For decades we've been hearing of possible collapse of pukistan. Reassuring that it may sound, we should go strictly by 'I'll believe it when I see it '.
They have collapsed havent they ?! They aren't flourishing for sure.

In the current post-colonial era we live in, redrawing borders is extremely difficult. It needs a bloody war. May be Bangladesh was an exception since no one thought West-Pakis would fold so quickly. East-Pak could become a viable state since it had no borders with West-Pak, and India was and continues to be a very benign and generous (in some ways even a naive) neighbour.

We want Pakis to remain as they are for a few years more, and hopefully once their infighting and internal wars have consumed all the poisonous radical jihadi terrorist people there, if any better ones are left, lets see... For the moment having them as a country helps us as a westward buffer as well, despite whatever needling they can do now and then on the LOC/border.

One more demand for seniors like Partha ji to add to the list of 'The world owes pakistan...'

Yawn - Pakistan needs $ 340 bn to meet climate challenges, says FM Akhtar
Caretaker Finance Minister Dr Shamshad Akhtar said on Wednesday Pakistan is facing a trade-off between raising climate finance and development finance.

“I think we need to be conscious that getting money is a big issue that we face in addressing the climate agenda,” she said, noting that seeking money for climate finance undercuts other development finance requirements.

The country needs an estimated investment of $340 billion to address climate and development challenges between 2023 and 2030. The amount is equivalent to 10 per cent of the cumulative GDP during the same period, even though the country is responsible for less than 1pc of the world’s planet-warming gases.

$340 billion is 400% true. If it was a made up number it would have been a nice round figure like $350 billion or $500 billion. This shows some serious research has been done before placing the demand before the rest of the world.

Total expected investment into Pakistan in the next few years:

1. $340 billion - climate change
2. $100 billion - Army chief bringing it from Gulf
3. $25 billion - investment from Saudi Arabia as announced by PM
4. $40 billion - remaining investment from CPEC
5. $150 billion - compensation for economic loss due to war on terror
6. $10 billion - funds from IMF
7. $26 billion - pledged funds from some European conference that happened last year

Wow! close to a trillion dollars inflow!! Looks like Pakistan will soon displace India to become the number one economy in South Asia.

Total is coming to about $691 billion USD.

What about the funds for the fight against Polio... at least there the pakis don't have any competition from the likes of Ukraine and Palestine.

Also shouldn't the target be a halal $786 billion (and muliples thereof) hain?

They did seaborne operations years ago. So paragliding type attacks are a question of when and not if.

If they happen where would the probable locations be? Given the operating constraints - range, AD coverage...

Reports coming in of a TTP attack on pak Air Force base Mianwali. Initial tweets indicate several planes destroyed on the ground. Situation is fluid, waiting for the official denial to come in from ISPR which will 100% confirm this news.

.

In a statement today, the Inter-Services Public Relations said: “On Nov 4, 2023, in the early hours of the day, Mianwali Training Air Base of Pakistan Air Force came under a failed terrorist attack which, Alhumdollilah, due to the swift and effective response by the troops, has been foiled and thwarted, ensuring the safety and security of personnel and assets.”

It further said that three alleged terrorists were “neutralised while entering the base while remaining three terrorists have been cornered/isolated due to timely and effective response by the troops”.

“However, during the attack, some damage to three already grounded aircraft and a fuel bowser also occurred,” the ISPR said.

The chap forgot to flare before landing. Look at where his hands are.. Just below his shoulders. When you see you are going to run into something, you need to pull the steering lines down to stop asap. If he had pulled them all the way down 20 meters away, he would have had a gentle 'bird hop' landing.

Not enough practice/instruction.

Lets not speculate on probable locations. Not our job to run an OSINT analysis that can help terrorists. But there are lots of VPs.

The only deterrence is the guarantee of an extremely strong, 'eent se eent bajana' response. With the 70 odd F16s and the 24 J10s, they might be itching for a balakote rematch.

I hope this time, we finish their airforce for a decade. The Rafales are more than a match for anything they have, but we may not have sufficient numbers. And the original R77 is long in the tooth. Not sure how MICA-NG compares to AMRAAM-C and PL-15.

The pakis have better non OSINT sources to use, including those on our side of the border, civilians and military. They are not going to depend on BRF forums for planning. In any case no one here is asking or going to post google map co-ordinates.

Suppose they do send airdropped jihadis across (as opposed to the current lot crossing the borders). What would an 'eent se eent bajana' response entail?

If the reports of yesterdays attack on mianwali base are true, the irregulars destroyed more PAF aircraft on the ground. than they lost in the air action post balakot.

