bala wrote: 29 Aug 2023 23:14 You know, the current generation of Brits take the line that they are not responsible for what their forefathers/mothers did in the name of colonialization. Well, that is understandable. However the victims of colonialization have deep scars inflicted upon them for generations, including poverty, self respect, self confidence, ridicule in west and much more. The colonialist took many things from India including the kohinoor diamond and various arts/crafts (British Museum is filled with them). The original texts in Sanskrit of various ancient tomes like Vedas are housed in their universities and their return would be forthcoming. The current generation can insist they do not wish to be associated with items that their forebears took from their erstwhile colonies and the proper thing to do is to return them back. Such a gesture would go a long way. In addition the current generation can erect a memorial for all the soldiers recruited from the colonies who died fighting their wars. This is again the proper thing to do and costs nothing. A little bit of empathy is all that is asked for. Furthermore, they can acknowledge that former leaders (Churchill, etc) were largely responsible in killing millions of Indians in man-made famines. Again this costs nothing, but asks for empathy. A deep sincere sorry on behalf of their forebears absolves the current generation of any further guilt. Many such acknowledgements go a long way towards healing the wounds perpetrated by their forebears. The Bank of England has the loot from colonies, and such assets/gold etc can be returned without the current generation feeling a pinch. Assets are held by banks which practically have nothing to do with day-to-day operations of money supply.

bala saar,

where in the world will you ever find the current generation who say that they are responsible for what their ancestors did

Their arguments is fallacious, prejudiced and culturally narcissistic. they are all enjoying the fruits or proceeds of utterly criminally activities of their forefathers who knew exactly what they were doing and the racist current generation is well aware of what their evilly unethical and genocidal ancestors did around the globe for multiple centuries. remember their vain boast about the "sun never setting........."

the current generation is so compassionate and caring, why not pay reparations for what their savage ancestors did, and let them start with the $45 trillion as the first tranche

India's current poverty, is in large part, traceable to the theft of India's wealth drained by their larcenous forbearers during the colonial times. Why did they drag Indians into their world wars, Precious Indian lives were lost in wars that the Indians did not agree to fight in but were coerced into supporting, and these were wars in which we had no dog

the current generation's which is self-absorbed, and culturally conceited, and their excuses are self serving and cynical, moreover, the britshits have hidden their colonial history, just like they and the commies hid the savagery of the malsic invasions against the Hindus

apparently, all these invaders, including the britshits, "civilized" us, so can anyone please quantify, exactly how much of "civilizing" went into the Hindu pagans, and the heathens over the many many centuries of "civilizing"........

the ever lasting litany of big talk about "malsic architecture" is nauseating, but where are the great examples of such art and architecture, back in the bleak and impoverished lands that these invaders originally came from

the artisans who built these structures were locals, the odd architect may have been a jihadi

don't get into that ancient Hindu malaise of forgetting and forgiving because the jihadis are doing the very same thing today, perpetrating extreme violence and hatred in the India of 2023

the BIF is banking on the Hindus to forget, remember words like "inclusion", "tolerance", and "equality"

these are woke words, and pray tell, whose words are these....

no one is advocating murder and mayhem on an industrial scale, but all we should tell them now is "enough, thus far and no further" and if they don't listen, they the only option left for the Hindus is to legally do unto others before they do unto you

And, remove the word minority, the abrahamics out number the Hindus on a global scale and have much more resources to deploy.

Truth to tell, the only true minorities in India are the parsis and the jews. Period

and never forget who thrust these millstone minorities around out necks, seized our temples and forcibly amended the Hindu laws while they never touched the others in the same fashion, and this was done in 1947 and many britshits from that era are still alive today

what about the RTE, is is a fair and just law ........and that is only a some years old, in an allegedly free and democratic India. This is exactly what the britshits would have done (and did via the BIF), also the words "secular" and "socialist" were rammed into the constitution at a time when hundreds of our politicos were imprisoned without charges

remember the gay marriage fiasco......, where did that spring from.... and how much effort was expended in trying to ram that through....

the britshit and the BIF deep state operating presently against India is the current generation, or do you not see it..... did you ever wonder why they tried to do it

just like the "farmer's agitation" and the "dilli riots", BIF money was in heavily in play during the gay marriage dramatics also

apparently, 303 is not a good enough number to amend such a vile law like the RTE, so perhaps, we should give them 543(?) then, just to put some lead in their pencils

Colonial history is totally glossed over if not suppressed in British schools. Most British youth are unaware of colonial loot, intellectual and scientific plunder, genocide. They are totally unaware that concentration camps were a British invention in South Africa and think apartheid is responsible for it. Idem for most colonial countries in Europe. With the same aplomb, most Americans are totally unaware and totally deny the extermination of millions of native Americans in the hands of the "free and the brave". They will continue to deny it since they know fully well that once they accept even a very small part of it, the flood gates of reparations will open. Woke is just feel good moral superiority at someone else's expense.

