About time I write a piece, I think, on how BJP+RSS+ Hindutva’s violent rhetoric and corrosive policies towards Indian Muslims is making India and all Indians vulnerable to a terrorist attack. This is a serious national security problem.
Ignore the fact that IM has always held Indians at the threat of protests+wanton destruction of property & escalation if needed to achieve their objectives (aided by various factions & parties)...the above is how narrative shaping begins of justifying Islamic terrorist activities in India.

As if India did not face any terrorist attacks before 2014. Lahori illogic.

Very wise counsel by the learned counsel. I hope he takes on "the doctrine of separation of powers and basic structure of the constitution" in a future article.

Just happened to watch this, long version, it was in my feed. I'm thinking Google has a typecast defined for us folks "BRFite"

Great to see very competent but at the same time very grounded people working for the govt.

Also great to see several ministers and technocrats frequently engaging with public at various levels and open to discuss what they are observing, thinking and trying to do.

The transition from elitist maai baap sarkar to responsive bada bhai sarkar is such a profound shift in the way India is governed that we may not even realise this is happening. Jay ho!

https://www.cnbc.com/2023/01/04/nonprof ... -2021.html

George Soros’ backed nonprofit invested at least $140 million into politically charged nonprofits just one year before the midterm elections.

Those donations are on top of the more than $170 million Soros personally contributed during the 2022 midterm election cycle to help Democratic campaigns and political action committees.

The Soros nonprofit separately donated approximately $60 million to charitable 501(c)(3)s which are prohibited from participating in politics.

The donations bring Soros’ contributions to political campaigns and causes since January 2020 to roughly half a billion dollars — at the least — most of it steered through dark money nonprofit groups and going largely toward political causes aligned with the Democratic Party.

Soros’ nonprofit donations don’t always go directly to political causes. The funds sometimes flow from one of his nonprofits, then to another, before being spent on the advertising, organizing and social media campaigns that directly reach voters.

Many of the Open Society Policy Center’s 2021 donations weren’t necessarily earmarked to help sway the midterm elections, according to the foundation’s website. At the same time, Tom Watson, an editorial director at the Open Society Foundations, conceded in an email to CNBC that “there are definitely some OSPC grants that went to organizations working to combat voter suppression, support voter registration and expand civic participation.” Those are all core Democratic principles.

Complex network of nonprofits
The foundation network includes several affiliated 501(c)(4) groups, a type of nonprofit under the U.S. tax code that’s allowed to engage in political activities, as well as more traditional 501(c)(3) charitable organizations, its website and tax filing show.

All of the nonprofits fall under Soros’ Open Society Foundations network, which spans the globe. It describes itself as “the world’s largest private funder of independent groups working for justice, democratic governance, and human rights,” and it has dozens of offices in the U.S., Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East.

Son of billionaire George Soros has visited the White House 14 times in just over a year as logs show 37-year-old Democrat fundraiser repeatedly meets with top officials since Biden took office

Alexander Soros, 37, met with officials more than a dozen times last year as he cements his status as his father's political protegee,
Billionaire's son frequently posts shots of himself with Democratic politicians including Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama
It comes as Soros was forced to deny he funded Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg amid Trump arrest

Kajal Hindustani has been arrested by Gujarat police and thrown in Junagadh jail, for a speech where she talked of forced conversion.
Had she, instead, talked of Hindus being the worst of creatures 98:6 and Kafirs to be killed for refusing to convert 4:89, she’d be roaming free.

Agreed. His articulation is par excellence and he's been consistent in his positions and arguments if nothing.

After decades (centuries) of fear and suppression, the H voice is finding an audience, a rising assertiveness, confidence and a realization of the atrocities and cr@p our ancestors had putup with to sustain H dharma in Bharat. There will be folks going overboard now and then.

Painting 'em all with NOTA and other brushes is unhelpful. Leverage people's influence where alignment is there, ignore where it is not == a good mantra, imvvho.

Since we have no functioning opposition left at the center, there is very little good quality criticism of the government wrt policy or administration.

I've seen in budget discussion sessions a few small party MPs raising questions and making suggestions which the FinMin carefully listened to and some were incorporated. Kudos to them. But they get no press coverage. National opposition parties are hysterical anti BJP and do nothing useful beyond that.

It's left to pro hindutva folks like AR to raise questions and do constructive critique. Let's not shut them down.

In fact economic advisor to the PM Sanjiv Sanyal was saying recently that they are constantly seeking feedback and NaMo listens carefully and is known to change his opinion in the face of data and valid arguments.

Top leadership being surrounded by yes men and operating in isolation is the Congress style. That's why they project andh bhakt insults on others.

Advocates Sangram Kolhatkar & @anirudhganu are representing him

So now one more defamation case on RaGa ( he already has about 10 cases against him) including one by @RanjitSavarkar

Justices Joseph & Nagarathna have threatened to stay the Karnataka Govt order to scrap the 4% Muslim OBC quota.

Same Joseph who smiled in glee at the thought of genocide of Brahmins

Another one coming up: SC/ST reservations for converted Christians and Muslims. Another opportunity for Govt to lick feet of Hinduphobic judges

Most likely via Special Leave Petition as per the powers under Article 136 of the Indian Constituition. SC can hear cases directly. Kapil Sibal etc are champions in using this provision.

how is it possible that we have caste based reservation for Hindus, and religion based reservation for non Hindus??

if non Hindus get reservation based on a subjective concept of Educationally and Socially backward, why cant same be applied to hindus without CASTE??

this whole boogie of reservation with different yard stick is mind boggling and troubling.

sadly BJP is silent on this issue!!

currently, following the aap kejri cbi summons drama, must say, aap is not a party, aap is a cult, make no mistake, centred around the kej, their spokespersons are of an insane / brainwashed level never seen before with some unprecedented level of histrionics, even literal islamists of yore from inc, sp were level headed in comparison to these personnel. Also, they are supremely conceited, stating that the party that has been in power in multiple states for many decades is as a party of duffers, failures who do not understand how the indian polity functions!??

making this a separate post, before Obama's incoming, the press was awash in an optics of the republicans, of being dumb, not understanding how the polity or the world functions, that they went ballistics after 2016 and dialled this rhetoric to 11 is a different matter altogether.

But before during bush Jr end days in power, even in far off places like India, we had political cartoons depicting him as a thumb sucking retard... that playbook is what I believe the aap to be following, firstly terming the pm as uneducated who signs whatever papers are kept in front of him without understanding why (all stated in an expectedly haughty manner), then terming bjp as a party of duffers, they wish to create the halcyon days of 2006-8 political us in current Indian climate... but there is one thing that they will have to tackle for this line to work, there was no sm to counter the msm bias in those days and they happily and gleefully maligned authority that was not theirs, but I expect kejri's yes we can metamorphosis, in thought, deed and action

that they surely are, but this is the ecosystems (external and internal in that order) response to the vaccuum created in the march towards a Congress mukht Bharat... you may rid the country of the inc but there will be an entity that takes it's place, either morphing by thugbandhan alliances or by vigorous growth of select parties.. aap seems marked as a select party for vigorous growth, if they had been confined to the neighbouring states of pb and dl, it would have been a different matter, to perform as well as they did in gj primarily and goa to a lesser extent is just troublesome.... who are these voters anyways in gj and goa? are they simply swayed by freebies? Hopefully there is more, and not just a mercantilistic atmosphere

Then there are stupid urban elite who hat politicians.

Add to the whole drama is our political/babu nexus of terrible urban governance. I think Modi is going to tackle it in the next term.

This gives me the hope that this going to be tackled and they have it in their plans. But BJP has to do better job of communicating