The logical conclusion is that the new jihadis are finishing off the allies of the Paki Army.

https://theprint.in/world/who-are-tehre ... 32284/?amp
Quote:
The TJP was reportedly founded in February this year. In a post on X on 24 February, the TJP announced its establishment, along with naming Mullah Muhammad Qasim as its spokesperson, reported the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), a Washington D.C. based think tank.

The statement in February also reportedly outlined its goals, mentioning “Sheikh-ul-Hind” as an inspiration for its jihadi ideology. Sheikh-ul-Hind refers to Mahmud Hasan Deobandi, the third principal of the Darul Uloom Deoband, an Islamic seminary located in Deoband, Uttar Pradesh.

“We want to convey the good news to the religious circles of Pakistan that after long discussions with elder Islamic scholars and requests from sincere people, we have reached the conclusion that the objective for which the movement of Sheikh-ul-Hind emerged was destroyed after the independence of Pakistan,” said the TJP statement in Urdu, as translated by MEMRI.

“We have reached the conclusion that except through armed jihad, the enforcement of an Islamic system is not possible in Pakistan,” the TJP statement added, while announcing the establishment of the organisation under emir Maulana Abdullah Yaghistani, as reported by MEMRI.

In UK/Canada, only Hardeep Singh Nijjar is a question mark because his involvement in gang wars is not clear. But if Nijjar placed the hit on Ripudaman Singh Malik then his murder may be explained as a revenge killing.

Ripudaman Singh Malik was killed by two contract killers, Tanner Fox and Jose Lopez, both of them arrested and charged by the Canadian police. Malik was under threat from the Khalistanis because he had written a letter praising PM Modi for his efforts to bring back Khalistanis into the Indian fold. Nijjar denied allegations that he was involved, but notably, when Malik was killed, Nijjar came to mind to many people. Perhaps this kind of "commercial" contract for assassination of Nijjar was placed by somebody and is to my mind what the Canadian agencies warned Nijjar about; and it would be likely revenge for the killing of Ripudaman Singh Malik.

The Coroner of Birmingham and Solihull in the UK found nothing suspicious in the death of Avtar Singh Khanda.

Gurpatwant Singh Pannun was rumored to be dead in the US, but that was obviously false.

Sukhdool Singh Gill (Sukha Duneke) shot dead in Winnipeg, Canada, was a gangster.

Other two major killings were in Pakistan: Paramjit Singh Panjwar and Happy PhD Harmeet Singh. Perhaps these are TJP killings?

Did I miss anyone?

Well technically he is correct... the Americans didn't leave behind the equipment.. they gifted it away

Yawn - US clarifies ‘no equipment left behind’ by its forces during Afghanistan pullout
Expressing condolences on the recent wave of terror attacks in Pakistan, including the Mianwali air base assault, the US State Department has affirmed that “no equipment was left behind by American forces during the Afghanistan withdrawal” that could be utilised by terrorists to target Pakistan.

The US State Department’s principal deputy spokesperson, Vedant Patel, made this statement during a press briefing on Tuesday, in response to a query regarding reports that Pakistani security forces had allegedly recovered US-made weapons from terrorists after the recent airbase attack.

In a press briefing on Tuesday, the US official was asked to comment on the US counterterrorism cooperation with Pakistan and the reports of American weapons allegedly used in the Mianwali air base attack.

Patel responded: “We are aware of the reports of multiple attacks on Pakistani security forces and facilities earlier in November and we offer our condolences to the families of the victims, but I want to be very clear about this: There was no equipment left behind by American forces during the withdrawal from Afghanistan.”

Keeping the flag of jihadistan flying high everywhere

14 Pakistanis arrested for terror activities in Spain
Police in Spain arrested 14 Pakistan-origin individuals and busted a suspected jihadist network based in the country, Euro Weekly News reported.

The arrests were made as part of an operation initiated by Spain’s General Information Commissioner’s Office after the anti-terrorist alert level was raised in the country following Hamas’ attack on Israel a month ago. Spanish Security Forces redoubled surveillance on suspects in order to avoid possible attacks, Euro Weekly News reported.

David Atherton, a journalist at The European Conservative posted on social media app X stating that these 14 Pakistani jihadists are linked to Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) an Islamic extremist political party in Pakistan.

Looks like the unknown gunman are either abducting or killing the known (unknown are the only known who must not be named). Sumit Peer and Sanjay Dixit in Jaipur Dialogues discuss the unknown gunmen in Puki land. We need a memorial for the "Unknown Gunman" of Pakiland. Don't know whether this is due to no-food, no-fuel, no-energy in Puk land, aam people are taking into their hands to eliminate those who were hoarding resources. The planes supplied by China is on fire and Russia is asking back their helo engines given to Pukes. Balochis are on a spree to take out the PA types who harass them, the number of dead are not being revealed.