The number of bots unleashed in Youtube comment section is something to be seen. Accounts that are 11 years, 10 years, 6 years old just got activated to make 1 negative comments against Chandrayaan mission. State involvement either utilizing comment section of British channels to spread such hate or British agencies themselves cannot be ruled out. These do have serious security ramifications in attempting to influence public opinion outside of India through such tricks.

chetak ji, in India. :((

As for the repatriation, I would rather they take in 300 million of the poorest of the poor - only if they are willing ofc - from India and settle them across UK, Australia, and Canada. Give them land and/or jobs suitable to their skills.

No need for hard cold cash.

Michael Caine, Henry Cooper and now Gen Z? How National Service introduced in 1949 saw more than two million young men take up military roles before being phased out in 1960... and why it might be making a comeback

"Further manpower demands were imposed by the Cold War with the Soviet Union, whilst Indian independence in 1947 meant Britain no longer had the huge Indian Army to call upon. "

So they have to do their own fighting now !!

They can’t afford it. There’s a reason why they went all volunteer force: they couldn’t pay for all the conscripts’ salaries and upkeep and pay for other social services at the same time. Something had to give and that was the conscript force. Look at all the budget cuts that UK defense sustained over the last couple years. They won’t be able to do any conscript based on the current budget. And they would have to sacrifice other military programs and projects such as the nuke sub force or the aircraft carrier force just to pay for the cost of conscripts.

Not only that the conscript force won’t give you the quality you are looking for. What’s a better bet is an expansion of the territorial army or the reserves and teach basic combat training and reeducation and continuing learning and do some combat exercises over the weekend such as once a month and two weeks of intense training a year. Conscripts won’t get salaries but they can get certain benefits and discounts and stuff like that.

This argument can never be won… if we become a developed country the argument will be because we had Westminster model and railways and English and foreign aid and Lehru Ghandy. recall the brutalising hands were mostly Indian and the population now is highest in the world which the average tabloid will claim meant Britshits were kind and generous.

Best is to steer clear of the brutes and leave them with their favourite Bakis…and enjoy the show as the new breeds take over from the boats and beyond . GB going back to being the brutes they were during Roman times as the Viking, Saxon, Gaelic genes will have mostly escaped overseas.

Having said that the younger generation thanks to lefty ideas is better behaved if not universally ignorant
. It is only the boomer generation that floods such tabloids drunk on their good fate and kindness of strangers . They occupy the whole media space with their fermented minds and spread the gutter when they get a chance.

In the future one can always ask a fresh citizen to come over every year to Delhi and have the bottoms spanked cherry red as means of compensation for their ancestors but then that is giving too much agency to them.

The Brits are genetically Angel-Saxon (German) and Normans (French). The former are places in Germany, angel and saxon are districts in Germany. In the south of India especially TN/Madras presidency the Brits were called Angel-a-karan meaning one who came from Angel. The Royal line also is German origin, house of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha which transformed to Windsor. Effectively, the Brits are cousins of Germans. The mean brutish streak resides in their genes.

Little tidbit: the kohinoor diamond housed by the Queen as crown jewels has ravens known as the guardians of the tower of london. These ravens are supposed to guard against a curse of such large diamonds so no misfortune happens against the crown.

They will jump at the offer and cull the able bodied & minded best 10% as slaves and let the rest starve to death, as they have done it before. That will still give them 30 million workers/soldiers. Careful what you wish for.

Indian inventions shaped the modern world and were stolen by the West (Brits, colonizers) - Jeffrey Armstrong of the US.

