are we seriously talking about getting to the Middle East and setting things right? The conflicts over there have been going on for centuries if not longer, see https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basus_War
The Basus (or Basous) War (often written al-Basus War; Arabic: حرب البسوس ḥarb al-basūs) was a 40-year conflict between two cousin tribes in Arabia of Late Antiquity which was started by the killing of a camel owned by a woman named Al Basus under the protection of her brother in law Mura.

The Taghlib and Bakr tribes fought for roughly forty years (from 494 to 534 CE), locked in a perpetual cycle of vengeance. In parts of the Arab world today, the Basus War has been incorporated into an aphorism warning people against vendettas.
ergo, the people over there are of an excitable nature and have held grudges ever since evolving from the primordial ooze, anyone crazy enough to stick their dck in that meat grinder for nebulous reasons is most welcome, and the chatterati have been holding dialogues to that end for many years, we however know that this is the gilded age of mercantilism, we will issue statements like this is not an era of war, terrorism bad, we will zag when the crowd zigs ang try to make the best deal hot our people, delusions of global statesmanship are tye preserve of airheads like nehru not grounded individuals

hamas is a poky little outfit, shunned and mocked in the arab world.

The palestinians are a pretty entitled lot and they throw their weight around in the gulf countries, often creating trouble in workplaces and in the streets. They are untrustworthy and unreliable and always carry a huge chip on their shoulders accusing one and all of betraying/abandoning them to their fate instead of helping them as part of the ummah obligations

There are several puppet masters behind hamas and the palestinians in general who have aided them in their attack on israel. Four such jihadi supporting puppet masters come to mind immediately and none of them are white. There is a strong likelihood that some goras also may be involved on a job sharing basis

were some of the logistics, financial, and mass mobilization lessons learned from the shaheenbagh riots and attacks and the farmers agitation both of which were wholly supported by the BIF applied in the israeli swarm attack

The abrahamic accords with israel has riled many in the middle east, and the latest, the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor with haifa port in israel and piraeus port in greece set to become transshipment hubs has upset both the cheeni and the turkis, not to mention the pakis.

How is it possible that israel did not receive intelligence from the 5eyes, when they so diligently fed street gossip ablaut nijjar to justinder

The point one is making is: is it possible that India could also be destabilized and utter chaos created, (just like what they have done in israel) using the ISIS, PFI, and the naxals

Enough gold, drugs and weapons and beedi, afghan, and rohingya scum have been infiltrated into India with more to come

Hamas extremists are supported by Iran, which sees Fatah (party led by late PLO founder Arafat) as too soft and conciliatory toward Israel.

With this latest gambit, Iran is using Hamas as their new Hezbollah, hoping to get a repeat of Israel's failed invasion of Lebanon, which allowed Hezbollah to come out on top.

There may not be a huge intel failure if one looks at it dispassionately. All that is needed are few very motivated cells who can carry our 26/11 type of attack and sieges. Once there is a breach the rest of the yahoos just stream in randomly and all of them will do the same thing without any co-ordination which is to kill or kidnap. The main strike cells (para gliders and ones attacking checkpoints) need to be radio silent and once they are able to achieve an their initial targets the remaining population yahoos will pour in for their piece of action. In Indian context, just like PA opening a gap on the border using some tactical or surprise element and then all border areas Raakit-mards will pour in form those gaps with the dera-ghazi copy of AK47's.

Of course, yes. Or was that be a rhetorical question, Chetak sir?

How did the 26/11 attacks happen.. sea borne infiltration. Mumbai was just too far to do a hang glider assault or fence-cutting bharat todo padyatra across the LOC.

Only we have it much worse... there are a lot of internal assets (theirs) which have and will respond and provide support for the 'holy calling'.

Remember Israelis have become woke too.
That wonder woman actress Gal Gaddot was spewing venom on modi and India as if this lady has any idea of India. Same thing with that moron who was invited as judge in film festival crapping all over Kashmit Files.

Take money from soros and diss India, Israel for personal gains and Virtue signaling.

There were umpteen reports that most the protests against judicial reforms were orchestrated by soros and a section of mossad. When they listen to idiots in state department, this is bound to follow.

Gentle reader, I have noticed for a very long time that media reports from India pertaining to Muslims are invariably bylines by reporters with Muslim names.

So far, I have not come across one report from Israel with a Muslim author.

Perhaps I am being too suspicious and the media are paragons of fair play and king Solomon like adjudication skills. Yea that must be it.

SRajeshji, Israel does have conscription for a term of 32 months.
See https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conscription_in_Israel

Even if you are military trained, coming under fire with automatic weapons when you are unarmed well, the sanest option is to run. Especially if you are in open space with no cover. Reality and Shahrukh don’t mix.

Snide references from Americans about gun control. Israel has the same type of gun control as India. Personal defense weapons like knives, tasers or pepper spray won't be sufficient for such an attack. The American POV being that there would be sufficient firearms with civilians to put up some resistance.

The US Carrier Strike Group Twelve with its flagship Gerald R. Ford [ 1st in class ] moves towards Israel in show of support

The GRFCSG consists of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 12 staff, Gerald R. Ford, Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 8, Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 2 staff and units, Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Normandy (CG 60) and the Information Warfare Commander.

The ships of DESRON 2 are the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Ramage (DDG 61), USS McFaul (DDG 74) and USS Thomas Hudner (DDG 116).

Imagine similar strategies and tactics being used in J&K, Northeast, even Punjab.
In our case there are no Jehadis or terrorist. It is pakistan. Answer this question, if they attack with their armored brigade say in chamb area what will you do? We will do the same when they attack this way or that way. Stop Dhoti shibber and the retaliation that is coming.
Exactly! They won't dare to even think of doing it in Punjab, Jammu or Rajasthan border areas. My issue is with the coastal area pockets of Kerala, Bengal, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil nadu, etc which might be like Gaza strip with access to sea and have had already amassed rockets, etc.

1) When seen at a micro level, I can subscribe to that (with some chutney, etc)

2) However, if I pan out a wee bit, then the picture is a little different. This Hamas attack is really a threat to all moderate Islamic states. These moderate states have to be very concerned about internal uprisings - which I am dead sure is one of the goals of Hamas. After all, Hamas has called for a rebellion on the West Bank and from Lebanon.

3) From a Bharatiya PoV, it will never be restricted to an Islamic, jihadi operation. Bharat should fully expect an internal, Pakiland, BD, Myanmar, Syrians, perhaps Nepal, China, and perhaps even Turkey to join in. And, Neocons cheering all the way.

Actually, in some circumstances I expect Russia to join them too.

I am not convinced Bharatiyas will drop their tendency to sit and analyze.

_____________________

We are getting ever so close to fighting a full-blown politically incorrect conflict. With the treatment of women (nothing new from an Islamic PoV), Hamas has given us such a gift (PI). I think it was Major Gaurav Arya (apologies if it was someone else) who stated that Israel should invade Gaza and convert all Muslims. Well, two mosques have been bombed. Are we on that track? TBD.

The al-Amin Muhammad Mosque is destroyed by Israeli airstrikes responding to Hamas attack according to Forbes. It was built in 2008 and they tend to use those buildings as shields for their weapons, supplies and men because they know Israel usually doesn’t attack those.