Pakistan dreams of India on the FATF blacklist:
https://www.samaa.tv/208734087-india-li ... klist-soon

> According to sources, India will also be added to the FATF's blacklist soon. The Narendra Modi government of India is providing financial support to terrorist organisations on a large scale and India’s involvement in several terrorist activities around the world has been proven, they added.

This is the case study they cite:

https://www.fatf-gafi.org/content/dam/f ... inline.pdf
Box 6.2. Case study: Combining Online and Offline Solicitation of Funds
Indian officials reported that a violent extremist organisation under investigation collected funds through well-structured networks spanning the entire country. Resorting to solicitation at mosques and public places, the group’s fundraising tactics included offline and online mechanisms, such as circulating QR codes and account details through which donors were asked to send money. Over 3 000 bank accounts and informal value transfer systems were used. The accounts involved both domestic and foreign transactions, making this case extremely difficult to investigate. Funds were ultimately used to procure arms and ammunition and for training the cadres of the violent extremist organisation, among other purposes. A portion of the funds raised through crowdfunding was also invested and parked in businesses and real estate projects to generate regular income for terrorism activities. To date, eight individuals in leadership roles within the violent organisation have been arrested on TF charges and prosecution complaints have been filed. As a result of the investigation, INR 35 million in assets are being sought for confiscation.

Yawn also dreams:

Pakistanis are quick to assign blame and Indians citizens are quick to accept credit that RAA Agints are responsible for this.

But this is TSPA cleaning house in order to try and have a fresh start with India.

Remember, that the former chief RAT did want to improve relationship with India and had initiated a ceasefire on the LOC that has held by and large.

P@kis like to ascribe these events to RAW but I am certain we have nothing to do with this. Just see the frequency of the killings. February, September, October. RAW may be good at collecting intelligence/data/information. Do you think RAW has this kind of capability, to actually go & neutralize a threat? If they did, why didn't they do this all these years? Mind you, as you said, this is just in p@kiland. There are more of these t*rds that were decommissioned. In other parts of the world.

Don't get me wrong, I am happy these SoBs got their just desserts, but I don't think we have anything to do with this.

But this is TSPA cleaning house in order to try and have a fresh start with India.

Remember, that the former chief RAT did want to improve relationship with India and had initiated a ceasefire on the LOC that has held by and large.

The talks, if there are any at all, will take place only:

1) after the elections, with the new govt in the saddle and with a firm grip on the reins....

2) The "peace" will have to hold, unbroken, for 2-3 years at least before any tent is pitched, table and chairs along with chai biskoot are laid out.

It is not just the rats but also the politicos and their jihadi cohorts, not all of whom are beholden to the rats and would be willing to take dictation and do the rats' bidding but the many little jihadi offshoots that have the so called ghazwa e hind bug firmly ensconced high up in their nether regions.

It is not known as to how the hans will react to these talks and after the hamas attack on israel, any govt would be very very wary of being caught on the backfoot, while being sectorally blinded like the israelis were

The paki state has lost it, they have major economic issues that will overtly cast a shadow over any talks. BTW, shariff very well knew of the kargil attacks and pretended to be innocent while blaming that mohajir mongrel for the entire episode, but had they succeeded, shariff would have stolen all the credit

To restart talks is not in India's interest because the pakis are desperate for "trade" and with trade comes major cross border issues in cashmore (pok) and punjab, which is reeling under a state govt that has major khalistani influences to contend with and many many kaneda origin favours to pay back.

Much monies will flow, particularly from pak, eyeraan, qatar to the jihadis standing for elections in India, because they will help the congis to weaken and damage the current govt and make for a govt post the 2024 elections that they hope will become weaker and thus more easy and amenable to handle

The housekeeping that is currently underway in pak is most probably for the benefit of the amrikis. The pakis are very disappointed with their cheeni sugar daddy and may be trying to get back into the good books of the goras for some urgent katora rattling.

we need to open from a position of strength, they are not our equals and there is no question of parity, period.

There has been many a false start, and that is why they have coined the very self serving phrase "uninterrupted and uninterruptable" talks, which many a congi puppet likes to bandy about when talking of the pakis

when the pakis say we will talk about cashmere, that is jihadi code for "give us cashmere" and you go home empty handed

This is my read. Let's see how things eventually pan out.

Chetak,

No major disagreement with you.

However, I do think that India will ask for its pound of flesh. Or TSP will have to diliver on that.

I still remember the infamous 20 from immediately after the post parliament attack. Most of those are still enjoying the hospitality of the TSP.

They will have to be delivered on a silver platter.