Jeffrey Armstrong explains how India civilized & shaped the modern world & how the West stole & claimed credit for Indian inventions. Honor knowledge from the source, instead of copying and claiming false authorship. The Western world never acknowledged India's contribution to the world. The word Russi came from Rishi and hence Russia according to Jeffrey. Sanskrit is the root language from which Latin and all the Euro languages derive their language. Music came from India. Check out the nepal sarangi vs violin. Guitar - geet-tar. All Indian Architecture was aligned to the stars including sun directions (NSEW). Martial arts originated in India. Medicine (including surgery) came from India. Botany too. The original silk road was established by Indian traders. Shipping was dominated by Indian navigators worldwide. Yoga and religion spread along the silk road.

Apparently Rishi Sunak is so widely well-known and wildly popular in India, his officials expect him to be “mobbed” when he visits for G-20. Mr & Mrs Sunak will also be visiting “Humayun’s tomb, a spiritual landmark for Hindus”.

Nalanda University in 1100s had around 9 million manuscripts which were burned for well over 3 months by Turkic mamluk Kilji. During the Britshit rule of India, many centers of learning continued with existing tradition in patashalas which were conducted at temples. The mutts of India preserved Vedas, puranas, ithihasa, and other texts. The main center was Shringeri in the south. Using a false flag operation, the brits carted away most of the texts from Shringeri. Similar operations were done at other mutts under false pretexts. The AtharvaVeda was a text that contained many practical know-how-why techniques gained by munis/rishis in Vanvas (forest), some of them only orally transmitted, never written down. These texts found their way to Germany and Britain. Universities in these nations housed them and scholars carefully sifted the contents using Sanskrit Vidwans from India. Vimana texts for example formed the basis for V2 rockets of Nazi Germany.

Initially the Sanskrit texts were studied using Indian Sanskrit scholars. There was guarded admiration by the colonialist for the knowledge in the texts. However, things changed when christian/evangelical faction got wind of translations. The Brits used the same Sanskrit scholars and slipped in their versions in Sanskrit which suited them. Hence many of the original texts were altered and poison injected into them. The Brits made up some fantastic yarn about mythical/made-up characters which Indians during those times never heard about. Over time these false stories were drilled into the populace and became the narrative. The Adi Shankara debate with Misra never happened, since Adi Shankara was in 510 BC not wikipedia date. Same goes for Chandragupta Maurya date. Buddha, the original one from Bihar lived around 1800 BC. The current versions of Sanskrit text that we have in India is highly suspect since there was wanton changes made by the Brits. In BhagawadGita Krishna always emphasized Shraddha since modern day Bhakti was never a concept. Shraddha (see Shraddha Suktam श्रद्धा सूक्तम in RigVeda 10.151 श्रद्धां प्रातर्हवामहे श्रद्धां मध्यन्दिनं परि।श्रद्धां सूर्यस्य निम्रुचि श्रद्धे श्रद्धापयेह नः॥5॥) has everything to do with universal consciousness that pervades the universe.

We also have things like Vaisheshika Sutra by Sage Kanada, who has enunciated all of Newton's laws much before the apple fell on his head Newton. His force equation has the caveat of certain reference frames, wherein the equation is F=c*M*A, in our reference frame c=1. The periodic table of Mendelev is inspired by Sanskrit letters which Mendelev acknowledges. Shroedinger equation is also inspired by the Vedas. Time dilation is a known concept by many Indians and also in the Vedas. Music notes/scale came from the RigVeda and SamaVeda.

I have watched that video, some of his claims may be true, however I am not too sure about his claim about how the name of Russia came about. The "Rus" were a tribe of vikings who migrated to the area that is now Russia.

Just a quick Google brought this up https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Names_of_ ... d_Ruthenia

With regards to the Silk Road https://education.nationalgeographic.or ... silk-road/

There is also no evidence that mohammed visited. Also I don't really agree with his claim that mohemmed never intended islam to be violent and intolerant.

Ancient India was much more advanced in mathmatics and surgery was being pioneered there.
True about "The Western world never acknowledged India's contribution to the world"

However we do not want to fall into the same pattern of claims by the peacefools.

On Russia: there are many sites in Russia which have ancient Indian artifacts. Whether the name came from Vikings or India is debatable, much of the language of Russia has Sanskrit root words.

On Silk Route: many nations along the Silk route were practicing some ancient Vedic rituals and later morphed into Buddhism. Buddha from Bihar was in 1800 BC. The media tries to project everything as China since the CCCP bought them out. Chengis Khan of Mongolia invaded many nations but refused to invade India, why?

