATO contractors were destroyed by Russia in March near Lviv, Ukraine as a clear warning shot earlier. Everyone knows that Europeans are no match fighting the Russians. So, tis US vs Russia. "Full spectrum dominance" on Air is a US doctrine. All the US deep state think tanks are gearing for war. Maybe this sparked the conversation of US defence secretary and Shoigu and they want to cool things down.

^^^^^

The equipment and 400 contracts in one missile strike was a few months ago

The rest is past month.

Talks between Shoigu and DM of US, UK, France, and Turkey were about the dirty bomb.

However there is talk about Russia cutting off US supplies by marching from Belarus down south, which is why supposedly the 101st is there

Some domestic pushback has started.

Liberals Urge Biden to Rethink Ukraine Strategy
In a letter led by Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.), chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, the 30 Democrats call on Biden to pair the unprecedented economic and military support the United States is providing Ukraine with a “proactive diplomatic push, redoubling efforts to seek a realistic framework for a ceasefire.”

A quote from a typical liberal (source)
I’m a liberal and you don’t speak for me Jayapal.

This is Hitler 2.0 we’re dealing with and so-called peace with this Russia is them always preparing for the next attack. Russia attacks U.S. elections and infrastructure for years.

The concern here is if the Rs take the House in January and the useful idiots of the far right and far left join together to screw over Ukraine in the future.
It is quite evident that one of the many motivations for US/Dems puppeteering this war against Russia is getting butt-hurt for results of 2016 elections...which they assign blame on Russia influencing via SM.

It's funny when I tell people, Biden went to Moscow in 2011 to expressly ask Medvedev to re-run for President again and Biden also publicly opposed Putin running for President

The height of arrogance for these sycophants to harp about Election interference when they did the same in public in Russia is just astounding. Every time a moron harps about Russian election interference I give them the example in 2011 and the election to help Yeltsin. That shuts them up pretty good

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland has published a complete list of demands that the republic makes to Germany in a diplomatic note on compensation for damage caused to the country during World War II.

Among these requirements:
- compensation for material and non-material losses in the amount of PLN 6 trillion 220 billion 609 million,
- compensation to the victims of aggression and German occupation and their family members for the damage and harm caused to them;
- systemic actions of the Federal Republic of Germany leading to the return of cultural property stolen from Poland located on the territory of Germany,
- return of assets and liabilities of Polish state banks and credit institutions stolen by the German state in 1939-1945.

‘No one can sit out the coming storm’: Putin’s milestone Valdai speech
https://www.rt.com/russia/565476-putin- ... takeaways/
Western hegemony should be replaced with an actual order respectful of all, the Russian leader said.
The West stokes conflict to preserve hegemony
the West has “no constructive ideas and positive development, they simply have nothing to offer the world except the preservation of their dominance.”
Rules for thee but not for me
“As soon as something becomes profitable for themselves, they change the rules immediately, on the go, in the course of the game.”
“Cancel culture” and canceling culture
“History, of course, will put everything in its place,” Putin said, adding that the the self-conceit of those who seek to cancel them is off the charts, “but no one will even remember their names in a few years, while Dostoevsky and Tchaikovsky and Pushkin will endure.”
Russia does not seek domination
At the same time, we ourselves are not seeking to become some kind of new hegemon,” Putin said.
Western hegemony is ending
“We are standing at a historic milestone, ahead of what is probably the most dangerous, unpredictable and at the same time important decade since the end of World War II. The West is not able to single-handedly manage humanity, but is desperately trying to do it, and most of the peoples of the world no longer want to put up with it,” Putin said.
What multipolar world should look like
“Above all, we believe that the new world order should be based on law and justice, be free, authentic and fair,” the Russian president said.

“The future world order is being formed before our eyes. And in this world order, we must listen to everyone, take into account every point of view, every nation, society, culture, every system of worldviews, ideas and religious beliefs, without imposing a single truth on anyone, and only on this basis, understanding our responsibility for the fate of our peoples and the planet, to build a symphony of human civilization.”

Restitution payments for Nazi atrocities are estimated at €1.3 trillion.

The “assets and liabilities of Polish state banks and credit institutions” confiscated by the Third Reich during the war years must also be given back

Berlin compensate “victims of German aggression and occupation, as well as their families, for the losses and harm suffered” under the Nazi occupation.

Berlin must also “fully rehabilitate the killed activists of the pre-war Polish minority in Germany.”

Germany maintains that all its financial commitments related to World War II were settled with the reunification of the country under the 1990 Two-Plus-Four Treaty.
