Canadian Government is telling its citizens trapped in a war zone in Israel that they can't do anything to help them because they have a holiday on Saturday, Sunday and Monday

One needs to.be thankful about GOI and its embassies across the world !!

Seems Canadian ones are only for " special work"

At least some are acknowledging they have a problem, but they are far from any diagnosis and further away from coming up with any paths towards course correction.

Unless they have their own version of Modi, they will keep floating adrift aimlessly like falling automn leaves swept by global currents swirling into depths of rotten undergrounds.

Of course not!

(Background: Trudeau has been calling everyone and whining like a little b***h about India. The twitter joke linked this to Bajaj Finance's telemarketing strategy - which is seen as a annoying and aggravating customer acquisition approach. Bajaj , in one of concalls/press meets said that this is for them (a) a valid approach (b) translates to 15% success rate (c) were aware of the bad reputation it is creating (d) they aren't going to change the approach. Bajaj Finance , is from an stock investment point of view , a good stock to hold according to several investment firms. They have a record of 30%+ CAGR over last several years.)

Given current West Asian events, I wondered why the British Empire did not settle Jewish people in Canada instead of West Asia, and found this online.

Canada, antisemitism and the Holocaust
Despite the frantic efforts of advocates both within and beyond the Canadian Jewish community, Canada would admit only a small number of Jews attempting to escape Nazi oppression. Between 1933 and 1948, less than 5,000 Jewish refugees were allowed into Canada – the smallest number of any Allied nation.

Anyone know if all the 41 canucks who were "requested" to leave India by 10 oct have indeed left or are some still lurking around in dilli

if so, will the GoI now be required to remove the straggler's पतलूनs by revoking their diplomatic status forthwith

kanadas definition of "freedom of speech" and "terrorism" is interesting. Indian netizens need to keep a note of this and remind them when $hit hits them inside kanada

Okay - truth is even funnier .. Not making it up -
Recently there was a very strong statement in support for Israel from US, UK, Italy, France ityadi ... but Canada was not included. Ditto in today's Biden's live speech .. Neither (AFAIK) in Netanyahu tweets ( which mentions Modi, Biden etc)..

This in spite of Canada having one of the large Jewish population.....

Not making it up..

It’s not just that Canada didn’t sign onto the statement from five of the G7 countries on Israel and the Hamas attack, "we weren’t invited."
:rotfl:
Canada, a NATO ally of all five countries that made the statement, a fellow member of the G7, wasn’t even called and asked to join the call or sign the statement.

Canada is a Nazi state, they give standing ovation to Nazis. Why would anyone invite them to support a Jewish state.

Turdeau can’t even manage up to the low standards of the Biden administration. Here’s a pic from the G20 meeting in Delhi where Biden is pointing a finger in his face. He’s got to eat that sh!t sandwich.

Pratyush ji.

can pappu looks on the verge of tears

the only thing that was bothering turdeau at the time was pinning down India for the alleged disposal of garbage

In his eagerness to cut Modi down to size, he must have over reached to get rogered like that in public

can pappu seems to have forgotten that he is talking to the most powerful man in the world and that man is not woke like can pappu, but even though biden is controlled by wokes, he will lash out once in a while

sunak is watching with great interest, which is probably why the britshits stayed so circumspect throughout the fiasco

sunak is very eager to sign the trade deal with India because he fears the consequences if the kaneda fiasco spirals out of control and the britshits get caught up in the collateral damage, which is why he, pen in hand, is rushing down to India very soon

Canadian diplomats remain in India as withdrawal deadline passes

Probably due to dire shortage of drug free airplanes to ferry returning diplomats  .

There is always this option via the Attari crossing. Our neighbors are not quite particular.

Canada granted asylum to another Khalistani that hosted armed terrorists today. Bad for optics. Canadians not evicted, and Canada back to its old habit.

Vote Bank calling!

It's being leaked when it adversely affects Israel - but how many similar instances get ignored because it was merely India suffering their bias/prejudice?

From the link above ...
...

Ottawa was trying to resolve the situation with New Delhi, which had warned that diplomats who stayed beyond the deadline would lose diplomatic immunity, said several people familiar with the situation. One Canadian official said Ottawa had not withdrawn any diplomats ahead of the deadline.

...

Several days earlier, Joly also held a secret meeting with India’s foreign minister S Jaishankar in Washington, said people familiar with the situation. Canada’s foreign ministry declined to comment.

India has cited the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations as justifying its call for parity. Canada has rejected that argument, saying New Delhi is misreading the treaty that provides a framework for diplomatic ties.
...
“If India is a law-abiding nation, it will respect the terms of the Vienna convention . . . and act accordingly,” said Roland Paris, a foreign affairs professor at the University of Ottawa.  :rotfl:

Is it Canada's birth right to stuff three times more diplomats in India, as India has in Canada? These dudes are running operations in India and their extra presence is inimical to our national security. They are up to no good, but they are sticking to India as leeches and refuse to leave

What's wrong with Canadian government?

It seems that they are itching for the fight.

Okay, no problem.

The 41 people are already persona non grata.

Tell the Canadian pappu, as long as they stay in Canadian embassy building they're safe. Any movement, they will be subject to hospitality of local police force.

They have to be told to shut down, the Chandigarh consulate.

I think loss of immunity does not mean they have to leave but then the GOI had asked for parity in numbers. What kind of idiots are they ?