Don't want to derail the thread:

On Islam: the original version of Quran was in Kerala, one of the oldest mosques in the world. The book was very slim. Today Quran was stamped as the official one by Saudi Arabia quite recently. Note that there were 30 odd versions of Quran. The original direction of prayer (qibla) was pointing towards Petra in Jordan. Later mosques changed them to Mecca. Within Islamic scholars, there is a debate on whether Mohammad the prophet existed or many people/characters were amalgamated as Mohammad. I don't want to get into this topic.

Jeffrey also notes that in the Roman Senate there is no mention of a physical person called Jesus Christ until 325 AD, Nicean Council. The Nicean itself argues about the spiritual Jesus rather than the physical Jesus.

'Wagh nakh’ that Shivaji used to kill Afzal Khan to come home from UK
The ‘wagh nakh’ is coming home. With the UK authorities agreeing to give back the dagger shaped like tiger claws—used by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to kill Afzal Khan, general of the Bijapur sultanate, in 1659—state cultural affairs minister Sudhir Mungantiwar will visit London later this month to sign an MoU with the Victoria and Albert Museum, where it’s on display.

If everything works out as planned, the famed wagh nakh may be headed home this year itself. “We have got a letter from the UK authorities saying they have agreed to give us back Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s wagh nakh. We might get it back for the anniversary of the day when Shivaji killed Afzal Khan, based on the Hindu calendar. Some other dates are also being considered and the modalities of transporting the wagh nakh back are also being worked out,” Mungantiwar said.

“Apart from signing the MoU, we will also look at other objects such as Shivaji’s Jagadamba sword which is also on display in the UK, and take steps to bring these back as well. The fact that the tiger claws are on the way back is a big step for Maharashtra and its people. The date of Afzal Khan’s killing is November 10 based on the Gregorian calendar but we are working out dates based on the Hindu tithi calendar,” Mungantiwar said.

Modiji will respect Rishi Sunak during the visit, as Atithi Devo Bhava. And also because he believes in Real Politick. Mr. Sunak's government will last till the next election, if he is lucky. Otherwise he will be replaced sooner by another Tory, Insha'Allah.

Sunak is the best hope for a post-Brexit UK and I won't be surprised if the voters realize this. Now realizing this, looking past their own misery, and voting positively for a brown guy may be asking for too much but who knows, it could happen.

Well, that record belongs to Boris and I believe that Rishi will not equal it unless he wins the next election. I did say that winning the PM job was a poisoned chalice.

Aldonkar ji,

sunak was poisoned politically even before he was handed the chalice....

he is just a blame soaking stopgap arrangement

unless he pulls a rabbit out of the hat

sadly, after brexit, rabbits seem to have vanished from the UK

sunak seems to be well aware of his limited utility, (and longevity of tenure is not in his job description), else he wouldn't be parading his Hindu credentials so openly, in a country that makes no bones (and never has) about its sectarian preferences in its ruling classes

The country is filled with white supremacists, and their long standing colonialist characteristics are irrefutable proof of this socially dominating and ingrained thought process....

currently, the pakis also have a very similar arrangement, a motley crowd (caretaker govt) that is allegedly running their country but the guy actually holding the reins, as well as, the whip, is their army chief, who is heading an army that is increasingly recalling with hungry nostalgia, their 1971 POW days in India, where they were at least guaranteed three square meals every day, by a generous Sam Manekshaw

Birmingham to unveil sculpture celebrating women who wear hijab
A new sculpture celebrating women who wear hijab will be unveiled in Birmingham next month.

Renowned sculptor Luke Perry designed The Strength of the Hijab and it will be installed in the Smethwick area in October. The sculpture is believed to be the first in the world to celebrate women who wear the head covering. The sculpture is 5 metres tall and weighs around a tonne.

“The Strength of the Hijab is a piece which represents women who wear hijabs of the Islamic faith, and it’s really there because it’s such an underrepresented part of our community, but such an important one,” Mr Perry said. “They need visibility, it’s so important, so working with the community to come up with the designs has been really exciting because we didn’t know what it was going to look like until now. “The location of where it’s going is Smethwick, [where] there’s a humongous part of the community that is from the Islamic faith. “They wear the hijab as part of their community, and it is really underrepresented.

“It’s something which people feel very strongly about, identify with, [and] they feel happy about and comfortable with.
